How to use Pin window feature in Samsung Galaxy J2-2016(SM-J210F)?

Pin window refers to the specified application's screen fixed to your device. When the application is fixed, calls, messages, and other features may not be available. It will prevent access to other applications. 

 

Navigate to Apps → Settings → Lock screen and security → Other security settings → Pin windows → Select the App → Recent apps key → Pin icon → Start

 

Pictorial representation for using the Pin window feature is as follows:

 

a). Tap on Apps icon from the Home screen.

b). Drag the Screen upwards to access more apps.

 

. 

 

c). Tap on Settings icon.

 

. 

 

d). Tap on Lock screen and security settings.

 

. 

 

e). Drag the Screen upwards to access more settings.

 

. 

 

f). Select and tap on Other security settings.

 

. 

 

g). Drag the Screen upwards for more options.

 

. 

 

h). Select and tap on Pin windows option.

 

. 

 

i). Tap on the Switch to activate Pin windows.

 

. 

 

j). Select the App you want to pin or fix to the window. In this case, for example, Gallery.

 

. 

 

k). Tap on Recent apps key.

 

.  

 

l). A Pin icon will be shown in the bottom. Tap on the Pin icon.

 

. 

 

m). Tap on Start to enable it.

 

.  

 

n). Your Gallery app will be fixed to your window. You cannot access any other app while the screen is fixed. 

 

. 

 

NOTE : You can tap on the Recent applications key and the Back key simultaneously to unpin the window.
