Coming from a Flip7, this is a major upgrade. If you're coming from a Flip, go for Fold 8. The transition to a Fold from a Flip is made much easier with this new wide form factor. That's because it's still very compact and pocketable. The cover screen is so useful, I only go into the main screen when watching videos, or just wanting more space for browsing. No lag, all buttery smooth. Also, the cover and main screens are both more than bright enough for outside viewing in the sun. Battery easily lasts me all day as well. Highly recommend this device. This wide form factor will be the mainstream for foldables. Also, the crease is extremely minimal, and it's stayed the same since using it for the last 3 weeks. You really don't notice it at all. No going back to a slab phone now. Overall, the phone and hinge feel solid.
My second ever Samsung phone and my first ever fold phone! What an experience. Amazing and lovely. The form factor (as everyone says in the YouTube videos 😂) is truly amazing. If you're thinking about it, I can tell you it's worth it

Had the z fold 8 for a week now and it did take some getting used to, with it being a smaller phone than my previous s24 ultra. I have to say though that I am so happy with it, the display is excellent and it just feels right in the hand. The hinge is strong and the whole phone feels durable and responsive. I am also impressed with the battery, a single charge is lasting all day despite it hardly being out of my hand at the moment. The speaker also produces good sound but it is located in the wrong place in my opinion as it is over to the left when it is in tablet mode. I also don't like the front facing camera being so visible it is distracting. On the whole though, i am really happy with the phone and glad I made the switch to a fold.

I absolutely love this phone. The new form seems like a simple change but is absolutely revolutionary. Everything can be done on the cover screen but then when you open up to watch video and read it really is like having a tablet in your hand.

I received my new z8 foldable phone promptly as advertised. I was undecided on which of the 2 z8 options to choose but after carefully reviewing what I require for my use the foldable was my decision. The added memory upgraded camera and larger profile of the ultra although appealing it was more space size and camera than i need and is why i did not go to the ultra. I have not extensively used all the options yet but I have been exploring all that the phone offers and I am very pleased. The transfer from my previous Samsung to this new version went smoothly. I have adjusted to this new phone with little effort The difference in the size and shape of the phone took a bit f getting comfortable to but it very easy to hold and use. The battery holds a good charge and I can comfortably say it is at least 48 hrs before I recharge it. I am not hard on my phone but I did add the Samsung magnetic phone case for ease of charging and to protect the phone. Although the phone appears to be sturdy enough for my use I like to use caution and added the case. I also added the privacy screen film but I have not installed it yet. It does not look difficult to do. Using the phone with screen opened is not something I use daily but it provides a nice option when I would like the larger view. So far no problem with the hinge or any lines on the larger screen. The phone responds easily with the touch options and i appreciate the side touch to open the screen. Im am very satisfied that I moved forward on this new phone option.

Transition from a flip 6 to this is like chalk and cheese, the display is phenomenal, the front one which is highly usable and one that I use for most tasks, the hinge is nice and firm and has a reassuring click, once I set the refresh rate the screens are responsive, fast, no lag and exceptionally bright. So far the battery lasts into the next day which is a big improvement over the flip. Finally I have bought a case to protect my investment, but the phone seems durabilty looks impressive.

The size and shape of this phone is unique and this is definitely the best Fold phone to date. The thinner, lighter design compared with other Fold devices makes for a more user friendly experience whilst still offering the front screen as a quick use tool and the larger fold screen as a small tablet all in one. Ive put a 360 case on it as i will drop it and this is still no thicker than the average phone in a case. Battery so far is more than i need for heavy daily use and the speed and response is exceptional. The fold mech is strong and durable, holds firmly closed until openeded and snaps closed when finished. Best Samsung phone to date.

I have had the Fold 6 and thought moving to the Fold 7 was an evolution change, but moving to the Fold 8, wow! The size is perfect, it fits into your hand and looks right. Then you open it up and it transforms, pictures, video and books just fit the this screen ratio. The hinge works better than the Fold 7, opening easier and snaps open. The crease I have forgotten about. I didn't notice it on the Fold 7, but the screen is so much better. I never thought the Fold 7 was a slouch but the 8 seems so much more smoother and responsive. One UI 9 has some great improvements and the integration with the AI makes tasks and work flow so much easier.

