It heats food well but you can't see the food when the door is shut despite the light being on in microwave. i would not recommend this product because of the light issue and wouldn't have bought it if I had known. I'm hoping it will last well due to having a ceramic enamel inside which was a key selling point for me.

I brought this microwave a month ago and it honestly is the best microwave I've owned! The inside is ceramic, which is so easy to wipe and keep clean. There is QR code sticker on the top to bring up the User Manual so you can easily access the manual whenever you need it. There is also a quick guide printed inside the microwave worn the door is open to show times for Auto cook settings for 20 common foods, Quick defrost setting numbers for 5 common foods and Soften/Melt settings for 4 foods. Great power at 800W and a brilliant design.

Nice looking appliance. Would be fantastic if it wasn’t a health hazard. Second microwave in as many weeks that I have had to return when bought direct from Samsung. Could see right into the machine when it was running. Had to return it again, wait 10 days and then get a replacement. It’s difficult to go for weeks on end without a microwave when you have small children. If the next one doesn’t work I can safely say I won’t be purchasing anymore Samsung appliances.

Was looking for a Black Samsung microwave at first and then I realised this white with black face edition complimented my kitchen even more! Stylish, does what it says, renowned brand. I would like it to be stronger (feels like my old 800w was stronger), and would like to see what is cooking more clearly, as you see in the photo there is a decent light inside, but the mesh inside the door itself is constructed in a way that is almost impossible to see inside the microwave (if i turn off the lights in the kitchen and bend down to my eye level i can see plate on the food spinning). Other than that it's a good product which offers free extended warranty to 2yrs (when i purchased it)

Had this microwave for 3 years and all was good, all of a sudden it stopped heating. I spoke with customer services and they gave me a number for a Samsung authorised repairer but was going to cost more than a new one just to have it looked at. Really disappointing and I’d have expected it to last longer than it has as it doesn’t get a lot of use. I wish I had seen the amount of negative reviews before I purchased.

Bough this microwave in October 2024, the highlight being it was ceramic enamel and highly resistant to rust. 13 months later, November 2025, and the seam by the door has started to rust…. Samsung offered a repair, at twice the cost of purchasing new, or. 20% discount on a new one. For a product that states its rust resilient and then rusts twice as fast as a cheap model when used maybe 50 times, no thank you to either and I’ll go back to the cheap ones, at least they last twice as long as this one did. Very disappointing

The microwave has a nice clean design. Took some getting used to the new button layout, but overall happy. Worth noting the door tint it is dark, but don’t often find myself needing to watch what is cooking. The defrost function is very quick compared to our previous microwave. We bought this microwave after our 15 year old microwave door latch broke and couldn’t be fixed. Would recommend if you want a cheap and cheerful microwave with some functionality. Nice easy to check functions table on the inside of the door. Worth reading the manual to check how to properly set power and timer, some reviews sound like they haven’t read the manual.

This is a good microwave. Does what it’s meant to do with no fuss or drama. Also the cooking times on packets actually match those with the microwave so perfect cooking/heating. It’s true, you can’t see inside the oven when it’s on as the glass is too dark. But that’s no issue when following instructions on packets etc. Features I do like is the deodorising function; the ability to leave the door open and the interior light will switch itself off automatically; the enamel interior is quick and easy to keep clean. I like the fact that when it’s off and the door is shut you can switch off the time light, saving energy (albeit marginal).

It's a lot more complicated than our last one, which had just two dials - one for power and one for time. This has a load of buttons and a really poor set of instructions on how to use it. We bought this for our 88 year old mother-in-law but ended up giving her our old one with dials instead as she wasn't able to remember how to use it. We have had it now for a few weeks and we miss our old one. The auto de-frost settings are all but useless even after we went online to look at YouTube clips on how to set them. This microwave is too complicated for its own good.

I brought this a couple of months ago. To be honest I haven't really used any of the other fancy features on it so cannot comment on them. It does heat up my food and plates like I want it to. I recently contacted Samsung though because I noticed raised hard bumps on the outside of the door. If you wipe them too much they flake off and leave a white mark which isn't great on a matt black door. I've only ever wiped it clean with a damp cloth so not sure where they have come from. Anyway have to wait for Samsung to get back to me about it. For that reason and the fact I haven't tried all the features on it I am giving it a 3 star review.

