build and design quality are excellent, as you would expect from samsung. there isn't a more aesthetically pleasing or versatile projector out there, picture quality is superb, the os is decent once it has a chance to "settle," and i like how convenient it is to switch to an hdmi source. a bit pricey, especially for lacking a micro-hdmi adapter but overall excellent product. samsung, when are the other accessories going to release?

it will be a good device in a next version if they fix some things: 1. Autofocus and auto keystone don't work immediately as advertised. 2. the most serious problem is that the vertical angle adjustment is mechanical, nothing precise but the worst unstable since after you spend a long time locating the screen it continues to go down. It need fine adjustment screw. 3. The operative system for Smart TV is very slow, and access to screen size and position is very difficult 4. It is still very expensive and don’t have case included as in other countries 5. In the ceiling or when you need to put it aside from where you are going to project, can’t straighten the image The good was very quickly shipping, I expected it on March 10 but arrives March 1, with lights turn off the image quality is very well, the sound is very good for its size and can you connect your AirPods

i was writing a review with conerns about the laggy interface. went to take pics for the review and discovered the interface is fixed! that is great news, because it would have been a deal breaker. thanks samsung!! pic is nice, sound is good, voice control doesn’t seem to work well. auto keystone could be better, had to use manual mode. at least now it is quick to get there. overall i like it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow!!! This device is so amazing. The Samsung Freestyle is an absolute game changer in the projector market. This is the ultimate in portability and would be the perfect travel device or flexibility device for whatever. The Freestyle is so small and compact its amazing it can produce such a clear picture. Speaking of picture wow the auto adjustment functions are perfect you don't have to worry about where you put it or what angle it's at the auto calibration will fix it and produce the perfect image. I literally can't say enough for why this is the best projector on the market for ultimate flexibility.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am really enjoying using the projector. I didn’t want a TV in the kitchen for a lot of reasons and I don’t want a TV in my daughters bedroom but there are times I need/want one in those rooms. I tend to use the projector while I’m cooking to catch up on shows and when my daughter was a bit poorly I was able to put her to bed with the ‘tv’ on the ceiling so she could watch it in bed but then take it away when needed. The only small criticism is the picture is only at its best in complete darkness which means I’d probably struggle to watch something in the kitchen in the daytime.

the lens, even though came covered, it has micro scratches/ dust from within the lens, thanks to the new s22 ultra, i was able to capture it on camera, the remote kept disconnecting randomly, the light would blink when press but it does nothing, every time that happen, i have to turn the projector off and restart it, then the remote work until it decides to randomly disconnect again, on top of that, the connection to the freestyle is very bad, sometimes it takes a few clicks to register, sometimes it jumps more than spaces i clicked, both remote and projector is so laggy, even when turned on, the start up sound interrupts itself.

The picture, resolution, screen projection size, and even sound, is just incredible. The interface and Samsung smart things integration is awesome. Setup up was in less than two minutes. I have to admit, the keystone feature to auto correct was eh, but manual correction was simple. I love that viewing was even enjoyable in the day time, which gave me the same feel as an actual led TV. After just testing on my wall in the basement, I decided that a screen was unnecessary, seeing how clear the resolution was. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love this little gadget. It’s super compact and easy to use but packs a punch in terms of picture quality! Setup was super easy with the app and accompanying remote. The screen self adjusted on our chimney breast as well as the opposite flat wall and configured due to the colouration difference. (Our chimney is dark grey). We were excited to test out the 4k films on Netflix and I can assure you we were not disappointed. The picture was crisp and we felt fully immersed. The speaker quality is also surprisingly clear and loud for a small machine. All in all this is a super projector that completely exceeded our expectations. We cannot wait to get it outside in the summer months - we have already ordered a projector screen for the outside! 10/10 highly recommend!

The initial setup was quick, easy, and self explanatory. I was able to sign into my accounts such as Samsung, Netflix and Amazon with no issues. I was using it in no time, literally within minutes. I’ve always wanted to project on my vaulted ceiling for fun and this did not disappoint. It’s like having a portable smart tv and the picture is fantastic! The sound even is great quality. The picture is awesome..we automatically started watching Netflix didn’t take 10 minutes to get it going..what really shocked me is when we went outside at night and was watching a movie on the house..my neighbors even was shocked and wanted to know what it was we were doing. This projector is definitely a big hit in my household and I’m so impressed how easy it is to operate even my 7 year old can operate this projector. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As it is named Freestyle, there is everything just freestyle about this cute projector. My kids just set it up by their selves in a few minutes. It is their new obsession, and they homed it in their playroom. With fantastic quality HD screen and they make their screen from 30inches up to 100 inches. We set up in our backyard for drive-in movie night, and I can definitely love the idea of using the plug-in or battery options, making it easier to maneuver around the different locations to our liking. We have our house synced with Google, and it was easy to set up with that command system. It is definitely a small portable projector with full-on TV with the option of Smart TV service. We so far love it, my kids are using it in the car for our weekend trips. I will recommend to everyone with kids to own one of these projectors.

