Traded in my old Samsung smartwatch for this device. It matches the colors of my flip phone and earbuds which is amazing. This smartwatch is a clear step-up. Samsung has upgraded the keyboard and a whole host of other features. The screen is much not durable. And the device is much more responsive. My old watch would slow down easily. This one is very snappy. Plus it overheats less. All in all a fantastic experience and a must-have for anyone with a Samsung phone. My favorite features are the exercise monitors and the fact that I can see all my phones notifications without having to actually pull out my phone. I just have to glance at my watch.

The watch came in a neat box with a charging cable underneath. It was easy to set up and connect with my phone. The watch is very sleek and stylish. It looks good on my wrist and it's comfortable to wear. I use my watch to track steps and sleep, mainly I also use it to take ECGs and check my blood pressure throughout the day. The watch face is customisable so I like to have a photograph of my dog as my background and just a 24 hour clock on the screen. The screen responds very well to touch gestures and it's very simple to use. I am extremely pleased with my watch and will recommend it to all of my friends and family that use a Samsung mobile phone.

If your looking for a smart watch look no further! I purchased this watch for my birthday and absolutely love it! This watch has all the bells n whistles. It holds a charge for days! It helps me keep up with my activities. It's great piece that I can wear anywhere. I love how it let's me know that it's time to get up n get moving or how it will show me my stress, heart rate it even will tell me my weight. There's so many features I love about this watch not to mention the color! Also you can buy other bands colors to match your outfits! I would highly recommend this watch to anyone considering buying one. I also bought one for my husband and he loves it too!

I bought this watch as a birthday present for myself a month ago, since my old Galaxy Watch gen 1 got stolen. Rip buddy. You'll forever be missed :'(. But man, was this a total life changing upgrade from my old Watch. The features are way more accurate, display and feedback with the system is immediate and smooth, and the battery lasts me two days on one charge. Amazing. Also don't even get me started on the sleek new look of it.. it's amazing. Modern, not bulky, and still stylish. The lavender band is my favorite part. Overall, I'm really impressed and happy I was able to get myself this Galaxy Watch5, and for a birthday gift to myself at that. Very pleased with the product!

All in all, this is a great piece of kit. Setting up was super easy and having a Galaxy zflip means that I can do a lot more things such as control my camera with it! Measuring sleep,blood pressure, bpm and stress are such great features. I particularly liked the cycle tracking. The only downside is the battery life. It seems that the watch needs charging every 24 hours or so. It is OK though as it only takes a couple of hours at most. I have been using it non-stop since having it and can already see it is helping with meeting my health goals (steps and water intake). So far, so good :)

Features are good...but if you use them fully, don't expect the battery to last the day. I mainly use it for sleep tracking and about once a week it doesn't track my sleep because its turned off. I have turned off all notifications (so it's hardly a smart watch and just working as an activity tracker) and it can't last the night on 40% battery. My Samsung Watch 2 automatically went into battery saving mode when it got lower than 15%. Easy solution that's not available on watch 5. You have to do it manually, which is difficult if you are sleeping. I wouldn't buy again or recommend.

I really am satisfied with all features and functions of the samsung galaxy watch 5, it's user friendly, comfortable and health functions are a must for me. The choice of faces and apps available are really nice. Unfortunately the only thing that makes it not absolutely perfect is the battery life. I was never able to get more than 24 hours of battery usage, even with power saving mode on. The watch has many interesting features, but I found myself not "playing " with it as much as I would have liked to so battery would last a bit more. That was one of the drawbacks I found.

I've upgraded my Galaxy Watch 3 to this new version and it had been worth it. The issue with the battery life has been fixed. Overall the watch has more modern design and sophisticated functionality. I enjoy going to gym and use many of the fitness functionalities to monitor my progress. I enjoy that it monitors my performance in the gym, while taking a walk and there is also a feature to measure different body measures. In addition, the watch is waterproof and supports payments. It's possible to use the watch to make phone calls and listen to the music or podcasts.

