It heats food well but you can't see the food when the door is shut despite the light being on in microwave. i would not recommend this product because of the light issue and wouldn't have bought it if I had known. I'm hoping it will last well due to having a ceramic enamel inside which was a key selling point for me.

Nice looking appliance. Would be fantastic if it wasn’t a health hazard. Second microwave in as many weeks that I have had to return when bought direct from Samsung. Could see right into the machine when it was running. Had to return it again, wait 10 days and then get a replacement. It’s difficult to go for weeks on end without a microwave when you have small children. If the next one doesn’t work I can safely say I won’t be purchasing anymore Samsung appliances.

Had this microwave for 3 years and all was good, all of a sudden it stopped heating. I spoke with customer services and they gave me a number for a Samsung authorised repairer but was going to cost more than a new one just to have it looked at. Really disappointing and I’d have expected it to last longer than it has as it doesn’t get a lot of use. I wish I had seen the amount of negative reviews before I purchased.

Bough this microwave in October 2024, the highlight being it was ceramic enamel and highly resistant to rust. 13 months later, November 2025, and the seam by the door has started to rust…. Samsung offered a repair, at twice the cost of purchasing new, or. 20% discount on a new one. For a product that states its rust resilient and then rusts twice as fast as a cheap model when used maybe 50 times, no thank you to either and I’ll go back to the cheap ones, at least they last twice as long as this one did. Very disappointing

Stopped working after 3yrs 1 month. This was bought from a retail shop and it looked great with good size and simply button use. We thought we would have this for at least 7 years plus (average) but this stopped working and is unsalvageable. I checked the average lifespan for a microwave with adequate use and disappointed to see this hadn’t worked as expected. Sadly it was over the manufacturers warranty. I think this will put us of relying on Samsung as brand and will look for an alternative. It’s a shame as it did look and work the part.

We have only had this microwave for a few days but so far so good. It looks very smart in our kitchen matching all the other black appliances, it has worked well on the various tasks so far and is fairly easy to use which will become second nature with time. It has some useful features which I am sure that we will get the benefit of over the years. The oven is a good size & can easily accommodate a full size dinner plate & appears to heat food evenly. The only downside that we have found so far is the poor brightness of the light inside the oven so you can not watch the progress as the food is cooking so you have to open the door & have a look. Generally a good Microwave oven & hoping for long & reliable service from it.

Firstly, I was really impressed buying direct from Samsung, I ordered this microwave on Friday afternoon and it was with me less than 24 hours later. The microwave itself looks and feels very good quality and it has some useful features, even if you don't usually use a microwave much like me, which made me chose this Samsung model over other brands in the same price bracket. It's modern, blends into the background and is really compact yet big enough to fit a full sized dinner plate inside, and the bonus is I have useable space on my worktop in-front of the microwave now! I love the eco function which means the clock display isn't on all the time, and how easy it is to use (even though I am used to a numbered digital display on my old microwave)....plus it comes with the steamer/ casserole dish too. I did a lot of microwave searching before I picked this one so I can honestly say, at around this price, it is the best one I found based on it's design, size, improved spec with the enamel interior and it's basic functions. I saw some reviews (on another retailers site) which mentioned the microwave moves when you open the door but it doesn't at all when I've tested it, so maybe that's a case of people pulling harder then they need to. I only gave 4 stars for price because I think all microwaves are considerably more expensive than they were a few years ago when you could get a budget range with a stainless steel interior but now they are all acrylic coated, so that was another good reason to choose Samsung over the rest. I've only just received it so I can't comment on it's durability but hopefully there will be no problems there, and there is a 2 year guarantee offer with Samsung right now. Overall, I'm totally happy so far.

First one got home to find chipped enamel coating inside. Second one replaced by currys by courier took a while but this one arrived with dents in the top of the unit. Didn’t return it this time as curry’s took ages and stock levels weren’t great. But for two problems in a row somethings not right at Samsung. The microwave it’s self is actually very good. Plenty of presets which are useful and work well, and the design is very modern. It’s a shame the sheen of a new product was worn off right away by two quality control issues.

