What is blocking mode and how do I use it on my Samsung Galaxy S5?
Last updated: 29 April, 2014
Blocking mode lets you disable incoming calls (except for those on the allowed list), notifications, alarms and the LED indicator.
To turn on the Blocking mode feature, from the Home screen touch Apps > Settings > Blocking mode . Touch the switch to turn blocking mode on . Place a check mark next to the features you would like to disable. Choose from Block incoming calls, Turn off notifications, and Turn off alarm and timer.
Set the time frame in which you would like blocking mode to be active or select Always to keep it on constantly. To receive
notifications from some contacts select Allowed contacts and then select Custom to add specific contacts to the Alloweed contacts list.