I am absolutely loving the Samsung Galaxy Watch 5. It is helping to encourage me to keep moving with the reminders to move. I work an office job so quite often I am sat for long periods of time, the reminders help me to get up and moving around to get my steps in for the day. The sleep tracker is very helpful in showing me how well I am sleeping and whether I am getting enough sleep (spoiler: I am not!) I enjoy completing the stress tracker alongside the breathing exercises it has to help keep my stress levels down. And I love the fact that I can answer calls and respond to texts on my watch, it helps me to leave my phone alone and not get so distracted by everything else on there every time I respond to a message.

This is a replacement to my old Samsung Active Watch and what an upgrade! The design is so sleek and fits perfectly on my wrist. I love being able to make calls and send mesages from my watch. Upgrade from the Galaxy watch that wasn't even usable due to the poor battery life. What an upgrade it was! All I can say is wow! Plenty of battery life to get me through the whole day and night with more juice to spare. I love the watch faces, notifications are spot on, replies through the watch go through without a hitch and all the features/apps are working as promised. Exactly what I expect in a smart watch. Thank you for the additional color options in both the band and watch itself. It would have been nice to see more color option for the leather hybrid bands since the sport band can get a little sweaty just from normal wear. It's a joy to wear and I actually look forward to putting it on every day. Thank you Samsung!

I love this watch, I've owned it for 9 months now and just like my previous watches its holding up perfectly (I always get the new ones although my old ones work great still) the screen on these is really good for scratch resistance I am a clumsy person and flail my arms a lot but its still not been scratched at all on the screen (couple scuffs on the rim). The battery holds about days charge with the monitors running, doesn't super hold charge if you use it for too long on 4G alone but still pretty good for trips out where you don't need your phone.

I loved the design and build of the watch.... its is so sleek and lightweight that you barely feel it on your wrist.... It is such a great tool of convenience being able to remotely achieve multiple tasks without the need of your phone and can setup your important alerts on the watch face too.... It has a great battery life and an extremely responsive screen... Not only that, I have connected it with my health app and it just gives you that extra added peace of mind... Highly recommended and definitely a fantastic buy.

I love this watch! It looks super cool and have great functions, beautiful design and is comfortable as well. Easy to set up with a Samsung phone (the only downside is that you cannot connect it to an iPhone) The screen is very bright and it also has a light sensor which adjust the brighteness automatically - i love it! Its great for exercising at the gym - fitness tracking, showing the heart rate zones while working out is so useful! Very good battery life- it last around 3 days and it gets fully charged within couple of hours. I love that it has faster charging because of the USB-C to wireless charger. The sleep tracking is very good and i enjoyed tracking my sleep with it a lot - snore detection and blood oxygen monitoring - great! Overall highly recommended!!!

Okay so firstly I love the slim design and that it looks like an actual watch. Another bonus was the set up was super super easy didn't come across any issues. I really like how you can personalise the watch faces by adding photos, changing the layout and the clock colour plus the type of clock. The fitness tracking is really good and picks up on exercises really easy. My one major issue with this watch is the shocking battery life it doesn't last a whole day but thankfully it does charge very fast.

Wanted to upgrade my fitness band for years. I was always afraid of big dials, being a petite girl, but this design is so sleek and amazing. So had been waiting for its launch. the first impression is just amazing, the senor works so well. The price is great so is its battery life which has been my constant struggle when it comes to a smartwatch the amazing thing is, i can charge it on my phone. I work in busy environment, so it pretty much keeps me notified without picking up my phone, I can see notifications, reply to msgs, and answer calls. you can pretty much do everything without even touching your phone. I live in London, and I constantly had to take my phone in and out while traveling, changing trains or buses but this watch works with google wallet. so made my life so much easier.

This is an excellent item. It not only looks great, the screen is nice and clear, large and round so everything shows up. The watch strap feels strong and looks sleek and I love the fact you can customise it to suit your mood or outfits/occasion etc. You can change the face so can have photos you like or a screensaver and you can change the strap to a different colour or metal if you prefer something smarter! I love all the different functions! There's so many different apps available for the screen and the fact I can text from it. It really is great and does everything you could possibly want really! I would just like the battery life to be a little better as it only seems to last for a day and with others I've had I've gotten a week or longer? Other than that, I can't fault it! I'd definitely recommend!

