I have been a Samsung Z Fold user for a number of years, with a Z Fold 4 and then a Z Fold 6. I loved both of these phones and the One UI software. The multitasking is next level, photos are amazing, and usability is brilliant. The Fold 4 had some battery problems after 2 years; that is why I upgraded to the Fold 6. The battery, durability, hinge and responsiveness of that phone were perfect for what I do. When I saw this new Z Fold 8 and its new format, it is perfect - it is the best of both worlds. The cover screen is now so usable, and the inside screen with the thinner body make it fit in my hand so easily.

I love the new design and functionality of the phone. The single screen is sufficient for me to do a lot of work without needing to open the full screen size. Of course the double screen helps when working on my VM machine. Only flaw is that the single screen you are unable to control the viewing dimensions, so for reading and older people like me, this becomes a slight issue. Of course you can open the double screen and that would solve it. So small flaw in the UX. Regardless, I would still recommend the phone. Good speed, sharp and clear images and certainly feels robust enough to handle someone rough like me.

I've been enjoying my Z Fold 8 the past couple of weeks. The form factor was especially appealing to me and it doesn't disappoint. The camera has its limitations, however I can still take perfectly acceptable snapshots. If I was creating content I would suggest the 8 ultra. Have had no problems with the battery life so far. This is my first foldable and I've been impressed with both screens. It's the first time in recent memory I've been excited with my new phone.

I upgraded from a Zfold 4, the battery life on the Fold8 is so much better, the crease is much improved, and the form factor is so comfortable to use. Reading is great, and watching movies is amazing.

Today is day 5 with the phone and I am absolutely loving it. Battery life has been fantastic and the size of phone is just perfect for getting most things done on the cover screen and accomplishing the rest on the inner screen. Having had the z fold 7 which was a good phone I can honestly say the "regular" 8 is even better and the perfect form factor for me. Cream colour is the best IMHO.. I have never had an issue with the crease so no comment on that. Screen display is bright enough even for outdoors in sunny weather. Oneui 9 flies so no complaints there. We will have to see how we do for durability going forward. The only complaint to date is the cost to own one of these phones.

Had it since the pre order date and not disappointed. The phone is full to use and response well. The only downside which is anticipated is the app compatibility in terms of screen size. Love the solid flod function, it doesnt feel flimsy. Battery life is good enough for daily use for me. Watching Kdrama on a big screen is a treat. Speaker is kind of muffled and not as loud and clear as S24 or flip 7 which i owned in the past. Highly recommended nonetheless!

3 orientations in which I can use the Z Fold 8: a good-sized outer display and a massive inner one that is not just suited to consume video content but also to read text! Everything seamlessly transitions between the outer & inner displays too. Pocketability and one-handed operations are distinctly great on this form factor. The size and shape of this phone is unique and this is definitely the best Fold phone to date. The thinner, lighter design compared with other Fold devices makes for a more user friendly experience whilst still offering the front screen as a quick use tool and the larger fold screen as a small tablet all in one. Ive put a 360 case on it as i will drop it and this is still no thicker than the average phone in a case. Battery so far is more than i need for heavy daily use and the speed and response is exceptional. The fold mech is strong and durable, holds firmly closed until openeded and snaps closed when finished. Best Samsung phone to date.

I have had the Fold 6 and thought moving to the Fold 7 was an evolution change, but moving to the Fold 8, wow! The size is perfect, it fits into your hand and looks right. Then you open it up and it transforms, pictures, video and books just fit the this screen ratio. The hinge works better than the Fold 7, opening easier and snaps open. The crease I have forgotten about. I didn't notice it on the Fold 7, but the screen is so much better. I never thought the Fold 7 was a slouch but the 8 seems so much more smoother and responsive. One UI 9 has some great improvements and the integration with the AI makes tasks and work flow so much easier.