I purchased this microwave 18 months ago; however it has developed a fault with the display where the digits are not showing completely. Upon contacting Samsung I was initially told it had a 2 year warranty, but technical support subsequently confirmed it was 12 months. Also, the heating time is very slow compared to my last Sharp which lasted 15 years. I would not recommend it.

I've had this model for 2yrs now and it's the best one I've ever had. Very easy to clean and doesn't develop rust inside being enamel which is why I went for this one. I love the soften/melt function when I'm baking and the deodorising after I cook fish. Very simple instructions. Highly recommend.

how can Samsung sell a microwave that you can't see the food when its cooking ???? MICROWAVE COOKING IS NOT AN EXACT PROCESS, not all food weighs exactly 200gms ( ect. ) , so it is IMPORTANT, timer cooking or not, to be able to see the cooking process through the door, this door is so black no option but to keep opening door to check,which disrupts the cooking and leaves the cook wondering what 's going on in there. I'm now very tempted to BIN IT and except losing the £100 spent only 1 month ago.

Just bought this to replace a very reliable 16 year old 800w machine and to be honest im very disappointed. yes you can quick jump 30sec increments at full power which is fine for heating quickly etc, but the jog wheel only does 5secs, why not be able to do 1second intervals when you have a dial that should be possible and surprisingly useful when heating small quantities of things. but the absolute worst thing about it is the door/screen has a 99% tint on it so you cant actually see through it. we heat milk or porridge often which can boil over really quickly, being able to see through is paramount. and its so hard to see they might as well have not bothered with the window or the internal light at all. I cant believe this product had anyone actually test it as its literally the first thing i noticed, i thought the internal light was faulty, but no, you just cant see through the window. we're going to live with it for a day or so, but probably send it back. the rest of it seems fine, but being able to see what you're cooking is a bit of a dealbraker.

I do like the look of this microwave, it fits in with my kitchen and look wise a nice design. I however don't like the feel of the door, it feels very light and doesn't feel sturdy enough. I also don't like having to get the manual online, I want something that I can refer to when I want, hence I had to print off the manual which isn't very convenient. I used the melt feature for the first time today, to melt chocolate and butter, that was good. I don't leave my microwave plugged in all the time so it is a pain when I put my porridge onto the favourites setting, it seems to cancel it when the plug is pulled out. I didn't have much time to shop around for a new microwave, if I had I probably would have chosen a different one. It suits it's purpose for the little I use it but I am not over joyed with my purchase.

For the most part I worked out all the controls straight away, but the time and the bleep took some finding. The quick start notes should have this information clearly printed, I believe. The other long drawn out procedure was the registration to get the warranty! It took ages to set up. Apart from these little problems, the microwave is great and the ceramic inside surfaces are so easy to clean. I hope it continues to work for a long time.

Microwave is well made and easy to use. This one is 23 litres and also has a steam bowl with a function to steam vegetables. The functions are easy to use and the oven is easy to clean. When the microwave is operating it isn't possible to see through the smoked glass door but we found that we were experienced enough with using our old microwave that we didn't need to see through the door anyway!

Really pleased with this new microwave. Easy to use and keep clean. Larger capacity than my old microwave yet takes up the same space on the work top. Prospective purchasers should be aware that there is no window to allow one to see into the oven whilst cooking. This makes heating milk, for example, a hazardous process. A timer that works in increments of 30 seconds doesn't help in this respect. I'd recommend it with that caveat, as apart from that it's fine. Big blot on its copybook though.

It does the job but seems way underpowered compared to our last one, which was 900w but the difference is more than 10%. Also, you can only set it to increments of 30 seconds. The turntable doesn't sit properly... only two out of three wheels touch at any one time. Nothing wrong with it and I guess you get what you pay for.. and it is cheap!