At the outset found it hard to set up. good looking by design. Has many features looking forward to learning how to use to the benefits of E C G and blood pressure including fitness, 5 days now going through all the features. As stated in first paragraph took 3 days to get around using it It takes time and patience to move around the watch. like the features whilst asleep. and fitness. The best battery life I have found on any watch. It is very lightweight and I like the feature of the display coming on when you raise your arm. I am still trying to go through all the features on the watch and phone app. Downloaded manual there is so much more wit this watch than I realised. in hindsight should of done this before being frustrated trying to set up. nice feature that you can shake your wrist to answer phone.

I love my new smartwatch the features are brilliant. I like the fact that on one watch I can check my blood pressure, my pulse rate, oxygen saturation, sleep, pulse rate and many other things I haven't tried it. Oh I can control my audiobook from my watch. I really like being able to text from the watch and answer and end calls from the watch. The only thing not so good is the battery life, 24 to 36 hours. If that was better I would have given it 5 stars.

Overall, this is a decent watch, I feel I should say that first. It does everything it promises. All the health sensors work well. It is worth noting that you need to already have a blood presure machine, if you want to use the blood presure feature on the watch. I bought this as an upgrade from another tracker, partly because I didn't feel the battery life on the other tracker was as good as it could be. You need to be aware you will have to charge this watch every day which is not what I wanted. It is very difficult to track sleep when it is charging. I want to wear it through the day to track activity but then I need to charge it each night. I am very disappointed with the battery. I am also a little disappointed that the temperture sensor does not work yet, that is the only new sensor with the Watch 5 compared to the 4.

I have had this watch for 9 months. I am not satisfied and wish I had returned it. It does not record stairs at all- I live in a three story house and it never registers more than 3 lights/ day. It registers heart rate very low ccompared to Fitbit or a heart monitor. Battery power is terrible- 24 hours max. Good looking, but lacking functions and accuracy. The O2 monitor is dangerous- if I really has a SpO2 of 78% I would need hospital care!

I absolutely love this watch. It does everything you need it to do, and even more. Sends messages by voice, answers calls, sets alarm, tracks your fitness and sleep schedule. It even gives you directions if you have a GPS turned on on your phone! What else would you need from a watch??? This watch is the best watch that I have ever tried out, and it even matches my phone! Definitely recommended.

Whilst it is a lovely looking and feeling watch, the functionality is crap. Doesn't support Gmail app (the world's most widely used mail service), doesn't support the Strava app (the world's most widely used fitness tracking app), and doesn't support the Facebook app. The watch apps are very limited which is incredibly frustrating given that it is one of few nice watches out there.

I like my new watch. Easy to use vibrant screen. The only thing I have to get used to is not having the dial like my old galaxy watch had. I miss that part but I'm getting used to just using the touch screen. And I saw complaints about battery life. My battery lasts 2 full days with no problem. My other watch lasted about the same time so no complaints about battery for me

For that price this is an unbeatable product. Even at full price I would easily justify it. Smooth, crisp display, much more streamlined than many other premium wearables. The watch came in a sturdy box which was minimalistic in style and had a classy appealing look. I was not disappointed with the aesthetics of the watch either, I love how it is so slimline and does not look chunky or clumsy even though it is quite a large watch. I have very slim wrists but even so it looked fab and I had lots of compliments from friends. Set up was ok but I'm sure people more tech savvy than me would not have an issue. Its got a great functionality to help with fitness tracking, blood oxygen, heart rate amongst many. I really like the sleep tracker which again seems far ahead of the game than my previous device. It really helped motivate me in my mission to get healthier. I wish it did not need charging quite so often but I've got into a routine with it now so it's fine. All in all the bright graphics, myriad of features and gorgeous look earn it a big thumbs up from me. I would definitely recommend to a friend.

