This is my third Samsung OLED, I also own a G and F series, Samsung continues to improve their already exceptional OLED line of televisions with the H series. Picture quality is mind blowing with a brightness that looks superb in even a well lit room. During setup the tv prompts you to sign into your samsung account and port your settings from the other TVs, this is an incredible time saver and takes the hassle out of setting up a new TV. There are also improvements to the picture and sound settings that leverage AI. If you are on the fence about upgrading , once you have a Samsung OLED you will wish you had done it sooner.

Starting with the bad: -Tizen OS is bloated with ads.... Terribly.... -Can lag sometimes when using other apps, then accessing settings -OS can be inconvenient to use at times (lag, item locations, features, etc.) -remote feels cheap, scratches easily -Did i mention "too many ads" or no? -way too much/over use of AI -does not work too well with Miracast with Windows 11 The good: -Crisp image -pixel refresh feature -good brightness -good range of apps -lightweight -good remote (usability, not quality) -thin design -Works well with other Samsung products (obviously) -Pure blacks colors -great features to tune in color to your liking -set up features for apps are great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Samsung Q90F tv is a high quality performing tv with fantastic picture. Crystal clear from almost any angle. Very easy to set up with so many apps already installed to choice from. Navigating with the remote is easy and intuitive. Samsung really made it easy to enjoy all that this tv has to offer. Setting up the picture with the different picture modes really helps dial in how you like to watch tv. The warm tones are warm, bright colors are vivid, blacks are actually black. This is a great tv with multiple options to tune your viewing pleasure just like you want in. I would definitely recommend the Samsung S90F. You can’t go wrong!

We previously purchased a 55" Samsung TV 12 years ago. This TV was exceptional for those 12 years, but we decided to upgrade to a 65" OLED and stick to Samsung as we had not had any problems with the last Samsung TV. We have only had the 65" OLED S85H for 2 weeks and we are very happy with it. The set up was straight forward. The picture quality is excellent, the TV is very responsive from the inputs with the remote. The quality of the picture is the same on all channels and streams. We were surprised with the amount of TV content on Samsung TV Plus...this was an extra bonus for us.

First booting up the TV, I was already stunned by how good it looked with its deep blacks and vibrant colors. Watching my favorite anime shows on it has been a breeze, and I have been very happy to see high-octane action scenes play out in such a grand picture. The interface itself is also speedy and responsive, i do like the fact that the remote has solar cells too so if i leave near my window it will stay charged or at least allow itself to not die as often otherwise. But super happy with this TV. This is my 2nd Samsung TV I have owned, and I can say they don't disappoint.

Lifting the packing sheet draped over my new TV I notice the screen didnt appear level. Just the protective film I thought. Off it came and sure enough ... no difference. My screen is all wibbly wobbly with a big wave in the middle. Its doesnt affect viewing qaulity much, but in a bright room and TV off or showing a dark scene, it looks terrible. Checking online, I see other people complaining of the same thing. And Tizen UI is meh. Coming from a Sony Google TV, Tizen just makes it hard to get to what you want to in settings and features hide in sub menus you would not expect to find them in. Upsclaing of lower res TV broadcats is also not good. The screen just looks gritty. The old Sony LED did a way better job.

This TV looks great in my living room above my mantle. It's very thin and was easy to mount, once we got the right hardware. We also paired this with our Samsung Music Studio 7 Speaker. You can also utilize the Q-symphony feature to get a more immersive sound between the TV and speaker. I love how vibrant and crisp the picture is. The colors are bright and more photorealistic. I can also see the TV much better because of the brightness and the anti-glare features of this TV. Watching TV when it's bright out or when we have the overhead lights on at night is no longer a problem. The TV is also equipped with many apps, so there's no need to add on a streaming device. I find the software to be more user-friendly and smoother than older iterations.

