why are messages not received after updating Latest softwar of galaxy s8|s8+ device?
When the device is updated to new software version, features and operations of downloaded 3'rd party applications may be not compatible fully with the new software version. At that time, We recommend reinstalling application again or use preloaded applications for the device. Regarding this case, Samsung had been recently notified that some 3'rd party message applications may not work properly on the S8/S8+ device updated to new software.
Accordingly, Samsung is scheduled to release a new Software to improve this symptom. Therefore, please check for updates to your device SW regularly via the Smart Switch PC or FOTA. Before releasing new software, We recommend using the Samsung Message application preloaded.