I think Samsung nailed it with the Fold8, the size, the hinge mechanism, the screen viewing ration when folded and unfolded, it is impressive and once you get used to it you can't go back to normal phones. Battery capacity is huge and certainly lasts for a full day with constant usage, and the phone form factor is durable but worth investing in a rugged cased to protect such massive investment. Screen is bright and very responsive when folded and unfolded, really love watching videos on this phone, and more importantly choose the right case that support vertical kickstand (not just horizontal) to be sure you are most enjoying the screen view.

I am loving it so far! I love the size of both displays, and I really like the size of the device in general. The passport type shape is really appealing to me and its been a dream to consume content on. The device is very responsive and I havent had any kind of slowdowns at all, everything is instant and smooth. The battery life is really good too! I like the new si-c battery, it lasts ages and I havent had any issues with it at all- plus it keeps the device sleek and thin. The device itself feels very sturdy, it's well made and I have no concerns of it breaking. The hinge feels very snappy and premium and I havent had any issues with it at all.

Straight of the box i thought what a cool phone. Easy to set up,had it next to my S24 and it picked my phone up instantly. The Display is fantastic and extremely clear. The Hinge in the fold is very strong but not to stiff and is easy to open. I have my Battery set to 80 percent but everyday use, it doesn't drop below 50 percent, which is miles better than my S24. This isn't a Flimsy phone, it's quite robust and feels very strong in your hand. Searching through apps, it's really quick and very responsive and you can have multiple pages and apps open at the same time. This is a great upgrade from my S24, glad I got one. You won't be disappointed 😉

After getting my wife a Fold 7, I've been totally amazed by these foldable phones. You get the best of both worlds – a regular phone on the outside and a tablet inside! When my S23 started slowing down and the battery was dying fast, I knew it was time for a Fold. I knew the Fold 8 was coming out, so I waited and watched prices for both the new one and the Fold 7. After snagging a sweet deal on the Fold 8, it was a no-brainer. This phone is everything I hoped for and more. Battery - 4/5 Havent used it long enough but i could definitely tell that the new silicon carbon battery is making a huge difference Display - 5/5 Solid display. Nice viewing angles and the display is very readable outside. 120hz especially on the front screen is buttery smooth. Performance - Everything is smooth the animations are not luckluster. Using the new One UI 9.0 reminds me of the time when I first got to use One UI from the Note 10+ (also 4.1 and 7.0 are my favorite iterations)

Overall, I’m very happy with this phone. The large inner screen feels almost like a small tablet, which makes reading, browsing the web, checking messages and multitasking much more comfortable than on a regular phone. The design is also very practical because it is still compact enough when folded. The only downside I have noticed so far is that when using the front screen, some apps can be a bit slow to respond. Occasionally I have had to close the app and reopen it to make it work properly again. Hopefully this can be improved with future software updates. Apart from that, the phone is excellent and the big screen experience is really impressive.

I Waited for the 8th version to finally buy a fold. And boy did samsung finally deliver in this version The middle ground to a flip and a bar phone was definitely the sweetspot. I'm loving the form factor and the easiness to use in one hand. I'm still not over the fact that this phone can turn into a tablet in a blink of an eye. Seems durable so far. It's been in a case since day 1. The pistachio color is beautiful. Battery life is great as well. I've gone through a day with decent usage and still had more than 40% left. Coming from a s21 I felt a great bump in brightness. Inner screen is gorgeous. Pictures and movies look amazing. I dont feel the crease at all. I've not used the previous versions so don't know the difference.

Samsung never dissapoints ,i nived to samsung when the first flip came and now this loving it!!!! I charged it over night and by the end of the day it was 60 percent absolutely chuffed. Flawless display and responsive ,and im blown away by the simplicity of data transference. Since the first flip samsung has really progressed with the hinge movement . You cnt the see middle hinge on the display ,the protective screen use to come after a year but with last flip it did not happen .Durability has come a long away. No chipping, bending scratches. I am the biggest fan now as samsung has proven themselves in every aspect ."Always One step ahead in the Game ".

