I received this washer dryer from Samsung for product testing purposes. Its large capacity is great for family loads. Its easy to use My 13 year old can put it on. The digital display is great for saying how long the wash or wash and dry will take and also how long until the cycle ends No worries if you do a hot wash then a more delicate as the machine has a default setting which it returns to after each wash. It even has a 15 minute quick wash for those times when you only need a quick wash. It also turns itself off as a power saving mode. You can also delay the start time so it washes when you want it to without needing it plugged into a timer It has a hygiene steam mode for those smelly items, sport kit, dog blankets.

Having had a Samsung washer dryer before and loving it, I'd say that this one is even better. The functions such as mixed load and 40/60c cycle make life easy, meaning if I have a few synthetic items, I don't have to put on a second load. Prior to moving house, I have always had a separate tumble dryer and missed it terribly, however this is no longer the case. The drying sensor on this machine is spot on - clothes, towels and bedding have come out perfectly clean and dry. Being able to add a bubble soak for those washes that need a little extra stain lifting power is a godsend. Quick wash and dry in under an hour is a huge bonus over my last machine, find this really useful for my partner's uniform. If I was to nitpick, it is a deeper machine what with having a 9kg drum so it sticks out past my standard depth units and worktop, the extra capacity mean less washes per week as a extra plus point, we can now wash and dry a superking size duvet cover, sheet, pillowcases and a small bedspread in one wash. The display screen isn't all singing and dancing like the top of the range models but it does the job adequately, being clear and easy to understand. Would definitely recommend to anyone but especially families, the extra capacity alone makes this a must have.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this washer dryer from Samsung for product testing purposes however that does not sway my opinion of my experience of this product. At 54 dB, this machine is insanely quiet! Sitting in the kitchen with the machine on is no longer an issue compared to my old one, I had guests round and the machine was on, and in fact they didn't initially notice that the machine was in the middle of a cycle. I've uploaded a video, which actually does not do it justice of how quiet the machine is, since microphones are more sensitive than human ears. There are so many different cycles to use, and the wash quality is excellent, the clothes are not too wet, the smell eradicated, stains removed. The control screen is easy to use and intuitive - which is important so everyone in the family can use the machine It would have been nice to have a higher energy rating, but I found that the biggest drawback for me was the smart app; since that is not really an integral part of the product, it would be unfair to allow that to affect the rating. A lot of Samsung products are compatible with SmartThings in addition to other IoT products, but for some bizarre reason this washer dryer uses its own Samsung Washer Dryer App. The app it self also requires many permissions and won't even open if you deny them. I really hope that Samsung can allow their machines to be used with SmartThings.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this washer dryer from Samsung for product testing purposes. This is a very nice looking machine with a quality feel about it. I have tried a variety of different cycles, though long term I suspect I will mainly stick to the 'mixed load' one as it is only 1hr 6 mins in length and does a good job of cleaning our clothes. My house has 4 adults but we all work in office type environments (outside lockdown) so none of it is heavily soiled. One function I did like was the Bubble Soak. I had a food stained shirt which had refused to come clean after 2 previous washes in my old machine so I tried it in this one using the Bubble Soak option with a little stain remover and it came out perfectly. I tried the drying function twice, once for towels and once for bedding. Both times I set it to dry for putting away in a cupboard. This is a function I used to avoid on my old machine due to the long run times and lack of total drying on the times I did try it out. I can confirm that the Samsung did at least dry the items although one of the larger towels was still very slightly damp in the middle. The bedding was totally dry but it was heavily creased. So much so my wife thinks the creases may never come out. Drying cycles are on a par with other machines with a cupboard dry adding 5 hours to the wash time. The controls are pretty obvious without needing to read the user guide too much and are easy to use. The load capacity at 9kg is excellent. It only beats my old one by 1kg but it actually seems a lot more. The user manual is quite good and informs without going too technical. My only gripe with it is that some of the diagrams are quite small, especially the ones regarding the drawer to put detergent, softener and pre-wash. One final thing. The machine plays a short tune when you switch it on/off and a slightly longer one at the end of the wash/dry cycle. This may well turn out to be annoying after a while but fortunately you can turn it off. Overall an excellent machine.