I love the fact it is small and easy to transport around with you no matter where you go. You can watch movies anywhere and not worry about carrying a bulky item around. It has great streaming capabilities with hulu and Netflix. It also had a samsung TV option that works great but can be a tad annoying when you are trying to do other things with the projector. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was pleasantly surprised of the picture quality of the Samsung freestyle projector. It was way better than I could have imagine. However, although it is full HD, I wonder if the next generation can improve beyond 1080P to 4K. That would be impressive. Furthermore, the quality of the sound from the projector does not sound bad at all and I didn’t expect it to be that good from a small device. The setup couldn’t be easier especially if you have the Samsung Smarthings app to register and connect to your local wifi. I loved the fact that it has all the streaming apps already loaded. Overall; I’m going to bring this projector with me everywhere I go. I have not test to see if it’s possible to hook up a soundbar to it for a more immersive theater experience due to the micro hdmi output and I do not have that cable available. Will update once I test it out!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So this testimonial feels awkward to write as I have been wanting to get my hands on this projector since seeing its launch at CES in January and i've been left feeling a bit disappointed by the projector. My initial thoughts were, the product is easy to setup, links in well with my current QLED tv and pulls through a lot of the settings from it. The design is superb and the projectore and remote both have a lovely finish, and are soft to the touch. Picture quality is very good, colours are punchy and the sound quality is excellent, much better than other projectors. However, I just wish it was a bit brighter as I struggled to see some detail on darker scenes when I was watching films The menu experience was very disappointing, it was laggy and the buttons felt unresponsive. As much as I love this projector... I dont feel the value for money is there for what you are getting.

Spending money on something like this, is not my thing. When it came, “here comes the new toy”. Not a toy at all, the clarity is spectacular. The screen to fit any size you like on any wall. I was thrilled when I saw how clear it was, as a LED TV. I believe I like it more to have a moveable TV for me to put it anywhere. The device is well made looks heavy and strong which means we can take it anywhere. Portable to take it on trips and most of all share a movie with friends on a backyard. The sound quality is good for a small device, is loud that you could listen from not a far distance. Husband set it up, so all I have to do is just get control and put my series on. When I first opened the box, I felt like it might be a letdown. The projector was so small. Then I set it up. So easy. Basically, hook it up to the internet and use! I jumped right into prime and fired up "Reacher". The picture auto focused, and the sound was way too good to be coming from this small item. Color, brightness, movement were all perfect. I have light colored walls, so I did not use a screen, and it was amazing. I later went outside on the deck and put up an old sheet on the wall. Once again, the picture was great. This projector is super mobile and works flawlessly. My next trial will be to use it with my computer at a customer's office to do a presentation. Can't wait to see how that turns out! If you are looking for a small, mobile, but high-quality projector, buy this one!!!

It also is great to move around from room to room. The sound quality surprised me. I actually made some popcorn one day for the family. Put the projector on and turned a ordinary night into a movie night. My only negatives are two things. The lumens are lackluster at best. You need the area to be very dark to have a good showing. The auto focu was not the best I had to manually adjust it. The screen setting that allows it to make the screen straight seemed off to me. My final issue was with the latency of the operation system. Samsung would need to put a better processor inside. For the money I am sure they can appomplish this. The rest was great. The stuff you have access to such as Netflix, Hulu, Disney+ was great. The Samsung TV works amazing as well. If Samsung can change a couple things the Freestyle can easily be one of the best projectors on the market!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really loved the projector as it is so small and has less noise than my previous one also it is easy to carry or move to any location I want, I do travel more so the light weight travel case is more helpful for me to take my projector wherever I want. The design of keeping all the components in one place is a good way to connect my USB C charger and other useful external cables. The sound quality is excellent no need to connect to any external speaker, but for the movie experience, I can easily connect my soundbar and create a movie room Screen size can be fitted to any room and the quality is very good, I use Netflix more, so I have upgraded my plan to HD to experience the HD quality movies, this is brilliant. Also, I like the Ambient screens which are really cool to set as a display that looks like real screens. As it is Tizen OS, which I use every day with my Samsung TV, easy to airplay and even I share my mac screen somethimes to watch some like videos.

I have a hotspot on my phone so anything that requires wifi will work, but I get tired of watching things on my Tablet. The Freestyle Projector is exactly what we needed in our life. It is a small, wifi-capable, smart device that has all your regular streaming apps. You can use it on a wall, or even on the wall of your tent. You can make the picture as large or small as you need. It has a built-in speaker that produces great sound, and it plugs into the plug on our jeep or any wall plug. I love that we can take it anywhere, think about it if you rent a hotel room why pay them a huge price for a movie when you can just take this along and have all your streaming services? I am learning very quickly that this is one of the first things that needs to be packed for trips or just movie nights in the backyard. I feel like everyone should have one!

The packaging was great quality and easy to unbox. Couldn’t figure out how to set it up and then I found the remote, the set up was super easy after that. I tried it in low light and in daytime and I was really impressed. The built in smart features are very handy, saves you having to plug in another decide. Packaging is premium and you can have it set up straight out of the box in minutes. Picture is clear and obviously for a projector of this size, you will need a pretty dark room. The actually projector is very light but the most surprising aspect is how wonderful the sound quality is! I can easily use this for going away, using it in a hotel room or an impromptu movie projected onto a relatively white wall! Price wise, It could be slightly cheaper to make it more affordable and accessible to more consumers. Design and packaging (including the travel case) is excellent. Sound quality superb! Now, the most important bit! Picture quality is excellent for the size and price. Auto keystone features and auto adjustment are great little elements that stand out for the new projector user. Overall a good buy as a first projector but not a replacement for a professional system. Maybe a bit of an impulse purchase but the pricing is prohibitive.