Having held onto my S23 Ultra for the last 3 years, I was very tempted by the Z Fold 8 Ultra! However, in the end I opted for the Z Fold 8 because the form factor felt different. I am obsessed with how good this phone is to use just with the external screen and use that easily 80% but possibly 90% of the time. The battery is currently lasting me 2 days which is outstanding for such a small form factor. The foldable screen once opened is then truly something special. The phone is brilliantly responsive between screens and feels seamless. The camera is really only average when trying to zoom, but for normal photos of subjects nearby is perfectly acceptable.

I bought this phone about 2 weeks ago and was skeptical about the form factor but immediately fell in love to the point where my S25 Ultra felt way too long. As someone with smaller hands this fits my needs more. YES the S25 Ultra has better camera but depending on your needs, the bigger optional screen for media consumption might be the better option for you. I do use the camera but more point and shoot rather then far shots so this fits my needs more. The battery I have no complaints. I work office job so I always have charger around. I just watched video of someone trying to break the phone and failed so durability will be solid. Wish samsu g made hinge protective cases but theres always 3rd party. Responsiveness is snappy as well.

I saw a square form-factor phone from another brand and I was really into it, but after doing some research I found out that it wasn't powerful enough for daily tasks and the battery life wasn't that impressive either. A couple of months later, Samsung announced they were releasing a small form-factor fold phone, and I already knew this was going to be my next phone, especially with those square-cut chocolate teaser ads. And here we are: I ordered it the very next day, I've been playing with it, and I love everything about it. Thanks for this innovative design, keep innovating!

I am very happy with the form factor. I am coming from a Fold 6 which I found to be too narrow when folded. The added width makes it easier for me to type on the keyboard. The shorter height makes it easy to reach the top and bottom of the screen when folded. There is less wasted space when watching videos unfolded. I think my ideal phone would be this form factor with better cameras. I am noticing some third party apps not accommodating the screen resolution properly but assume things will improve over time. The battery so far seems good. It is lasting longer than my Fold 6 probably due to a combination of larger battery size and degradation in my old phone.

Where do i start? The fold 8 is the perfect little machine. Fits great in jeans pockets and the right size to do everything on the go right on the cover screen. Fold 8 open 😜 and its like a kindle size device. Super comfortable to hold, genuinely the perfect size for other tasks that require more attention. The display quality is fantastic So far. The battery life is great. I've had it 4 days now and only charged it twice. I can't comment on durabilty just yet as ive not had it long enough but It eems solid. Its a fast a very responsive little unit and feels very rugged at the hinge compared to other folds/flips i have had

It's been little over a week since I received Z fold 8 and I have been really impressed with it. The design feels slimmer and more refined, while still giving you the convenience of a phone that opens into a much larger screen. The large inner display is excellent for watching videos, browsing the web, multitasking, and using multiple apps at the same time. The outer screen is also much more comfortable to use for everyday tasks. Overall, the Galaxy Z Fold8 is an impressive upgrade and feels very premium. This is one of the best foldable phones and mini-tablet in one device, it is very expensive but totally worth it.

I have had multiple foldables from Honor over the last few years and this year I traded in my Honor Magic V5 for the Z Fold 8. And I am so glad I did. The form factor is far better, it's lighter, the display is epic, the crease is nearly non-existent, the battery is superb and holding the device in the hand is great. It's easily pocketable and is very snappy to use, very responsive and so far, I cannot say enough great things about it. I had questions about the camera but for standard photography, I really can't complain. I don't use a zoom lens so I don't miss the added camera in the Fold 8 Ultra. Superb all round device!

Superb. Great form factor - so much more pocket friendly than the zfold6 that I had before. Maybe make one that has no fold in it - what a great size and it would be so much thinner. I guess it'll take a while for app developers to fully exploit the screen size as some apps look weird right now. Battery is a pleasant surprise as it's so much better than the zfold6. Quick and nimble - thanks Samsung designers

I really loved my Flip 3, and then I got the S24 Ultra, which had an amazing camera and was a great all-around phone, though a bit big for my pocket. Now I'm on the Fold 8, and I'm super impressed with how it folds and its slim compact size, and also Samsung does the BEST trade-in deals. The screen and battery are awesome. But, I'm really let down about the camera. For this price, I expected a telephoto lens or better optical zoom. When I tried to zoom in about 15 meters, the quality was pretty bad. Samsung team, you could've made it perfect by adding another camera or better optical sensor, making it a truly outstanding product. It's a real letdown, I feel like I have a camera from 2 years ago.