I think Samsung nailed it with the Fold8, the size, the hinge mechanism, the screen viewing ration when folded and unfolded, it is impressive and once you get used to it you can't go back to normal phones. Battery capacity is huge and certainly lasts for a full day with constant usage, and the phone form factor is durable but worth investing in a rugged cased to protect such massive investment. Screen is bright and very responsive when folded and unfolded, really love watching videos on this phone, and more importantly choose the right case that support vertical kickstand (not just horizontal) to be sure you are most enjoying the screen view.

I am loving it so far! I love the size of both displays, and I really like the size of the device in general. The passport type shape is really appealing to me and its been a dream to consume content on. The device is very responsive and I havent had any kind of slowdowns at all, everything is instant and smooth. The battery life is really good too! I like the new si-c battery, it lasts ages and I havent had any issues with it at all- plus it keeps the device sleek and thin. The device itself feels very sturdy, it's well made and I have no concerns of it breaking. The hinge feels very snappy and premium and I havent had any issues with it at all.

Straight of the box i thought what a cool phone. Easy to set up,had it next to my S24 and it picked my phone up instantly. The Display is fantastic and extremely clear. The Hinge in the fold is very strong but not to stiff and is easy to open. I have my Battery set to 80 percent but everyday use, it doesn't drop below 50 percent, which is miles better than my S24. This isn't a Flimsy phone, it's quite robust and feels very strong in your hand. Searching through apps, it's really quick and very responsive and you can have multiple pages and apps open at the same time. This is a great upgrade from my S24, glad I got one. You won't be disappointed 😉

After getting my wife a Fold 7, I've been totally amazed by these foldable phones. You get the best of both worlds – a regular phone on the outside and a tablet inside! When my S23 started slowing down and the battery was dying fast, I knew it was time for a Fold. I knew the Fold 8 was coming out, so I waited and watched prices for both the new one and the Fold 7. After snagging a sweet deal on the Fold 8, it was a no-brainer. This phone is everything I hoped for and more. It's super fast, holds a charge forever, and the inner display crease is barely there – you actually forget you have a tablet that folds in half! Seriously great, no regrets.

Overall, I’m very happy with this phone. The large inner screen feels almost like a small tablet, which makes reading, browsing the web, checking messages and multitasking much more comfortable than on a regular phone. The design is also very practical because it is still compact enough when folded. The only downside I have noticed so far is that when using the front screen, some apps can be a bit slow to respond. Occasionally I have had to close the app and reopen it to make it work properly again. Hopefully this can be improved with future software updates. Apart from that, the phone is excellent and the big screen experience is really impressive.

Samsung never dissapoints ,i nived to samsung when the first flip came and now this loving it!!!! I charged it over night and by the end of the day it was 60 percent absolutely chuffed. Flawless display and responsive ,and im blown away by the simplicity of data transference. Since the first flip samsung has really progressed with the hinge movement . You cnt the see middle hinge on the display ,the protective screen use to come after a year but with last flip it did not happen .Durability has come a long away. No chipping, bending scratches. I am the biggest fan now as samsung has proven themselves in every aspect ."Always One step ahead in the Game ".

Having held onto my S23 Ultra for the last 3 years, I was very tempted by the Z Fold 8 Ultra! However, in the end I opted for the Z Fold 8 because the form factor felt different. I am obsessed with how good this phone is to use just with the external screen and use that easily 80% but possibly 90% of the time. The battery is currently lasting me 2 days which is outstanding for such a small form factor. The foldable screen once opened is then truly something special. The phone is brilliantly responsive between screens and feels seamless. The camera is really only average when trying to zoom, but for normal photos of subjects nearby is perfectly acceptable.