When I cut the projector on, my first thought was Wow! The picture was amazing! The set up was very easy. The sound was great. I couldn't ask for more out of the product. My first night with the projector, the wife and I watched Netflix laying in bed with the picture aimed at the ceiling. It was amazing. The freestyle automatically adjust itself for the distance and item it is being projected on. My 2nd night, I invited my kids to come late across my bed and we had family movie night. We watched lightyear. The graphics was amazing. Watching the size of the picture and the clarity of the picture made us feel as though we were at the movies. Day 3, my kids watched the video adaptations of their homeschool books. We've been pushing the device to the limits and plan to use it it more situations. I can't wait for a nice evening to project off the side of my house. We will have a big movie night outside. My overall assessment, if you have the chance to purchase a freestyle, please do immediately!

Its a smart TV, an Alexa Speaker, a fun background enhancer (showing things like happy birthday or random patterns) and it can connect to my Samsung telly and display what I'm watching on it which is a great party trick! The device is easy to use and the auto keystone and focus just work! Although of course you can play around with it (and I do) to your hearts content via the settings menu. Setup was a breeze as I use the Smart Things app already and I must say the welcome email from Samsung was a nice touch! Once slight issue is that sometimes it is not as responsive as I would like when pressing buttons, but this is not all the time. It can also get a little loud which means having to turn the volume up to compensate. Additionally the supplied travel case is great, but where am I supposed to put the remote and power supply? Overall this product wont be my primary screen but my outdoor cinema, my travel companion when family camping or holidaying and used for my Scout activities. I would recommend this product, its pricey but polished!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I work as a multimedia specialist and The Freestyle has helped in replacing our old projector which wasn’t up for the task. I love the portability and the fact it fits in my backpack without adding much weight. It’s stable enough to project a good quality image for a large group of people. It’s relatively small size makes it inconspicuous so it’s not immediately noticed by the audience. I love that it takes up very little space in the home as there isn’t much space for a full-size TV. The software could use a tiny bit of work. Otherwise The Freestyle is a good investment if you need a large portable screen or have little room for a full-size TV.

My Youtube video goes in great detail of this unit but let me tell you how great this unit is. It was super easy to set up and when you turn it on it has a great picture and good sound. By far the easiest projector to use and set up for fun! I own 3 other projectors and this one is by far the best for convenience and ease of use. The screen easily self adjusts. Having a quick access remote to stream your favorite services is awesome. All you have to do is turn it on and viola! It’s playing tv on any surface you want. I tested it in a room that has a lot of natural light. The picture wasn’t perfect but it out performed most projectors! You could watch it and it worked pretty well. When it’s used in a darker setting the picture looks excellent. We love this unit and plan to have a lot of fun with it for years to come. It’s portable and soooo easy to use! It’s small enough to carry with you anywhere you want to go. All you need is power and Wi-Fi and you have a traveling movie theatre that can go anywhere. Way to go Samsung for yet another brilliant device!!!

It's small enough to place anywhere, and its sleek design doesn't interfere with our home decor. It's soft to the touch and easy to wipe clean. Set up process was so easy and was ready to watch in no time. The auto keystone correction worked surprisingly well and is so convenient making it much easier to use the device in different rooms and situations. Sound was good. The menu system was easy and smooth to use and nice having the apps on there. Ultimately though its the picture quality that's the let down. Not even close to bright enough and colours don't look good enough even in a dark room. This makes it impossible to recommend at the price point. With better picture quality this could be a perfect device for me!