I'm so happy I did the upgrade from watch 3 was always a fitbit user switched to galaxy watch and won't go back. Best new feature on 5 is battery life. Lasts much longer and new fast charger charges in 2 hours max. Also not as heavy at first I missed the rotating bezel but happy you can still rotate the edge same feature. Overall very satisfied!

I really liked my Galaxy Active2, which is compatible with my iPhone. The new watches are not. I wasn’t aware when I ordered the 5 and wasted time trying to activate it and going through multiple phone calls trying to figure out why it wouldn’t connect to my phone and ultimately returning it. Poor business decision, eliminating so many customers.

This watched looked lovely and I adored it but the LTE technology did not work. I took the watch to be set up by my network provider and then to a Samsung experience store. Neither could get the LTE technology to work. The watch keeps trying to connect and overheats and has a battery life of about 10 hours.

I've really enjoyed testing this Samsung watch 5. I had a Samsung watch active which was a couple of years old and was really excited at this upgraded version. The screen is a bit bigger than my previous watch which I find better and easier to use. The colour is beautiful, I really love the purple strap and silver around the face which matches with more of the jewellery colours I wear rafber than the old rose gold one I had. I absolutely love all the new features this watch has, the body composition is fantastic! I've enjoyed using this feature the most I think. Also the ECG and blood pressure monitors are great too, I feel like I can look after myself better and be more aware of my health just from wearing a watch! The screen is able to be personalised in so many ways. I've picked pictures of my children and I love seeing them each time I touch my watch. Overall I'm extremely happy with my purchase, the one and only problem I've found with this watch is the battery life isn't great at all. It needs charging most days which is a real pain, but it's something I'll live with for all the other fantastic features.

I've had loads of smartwatches over the years, including the Galaxy Watch 3 most recently and this one is my absolute favourite. It's light and slim and looks beautifully sleek and classy, I love the silver and the purple strap just gives it that subtle touch of elegant girliness. I've worn it casually and also out to dinner and at parties and it looks the part with every outfit. One of my favourite new features is the support for Google Wallet, which supports many more banks than Samsung Pay. I love the new blood pressure monitor feature, makes life so much easier for people who have to check their BP multiple times a day, and is accurate thanks to the weekly calibrations. I haven't used many of the other health features yet, but there are so many! Love that I can stay connected and see notifications, reply to them, answer calls etc without constantly having to touch my phone, brilliant for people like me who never know where their phones are, or for parents who's kids are constantly misplacing their phones! The RING doorbell notifications have also been so handy, being able to see who is at my door from my watch has been amazing. Overall, beautiful, classy, light watch that is a pleasure to wear and offers a plethora of features to stay connected and active without sacrificing comfort and style or breaking the bank!!

I've used two smart watches before. One was a Samsung (Gear2) while the other was from a different brand. This watch is certainly the best in terms of quality and what it can do. That might just be because it's newer and therefore has better software, but I think the look and design is also good too. The software means that it's fast and reactive with very little lag and that it can also do a lot too. A few downsides are that with the amount of software and things it can do, I think it's had an impact on the battery life. It can use up to 75% of the battery in one day and that's without wearing it at night time. Also, if you don't have a Samsung watch, it's more difficult to use the health aspects of it such as monitoring your pulse and heart rate. That's because the Samsung health monitor app is only available on Samsung phones and you need this app to be able to measure your heart and pulse live on your watch. Also, if you're going to get this particular watch check which network you use because not all mobile networks in the UK allow you to use the 4G element of this watch. So if that's what you were hoping to use it for and you aren't on the small number of providers you'll find it's a wasted expense. I would recommend this watch to people who want to monitor their health while also being able to do normal phone things on their watch too.