I bought this a few weeks ago and didn't expect it to work this incredibly well! It heats food evenly and faster than my old microwave and it's super easy to open, the handle allows you to pull the microwave open with little effort. The design is also very beautiful, modern and sophisticated. It doesn't take up too much space but at the same time can fit a large plate inside to heat up rice or anything else. I also love the digital display for the timer; it's a very nice touch. Overall this is an excellent product which far exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend the Samsung 800W 23L Standard Microwave to anybody.

Stopped working after 3yrs 1 month. This was bought from a retail shop and it looked great with good size and simply button use. We thought we would have this for at least 7 years plus (average) but this stopped working and is unsalvageable. I checked the average lifespan for a microwave with adequate use and disappointed to see this hadn’t worked as expected. Sadly it was over the manufacturers warranty. I think this will put us of relying on Samsung as brand and will look for an alternative. It’s a shame as it did look and work the part.

I bought this to replace our long-serving De Longhi with some hesitation because of reviews relating to being unable to see the contents when cooking or being heated. I shouldn't have worried - who really stares inside to watch something cook unless carrying out scientific studies? This is an excellent product, in sleek black with an easy clean interior. One feature is the ability to rid the microwave of previous cooking smells and this works but I never experienced lingering odours on different foods anyway. This microwave cooks well, defrosts brilliantly and lights up the timing panel in neon blue. What more could you ask?

Fairly basic unit with fussy controls. Very poor quality control at the makers, a screw head on the right side panel is left protruding. and catches skin from had when cleaning. I tried to screw it in further but its thread locked and wont move, probably why the makers left it like that. Otherwise, nothing remarkable, it works. Like most users say the door glass may as well not be there, you cant see anything inside.Would be nice if it could keep the clock time for a few hours after a power cut which it doesnt. Cheap

My previous microwave died of old age and I selected this Samsung product after some pretty thorough research. I liked the features on offer and the reasonable price, so took the plunge. I am very happy with this microwave and use the defrost function frequently. The deodorisation has been handy on some occasions as well. I have yet to try some of the other features such as auto-cooking certain dishes or using the 'favourites', but I will definitely be doing so before too long. It has been easy to keep clean and I am very happy to be using buttons rather than a dial control. I recommend this microwave to you.

We have only had this microwave for a few days but so far so good. It looks very smart in our kitchen matching all the other black appliances, it has worked well on the various tasks so far and is fairly easy to use which will become second nature with time. It has some useful features which I am sure that we will get the benefit of over the years. The oven is a good size & can easily accommodate a full size dinner plate & appears to heat food evenly. The only downside that we have found so far is the poor brightness of the light inside the oven so you can not watch the progress as the food is cooking so you have to open the door & have a look. Generally a good Microwave oven & hoping for long & reliable service from it.

Firstly, I was really impressed buying direct from Samsung, I ordered this microwave on Friday afternoon and it was with me less than 24 hours later. The microwave itself looks and feels very good quality and it has some useful features, even if you don't usually use a microwave much like me, which made me chose this Samsung model over other brands in the same price bracket. It's modern, blends into the background and is really compact yet big enough to fit a full sized dinner plate inside, and the bonus is I have useable space on my worktop in-front of the microwave now! I love the eco function which means the clock display isn't on all the time, and how easy it is to use (even though I am used to a numbered digital display on my old microwave)....plus it comes with the steamer/ casserole dish too. I did a lot of microwave searching before I picked this one so I can honestly say, at around this price, it is the best one I found based on it's design, size, improved spec with the enamel interior and it's basic functions. I saw some reviews (on another retailers site) which mentioned the microwave moves when you open the door but it doesn't at all when I've tested it, so maybe that's a case of people pulling harder then they need to. I only gave 4 stars for price because I think all microwaves are considerably more expensive than they were a few years ago when you could get a budget range with a stainless steel interior but now they are all acrylic coated, so that was another good reason to choose Samsung over the rest. I've only just received it so I can't comment on it's durability but hopefully there will be no problems there, and there is a 2 year guarantee offer with Samsung right now. Overall, I'm totally happy so far.