I have carpal tunnel and was looking for a smaller phone to use. The android platform requires a lot of vertical thumb movement, so having shorter phone helps a lot. I never really type one handed so I didn't mind how wide it is. When I need to multitask I love how I can open up the phone and use the wider aspect ratio to open up mulitiple windows. When closed its about the same thickness as my s23 ultra which I find insane. While the phone did take a couple of days to calibrate the battery according to my usage, I find that it lasts the whole day (from 6am to midnight) with 40% left. That's incredible battery life. The camera isn't the best out there but I have a separate camera for when I go on trips anyway. Its serviceable for every day photos and does well enough in low light.

I am very happy with the form factor. I am coming from a Fold 6 which I found to be too narrow when folded. The added width makes it easier for me to type on the keyboard. The shorter height makes it easy to reach the top and bottom of the screen when folded. There is less wasted space when watching videos unfolded. I think my ideal phone would be this form factor with better cameras. I am noticing some third party apps not accommodating the screen resolution properly but assume things will improve over time. The battery so far seems good. It is lasting longer than my Fold 6 probably due to a combination of larger battery size and degradation in my old phone.

add this phone for about a couple weeks now I find it very responsive hinges very good battery life Lost World displays unbelievable and the durability of the phone I find as a trade worker is good and no problems yet so all in all the rating very highly in my books

Where do i start? The fold 8 is the perfect little machine. Fits great in jeans pockets and the right size to do everything on the go right on the cover screen. Fold 8 open 😜 and its like a kindle size device. Super comfortable to hold, genuinely the perfect size for other tasks that require more attention. The display quality is fantastic So far. The battery life is great. I've had it 4 days now and only charged it twice. I can't comment on durabilty just yet as ive not had it long enough but It eems solid. Its a fast a very responsive little unit and feels very rugged at the hinge compared to other folds/flips i have had

I have had multiple foldables from Honor over the last few years and this year I traded in my Honor Magic V5 for the Z Fold 8. And I am so glad I did. The form factor is far better, it's lighter, the display is epic, the crease is nearly non-existent, the battery is superb and holding the device in the hand is great. It's easily pocketable and is very snappy to use, very responsive and so far, I cannot say enough great things about it. I had questions about the camera but for standard photography, I really can't complain. I don't use a zoom lens so I don't miss the added camera in the Fold 8 Ultra. Superb all round device!

Best updated, most unique designed mobile that totally shines above all the rest! Samsung Fold 8 is amazing. Fits so snuggly in your hand. Is slim lined and a good light weight. Most impressed in the battery life and easy fit in your purse or pocket size. Photos are sharp, bright and clear. Love the fold out larger screen and amazing apps to use. Can chat to friends on Messenger on one side while scrolling media on the left. Being older and not too techy I've found the Samsung Fold 8 easy to use and navigate. Even my hubby bought one! I love the new design and functionality of the phone. The single screen is sufficient for me to do a lot of work without needing to open the full screen size. Of course the double screen helps when working on my VM machine. Only flaw is that the single screen you are unable to control the viewing dimensions, so for reading and older people like me, this becomes a slight issue. Of course you can open the double screen and that would solve it. So small flaw in the UX. Regardless, I would still recommend the phone. Good speed, sharp and clear images and certainly feels robust enough to handle someone rough like me.

I'm happy with my purchase. It's great for watching videos, taking pictures and split screens. Love the colour of the pistachio and how compact it is. Phone does get warm at times. Battery is decent. Crease you can see it but not as noticeable when watching videos or being on the phone. Brightness is good. Durability, make sure u get a case of the corners will get damaged. Overall a great phone.

I have been a Samsung Z Fold user for a number of years, with a Z Fold 4 and then a Z Fold 6. I loved both of these phones and the One UI software. The multitasking is next level, photos are amazing, and usability is brilliant. The Fold 4 had some battery problems after 2 years; that is why I upgraded to the Fold 6. The battery, durability, hinge and responsiveness of that phone were perfect for what I do. When I saw this new Z Fold 8 and its new format, it is perfect - it is the best of both worlds. The cover screen is now so usable, and the inside screen with the thinner body make it fit in my hand so easily.