I love that it has all of my streaming apps on it and there is no need to connect a separate streaming device. The picture is great, and I love how quickly it adjusts the focus as you change the size of the picture. Setting it up with Smartthings was really easy, and now I can use my phone as a remote if I need to. I have already done a couple of movie nights with my kids and I'm sure we will have plenty more. The sound quality has been perfect, even for our outdoor movie night under the stars. I also discovered the ambient mode, which provides nice scenes and images. Can't wait to use the Christmas lights or fireplace scenes during the holidays.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have received and unboxed my Samsung freestyle projector and on first impressions I was immediately wow'd by this projector. The packaging itself was clever and recyclable which was a great first impression. It’s fun, compact and one of the most feature-complete projectors you’ll find out there, the Samsung Freestyle is packed full of smarts. It may not be the smoothest of menus, but once there it presents a very impressive 1080p HDR image from a host of sources including WiFi and a micro HDMI port. There is direct access to all your video apps over Wi-Fi, and its Miracasting abilities make for easy connections to whatever device you'd like to play back from. Just be patient with the menu as can be a little slow to respond. Having already had a projector setup at home I was really impressed with the quality of picture and ease of setup from this tiny cylinder. It really is as simple as ‘one button’ set-up. Having the flexibility to throw a film up on your wall or in the garden, it's just the ticket. The Freestye has a very solid picture, even at 100inches and coupled with Bluetooth speaker, can be quite the cinema experience at home. One of the best portable projectors you can buy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was toting a 70" TV to the patio on a TV Stand with wheels back and forth and I knew there had to be a better solution... so in comes the Freestyle. The TV was a pain to drag in and outside. The freestyle solved my issues quite quickly. I bought a 100" Screen and set up the device for a movie night outside and it didn't disappoint! After getting set up and getting connected to the internet, the built-in smart apps work like a charm. I fired up Netflix, Hulu and HBOMax and all worked great. The projector also has auto keystone so the picture adjusted itself automatically wherever I placed it and projected to the screen. The picture quality was great at 1080P and filled the 100" screen with no issues. I was actually impressed with the sound that comes out of the projector. The TV had to be turned up quite loud to hear outside, but the projector being smaller and placed closer to where we sat made it easy to stream some shows every night. I sat it up for my kids in the upstairs game room and they loved watching movies being projected on the wall. We don't have to buy a TV for the game room now either. Once we camping next summer, I can't wait to try it outside camping too! Overall impressive for a projector it's size.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Anyone that knows me knows I Love Samsung. However, with that being said this is my honest opinion of the Freestyle Projector. Number one this was so easy to set up that it was unbelievable, I took 1-2 minutes using the Samsung SmartThings app, and even set it up with my home WiFi without having to do it manually! I also love the portability of the Freestyle, the all-round design gives you 360 sound with surprising audio and volume in any location. After playing around with the Freestyle around the house and watching it on the wall and even on the ceiling while laying down, we took the Freestyle outside Saturday night plugged the USB C cord into one of my portable battery packs, and watched UFC Fight Night in Full HD on the side of the house out by the fire in the backyard. I can even control the Freestyle with the included remote or with the Samsung SmartThings app, my only negative comment is that the lens protector does not secure as well as I would like it is easy to knock it off if bumped. I absolutely love the Samsung Freestyle Projector, it gave me the same Samsung Smart TV and Samsung TV+ experience that I already get with my two other Samsung Smart TVs but in a compact and, most importantly portable package that I can take anywhere I want!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I very much enjoy my use of the Samsung Freestyle, both at home and on the go! As a unit that strikes a balance between portability and picture quality this was definitely a step above the others I've used. Whether you want to dedicate it to a room for a home theater experience, or bring it on the road to provide a viewing experience anywhere you can pop up a portable screen or even just a sheet it can do either. I paired the unit with a portable power bank capable of 60W USB C PD and it worked great (see pictures). I highly recommend downloading and applying the firmware updates, it will prompt you, and this resolved any small issues and also made the unit a lot more snappy and responsive especially in regard to the input from the remote. The auto focus and auto keystone worked great, and with the remote any fine tuning to get the picture just right was a breeze! Picture quality was great and the unit provided enough brightness to have a pleasant viewing experience in a lit room, but it really shines with the lights out! (pardon the pun) I've included some quick pics of comparisons between lit and dark room viewing. Out of all the portable or semi portable projector solutions I've tried, I've got to admit the Freestyle will probably be my go-to solution for now!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall this is a pretty cool new device. I have owned some pocket-sized and oversized projectors in the past. I would like to think of this as a projector mixed with a smart tv that has voice support from great multi-voice assistants like Alexa or Bixby. The design is great since it is small and lightweight it's easy to transport from room to room or even to another location. We were able to place the Freestyle in a central location where we could hear the narration through the awesome 5-watt built-in woofer. The set-up was great since it autofocuses and levels out from wall to wall it was easy to move on to the part of looking up what content we wanted to watch. The 180-degree cradle allowed me and my son to look at the stars on a youtube video on the ceiling feeling like we were transported to a planetarium. The HD picture quality is pretty good but the clearness of the menus could be better. The Smart TV content was great. We could pull up youtube videos, Netflix and Disney. We watched a few action movies like The Fast and the furious 9 that had some awesome sound for such a small device. I even got a chance to show it off to some family who loved that we could all pile on the couch and see from all angles. I received this product at a discount in exchange for my honest opinion.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am impressed with everything that the Freestyle projector can do. For such a small device, the amount of entertaining options is limitless not only because of the apps and functions it comes with, but most importantly, for its portability. The design is flawless: the size and weight makes it the perfect companion for any trip. You are basically bringing you TV with you anywhere you go with minimum to no set-up; all you need is a small place to put it, a wall (or any clear surface for that matter), Wi-Fi connectivity and you are set! We recently took it with us to a short “staycation” at a rented vacation home and we used it everywhere, living area, backyard and even the kitchen. The quality of the picture excellent and way more than what you can expect for a small portable projector but, for me, the biggest surprise is the sound. It comes equipped with a very powerful speaker that brings the whole experience to anew level. The ability to use voice assistants is also a huge plus and all the content is within reach in seconds. Overall, I am very satisfied and pleased with this new gadget. I know some upgrades will come and more content will be added down the road, but again, I am very impressed with what the Freestyle is capable of. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] From opening the box, the set-up process was very easy. The box was a clean simple design and the instructions were clear. The only thing lacking was a micro-HDMI convertor or cable which would have been nice to come so it’s ready to go. After the initial set up and having a look at the apps available, I put the projector straight to use, which gives a great image on many different surfaces and from almost any angle. Ensuring the room is dark enough is a major thing as in a light room its hard work on the eyes, so I would say it’s not aimed at the business market. A couple of the apps struggled to open initially but the major ones worked fine. After an update all was well apart from one. The ins built free TV channels are fantastic and there is lots to watch. The sound is great from something so small but connecting via Bluetooth to a surround system certainly improved the experience I’m sure the available apps will increase over time but there is plenty there to keep you entertained. Once the HDMI is utilised via an adapter, we were able to play video games which played very smoothly. 4K would have been nice but the image clarity is great as it is All in all, I was happy with the product and would recommend to others and I have already been asked by a close friend to borrow so they can decide if they will purchase one