I truly love this phone. The front display is a great size where I can use for all apps and more. The middle display is simply fantastic 👌 and I love the way the hinge snaps giving it a really high quality feel. The battery last for two days which is incredible and the whole devise feel so durable and well made. I have a three year contract and feel totally confident this device will last. The operating system is perfect and has amazing responsiveness. It truly is a joy to own and use. Love the large screen when I'm searching online and the front is great for everyday use. I would highly recommend this device

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 is an impressive foldable that combines a compact phone with a large 7.6-inch display for multitasking, streaming and productivity. I started using Samsung phones way back with the 'S' series, then through the years, wanted more screen space, so the Flip 3 was next in line. Great phone until I changed for the Fold 4. My daughter still enjoys my Fold 4, but I moved up to the Fold 6 , then to the Fold 7, and now to the Fold8. This phone is unbelievable, so many options are available especially when you download Samsung apps like Good Lock and Navstar, and more. Many of my friends have changed to Samsung because they want to experience the screen size as well as the extras like the Samsung watch , that links in to the phone perfectly.

It is a truly remarkable phone, thin and with a very useful foldable large screen. But, it is still lacking a few essential things, as it doesn't have magnetic wireless charging capability despite the fact it doesn't have a pen like the Ultra that apparently is the cause for not introducing this feature in the first place, it is not coming with a a screen protector for the external display as it used to, no ultra fast charger in the box as the old chargers are not ultra fast charging but barely 10-15 W, the battery doesn't last more than the previous models or any S models. Overall it is not worth the full price but if you can get a good discount then it is a good purchase.

I love the new size of phone both screens are a great size and it is easy to carry around in pockets and bags. I wasn't sure I would like this phone when I pre-ordered, my doubts were gone in the first hour it is so much fun, the camera is great and using it open makes it a lot better, battery lasts a long time, I love the finger print reader is on the side and not on the screen. If you are on the fence try it, you won't regret it. The hinges are great and no visible line on the screen when open. The speed is great and it is not as fragile as you think so I think it will last before I need to upgrade.

I've had most phone styles and recently changed from the flip7 as I got sick of having to flip it open to use it. The front screen on the fold8 is perfect for 90% of use. I do multitasking on once open and it does it perfectly with 2 apps open. Only gripe I have is on apps like instagram, it doesn't respond well with me hitting the bookmark button or other types of buttons on other apps where the function sits on the far right of the screen, I believe it's a glitch for the wider format for the front screen. I assume this can be fixed with an update 🙏 other than that - perfect device. Sturdy and feels great.

Been using for a few weeks now and I do like certain things like the smaller size. However while most things I use the phone for work great, there are some things that get on my nerves. I like to use the phone open & in landscape mode but some apps will just not work like this and I am forced to use in in portrait mode. The wireless charging seems to be very finicky & has to be aligned to the mm or it will just stop charging

I've had my Z Fold 8 for a few weeks now and I really like it. It is light and thin and the new size fits in my pockets so much better. I like the new size of the unfolded screen and also find that I'm using the front screen more than I used to on my Z Fold 5. All the features are good and everything transferred easily from my old phone. Definitely very happy with the new design and very happy with the lilac colour.

This phone is a revelation, perfect size for one or two hand operation. Fabulous display wider than a normal handheld which in my view gives your eyes more to see and easier to operate. Coming from a z fold 7 this phone as come on leaps and bounds, longer battery time, brilliant display and a very responsive operating system in the Android 17 with UI 9. Stunning build quality with a far better hinge. This phone is a keeper for me and I am confident it's durability will last for all of the updates. Outstanding specs, and without doubt Samsung's best phone yet. They will sell millions of these no problem.