Looked at the samsung and the panasonic alternatives but our daughter has used this samsung model for about 6 months and is satisfied with her choice. The fact that it's rated as 800w (still the general standard for most ping meals) was the decider. First impressions? User guide worse than useless but this seems par for the course with many products these days. Currently going through the "trial and error" phase so too early to judge however doesn't seem to have the facility to choose a specific time for microwave, just toggle up or down to the nearest option. Will have a look online to get more information.

First one got home to find chipped enamel coating inside. Second one replaced by currys by courier took a while but this one arrived with dents in the top of the unit. Didn’t return it this time as curry’s took ages and stock levels weren’t great. But for two problems in a row somethings not right at Samsung. The microwave it’s self is actually very good. Plenty of presets which are useful and work well, and the design is very modern. It’s a shame the sheen of a new product was worn off right away by two quality control issues.

There’s a new wizard in my kitchen- and it’s not me... This thing is brilliant. I think we’re now friends. I won’t pretend to understand everything it can do but the oven is jealous. I spent hours trying to figure out all the codes for grilling, frying, oven’ing (haven’t explored yogurt mode yet) and then realised there’s a handy strip on the internal door breaking them down. I hate the manual. Make your life easier... just buy one.

With my old microwave suddenly not working just before Christmas, I had to quickly buy a replacement that was readily available. I wanted one that was at least 800w, had digital controls, and was white (to match the kitchen decor). When I opened the box, it was black at the front - not white all over. However, the main problem I have is that despite having a light inside I cannot see through the tinted door glass. When I am heating liquids such as custard I need to make sure it doesn't boil over. Another problem I have is that I can increment the cooking time in 10 second increments. The 30 minute increments is on the start button, so the countdown has already started if I use this control.

We bought this just before Christmas to replace our old cheap microwave after 3 years. I bought a replacement online but what I bought was awful and only worked on half power, after returning that one I looked around at a similar price and saw this. I wanted a white microwave to match our other white small appliances and worried the front of this was too black but as soon as we got it out of the box I could see it was really lovely. The microwave itself is really spacious inside, probably the largest we’ve ever had - it’s pretty easy to use, although I haven’t tried more than 2 of the settings yet! I also like the setting to deodorise the unit. Seems a good microwave and would recommend!

I purchased this microwave 18 months ago; however it has developed a fault with the display where the digits are not showing completely. Upon contacting Samsung I was initially told it had a 2 year warranty, but technical support subsequently confirmed it was 12 months. Also, the heating time is very slow compared to my last Sharp which lasted 15 years. I would not recommend it.

The microwave works absolutely fine and looks good. It's a nice size, just that little bit bigger being a 23 l. The program buttons on the side will not be used in our case. The microwave is a good size. The controls are simple and intuitive to use. I particularly like the function reference table inside the door and the quick start function. Unfortunately, because the internal light is not very bright and the inside surfaces are black, you can't see into the oven to monitor whether things are boiling or not.

A good looking microwave and does the job just fine. The reason I've only given it 3 stars is because firstly the 'power saving mode' they advertised is completely fake - you can turn off the LED clock, which in reality would save such little power you wouldn't notice, and this comes back on by itself each time you use the microwave meaning you have to turn it off every single time - I may as well just turn the mains switch off at the wall. Secondly the door is not see through - it's like they've tried to make it somewhat transparent but not enough that you could see if something was boiling over or see anything meaningful. Other than this, it's a perfectly functioning microwave and is easy to use.

We just moved to the Uk and we are setting up our kitchen so i was skeptical at first about my choice of microwave, i decided to go with the Samsung 800W, 23L microwave and honestly, she was a beauty. Easy to use microwave however there are a couple of aspects which i feel might be an issue. Firstly its quite difficult to see through the mircrowave oven door when heating up food (see photo). Secondly, i feel it doesnt heat up as fast as our previous microwave which was less powerful.