I truly love this phone. The front display is a great size where I can use for all apps and more. The middle display is simply fantastic 👌 and I love the way the hinge snaps giving it a really high quality feel. The battery last for two days which is incredible and the whole devise feel so durable and well made. I have a three year contract and feel totally confident this device will last. The operating system is perfect and has amazing responsiveness. It truly is a joy to own and use. Love the large screen when I'm searching online and the front is great for everyday use. I would highly recommend this device

It is a truly remarkable phone, thin and with a very useful foldable large screen. But, it is still lacking a few essential things, as it doesn't have magnetic wireless charging capability despite the fact it doesn't have a pen like the Ultra that apparently is the cause for not introducing this feature in the first place, it is not coming with a a screen protector for the external display as it used to, no ultra fast charger in the box as the old chargers are not ultra fast charging but barely 10-15 W, the battery doesn't last more than the previous models or any S models. Overall it is not worth the full price but if you can get a good discount then it is a good purchase.

This is my first fordable. I'm impressed with most aspects of the phone. My annoyances are the comparisons between using a swift keyboard is Samsung keyboard. Swift is still better. Size of keyboard overlaps everything on the screen. Not a good experience. Need the ability to control rotation between vertical and landscape when using the outer screen. There are some apps which I don't want to rotate to landscape when the phone is closed. Would also be peace of mind to have a higher ip rating. Ip48 keeps me up at night and I would love not to have to use a chunky case to protect the phone.

I love the new size of phone both screens are a great size and it is easy to carry around in pockets and bags. I wasn't sure I would like this phone when I pre-ordered, my doubts were gone in the first hour it is so much fun, the camera is great and using it open makes it a lot better, battery lasts a long time, I love the finger print reader is on the side and not on the screen. If you are on the fence try it, you won't regret it. The hinges are great and no visible line on the screen when open. The speed is great and it is not as fragile as you think so I think it will last before I need to upgrade.

I've had most phone styles and recently changed from the flip7 as I got sick of having to flip it open to use it. The front screen on the fold8 is perfect for 90% of use. I do multitasking on once open and it does it perfectly with 2 apps open. Only gripe I have is on apps like instagram, it doesn't respond well with me hitting the bookmark button or other types of buttons on other apps where the function sits on the far right of the screen, I believe it's a glitch for the wider format for the front screen. I assume this can be fixed with an update 🙏 other than that - perfect device. Sturdy and feels great.

3 orientations in which I can use the Z Fold 8: a good-sized outer display and a massive inner one that is not just suited to consume video content but also to read text! Everything seamlessly transitions between the outer & inner displays too. Pocketability and one-handed operations are distinctly great on this form factor. Watching videos on the phone has been a treat! I finally feel like I have landed on THE one device that I can daily drive for everything because when I open the Z Fold 8 up, I can do things that I would on a tablet OR even, dare I say, somethings that I would open a PC for earlier..

I had a Galaxy 4 and I wanted a new phone. The new Galaxy 8 was coming out, so I waited to get it and I am so happy I did. I'm a hairdresser and I book people into my booking app, when I open the phone like a tablet, it is easy to see when I can book.
Today is day 5 with the phone and I am absolutely loving it. Battery life has been fantastic and the size of phone is just perfect for getting most things done on the cover screen and accomplishing the rest on the inner screen. Having had the z fold 7 which was a good phone I can honestly say the "regular" 8 is even better and the perfect form factor for me. Cream colour is the best IMHO.. I have never had an issue with the crease so no comment on that. Screen display is bright enough even for outdoors in sunny weather. Oneui 9 flies so no complaints there. We will have to see how we do for durability going forward. The only complaint to date is the cost to own one of these phones.

This phone is a revelation, perfect size for one or two hand operation. Fabulous display wider than a normal handheld which in my view gives your eyes more to see and easier to operate. Coming from a z fold 7 this phone as come on leaps and bounds, longer battery time, brilliant display and a very responsive operating system in the Android 17 with UI 9. Stunning build quality with a far better hinge. This phone is a keeper for me and I am confident it's durability will last for all of the updates. Outstanding specs, and without doubt Samsung's best phone yet. They will sell millions of these no problem.