This is my 3rd Samsung watch, and I can say again this didn't disappoint! It's quick and easy to set up with my Samsung phone and it's functions are clear. I particularly like the Samsung health recording and how it can log my swimming records, stroke, swolf, distance, heart rate, calories etc. The sleep monitor is impressive too. Via the NFC I can also connect this to the treadmill at the gym, no more faffing trying to stop and start the treadmill and the watch at the same time -bonus! The watch connects to the phone well and even the microphone and sound (when I occasionally answer a call through it) works well. I would say if you're into keeping fit and have a Samsung phone, invest in it. I have already recommended this and will continue to buy Samsung products in the future. The only niggle I have is that this doesn't come with a plug. Now I have several Samsung plugs I have used over the years and the only one that fits this chargers lead is my phone one, I don't want to be paying a large amount of money for a plug. Please don't kid yourself that you are being environmentally friendly because now I have a load of useless plugs and have to order a new one, which means you still have to send me a second package. This is like apple, a money making scheme. When you change the plugs, the first few products on that change, should really include a plug. If I didn't have one for my phone I wouldn't have been able to charge the watch until I purchased one, and now without buying another I have to order when I charge my phone and watch. Other than this, I'm really happy with my watch and would recommend.

So glad I decided to purchase this watch, after using one of the smaller fitness style watches I wanted one that did more and this certainly does. It's a nice slim lightweight design, and having always struggled with watches to fit my very small wrists this is perfect and very comfortable to wear. The health features are fantastic, sleep tracking, heart rate and steps I often look at and seems very accurate to me. Having a health condition which can be affected by my quality of sleep this watch certainly helps me track that and help to make improvements to my sleep. It gives a detailed report for sleep pattern which is very easy to understand. Connects to my phone seamlessly and was very easy to a set up. Its extremely beneficial to me for work as I can check emails, texts and calls without having to check them on my phone and reply to anything important straight from the watch itself. Little features like having a calculator on there really help in the work place. After a 9 hour shift at work I do find that when I come home I need to put the watch on charge, but it's charges up to full very quickly so I don't need to have it off for long. There is many customisation features for the watch face which is great and currently I have it cycling through my own photos which I set up on my phone, which is a nice personal touch. You can also download quite a lot of additional apps through the play store on the watch itself. It's definitely hard wearing as I have accidentally banged it a few times whilst at work and there is not a mark on it so the quality of the screen is great. Overall I'm very pleased with this watch does everything I wanted plus more, and would definitely recommend to anyone looking to get a smart watch that this is ideal for many, from anyone looking for full fitness tracking and health tracking or even just as a watch for taking calls replying to messages, using contactless payments, and simple for just telling the time. Great piece of tech

The watch came in a long box, nicely packed. Despite being 40 mm in diameter, it is much thicker that Active watch that I used to however it does not bother me, I like it. The watch came with a charger, instruction and strap. I am a bit disappointed that there is no USB port at the end of the charger. It is ending with a Type C charge port. This was a big disadvantage for me as I cannot plug it to my regular USB ports I have in my wall which I did with my old watch. Additionally, you can not use standard USB plug but have to have a "modern" one with Type C outlet which thankfully I had from my phone. Unfortunately, I now need to share one between the two. The Type C ending is also quite long with additional stiff plastic end (on the top of the bulky charger plug) don't even bother putting it behind tight cupboard as you need quite a lot of space. The watch has a very sleek and modern strap that came in lilac colour which fit perfectly. Despite having a small wrist, I would appreciate if there was a spare size bigger strap in the set as there wa no possibility to chose the size whilst buying (especially for that price). Right, let's stop moaning now. What's good then? Firstly, The watch was easy to set up and connect to the phone. I really appreciate additional physical activities which were not available in samsung watch active e.g. boxing, hoola hop or tennis. There are few disparities in the distance whilst running on a treadmill but I can live with that. The only thing that annoys me when trying to chose exercise to do is that it always asks me to turn location on. I don't use location due to high battery consumption but the message that pops up each time you chose new exercise will not allow you to magically and permanently remove the message and it must be cancelled each time. Secondly, The watch has amazing health options- BP, ECG, saturation, pulse and body composition. Wow! That is impressive. It's great for someone who is not only from healthcare background but also for active people who wish to get to know their body and their abilities a bit better. I haven't had a chance to test it all yet (e.g sleep tracker) but the one I did so far I cannot fault (except accidental reboot whilst doing body composition). Finally, the current watch faces are nice and allow lots of customisation however I am disappointed that I could not use galaxy shop to purchase or get more free ones (as with my old watch). I hope that will change with time.