Let me just start by saying the picture quality on this tv is amazing! The colors are so vibrant and the black is so black. We did have to turn up the brightness but that could just be personal preference. I am not a gamer but my husband hooked up his PS4 and even with the old system, the colors were bright and vibrant. As far as the sound goes, it’s fine. Not bad, not great. Typical built in speakers. Setup was really quick and easy. The remote is small with less buttons than we are used to but I’m not sure that’s a bad thing. We originally had the tv turning on when it detected motion. Sounded cool. Ours is in too high of a traffic area for this feature. I did smoke this morning when I walked into the room and saw good morning on the pretty screen.

This TV has been fantastic to watch content on. Picture quality is very sharp and clear. The inky blacks and deep colors make a very good viewing experience. The setup was a breeze, you can use Samsung smart things app to finish the entire thing. As soon as the setup finished, the TV quickly updated to the latest firmware. When watching HDR content, the display truly shines. The Vision AI companion button is helpful in getting some insights on the content playing on the screen or anything in general. The speakers on the TV are surprisingly good with dolby atmos. Tizen tv OS is very easy to navigate and looks elegant. If you have more Samsung devices, its easy to share content between the devices and the TV. This is such a fun and nice product to have at home.

Screen resolution is not as good as previous Samsung TV (8K that died after 4 yrs) and has some glare issues, should have bought glare-free version. This model is okay but now trying to get it wall mounted. Didn't connect free Music Studio 7, due to being required to use phone app, not the only one to watch TV in household.

Hi Golgal, Thank you for choosing Samsung again and for sharing your feedback. We understand that it can be disappointing when a new TV doesn't meet our expectations. We'd like to note that you are comparing two different TV technologies and pictures. While the S85H is a premium, OLED television, 8K TVs are inherently different. Since we strive to provide the best experience possible, we'd like to share some picture adjustments you can make that will hopefully improve your sentiments on your TV's image: First, make sure your TV is up to date. Firmware updates often include picture quality enhancements. To check for the latest version, go to: Home > Top directional button > Settings > Support > Software Update > Update Now Next, explore available Picture Modes under: Settings > All Settings > Picture > Picture Mode Each mode is tailored to a different viewing style: • Standard – Balanced settings for everyday use • Dynamic – Brighter and sharper for brightly lit rooms • Movie – Softer tones ideal for low-light viewing • Eco – Reduces power consumption by adjusting brightness • Filmmaker Mode – Preserves the creator’s original color, contrast, and motion settings You can also customize the image further under: Settings > All Settings > Picture > Expert Settings, where you’ll find detailed controls for Brightness & Contrast, Color & Tint, Sharpness, and more. If you’d like help fine-tuning your display or exploring these settings, please call Samsung Customer Support at 1-800-SAMSUNG (8AM – 9PM EST Mon – Fri, 8AM – 6PM Sat, Closed Sun), or visit the ‘Support’ section on our website to LiveChat with an agent. – Samsung Ambassador

When I turn on the TV, no matter what I will watch I know it will be stunning and rich in color. I'm completely immersed watching movies and shows. This is next level, the screen is pretty thin so it looks sleek in the living room. No matter the light coming through the windows the brightness holds up beautifully. Samsung products are of great and amazing quality. The picture quality is stunning, and not much glare. This was a great purchase.

The default brightness is set to 100% and hence is too bright and need to adjust and set lower. The contrast and resolution is better than my 7 years old tv that i replaced. The down side is my old vcd player no longet can connect to the new tv as it only support hdmi and old technology is obselete. The new tv is also bigger than the old one and hence bettet viewing experience and colour is good as the resolution is higher.

TV installed 5 days ago replacing a competitor brand which was 7 years old. Absolutely delighted with all aspects of this Samsung! Picture and reduced reflection screen 100% improvement. Sound through existing 7 year old Sonos so much better than last TV, Sound bar seems to have ‘come alive’. The remote and Samsung controls are so intuitive that I have not felt the need for any instruction manual at all.