I started using Samsung phones way back with the 'S' series, then through the years, wanted more screen space, so the Flip 3 was next in line. Great phone until I changed for the Fold 4. My daughter still enjoys my Fold 4, but I moved up to the Fold 6 , then to the Fold 7, and now to the Fold8. This phone is unbelievable, so many options are available especially when you download Samsung apps like Good Lock and Navstar, and more. Many of my friends have changed to Samsung because they want to experience the screen size as well as the extras like the Samsung watch , that links in to the phone perfectly.

I absolutely love this phone — it might honestly be the best one I’ve ever owned. The battery life is solid and easily gets me through a full day of heavy use without any issues. The display brightness is incredible, even outdoors in direct sunlight it stays crisp and easy to read. Build quality feels noticeably more durable than previous models I’ve had, so it holds up well to everyday wear and tear. The hinge feels sturdy and smooth with no wobble, and everything about the responsiveness — from the screen to app switching — feels fast and fluid. Couldn’t be happier with this purchase!

I love the phone, the size of the phone, I have had the z fold from the 1st gen to the z fold 7 but changing to the z fold 8 it's a game changer, thank you Samsung for this. I am completely in love with the new Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8! The updated, wider aspect ratio makes a massive difference in daily use. Having that extra screen real estate means significantly less scrolling whether I'm browsing, reading, or multitasking, and media consumption feels far more immersive. It feels ridiculously lightweight in hand and fits in my pocket effortlessly, yet unfolding it gives you a stunning, tablet-like display that’s genuinely useful. The battery life easily lasts all day, performance is lightning fast, and typing on the cover screen is far more comfortable now. I went from the z fold 5 to the s24 ultra, now to the z fold 8 wide. The aspect on this phone is tough to get used to and being a new pocket phone, optimization has been good, but I know will turn into great very soon. The z fold 5 was a great phone but I didnt think the folds were where they needed to be. The z fold 8 is just that. I also got the z fold 8 ultra for my wife and we both love our new phones! The slim profile of this phone has been VERY impressive. And the weight is amazing. I love that the back only cases add minimal weight by adding mag rings to the back to use attachments. I hope at some point they offer a little more protection for less as the cases are prices and I opted aftermarket there for extra protection. Battery life so far has been on par, if not better than the s24u and zf5. But that's to be expected of a new battery, although these use new the silica, so may degrade slower? The responsiveness has been great. I opted for the slowest tier of the 3, as I'm not much of a gamer. The phone does tend to let out some heat at the back, so I wonder what the higher 1tb version does? Phone was already pricey, so I'm happy with my decision.

I’ve been buying Samsung phones all the way back since the Galaxy S2, and I’ve tried my fair share of devices over the years. The Galaxy Z Fold 8 is easily the most impressive one yet. Previous folds always felt like a bit of a trade-off with thickness and pocket bulk, but Samsung finally nailed the form factor here. It’s easily the thinnest, sleekest fold I’ve ever owned. Using the outer screen one-handed is completely natural now without feeling clunky, and opening it up gives you that full screen whenever you need it. Fast, smooth, and an incredible all-rounder. 10/10 from a long-time fan

The best phone format I’ve ever tried. I had the Galaxy S25 Ultra and Galaxy S26 Ultra, but they are bulky and clumsy. The Fold8 makes life much easier: - small, thin and lightweight: it easily fits in a jeans pocket - great for watching YouTube and reading books - the hinge is less visible than on my wife’s Flip6 - the standing case is excellent for hands-free content viewing It’s not ideal, though: - the camera is visibly worse than on the S26 Ultra - some apps cut off content because of the folded display’s unusual width - it looks fragile and might be very expensive to repair after a fall

The size format is perfect, i feel i only need to open when actually needed. With the ultra the screen is too narrow and i feel i need to open it more than i should. The crease is barely visible at the moment which is great. Not sure how this will be over time. Battery life is good last me the day. The hinge is very keen not sure im confortable with the forceful opening. Its alot lighter than my previous phone so durability is yet to be determined. But with this being so light im worried for how it would stand up to being dropped. With the 1tb 16gb it feel rapid when it comes to responsiveness.