So I’ve been using the Galaxy Z Fold 8 for about two weeks now, and honestly? It’s awesome. I was a bit skeptical at first because foldables used to be so bulky, but this one actually feels like a normal phone when folded! Here are a few things that blew me away: The crease is basically gone: You seriously don't even notice it unless you're looking for it under direct light. Multitasking is a game changer: Watching YouTube while texting and taking notes on the huge inner screen just feels unfair to regular phones. Battery actually lasts: I was worried about power, but it easily gets me through a full day without stressing. It’s definitely pricey, but if you've been on the fence about going foldable, this is the one to get. 10/10 would recommend!

I love the phone, the size of the phone, I have had the z fold from the 1st gen to the z fold 7 but changing to the z fold 8 it's a game changer, thank you Samsung for this. The battery is very impressive last me whole day with heavy use and the display is nice and crisp, i love the durability it's got tough glass, I also love the titanium hinge that shows less crease, and the software and top it's a very responsive phone

Been a fan of the flip, daily drove my 6 for quite some time but I also carried my pocket notebook for notetaking and daily scribbles. I love the form factor and wished awhile for something like it to show up. I been using this thing for a week now and been enjoying it day to day. Great phone, only 'issue' is... when playing games on front screen then open to full screen, the games don't always reconfigure size. Have to shut game down completely then re log on. I know it's more a gamers developer issue but that's why it's an issue and not a complaint :) Otherwise, I'm really liking this gem :) Oh and I never give 5 stars cos there's always improvement else we wouldn't buy new...

Pleased so far. Difficult to find apps in all the different screans. Compass does not work I think due to Samsung cover. Will be interesting to see if the cover works as it only covers 50% of the phone, is stuck on with sticky tabs, am terrified the first time I drop it... question wether cover is fit for purpose. Time will tell.

The best phone format I’ve ever tried. I had the Galaxy S25 Ultra and Galaxy S26 Ultra, but they are bulky and clumsy. The Fold8 makes life much easier: - small, thin and lightweight: it easily fits in a jeans pocket - great for watching YouTube and reading books - the hinge is less visible than on my wife’s Flip6 - the standing case is excellent for hands-free content viewing It’s not ideal, though: - the camera is visibly worse than on the S26 Ultra - some apps cut off content because of the folded display’s unusual width - it looks fragile and might be very expensive to repair after a fall

Last 2 phones were the Fold4 and Fold6 so was very curious about this new form factor and so far, it has been great in all aspects - fits better in my pocket, using it more in the folded state than before, when opened its great in landscape for media and great in portrait for messaging, web browsing and reading. The size format is perfect, i feel i only need to open when actually needed. With the ultra the screen is too narrow and i feel i need to open it more than i should. The crease is barely visible at the moment which is great. Not sure how this will be over time. Battery life is good last me the day. The hinge is very keen not sure im confortable with the forceful opening. Its alot lighter than my previous phone so durability is yet to be determined. But with this being so light im worried for how it would stand up to being dropped. With the 1tb 16gb it feel rapid when it comes to responsiveness.

Recently upgraded from the fold 7 to 8 and can't believe it has taken this long to finally have a foldable of this size. Not too small like a flip but not too large like the folds, but a comfortable passport size phone that allows you to easily use it when its closed and fits perfect in the palm of your hands. When open give you a beautiful size for viewing videos like a wide screen TV. Perfect for gaming, viewing office documents, social media. I highly recommend if like me, you want a comfortable phone that can slip into your pocket, but also a large screen for streaming films. It's fast, smooth and simple to use. Packed full of awesome features, you really won't regret the purchase. Trust me!!!

I am blown away by this phone so far. For years I've said the trend of huge phones that just get taller is frustrating. They're uncomfortable and impractical. This is the perfect form factor - so easy to hold, and the large folded out screen is amazing. Most importantly, it's a true joy to use folded as well because the screen is a perfect size. Feels great in the pocket too. So far the hinge has only creased a little so I just hope it's durable over time. If so, it's perfect. Not gone below 50% battery with moderate use on both screens, including games. Samsung, kudos. This is a game changer!

