I bought this particular Model as per recommended by an amazing sales lady, Ms Kar Yee Yeap at the One Utama Shopping Centre Branch on the 18th August 2024. It heats food well but you can't see the food when the door is shut despite the light being on in microwave. i would not recommend this product because of the light issue and wouldn't have bought it if I had known. I'm hoping it will last well due to having a ceramic enamel inside which was a key selling point for me.

Been using the Samsung MS23K3513AK for several weeks and it has been reliable and easy to use. Food heats evenly, the quick defrost function works well, and the ceramic interior makes cleaning simple. The design looks modern and fits nicely in my kitchen. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This item is compact and the is ideal for my needs. The microwave/oven fits in well in my kitchen giving me a bit of extra work space. The buttons are easy to use and the plate inside is of a decent size. It would take a regular dinner plate with no problem and it also helps that you don't burn your fingers when you take the plate out. I do like the idea that it is about 40% electric saving when it is on stand-by, and in this day and age everything and anything that helps with the cost of living is brilliant in my eyes. This microwave/oven is ideal for those starting off as well as the elderly who are looking to downsize in their kitchen.

Decent roomy size inside, but not too chunky on the outside making it fit on my unit perfectly. Ceramic inside makes cleaning with ease. The deodorising is one of my favourite features, especially after cooking fish with strong odours. It literally vanishes any odours after using this feature. And it also has many other preset cooking features that are brilliant to use, one press and the microwave does the rest ! My only regret, is that I didn't buy this sooner !

I do like the look of this microwave, it fits in with my kitchen and look wise a nice design. I however don't like the feel of the door, it feels very light and doesn't feel sturdy enough. I also don't like having to get the manual online, I want something that I can refer to when I want, hence I had to print off the manual which isn't very convenient. I used the melt feature for the first time today, to melt chocolate and butter, that was good. I don't leave my microwave plugged in all the time so it is a pain when I put my porridge onto the favourites setting, it seems to cancel it when the plug is pulled out. I didn't have much time to shop around for a new microwave, if I had I probably would have chosen a different one. It suits it's purpose for the little I use it but I am not over joyed with my purchase.

The memory for your favourite cooking times and power levels, such as that for your porridge, depends on the presence of electrical power because the microwave doesn't have non-volatile memory such as a hard drive, a USB drive, or an SSD. This is extremely normal for all household microwaves. To save energy without losing your Settings, you may wish to utilise the built-in ECO Mode instead of unplugging it. There’s a new wizard in my kitchen- and it’s not me... This thing is brilliant. I think we’re now friends. I won’t pretend to understand everything it can do but the oven is jealous. I spent hours trying to figure out all the codes for grilling, frying, oven’ing (haven’t explored yogurt mode yet) and then realised there’s a handy strip on the internal door breaking them down. I hate the manual. Make your life easier... just buy one.

We chose this microwave as we have other Samsung products so wanted it to fit in with what we have, it is brilliant for heating things up etc but the biggest problem is that you cant see the food inside!!! We brought this during a house renovation so unfortunately we were unable to return it as had I known that the visibility was so poor I would not have purchased in the first place.

Prospective purchasers should be aware that there is no window to allow one to see into the oven whilst cooking. This makes heating milk, for example, a hazardous process. A timer that works in increments of 30 seconds doesn't help in this respect. I'd recommend it with that caveat, as apart from that it's fine. Big blot on its copybook though.

Had the microwave for 4 months, and the power supply unit die. Thinking I can get a replacement unit, instead Samsung want to sent the unit to repair. Now I don't have a microwave unit to use at home for the week(s) while the unit is being repaired. I have paid for a microwave but now I don't have a microwave to use for unknown period of time.

It does the job but seems way underpowered compared to our last one, which was 900w but the difference is more than 10%. Also, you can only set it to increments of 30 seconds. The turntable doesn't sit properly... only two out of three wheels touch at any one time. Nothing wrong with it and I guess you get what you pay for.. and it is cheap!

I've had this model for 2yrs now and it's the best one I've ever had. Very easy to clean and doesn't develop rust inside being enamel which is why I went for this one. I love the soften/melt function when I'm baking and the deodorising after I cook fish. Very simple instructions. Highly recommend.

Great control features , perfect size with loads of space plenty of power, was available immediately and the appearance is just great, almost all my appliances and devices are now Samsung, except my car and I don't think they make them yet.

+ Good size that accommodates a dinner plate. Black colour and good finish. Works well. - Too many buttons and in the wrong place. Top left should be Microwave with timer next to it. Poor lighting.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The microwave has a sensibly sized interior, a ceramic coating making keeping it clean much simpler and easier.The microwave has a power of 800W , the same as our older microwave to the times we used to cook with are the same, no need to try cross referencing to get it correct. The door swings to the left which suits our kitchen perfectly and my wife is thrilled with it. There are a lot of new pre set options which makes defrosting, fast and accurate when you suddenly need to take something from the freezer to make or add to a meal. The size is good and the interior size is better than out old microwave so we can get bigger plates and dishes in. The blue LCD is easy to read and does not give off too much light when it is in standby whereas compared with a whiter LCD that gave off too bright a light. The Quick reference manual is well described for adjusting to the Samsung from our old make. Small details like these have made us wish we had bought a Samsung microwave before this one. We are pensioners so it is important that new products such as this are easy to read and easy to use. Thoroughly pleased and would recommend the MS23K3513AK_EU. Thank you Samsung.