I am blown away by this phone so far. For years I've said the trend of huge phones that just get taller is frustrating. They're uncomfortable and impractical. This is the perfect form factor - so easy to hold, and the large folded out screen is amazing. Most importantly, it's a true joy to use folded as well because the screen is a perfect size. Feels great in the pocket too. So far the hinge has only creased a little so I just hope it's durable over time. If so, it's perfect. Not gone below 50% battery with moderate use on both screens, including games. Samsung, kudos. This is a game changer!

I absolutely love the Galaxy Z Fold 8. The biggest highlight for me is the form factor — having a normal phone that can instantly unfold into a mini tablet is incredibly useful. It gives you the convenience of a phone when you’re on the go, but whenever you need more screen space for browsing, reading, videos or multitasking, you can simply open it up. The design also feels very refined. Samsung has done a great job making a foldable device feel polished and practical rather than just a cool piece of technology. It’s a genuinely great everyday device and probably my favourite Fold so far.

I bought this a month ago and am so happy that I did. The battery life is incredible and easily gets me through a full day of heavy use. I am especially impressed by the screen's brightness, which makes it perfectly clear to read even outside under direct sunlight.The build quality feels premium, giving me complete confidence in its long-term durability. Additionally, the hinge mechanism is exceptionally smooth yet sturdy enough to hold its position perfectly. I really loved my Flip 3, and then I got the S24 Ultra, which had an amazing camera and was a great all-around phone, though a bit big for my pocket. Now I'm on the Fold 8, and I'm super impressed with how it folds and its slim compact size, and also Samsung does the BEST trade-in deals. The screen and battery are awesome. But, I'm really let down about the camera. For this price, I expected a telephoto lens or better optical zoom. When I tried to zoom in about 15 meters, the quality was pretty bad. Samsung team, you could've made it perfect by adding another camera or better optical sensor, making it a truly outstanding product. It's a real letdown, I feel like I have a camera from 2 years ago.

Recently upgraded from the fold 7 to 8 and can't believe it has taken this long to finally have a foldable of this size. Not too small like a flip but not too large like the folds, but a comfortable passport size phone that allows you to easily use it when its closed and fits perfect in the palm of your hands. When open give you a beautiful size for viewing videos like a wide screen TV. Perfect for gaming, viewing office documents, social media. I highly recommend if like me, you want a comfortable phone that can slip into your pocket, but also a large screen for streaming films. It's fast, smooth and simple to use. Packed full of awesome features, you really won't regret the purchase. Trust me!!!

Galaxy Fold 8 pioneers new form factor for foldable phones, which brings great experience for use when folded and large convenient keyboard and lovely multimedia experience when folded or open. Because it is very light and passport form size it is very convenient to hold or put in a pocket. The form factor will be very popular in the future. Samsung delivers again a premium innovative product, only the prices are a bit too high and it has inferior camera system compared to Fold 8 Ultra, preventing me to give full 5 stars rating.

I've had this phone for 3 days and it feels like this is the phone I should have had all along! The form factor is incredible, it's great for scrolling, videos and just general use. When you open it you've got a great sized small tablet to work with which is incredible for reading and movie streaming. This is by far the best phone I have owned. The customisation is second to none, it's super easy and intuitive to use out of the box. 10/10

I'm loving this new phone, the display is great on the front screen and really comes to life when you unfold it, the hinge/fold in the main screen is totally unnoticeable. The size of the phone i thought maybe too wide, but I was mistaken it fits great in my pockets and feels good in the hand. The battery seems great too as I've had this since Monday (now Thursday night) and have been constantly using it and setting it all up etc. I have only charged it twice. It feels very well made, responsive and only time will tell if it's durability will be enough. But so far 5 Stars from me 😍

My first fold. Unbelievable device. New form factory takes some getting used to but now when I look at a slab phone, it feels unnatural. New silicon carbon battery is a great upgrade, with all day battery life. Displays are sharp with more than enough brightness. Feels durable in the hand but would definitely recommend a front and back case of some sort. The new hinge feels sturdy and forces itself open after a certain point. The new chip make the phone extremely responsive and handles any tasks with ease. If you're tempted, just get one, you'll only regret not getting it sooner!