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was my first time using a projector so I don't really have any others to compare it to. Maybe it was me but I found the set-up a little complicated. I didn't realise there was a lens cap on it so it took me a while to figure out why I wasn't getting a picture. Also, I found the remote control not entirely logical. I figured out eventually that to turn the volume up you need to push the "+" button up as opposed to just pressing the button down into the remote. The good thing about this though is that it is so portable which I can imagine would be useful in some situations. The sound that comes out is better than I expected and the picture quality is good. I didn't think much of the ambient setting though as all the scenes, apart from the fireplace one aren't realistic and it looks like a really poor quality image. I couldn't connect wirelessly to my TV from another brand so I'm not sure if your TV has to be Samsung but it's only last year's model so it's not an old TV. There's a micro HDMI port on the projector but no HDMI cable(s) so I had to buy one to connect my games console to it as the TV didn't connect wirelessly. Then that limited where I could put the projector due to the cable length. It's good as a projector but I think it needs improvement with the connectivity and user-friendliness side of things.

Not only do they pack in a superb projector in a little package but they have also fitted a full HD TV in there as well. I was blown away as I kept finding more and more great features that this Freestyle packs. From the ability to airplay or wirelessly display your phone, tablet or computer to connecting to smart apps such as Disney +, Amazon TV and Netflix. I was able to mirror my Samsung TV screen onto the projector while upstairs and the ability to plug in a USB battery to use outside was a great option. Connecting the Freestyle to Alexa or Bing adds voice control and the built in speakers were way more powerful than I expected. Pros - connectivity wireless. Smart TV function Sound quality and volume Picture quality Size and portability with USB battery Cons Price - but once you factor in the smart TV functions its priced like a smart TV Connectivity - wired. I didnt have any Micro HDMI cables in the house so had to order one and adapters to use my computer and games console. Brightness. Found the brightness was not great in my room during the daytime. Better at night by a long way even using dynamic settings. I would thoroughly recommend this projector for home use. I will be mostly using this in the bedroom instead of having a big bulky TV on the wall. (I am working on my YouTube video. Post it soon)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Samsung Freestyle comes well packed and you get the projector, remote, Charger and a charging cable. The carry case and the battery are add ond can be purchased separately. Price wise, the Samsung Freestyle looks premium but is expensive as it does not feature in-built battery nor an HDMi cable. Initial setup was very easy with just 3 clicks and a QR code via the SmartThings app. The app also features a remote which is handy as my remote came with no charge. Sound quality could have been better if the wattage was higher as you do not get a theater impact though the picture quality is good. The picture can be projected on a wall, ceiling as the projector can rotate 180 deg around the base mount which is very handy. Auto focus and auto keystone are great features but with auto focus, the projector sometime tries to focus as it does not get the right focus and this is annoying. Projecting on a the ceiling gives an halo light around the picture. The projector fits in perfectly in the handy carry case but this case does not provision space for the add on battery, charger and cable, remote and HDMi cable. I connected the Freestyle to my soundbar and I did feel an amazing theatre effect in a dark room with almost a 100" screen and some popcorn relaxing on my couch. Overall I like the Samsung Freestyle but I feel its happy too pricey for the sound and quality.

this tizen os destroyed the futuristic simplicity of the freestyle. the problem is they do not possess the technological advances to keystone a precise picture on a wall when the projector is not perfectly centered. when the projector is sitting diagonal displaying the digital keystone will warp out of line every 15 minutes & there is a rectangular dim offset framing shining around the actual picture. tizen os subjects users to an extremely slow process. lagging navigation is horrible and so sad. connecting micro hdmi to apple tv is flawless but creates a bulky equipment that destroys the simplicity of the freestyle. why didn’t samsung partner with google tv os or preferably apple which is the leader in refined perfection of software?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I originally purchased this projector not really knowing how I would use it, but I like the idea of having a projector for movie nights. Once I opened the box, I was surprised how simple it was to get it setup and running. Just plug it in, point it at almost any surface, and you are up and running. I have had this for about a month and have yet to plug anything into the projector. I mostly just stream using the built-in smart features or connect to my phone. If you have used a smart tv, the experience will be similar. The projector is small and contains a good built-in speaker. It can be powered by a battery bank for ultimate portability. Speaking of portability, that is the thing I found that I appreciate the most about this projector. I can grab it and take it almost anywhere. I have been using it outside for movie night or watching sports while I grill. I take it to my garage to watch videos while I work out or work on projects. I just love the idea of being able to carry a 100” TV with me anywhere. While a little more brightness wouldn’t hurt, I really think this is a great device. In a darker room, the picture is great. The auto focus and keystone make it easy to get a perfect picture every time regardless of the angle or placement of the projector. As I said at the start, I wasn’t sure how I was going to use this initially, however after some time with it I keep finding uses for it. Such a great and unique device.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have never owned an at-home projector, but I use them fairly frequently at work. I have had to lug those things around when doing presentations and they are cumbersome. So, the first thing I noticed with the Samsung Freestyle was the portability. The projector itself is about the size of a coffee can. Add in a small power bank and you literally have an entire entertainment center suitable for a crowd, including the power source, that fits in a large purse or small backpack. So what about quality? I am in the market for a TV for my back deck, so was hoping this might be a truly portable replacement option. It is a high-quality projector with fairly reasonable sound quality, and the ability to sync a couple of Bluetooth speakers to really improve the range. But unfortunately, it is still a projector so while the video quality is great, it is best at dusk or dark. I thought set-up was pretty easy, basically the same as setting up a smart TV. But I have run in to a couple of negatives that are worth mentioning. The auto-adjust feature to square up the picture regardless of projection angle is a great idea, but doesn’t seem to work that well in practice. I have had to manually adjust the projection each time. It isn’t that difficult once you figure out how, but I was really looking forward to being able to basically set it anywhere and have the picture fix itself. Finally, I have been unsuccessful in getting auto-play to turn off. I have tried multiple solutions I found online, but it still defaults to playing the Samsung TV app every time I turn the projector on.

