Why does the Samsung TV automatically switches to StandBy Mode?

Samsung TV automatically switches to StandBy Mode when there is no signal. It saves power by turning the TV off automatically when no signal is received from the current source.

 There are two features in Samsung TV which turns your TV to StandBy Mode :

 

No Signal Power Off

 

It saves power by switching the Samsung TV to StandBy mode when there is no signal. You can activate/ change the timer in Eco Solution Option of System Menu. It can be 15/30/60 minutes.

 

Auto Protection Time  

 

It chooses how long the Samsung TV will take to activate the screensaver if the On-screen image remains the same. You can activate/change the timer in Auto Protection Time of System Menu. It can be 2/4/8/10 hours.