Great device and does exactly what it says. The capacity is great without the overall outer size not being too large. One complaint - with the door glass being dark and the light very poor inside you are unable to see anything that is going on unless you are stood in darkened room!

I haven't used all the features yet but have been asked to give a review. The interior is spacious without being housed in a bulky case. The interior light doesn't allow you to see what's going on, so totally useless. It's necessary for the clock to be operational before using the microwave which is annoying as I don't need several kitchen appliances telling me what the time is. That said, there is an economy button which turns the display off, so presumably uses less electricity but I don't know. Not a basic idiot proof microwave, operation involves at least three stages or a pause between each setting. I wanted an 800w microwave with a large turntable and high internal dimension. This is what I got.

I bought this microwave a couple of months ago. The good features are its easy to use, and it is easy to clean. The bad features are you cannot see the food through the door (even though there is a light inside), so its all a bit of guess work, and I’m constantly having to open the door to view the food, especially drinks which are constantly spilling over.I would not recommend this microwave and I am going to buy one like my old microwave, which you can see the food cooking without the need to open the door. though it has a light insideto see inside the food / drinks

Our old 900w Sharp microwave finally gave up after years of usage, decided I wanted to downsize to a 800w as just the 2 of us and wanted a black one to fit in with my kitchen decor, read reviews on Samsung 800w 23L and decided to purchase this one especially with the ceramic interior and deodoriser which gets rid of the strong smells, well have not been disappointed since first use really pleased I went for this one, our dinner plates and microwave accessories all fit perfectly on glass turntable, hoping this will last as long as my sharp did as loving my new samsung microwave

You just cant beat samsung appliances in my opinion. This is a great microwave! It looks smart, great size and has some great features like Deodorization to clear out any smells afted heating up food and a child lock. Its easy to use. Great value.

I bought this to replace my old broken microwave and wanted a reputable brand. It looks sleek and has some good features. The glass plate is large, well set and doesn't wobble around like my old one. The ECO mode button means less energy is spent if it is left switched on at the wall because the illuminated time disappears but switched back on, it remembers the time and it appears without having to re-set it again. I am yet to try the deoderizer button after cooking something pungent but this looks like a really good feature. The instructions are basic so you have to download them to appreciate the variety of functions it has and you cannot see inside very well when something is cooking because of the door colour but that hasn't been a problem for me because I am already aware of the cooking times for the food I cook. It could cause spillages though for people not used to microwave cooking. The inside is ceramic so is easily wipeable. All in all, I am glad I bought this as the features are a big improvement on my old microwave and I trust the brand.

Great microwave, does a superb job ands it's really stylish. I like the ceramic interior, I found it easy to wipe down and to clean in general. Buttons and display are both nice and smooth. It has a sticker with quick auto programs guide, even by the weight, but it is possible to set your own weight. I love the "soften/melt" setting, I use it for all sorts and it does a great job! I haven't used a microwave this way before, so that's a huge plus for me. The defrost function also does a great job. I tried several things and it really does the job in a couple of minutes.

I bought this as an emergency purchase when my previous one broke suddenly and I can't fault it at all . It works amazingly, it makes cooking and heating up food soo easy with the different functionality and I love that it has a deodoriser function as this really helps to keep it smelling fresh after someone has put smelly foods in there such as fish. The ceramic insides make its so easy to clean and also very hygienic as food doesn't get stuck to the sides easy when something accidentally explodes lol its a great addition to my kitchen and will happily recommend this item.

Bought this as a mid priced digital controller microwave. The function is fine but the control system is very poorly designed and over complicated. Instead of simply setting time and power it has dozens of buttons doing various preset programmes. To simply use the microwave at full power you have to keep pressing one button again and again to add 30 seconds each time. This also means you have no way of setting less than 30 seconds. Unless you like making your life more complicated I would give this model a miss and go for something designed with a domestic user in mind.

I've had this model for 2yrs now and it's the best one I've ever had. Very easy to clean and doesn't develop rust inside being enamel which is why I went for this one. I love the soften/melt function when I'm baking and the deodorising after I cook fish. Very simple instructions. Highly recommend.