You can either set it up with the included remote control or with the SmartThings app that I downloaded from the App Store. The picture is clear and the sound is surprisingly good. It comes with a remote control, a usb power cable and a cover for the lens that you can use as a light. The buttons are simple, on-off button, etc. One of my favorite things about the projector is that it focuses is automatically and you don't have to move anything to get a clear picture. I like that is portable and I can take it outside to watch a movie with my kids or camping, with the use of a portable battery. The remote control is easy to use as well, my 12 year old son uses it without problems. Samsung includes a lot of apps which is good. The picture quality is very similar to that of a TV, with the bonus that you can take it anywhere. One of the things that I’m still trying to figure out is that when we are watching a movie or a video the picture tilts on its own and I have to fix it manually. This happens constantly. Other than that I am really happy. The quality of the picture is clear and sharp. The picture is just Ok during the day but at night it looks amazing. I can set up a portable speaker with bluetooth for more immersive sound. This is the first projector that I own and I’m glad that I waited to buy one. I have been looking around and the quality of the picture of the other projectors that I looked at couldn’t match this projector. I think this is a great buy and I recommend this projector to anyone that is looking for a small portable option.

The colours are excellent, rich and with great fidelity The sound for such a small unit is mind blowing. Best in class. All main apps, including Netflix work as they should. What's not so good? Brightness means smaller projection (50" or less) required in daytime use Power adaptor runs hot all of the time Stand doesn't always hold projector tight enough and it slowly rotates down. There are a few UI bugs still, for instance adjusting focus or keystone manually quits the app you were using. Then there are a few elements which will depend on your view. The auto keystone is great (although it needs a calibration setting) but this is a double edged sword. It is so good you will use it but this means only utilising a section of the 1080p resolution available, so convenience results in lower resolution projection. Tizen (the smart interface) is foolproof and easier to manage than android TV, but allows for zero sideloading or personalisation and the app pool is much smaller. The ambience features are a novelty, more animations are needed here to really have value. Hopefully Samsung will add more in future. Should you buy it? If you are not going to use the smart features and just want a portable projector then you can do better for less money, however if the extensive connectivity or the seamless use with other Samsung products is of value, then there is nothing else on the market like this.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first experience with a small portable projector and I love it. When I first got this projector I wasn’t sure how I was going to use it. However after having it for a couple of weeks not, I’m finding all sorts of fun and practical uses. I have been taking it outside for moving night, putting it on the ceiling in the bedroom to relax and watch a movie at night, in our home gym to play workout videos, and in my office as a bigger computer monitor. The fact that it is so small and light lets me move it around where ever I need. Plus I can use a portable batter pack to give even more flexibility. When I first opened the box, I was shocked at how small the projector is. Got it out of the box, did the setup through my smartphone, and was off and watching free TV on Samsung Plus in a few minutes. I set the projector up about 7 feet from my white walls and the picture was plenty bright when I had the blinds closed. It basically acts like any smart TV with built in apps for all your favorite streaming services. I was able to hook up my game console with a micro-HDMI to HDMI adapter and play games on the big screen. I have yet to try using with a projector screen, but it works well on my white painted walls just fine. The auto focus and keystone adjustments work well and are handy given the portable nature of the projector. Just put it down, point at a wall, and let the projector make the adjustments. Overall very happy with the projector and enjoy getting to watch movies on a bigger screen. The only improvements for future iterations would be an even brighter picture and a faster user interface.

