Quick Defrost
The Quick Defrost function defrosts food rapidly and evenly. Its automatic defrost algorithm calculates the correct defrosting time for 5 common food types, so it takes much less time to prepare ingredients.
CERAMIC INSIDE™
The durable CERAMIC INSIDE™ is easy to keep clean and scratch-free. Its smooth surface can be cleaned without scrubbing and won’t discolour over time. It’s also highly rust and scratch-resistant, so it lasts longer.
Local Recipe
Satisfy your cravings for a taste of traditional home cooking using a wide variety of pre-programmed local recipes. You can create any of the dishes with the simple touch of a button, saving time on preparing meals.
ECO Mode
Home appliances that stay powered on every day waste a certain amount of energy without you noticing. However, the Standby Mode setting can reduce this unnecessary energy consumption(1). When you are not cooking, it turns off the microwave’s display and uses the minimum power to keep it ready to use.

Deodorisation
The Deodorisation setting forces air out of the interior cavity, so that any lingering odours are quickly dissipated. By eliminating the smell of each dish immediately your food will always taste fresh and delicious.

We're pleased to hear that the Auto Cook and Deodoriser features of your Solo Microwave are working well for you Kevin, but we’re sorry to hear that the Cook Timer is causing some confusion, and some other functions aren't reacting. We'd love to help. The Cook Time button requires you to enter the time using the number pad or up/down arrows, and then press Start. For the Defrost and Soften/Melt buttons not reacting, please ensure the door is fully latched before proceeding. The Favourites button only reacts once a favourite has been saved in the memory. Set a time and power level, then hold the Favourites button to save it. We hope this information is useful. The memory for your favourite cooking times and power levels, such as that for your porridge, depends on the presence of electrical power because the microwave doesn't have non-volatile memory such as a hard drive, a USB drive, or an SSD. This is extremely normal for all household microwaves. To save energy without losing your Settings, you may wish to utilise the built-in ECO Mode instead of unplugging it.
