Last Update date : Oct 02. 2020

Applications

To make the most of your device's internal storage capacity, you can uninstall or turn off applications you don't use. Downloaded applications can be uninstalled, and preloaded applications can be turned off.

Note: Screens and settings available may vary by wireless service provider and software version.

Disable Preloaded Applications

Note: If an application or updates are uninstalled, you will need to download the application or apply any updates again via Google Play™ store, Galaxy Apps, or the Amazon™ Appstore once you turn on the application.

From the Apps menu, you can turn off preloaded applications. Once turned off, the application will be hidden and will not be accessible until it is turned on.

1. From the Home screen, touch Apps 1.

2. Touch EDIT at the top of the screen.

3. Touch 1 next to the application you want to turn off.

Note: To turn off an application in a folder, touch the folder and choose Open folder. You can then turn off the application. You can also choose Remove folder to delete the folder. Any application in the folder you delete will return to the Apps menu.

4. A message may warn you about turning off the application. Touch DISABLE to proceed.