Upgraded my high end tv from 2016 to this gorgeous tv. Is had a high refresh rate, bright colors and fast response time. It does great with local dimming with very little light blooming on black backgrounds. I found the tv to have great speed with switching between apps and resuming content. It’s very thin and light weight. I would highly recommend getting this tv. Samsung knocks it out of the park again

I upgraded from an LED TV to this and the difference is remarkable. The depth and contrast in the picture nearly looks 3D. The colours are rich. A friend who also bought an OLED TV (not Samsung) and they are jealous of the vibrant colours. Highly responsive. All apps are available and the TV is SO thin! Remote is super easy to use. It has totally changed our viewing experience, all for the better.

Obviously, the picture quality is beautiful, but it’s the overall experience that makes this TV perfect. The customization is incredible, and the Samsung-exclusive content is such a massive perk for finding great stuff to watch (even if you aren't typically a brand loyalist). Plus, can we talk about how thoughtful the solar-powered remote is? No more hunting for batteries. 10/10.

I recently upgraded to the **55" Samsung OLED S90H 4K Vision AI Smart TV (2026)**, and I'm so glad I did. The picture quality is incredible—the OLED display produces rich, vibrant colours, deep blacks, and amazing detail that make everything from movies to travel documentaries look stunning. The sound quality is a huge improvement over my previous TV, with clear dialogue and surprisingly immersive audio that fills the room without needing extra speakers. The 55-inch size is absolutely perfect for my granny flat. It's large enough to create a real cinema experience without overwhelming the space. In fact, I don't call it a granny flat—I call it **J's Palace**, because I'm no-one's granny! 😊 Overall, I'm extremely happy with this purchase. Beautiful picture, excellent sound, smart features that are easy to use, and the perfect size. If you're looking for a premium TV, I highly recommend the Samsung S90H.

A ‘made for UK’ TV that doesn’t support iPlayer or any BBC app. The app of the national broadcaster and the one for which we pay a licence fee. Apparently the issue is months old with no resolution. This wouldn’t happen with the apps that have paid to have buttons on the remote control such as Netflix. Samsung need to be upfront about this issue. TV is being returned.

The very first thing my 6 year old said when he saw the tv was, “wow, the colors!” And he was so right! During setup, there was some calm music in the background of the tv which made the setup experience so nice. Super easy to setup an account and connect streaming apps. The tv found my internet so much quicker than past tvs and I had no issue connecting to my network. The remote, let me tell you about that! I am in love with this remote too! I have had remotes that are bulky, small, difficult to use, have the mic option and dont work but this remote but this remote is sleek, the mic option actually works, the buttons don’t lag. My children’s frustration with our past tvs/remotes was that the remotes always lagged / skipped over what they wanted to select so this is wonderful. I am loving this Samsung 55-Inch S85H OLED and I cannot wait to have movie nights over the summer and fully experience all of the colors ◡̈

I’ve been really impressed with this TV so far. Setup was honestly one of the easiest I’ve dealt with, everything walks you through step by step, and the QR codes made adding streaming services quick and painless. A couple things stood out right away. The solar-powered remote is a nice touch, especially not having to think about batteries. I also ended up liking the Daily Board feature more than I expected. It shows weather and headlines when the TV is off and turns on with motion. I was a little concerned using it in a bedroom, but it hasn’t been an issue at all. Picture quality is where I was most skeptical. I’ve used other OLED brands for years, so I wasn’t sure how this would compare. But honestly, it holds up. The picture is crisp, colors look great, and it feels like a true OLED experience. Sound is better than expected too, I’m not using a soundbar and it still sounds solid. Overall, I’d definitely recommend it. It feels like Samsung is right there competing with the top OLED brands now, and I’d seriously consider them again next time.

It was the picture quality that sold us on OLED. Incredible contrast and colour detail. The remote can be fiddly to use as it is quite small, but overall we are very happy with the quality of the unit.