Let me start by saying that I've been in the market for a projector for years but have never been able to decide on which one to get. Enter... the Samsung Freestyle Projector. I've been waiting for something like this to come out for a long time. It hits all the criteria I've been looking for in a projector. It has 1080p, Smart TV functions including all of my favorite streaming services, excellent speakers, and most of all, it does so in a sleek small form factor. This could easily be overlooked but let me tell you, being able to throw a projector in a backpack and have a movie night virtually anywhere is something I never dreamed would be possible. Not only does it project up to 100 inches, but it will automatically calibrate the size and focus to whatever surface you're projecting on. One thing is for sure, the Freestyle is packed with a ton of amazing features, but this comes with one downside... Speed. I titled my review "The Almost Perfect All in One Projector" for this reason alone. The software that comes with the Freestyle is honestly very slow, and for some apps, it's worse than others. Even going through the menu can be frustrating because your actions appear on the screen seconds later. Now that being said, I totally see this as something Samsung could fix with a software update, and I really hope they do because I genuinely love this piece of tech. Does that mean you shouldn't buy it? Absolutely not. If you're in the market for a projector and don't want to have it permanently mounted or set up somewhere, look no further than the Samsung Freestyle.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let me start by saying, I am the kind of person to research for hours and sometimes buy several products and test them against each other before I decide which one to keep and use. When I purchased the freestyle projector, this was my 3rd projector I had ordered and tested. Wow, this thing is an amazing piece of engineering. Samsung has somehow managed to pack all the latest features of a top tier projector into the size of a drinking glass. The Freestyle projector has all the latest features; auto focus and keystone, screen mirroring and airplay, built in smart apps, voice assistant, etc. I have never found it easier to plug in the included USB-C power chord and within seconds you can be watching your favorite show or movie. And to that point, the picture quality is amazing. Very bright colors with crisp images and this was tested in a fully lit room. I am sure the quality only gets better with dark rooms or night time. As far as the speaker is concerned, it gets the job done and is good enough to sit through an entire movie. I am a bit of an audiophile so I enjoy really crisp, booming sound. But as I said before, the volume is fairly loud and there is enough bass and treble to get through movies. The coolest part is that you can connect a bluetooth speaker of your choosing to enhance the sound and theater experience. Overall, the Samsung Freestyle Projector blew my expectations out of the water. I would highly recommend this product for people on the go that need a small projector for presentations, movies, or shows. I will be recommending this product to all my friends and family, and I will continue to buy and utilize Samsung products in the future.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As soon as you open the box of the Samsung Freestyle, you feel that you have your hands on something different and then when you plug it in and perform the first time setup, it just wow's you.... and that is before you watch anything on it! When I opened the box, its clear that the Freestyle is different and Samsung have crammed the bean can sized (ok its a bit bigger than a bean can) projector with a HD output, some well performing auto focus sensors and 360 degree audio. It is accompanied by a cool Alexa style remote that has direct access to voice communication, Netflix, Disney, Samsung TV Plus and Prime Video... of which I have all but the Samsung TV. When you set up the Freestyle, you connect it to an app and linking to your accounts was easy, so within 10 minutes, you can point it at a wall and watch your favourite show. I did find that sometimes, when you scale the view down to 50%, it does get a bit out of focus, but 90% of the time, its great. The quality of the picture is also great. I know its a bit of a let down there is no 4K, but its a portable bean can (ok I know...) sized projector and TBH, the HQ picture is fantastic on a wall, projector screen, or the side of your van. It is bright, but like other projectors, its better in the dark or at night for the full effect. Once connected to Wi-Fi, its just like any other smart TV with access to everything you need and I also used Bluetooth to connect it to a nice sound bar for that cinema experience. I did try to get it working from a battery pack, but was not successful, I think this was due to insufficient battery power or the wrong cables but as soon as I can get this working, its going further than any projector I have every owned before!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Samsung freestyle – Set up if you have used any of Samsung products before is a breeze, quickly connected to my Samsung account and devices and set up was seamless using SmartThings. Samsung’s idea of everything being intergraded is working perfectly for me and allows me to keep on top of all my devices and when going through this set up it prompted me active my warranty, another very handy feature. The design of the freestyle is compact and light considering what it can do, when opening it up and looking at the boxing Samsung is sticking to its goal to be Eco-Friendly and everything is recyclable and packed really well. The feel of the materials used to construct the freestyle are nice to the touch and feel premium and very well built but still light enough to carry with no effort. The picture quality for something that small is impressive and the size that it can go to again outstanding, the picture was full of colour and I can see even the smallest detail in it. Samsung have added auto Keystone and auto focus which helps when moving around to tune you picture and angle to keep everything in shape so if you move from wall to celling your picture will be adjusted automatically, this is a great help in keeping thing correct but you can adjust this manually as well if you wish. The picture quality is impressive and full of detail and found myself setting there for a very long time watching all the different programs that Samsung TV Plus offers (Free service for Samsung users) and found that Samsung have added a lot more range to their channels which is perfect to use on the Freestyle via WIFI or using data. I am looking forward to try the freestyle in different places and to see what more I can do with it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I unboxed, it I was surprised of how small this thing is. It comes with a rechargeable remote, a lens cap and a power adapter. There is an additional travel case that can be purchased as well. The Freestyle has white rubbery skin which can be changed, and more colour options are available. As for wired connections the projector comes with type-c for charging and I had a big power bank that works great with the projector. There is a micro-HDMI port which lets you connect other sources, but make sure to purchase a Micro HDMI to HDMI Adapter Cable so you can connect any standard HDMI cables from consoles or TV. Turning on and configuring the Freestyle was supper easy, I had a SmartThings app installed on my phone, so it did all the configuration automatically. I see a lot of people complaining about the responsiveness of the device, but there was an update that I installed the device works quite well. You have all the apps you can imagine for streaming content; you can additionally cast your prone or use apple airplay. Additionally, there are a couple of ambient modes which are fun as a background. It comes with 5w 360-degree sound which sounds great. It’s not the loudest but it can do the job and it can easily be connected to a Bluetooth speaker or headphones if it’s not enough for you. The ease of use comes from all the adjustments that is doing by itself. You just point to the wall and the Freestyle will make sure you had the best picture. As for the brightness, I don't have other projectors to compare, but in dim lights and at night it’s amazing. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As everyone says is very easy to set up. The updates took longer, than to set up. After updates is very easy to log into apps, it now has QR codes. That will help to log in with your phone without entering all the info. The quality is just amazing in the dark or at night the resolution is as well as a LED TV. In daytime is not as well but I have to say still very visible for a projector. The sound is high for an outdoor or indoor, and is small enough to take it anywhere. Will have great time when we have company and decide to watch a movie or sport event in the yard. Inside the house I went and took few items from the wall to make it a big size TV, the projector so far made a 100-inch TV which is amazing. In the setting they have simple steps to fix screen and size. The auto focusing is spectacular on how fast and adjust automatically. You can also do it manually but would prefer the auto. The screen size I do go to manual only because I like to make it as big as possible. I believe 100 inches is the top will try to make it bigger but have not try yet. I did have only one negative thing, there is a time delay between the control remote and the device. What I mean is when I click on the remote control the function does not control right away. The remote must be pointing straight to device to work. But another great thing is you can download the Samsung SmartThings app and it can be control from your own phone and that works better than the remote itself. Another feature that it came with was they have projection signs. I pick the one that said "Happy Birthday" and had it on wall for a few hours. My daughter since was her birthday, was happy when she saw it and said Samsung made it just for her birthday. I will enjoy this device very much at home or outdoors. For that reason, I extremely recommend this Samsung Freestyle Projector.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the Freestyle now for a couple of weeks and am so far really impressed – it’s not perfect as I’ll go in to later, but as a small home projector it’s a really smart piece of kit which I would definitely recommend. I’ve used it for a number of tasks including watching films, gaming and as an additional monitor for a PC – all of which it excels at. The connectivity options are really good meaning it should be suitable for any use you have in mind. The positives – it’s small and easy to move around either in the house or out and about. The set up in a new location is really fast, just point it at a wall, turn it on and allow it to do it’s thing. It will automatically adjust the output to the optimum size and focus the picture. The number of Apps pre-installed is good including all the main streaming services – and there are plenty more available to download in the app store. The picture is good, being displayed at Full HD – which means even at the largest screen size of 100in there are still really high levels of detail. Sound can be output through the built-in 360 degree speaker which is impressive for the size of the unit – or easily paired with a dedicated Bluetooth speaker if you prefer. Like I said earlier, it’s not quite perfect and there are a couple of areas that could have been improved on (some of these will probably be solved with a firmware / software update). The interface locked up a few times – only for a second or two, but it was noticeable. Secondly, the Freestyle does have HDMI connectivity, but it is the mini-HDMI connector not the standard one which will mean purchasing an additional cable to connect it to most equipment (there’s not one currently included). Overall I found it to be a great product that I would definitely recommend if you are after a versatile projector for a number of different activities.