Imagine having the function of washing machine and dryer in one machine, it saved a lot of space and the price is good. It has a lot of washing functions such as for delicates, wools, colours, towels etc and there’s even an option for a cloudy day with a powerful spin for this rainy winter season. The only disadvantage from this is since you wash and dry in one machine, you cannot use the washer and dryer at the same time unlike when you have a separate washer and dryer. Overall, we love this machine and we’re really happy with this. Hoping this would last more than a decade just like the other Samsung washing machines that we had before.

Very disappointing. Bought this 3 months ago and it leaves a lot to be desired. The self cleaning drawer is not really self cleaning. I have to take it out from time to time and rinse it thoroughly from any residue. The drying mechanism is very rigid, it won’t let you adjust drying temperature. The clothes come out smelling burnt. The smart things app is just too simple. It won’t let you turn on the washing remotely. You still have to press the button on the machine. What’s more, if the door is locked for some reason, the app won’t inform you what the reason is. Not satisfied at all.

Started smelling from the 5th minutes of washing. On website Samsung said the smell can go away after 2 washes. I did 7 washes, 4 days passed, the smell is still here. 2nd. It leaks. Small amount of water 200-300 wiped every morning even when machine was not used...

Faulty machine. Only 3 years old and has been ripping/shredding clothes since a few months old. Parts of clothes are continually being ripped and end up in the filter which then results in error codes for blocked filter and washing not being completed.

Big drum with lots of room. Very quiet. Really easy to use. One thing to be aware of: Because of the big drum, the unit is deeper than previous machine. That works ok for me but, if you’ve space issues, do measure first. Oh, and it plays a tune when it’s finished a cycle. An unexpectedly long tune. The manual says you can turn it off but it seems like that has to be repeated each time you power on (maybe there’s something I’m missing, though).

It doesn't recalibrate if you don't follow recommended weight for the washing setting! Very disappointed! I noticed this when I put 7kg using Quick 15 setting. This made me question AI - which is supposed simply add more water if weight is larger than 2kg...YES, I'm not reasonable putting 7kg! But I'm over washing for 1 over! I want it done in 18. That's clean enough! Otherwise, it's an amazing machine. It looks amazing and works amazing! Thank You Samsung

Love and use probably all the features, Bubblewash is my favorite! we been through a lot together including when I rented my place to 5 wild people, and this warrior of a machine survived and it is still working wonders. Had to call service before and the service was excellent both times. Quick, easy and sorted on the spot! I had my clothes washed in other machines before, but nothing compares....haha

AI Technology works wonders for me, recommending what type of wash due to live weather conditions is a great feature, also tracking your wash while on the the go via Smart Things App. Only downfall for me was we couldn't find out how to power on/off through smart things app which allowed me to manually turn it off/on. Well Done Samsung.

So far so good, however doesn't offer a half load wash, but not a problem as I never wash small amounts. Instructions that came with washer weren't very self explanatory and had to go online to find out what all the various functions did and how to use them. I have had a Samsung washer before so roughly knew how it works. Wasn't impressed by the delivery men who wouldn't unwrap it for us to check and were curt bordering on rude. Also supposed to be under warranty for 5 years and finding it difficult to register online, which makes me wonder if we will have a similar issue to book a repair. Think I will just go to a store to purchase one physically next time. As far as the washer goes, I was happy with performance of my last one so hopefully will be satisfied with this one.

I bought this machine one month ago and already breakdown and now Samsung is refuging the repair the damage door seal. this is unacceptable manufacturing defect is not my problem. Made a mistake buying Samsung washing machine, my previous LG washing machine didn't have any issue for last 12 years. I only upgrade the machine for better technology.. but its a big mistake. Guys go for LG better build quality and good service warranty. (S/N: 0W4P5ABRB00134M DOP:1 JUN / DD 4 JUN) breakdown on 2nd load.