I saw a square form-factor phone from another brand and I was really into it, but after doing some research I found out that it wasn't powerful enough for daily tasks and the battery life wasn't that impressive either. A couple of months later, Samsung announced they were releasing a small form-factor fold phone, and I already knew this was going to be my next phone, especially with those square-cut chocolate teaser ads. And here we are: I ordered it the very next day, I've been playing with it, and I love everything about it. Thanks for this innovative design, keep innovating!

The crease is alot less noticeable compared to any foldable I have held. The hinge is smooth and firm enough that you need a bit of force to open or close the phone which is good becuase you dont want a floppy phone. It feels very strong as in durable, i wouldn't personally test dropping the phone but im confident it can survive decent heights. The battery lasts me all day and charges very fast, faster than the fold 7. The inner and outer screens are both great, i primarily use the inner screen and I'm well pleased with it. The phone is very responsive when it comes to any task.

I bought this phone about two weeks ago and so far i am so bappy with this lurse and no regrets. I don't have any negatives to say and everything is positive which I have a list below: 1. Good battery life 2. Excellent camera, I lile that it fills the whole screen when unfolded, so I can everything closely. 3. Solid build quality of hinge and screen (inside and out). 4. Nice small size when unfolded, easy to put in and out of pocket. 5. The performance is really good, it's responsive, and smooth.

Am amazed by this device it is perfect for me, as someone who had the fold a couple of years ago and loved the ideas of a folding phone, i just could not get on with the size of the device struggling to fit it into my pocket so had to move to the flip 7. The the passport size came along, yes a little larger than the flip 7, but omg the size is just perfect, the display is great and bright, battery is night and day to my old flip 7 and the hinge just feels more premium and it fis in my pocket. It's the perfect middle ground and know am going to continue to love this phone.

I’m really impressed with my new Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra. The design feels premium, and the large foldable display makes multitasking, watching videos, browsing, and getting things done so much more enjoyable. The performance is smooth and responsive, and the cameras take excellent photos with great detail and colour. I also love how versatile it is—when I need a compact phone it folds down easily, and when I want a bigger screen it opens up into a mini tablet. Overall, it feels like a big step forward in foldable technology and has quickly become one of my favourite devices.

I have been using the Z Fold 8 for a week, I have come from having the Z Foldv7 and I absolutely love the form factor, hands more manageable than the Z Fold 7. Look the cameras could be better, but it's not like I'm a professional photographer either! IP rating could be better but again I've never really exposed any of my previous founds to the elements, like sand for example. I don't think I'd ever go back to slab style phone ever again, or in particular a Z Fold 7/8 Ultra form factor!! Z Fold just fits, it's perfect!! Well done Samsung i think you finally got it right!!

I was skeptical to begin with as to the new shape having owned a z fold 5 for a couple of years. However the fold 8 is a fantastic addition to the line up, it fits so much more nicely into a pocket, and I don't feel I need to open it to take photos. The battery life so far is is tremendous, I get 2 days from a full charge. The display is crisp, bright, and the screen is as responsive as ever for a samsung device. All in all a great purchase. I even bought a second one for my wife, and recommended a colleague get one. Who subsequently has moving from iPhone in the process.

The smaller display of the front screen is a refreshing change in terms of how it fits in my hand when using it with one hand and the responsiveness of app continuity is great when changing between the two screens which is also helped by the snappy feel of the new hinge. I was at first cautious when using the inside larger screen due to older folding screens feeling delicate but the durability has been massively improved. The battery life of the phone is very comparable if not better than my previous phone, the iphone 16 plus which i got the larger size for the battery, so i dont have to be worried about using the new phone for productivity and media streaming all day and still have charge left until i go to sleep.

I'm extremely happy with my decision to get the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8. The new form factor is incredibly easy to pocket and super convenient for browsing and typing, I've found myself making significantly less typos on this than any other phone I've had in the last few years. When unfolded, the phone becomes a great YouTube and Netflix watching device and I've even found some older games I used to regularly play on my old Samsung Galaxy Note 3 run and look better then they did on phones with the now typical tall form factor. All in all, this is a great device and I'm glad Samsung took the risk of making a folding phone in the "passport" form factor. Here's hoping this becomes the new normal Fold moving forward.

