After so much hype zbout the new watch 4, I am rather disappointed with the allegedly 40hr of battery life. With all apps off I only managed 24 hrs after charging the battery daily from 20% To 100% to see if I could excite the battery into life. The rest of the futures are everything Samsung make them to be.

Overall watch is ok, but: . Not recomended Black colour - anything get hit its comes the scratch. If you planning to buy, choose silver! The bad thing is the battery it holds less than 40hours. You need charge the watch every day. So I you can get constantly tracking, even sleeping. If you need take it off and charge it. I had previous version Galaxy watch and holds easy 3 days. Perhaps for some pepole this is not the issuse like apple watch which you need charge every day. But for me this I prefer have less things in the watch but stronger battery. This charging is so anoying, so at the end I prefer different watch. Not happy with the purchase.

Loved everything about this watch, especially the rotating bezel, for the entire 15 months that it worked. Yep, worked perfectly until part way through the day just after 15 months of ownership the screen turned orange. I returned it to the shop I bought it from and they sent it off to Samsung for accessment. A week later, I get told - not under warranty, bill to fix slightly less than original purchase price. Invoking Consumer Guarantee Act and waiting for a response. Do Samsung support their products? I'll let you know here. At the moment, one star, as it should have lasted a lot longer than this.

I was bought this as a replacement for my fitbit. Sadly this although a lovely looking watch and comfortable needs charging almost daily and I have turned off as many zapping features as possible. Such a massive disappointment. Also with the larger watch strap it only just fits me so I imagine this is an issue with men. It is easy to navigate and does what it says but I really wish my husband had not wasted his money. Its very expensive for something I need to charge more often that my phone.

Update on my previous review. I claimed cover under Consumer Guarantees Act and the watch was repaired with no argument. It did annoy me that I had to ask for it. It was obvious that the problem was a failure of some sort after only 15 months so the repair should have been automatic. Interesting that when I was expected to pay, the battery was going to be replaced. However when Samsung repaired it at their cost, the battery didn't get replaced.

I waited months for this watch coming out and it's awful. 6 days now & cellur still isn't working, although EE have set it up the watch isn't connected. And the battery life... absolutely shocking you're lucky if it gets you till the end of the day with moderate use... genuinly so shocking. Originally ordered the 44mm but due to there being next to no flex in the strap I had to send it back and get the smaller one.

I purchased this product with a data plan with o2. The watch looks great and initial play with it was fabulous. However, the watch battery does not last a night (to monitor sleep) and also does not last a 5 mile run. The watch also overheats constantly. Ive now sent mine back. I love samsung products ( i have s21 and had numerous previously) and can accept some issues given its a new product but its not fit for purpose.

Very expensive toy. I purchased because of the ECG feature, approximately 300 times it has counted down to the last few seconds then reset to 30, 792 recordings have registered on the app. of which 532 are poor recording and 131 are inconclusive. I have 28 A-fib and 101 sinus rhythm so a total of 129 actually recorded is way below expectations. Extremely poor gimmick to add so they can ask premium prices.

Great looking, feeling watch. But the fitness features are very suspect in accuracy, comparing to two other fitness trackers, the Samsung data is way off the other two. Battery life is terrible, but meets expectation on description. Can be uncomfortable when doing workouts, with the metal buttons on the side of the watch....but on the flip side looks great. Good apps, watchfaces and features overall.

Terrible investment. Battery life is 10 hours max. I leave my house at 4am and by 11am I'm on 44% .shocking how they can change so much for a really badly powered watch. My last smart watch I could do 100k steps in a day...honestly, on this watch I'd you would be lucky to do 15k steps before it goes dead Really am disappointed with this product. I saved up for months for this...crap

I brought a Samsung watch 4 classic the first one come it started to work but wouldn't show battery life after two weeks and the watch was fault so rang Samsung and they replaced it with a new all working good the battery gives me 2days and 17hours before it need charging it again great customer service had the second watch by the 12 of November thank you Samsung

I upgraded by old 46mm to the new Samsung Watch 4. Great watch but the battery power does not last me overnight, I can go to bed will full charge and in the morning its down to 9%, that with power saving on and hardly anything working. Great watch nice features but I wish I had stuck with my old watch, was not worth the money.

Love it. Terrible battery life. You CAN have two days life, as long as you don't do anything with it other than check the time. I use it for the gym and running and it will just make it 48 hours. If I have everything turned off and battery saver on. If you use always on display it's a daily charger

Great value watch with most (no ECG in NZ) apps available. Round face looks much better than square face and ridge/ dial around face is great extra protection. Just wish Medsafe would approve use of ECG in NZ so can use full capabilities of watch and watch my health better.

The inteded purpose for this watch is to monitor the activity day & night, but how can one do that if the watch needs to be charged every 5-6 hours? it was a Christmass present which dissapointed in the worse way. I have to return it, can`t be used. Really dissapointed!

I would love to rate this watch higher. Loverly watch, beautiful design and display. But the battery estimate is 1Day and 5Hours. And 1Day 12Hours with Powesave on. My old Samsung galaxy watch 1st gen lasted at least 2 days.

FITNESS PEOPLE READ ON.. Galaxy Watch 4 Classic 46mm real review. Owned since release date. "I did!!! absolutely love the watch, was purchased with the intention of harnessing it's exercise and other fitness capabilities, awesome as a phone, even had it connected to my mobile plan. While exercising the first issue (ongoing) was the heart rate sensor stops tracking my heart rate mid workout. Have remedied extensively to try keep it connected to that important beat, this has proven unsuccessful. All recommendations have been tried, even wearing it upside down, which is dangerous while riding as you have to flip your palm. Anyway it's an issue that makes me regret the purchase. I run, walk, cycle. My main aim it long distance running, 2 milestones as a beginner are 5km and then 10km. Tonight I set out for the 10km goal and at 8 k I loon down, think yes I'll smash it.. then the watch goes mental, overheated and went into cooling mode. This lost all the data I was recording and not only that it terminated my 10km run entirely. I want my money back. Samsung watch 4 classic 46mm....

The watch had an empty battery upon opening. I had concerns that it was a dead battery, so after a quick check online, I went to charging it till it reached full. Went through process of moving from an s3 Frontier to this model, which only allowed a few items to transfer as they are different watch Operation Systems. After a watch update, the battery seemed to drain quite quickly. I put this to having switched off wifi which meant the watch was updating via bluetooth. After reviewing the settings (wifi on, location off), there was one final watch update and after this update, I found the performance of the watch to be great (almost 3 day battery life with Wifi on, location off, NFC on). Also excited about finally getting to use Google Pay from watch. A bit tricky at first, as you need to open the app before each payment (unlike my phone, which just needs to be on), and the watch needs to be at an almost perfect spot, but after some practice, It is working really well. I am also enjoying google assistant on the watch which was tricky to get going (and I thought it was not going to work) but after using some guides online, I was able to get it up and running. I gave this 4 out of 5 stars as the expectation of the watch to be running out of the box was not met. I choose this model as it had the physical bezel and was value for money. +Battery life +Physical Dial +Google Pay +Google Assistant -Initial setup