I bought this Brand new online. After using the washer dryer for less than a dozen wash, noticed water leaking from the front door. Called the Samsung Support spent more than 40 min over the phone. After a lengthy call the Samsung Support helped me discover a slight tear in the front door rubber seal. After 2 days Samsung Support came back saying its not supported under warranty. Just want to warn other Australian buyers there seems to be a Samsung design or faulty rubber seal flaw.

It takes about 7 hours to do a full wash and dry, it is a long time, clothes come out really clean and feel soft so I feel like the time it takes is worth it. Will happily look at getting other Samsung home appliances if they are all as good as this one.

Love this washing machine. For the longest time I wanted a Washer Dryer Combo machine. They are a great for my lifestyle and this model fits in well with my setup! I have purchased this washing machine more than 2 years (pre COVID) and it has served me and my 80yo mom well so far! I have hooked up to the Google Home system and it definitely helps with our daily routines! I tend to use the Dry setting regularly + Finish Time setting. So now I can finally have washed + dry clothes when I get clothes ready to be packed away. The dryer function really dries the fabric same as a loose standing dryer does, it’s absolutely amazing! Note: Washer Dryer Combos are not really suitable for large families, but if you single + one other and in an apartment and space is at a premium I would highly recommend this washing machine!

I received this washer dryer from Samsung for product testing purposes. An easy to use machine, that looks the part and is so quiet. Features like 15 minute wash are very handy. Large loads are a breeze and come out clean, smelling good and dry, I used to have to partially air dry using other washer dryers over the years. I've already recommended this machine to my mother as its easy to use with the dial and screen showing all the relevant info.

Just after a weeks I bought it, turn out it was sold with a factory fault. It leaks water when you run drum cleaning feature and you do not get to run it before the first 40 washes done. So you won't get it replaced if you do not run drum cleaning within the 15 days of purchased. And Samsung Gulf is not even replacing it. The brand do not have the global service quality in the region. Samsung will come with headache if you purchase it in the Region.

I just bought this machine and I was under the impression it had automatic dispenser, it doesn’t… As well when using the SmartThings application you can just send a program to the machine and you still need to go and press on the laundry machine to activate it. Now I regret this purchase as I thought it was “smart” am sure they have the technology to make the machine work from a distance.

I bought the graphite model and I love the new look in my kitchen. Written instruction manual is a huge bonus when so many manufacturers only have online support available. It's similar to my old Samsung washer/dryer so was easy to start using. Curry's installation team were proficient and speedy. I'm excited that I have done my first wash just over an hour from installation!

You get what you paid for, yes it washes and dries but you cant adjust the dryer temperature or have it air instead of dry. Also be ready to clean the washer door and seal regularly of lint as there is no lint filter. Samsung says it is “effectively” removed during washing but that’s a lie, I have to Vacuum the seal after every dry cycle.

Instructions are not helpful and adviser on chat told me the cotton wash does not use high level water so it would be better to use a different programme!!!!

Terrible performance for drying laundry - even with only 5 cotton items in of a reasonable size and on the correct drying setting it's taken 90m and they are still not completely dry, the same applies on a synthetic setting - everything comes out feeling damp no matter how long the cycle or how many times it's repeated.

The rubber seal tore ever so slightly (after3-4 months), now the is a leak via the main door (not covered under warranty). Lots of people are experiencing the same issue online but samsung passing the cost onto customers rather than taking responsibility for using such cheap rubber seal on an expensive washing machine.

Nice looking machine but dry cycle performance is poor, not to mention the dry cycle getting stuck in a loop at 1min remaining. Evem a tumed 60min drying cycle will extend out to 75 or 90min. That and the add garment door endlessly leaking whem a bit of lint ends up in the seals mid cycle.

After 4 years the drum has become loose I suspect the bearings have gone as it is not turning, surely the bearings should last a lot longer than especially as the machine has not been over used. And of course this has happened after warranty has expired

I bought it almost a year ago, and apparently a piece of kids underwear that went trough a filter damage the whole motherboard board so not worth it, they are made of paper
