NOT COMPATIBLE WITH ANY HUAWEI PHONE Great looking watch with excellent specifications. The requirements are Android 6+, Google Play Services and Google Mobile Services, and No Android Go. This was a lovely christmas gift, but unfortunately this watch doesn't work with my phone (Huawei p20 pro). This was not obvious on other reviews, or in the fine print on retail stores I'd looked at when researching what smart watch to buy. When trying to return this product, we were told that it couldn't be returned due to "change of mind". I was aware that some features wouldn't work as the phone isn't a Samsung, but didn't think it wouldn't work at all, particularly given my partner's Samsung S2 watch works with our huawei smart phones. This has reinforced that I will never buy direct from Samsung as their customer service is terrible compared to retail stores.

Really good, can easily receive and make calls. Can read incoming messages and emails and reply using surprisingly accurate voice-to-text. Waterproof so don't need to take it off to shower. Finally a useful smart watch, will be better when Google Assistant app comes

I purchased this watch 7months ago and I have never grown to like it. Features are all average, app settings are not accurate and the battery life barely last two days. Two weeks after my purchase, a lady from Samsung phoned me see if I was happy with my purchase, I said definitely not that I'd like to think about returning it. She was surprised and said she would have a supervisor call me back to help...months later I've heard nothing. So service and care from Samsung is also disappointing. Product is also alot bigger on the wrist than it looks online-this was unexpected.

I got this watch to replace my Samsung Galaxy Active watch. The watch works ok, but it feels like a bit of a downgrade. I bought the galaxy active watch because it fit nicely on my small wrist and wasn't too bulky. The watch 4 strap is really chunky in comparison (hard edges vs rounded) and irritates my wrist more easily, and the curved parts of the strap by the watch face are not designed to rotate well when putting it on your wrist- I have to push the straps to 90 degrees to be able to put it on. It's lost the shiny silver look and the dull sliver that the face sits in is also bulky and less attractive. The watch does everything I want it to, but I can't find decent watch faces this time around that display basic steps and time well at a good size. I also can't use the measure feature because I'm pregnant, and do wonder what it does to you if it's not safe to use in pregnancy. The screen is a little bigger. Overall it's fine, but I miss my old watch. I expected an upgrade and got a downgrade. It feels like more of a small men's watch than a women's watch.

I had multiple issues in the first 3 months using the body fat function. I think this was due to the update at the time but even after multiple reports on the samsung members site, no one from Samsung addressed this. After 15 months, it got water damaged and wouldn't turn back on, even though it's supposed to be useable for swimming and I had used it multiple times for this activity. It was outside my 12 month warranty so I had to discard it because the repair was nearly the same price as a new watch. I'm waiting to see if gen 7 has a better battery life and looks sleeker before considering repurchasing a samsung watch because I liked the functionality and the gen 3 watch was pretty reliable.

This is my first smartwatch and it came as a free perk with my phone. It has been nice, particularly when working out or getting notifications on the go. The battery is underwhelming if you constantly use it but will last just over a day if used sparingly with battery saver on. The UI/UX is a bit clunky and I wish it had more apps for e.g. you can reply to people on Messenger but cannot open the app to check your chat history or compose a new message. I also found that Google map instructions sometime differ to what is shown on my phone. Overall, it is a good basic smartwatch that is comfortable and nice to have, but I don't find myself using as many features as I'd like to conserve the battery life.

Good watch overall with plenty of handy features. The only thing I didn't like was the short battery life and having to take it off to charge every night. This of course means you can't use the sleep features which is a really helpful feature. You have to strategically charge it at a time when you're not going to be using it, which in my case, is a relatively small and busy window somewhere between after work and bed time. Unfortunately the daily charging made it more hassle than it was worth for me and I ended up gifting it to my wife. Nice watch, just not for me.

I bought this watch 5 days ago to upgrade from my Samsung Galaxy Active watch (which does connect to my iPhone) Was so excited for this watch however when it arrived I tried to connect to my iPhone and it wouldn’t. Found reviews that said Samsung has just started not allowing iOS users to connect to their watches starting with the watch4. Very sad as this is my preferred watch. What made it worse was after talking to 3 different people at Samsung who also didn’t know the watch 4 isn’t comparable with Apple I finally was told I was not eligible for a refund as it seal was broken from opening. I’ve had the watch for 3 days it’s been out of the box once and not worn, it can’t connect to my device so can not be used and Samsung won’t refund it. Very disappointed.

Coming from wearing a Fitbit for the last few years, I found my new Samsung watch quite difficult to work out all of the features. I liked the fireworks that happened every 10 000 steps on my Fitbit as it encouraged me to do more. On my samsung I haven't had that and bcos the steps arnt displayed on the watch home screen I've found it taking me a bit of time having to flick through a few screens to get to the right one. There are alot of positives though especially because I have the s20 + phone so the connectivity between the two is awesome and super helpful. Any alarm on my phone now alarms on my watch which is great when not carrying my phone. I love that you can answer any calls and talk with the Samsung watch when my phones not anywhere near me. It has a tonne of features, I just have to sit down and have a bit of a play with it.

I got the watch as a freebie with my new S22+ phone and love it, ive never had a smart watch before, very cool being able to track steps, heart rate, sleep, menstral cycle etc all on your watch. Im loving using it while biking, can control my music and see if anybody is trying to get a hold of me while tracking where im going/speed etc. Also love the feature of being able to have photos as screensavers

I have had the watch 4(44mm) for about a week. Everything has worked flawlessly, I have the Galaxy s21 5g Ultra phone. The health app is pretty accurate and has many features. Blood pressure will only read if you first calibrate with external meter first but this is not important for me. Workouts, so far have been tracked accurately. I can receive and make calls, read and respond to messages including Phone messages, WhatsApp, Messenger. Receive, read and reply to my emails using outlook which is installed on the watch. Google pay is installed also. Spotify works well or you can store music on the watch and listen without the need for third party apps. Lots of customisable watch faces including ones that you can use your own image on. The watch looks great with a clear and bright screen. I have been using the watch more than I would normally as it's a new toy and battery lasts about 1.5 days. I am very happy with this watch.

I really like this watch, it tracks my heartrate, oxygen levels and my sleep. It shows me my notifications and also links to my earphones when I'm away from my phone. It doesnt take too long to charge and is super helpful in all my day to day activities. Only downside is my white straps went blue overtime. But i was able to replace them easily!

Regardless of how many times I update, this watch is keep getting disconnected from my brand new Samsung S21+ phone. They can't even make their own products compatible. Definitely wouldn't recommend. Save your money and buy a watch from different brand. My other Bluetooth devices are fine so it's not a problem with the phone.

Performs as expected but short battery life of 1 to 1.5 days makes is quite frustrating to use continually on a regular basis. Also lack of Tidal music app doesn't suit my original purpose. I have enjoyed this watch from when I first brought it about a year ago and it is still going strong. I do live in a country that has not allowed ECG or Blood Pressure monitoring from the watch which is annoying, so cannot comment on that functionality. Battery lasts approx 1.5 days. Shower/water lock is great too.

I replaced my fitbit with this watch and it looks mcih better and does much more. You can download lots of apps (I love the sleep recording, mini workouts and find my phone features in particular). Only downside is after a few months the battery needs charging more regularly.

Really like the fitness apps, they track exercise really well. Heart rate appears very accurate when checked against a hospital monitor. I wish it was a slightly smaller unit, i replaced strap with a smaller thinner one and i like it heaps better.