Absolutely love this phone. Where do I begin? Firstly, the front display is amazing. Upon opening, the hinge feels like its durability will last the distance. Once set up, which is a breeze, both screens are extremely responsive. The longevity of the battery is looking excellent. I have had Samsung phones for many years, but this is most definitely my favorite. In short, if anyone is thinking about taking the plunge with this phone, I can only advise you to do so immediately; you will not be disappointed. Absolutely fantastic phone. Samsung just keeps getting better.

I have picked up my new Galaxy Z fold 8. Love the feel of using a smaller size phone. Fits in my pocket nicely. Not a bulky phone at all. It's so lite I don't feel like I'm carrying it around. Very easy to use. you can use the front screen for a quick look and when you are reading an email open it up to view in detail or work from there. Just a great device!

My first foldable phone, and the battery life was one of my main concerns before receiving it. However, it has been surprisingly good and lasts just as long as a traditional flagship phone. The form factor is unique and exciting, and the larger inner display is fantastic for consuming content, especially older content in a 4:3 aspect ratio. I’m also a big reader, particularly of comic books, and honestly, the larger screen alone makes this phone worth it for me. It’s also much more stable and comfortable to use when unfolded than I expected, with the hinge making the phone feel surprisingly sturdy and durable. Overall a great phone if your looking to consume alot of media on the go without the need for multiple devices.

I switched from Google Pixel to the Galaxy Fold 8. My first Samsung experience and I'm a convert. The transfer of data was practically seamless. It's taken a few days to tweak things to the way I like them, but so far so good. Probably the least stressful transfer and new phone set up I've ever had. I love reading my kindle app on this phone and working on spreadsheets when I'm on the run is so easy. The device it's self is so light and my only issue now is choosing a case that works and wont make the incredibly slim design bulky. The only downside (or thing I haven't figured out yet) is I would love an easy flick to silence the phone, but still vibrate. Hopefully that's just something this new Samsung user needs to figure out.

The phone itself is great love being able to change screens when using it and display is very good the fold hinge is very secure and can't see a crease in the screen the battery is ok don't last as long as my flip 6 did overall the phone is very responsive and smooth to use and haven't found using my apps any different And just don't by the case cover from Samsung on brand as it only covers the back of the phone and comes with front screen protection but no cover I have already dropped it and the durability of the metal phone cover is good so Samsung if your really listening can the Samsung galaxy z fold 8 case cover come with a front cover too please for full phone protection 4 stars as phone cover is rubbish for price

I Waited for the 8th version to finally buy a fold. And boy did samsung finally deliver in this version The middle ground to a flip and a bar phone was definitely the sweetspot. I'm loving the form factor and the easiness to use in one hand. I'm still not over the fact that this phone can turn into a tablet in a blink of an eye. Seems durable so far. It's been in a case since day 1. The pistachio color is beautiful. Battery life is great as well. I've gone through a day with decent usage and still had more than 40% left. Coming from a s21 I felt a great bump in brightness. Inner screen is gorgeous. Pictures and movies look amazing. I dont feel the crease at all. I've not used the previous versions so don't know the difference.

I have always had other brands of phones and when I saw the Z Fold 8 I fell in love with the size, design and the way it opens to the size of a kindle. I am a frequent traveller and always take my phone, kindle and tablet which weighs my bag down significantly. Will only need to take my phone from here on out, it is big enough to read and watch a movie on. I'm pleasantly surprised at the ease of transferring data from non samsung phones and how easy it is to use. There's help on line and in the software itself if you can't set it how you want it. It has an excellent battery life and consider it superior to all other phones i have owned. The camera picture quality and zoom are amazing!! I'm really happy with the change of phones.

I have got the s25 ultra, its absolutely amazing, honestly I was considering the 17pro max, pixel 10 pro xl, and the s25 ultra for over 3 months, and did lots of comparisons, all were good products, but by far the s25 ultra blows everything out of the water, its the king of all phones.