Been using this for a while now and it's exceeded expectations. The size is honestly perfect - fits comfortably in my pocket without feeling bulky, which surprised me for a foldable. The crease on the inner display is minimal, way better than I expected going in. Battery life has been really solid too, easily gets me through a full day of heavy use without me babying it. I absolutely love the Galaxy Z Fold 8. The biggest highlight for me is the form factor — having a normal phone that can instantly unfold into a mini tablet is incredibly useful. It gives you the convenience of a phone when you’re on the go, but whenever you need more screen space for browsing, reading, videos or multitasking, you can simply open it up. The design also feels very refined. Samsung has done a great job making a foldable device feel polished and practical rather than just a cool piece of technology. I bought this a month ago and am so happy that I did. The battery life is incredible and easily gets me through a full day of heavy use. Happy i got the galaxy z fold 8, it's quite handy and easy to hold, fits perfectly in my chest pocket, my problem with it is that many android apps are not fully optimized for the screen display, it feels out of place compared to the display on the regular mobile phones, also I feel the battery should be better, not so happy with how long the battery lasts, but in all, it is a beautiful mobile phone.

I keep waiting for something else to come out that would wow me like the Flip did, and when I saw the Fold 8, I didn't hesitate to pre order! Better battery than the Zfold 7, the hinge feels sturdier. This is a tablet that folds down, I'm using the larger screenshot more than I ever did with then 7. Also the wider screen makes typing easier with far fewer fat thumb mistakes

Overall, this is an amazing product. The most remarkable thing is the size, how it fits perfectly in your hand how itches becomes a perfect tablet at the same time and is that passport format that makes it just remarkable. The only issue I have is that it seems really fragile with the foldable screen. Maybe for those who are new to this type of foldable phones might become an issue either because the phone breaks or because they chose too afraid to spend so much money on something that is

So far so good. Battery life is good. Don't feel like I'm having charge it all the time. Or have to stop using it due to battery drainage. The display is crisp. Colours are vivid. Was a little worried about the hinge to start with as I've never had one. But it's a very sturdy phone.

This size fold is the best of both worlds. Nice and small when folded and a great size display when unfolded. I love the size and prefer shorter but wider. I'd even be happy with the phone if it didn't unfold. It's just a nice size all around. Performance and battery are fantastic. The only wish I had would be for built-in qi2 magnets.

Got this a few days ago. Always wanted a folding phone of this size and this definitely delivers. Fun to use especially for media since the aspect ratio when rotated is perfect like a tablet, while still being able to pocketed as a phone. Very convenient.

I'm loving this new phone, the display is great on the front screen and really comes to life when you unfold it, the hinge/fold in the main screen is totally unnoticeable. The size of the phone i thought maybe too wide, but I was mistaken it fits great in my pockets and feels good in the hand. The battery seems great too as I've had this since Monday (now Thursday night) and have been constantly using it and setting it all up etc. I have only charged it twice. It feels very well made, responsive and only time will tell if it's durability will be enough. But so far 5 Stars from me 😍

Put a Pre-Order just right after the Galaxy Unpacked event, and when it's finally arrived, it didn't disappoint! This is just the right size to fit into any pockets! Excellent performance and also battery capacity. The screen fold hinge is amazing, barely can see the fold when fully opened.

I received my Samsung Z fold 8 . I was really excited to get it. It was light and fits well in my hand. I love the size of the phone unfolded. I can watch my shows and videos just the way I want them. The features of the phone is amazing. The hinge is very strong. The camera may not have the telescopic one but still snaps great quality video and photos. I'm excited to further explore my new phone. Amazing job Samsung!

I have got the s25 ultra, its absolutely amazing, honestly I was considering the 17pro max, pixel 10 pro xl, and the s25 ultra for over 3 months, and did lots of comparisons, all were good products, but by far the s25 ultra blows everything out of the water, its the king of all phones.
