Shape Correction is a feature on Samsung devices that allows you to take wide angle photos without distortion at the edges of the photo. When you take a wide angle photo often the picture will look as though it has a curved angle at the edges.
You can use the Shape Correction option to correct face shape when wide angle selfie mode has been turned on. Shape Correction option corrects face distorted at the edges dynamically according to angles and distance from the center.

Please note the following when using this option:

● Minor image distortion may occur in wide-angle photos especially at the edges of the preview screen due to the properties of the lens used to take a wider screen image.

● After Shape Correction, the background may appear slightly distorted since the correction algorithm is applied to the overall image. If you don't want this, you can deactivate Shape Correction.

To correct the distortion in photos taken with the Ultra-wide lens, please follow the steps below:

1 On the Apps screen tap Camera and select the 'Settings' icon at top left corner.
2 Tap 'Save options', toggle on 'Ultra wide shape correction' and 'Selfie shape correction' to turn On or Off

Please note, you will need to turn on the wild angle selfie camera setting to be able to turn on 'Selfie shape correction'.