I’ve been a Samsung TV consumer for some time now, and I’m loyal to the brand. The quality and specs of its products is second to none. Now, when I saw the CES presentation of the Samsung Freestyle projector, I was amazed and my mind was completely blown away and I believe most of the people that saw it was on the same page. The promise of a portable device that brings all of your TV content and apps, along with cool features like voice assistants, great picture and sound and, best of all, in full Big Screen Format (up to 100 inches), is something that we have been waiting for, for a long time. I know there are other devices that offer some of this features, but nothing to this level. The Samsung Freestyle projector delivers on its promise and goes beyond what I was expecting. This is the first time I get to use a projector for home/entertainment purposes. I had previous experiences with business solutions and didn’t like the whole set-up process. The Freestyle takes all of that away. It’s exactly like setting up a new TV, you just go through the initial configuration screens, Wi-Fi, sync your Samsung account and “voila” you have a brand new TV anywhere you want. It does not have 4k video and the room needs to be dark enough to have the best picture quality, but that is something to be expected at this size. The auto keystone, auto focus and auto leveling, makes it a lot easier and practical. We have used it mostly with the apps (Netflix, Disney+, etc.) but my kids have also been playing with the Samsung TV mirror option which allows them to play content from another Samsung TV directly into the projector, which can be helpful if there is a particular app that is not yet available in the Freestyle. All in all, extremely happy I got to test this product and looking forward to many more movie nights with the family!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having already had a projector setup at home (ceiling mounted beast with 120" screen!) I was really very impressed with the quality of picture this tiny box of tricks has to offer. The sound is surprisingly clear for such small speakers which even add more bass than you'd expect from the package size. Visuals are crisp and clear. Setup was very easy and straightforward via my Samsung smartphone. Once connected (around 5 minutes total) It even told me that our (Samsung) tumble drier had finished in a notification! Remote buttons are a little clicky but I'm sure they'll soften up with use. The interface is a little laggy but that may be down to background updates? If you've got a recent Samsung TV the interface is exactly the same and includes the TV Plus app for streaming all manner TV channels. On the not so good side the auto keystone correction seemed to be having a little trouble meaning it would flip in all directions and not quite end up square. This did mean a bit of physically moving the projector the last few centimetres. Throwing at above the maximum distance recommended (to create a 120" picture size) meant the picture was slightly out of focus but that was easily fixed by switching to manual focus and doing some tweaks. Overall it's a decent piece of kit from Samsung, the auto keystone and focus are still very clever at doing their best which I'm sure will probably get an update to make them even better in the future. One last thing... you'll probably need an extension lead to use this effectively as the supplied USB C cable isn't that long. I'm looking forward to using it in the garden come the summer time so am now looking for a suitable battery pack for it (I think Samsung have one on the cards but it's not available yet) Overall I'd recommend to anyone wanting to get into big screen entertainment with a small package size that doesn't require permanent installation.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have always been impressed with Samsung products - I have a smartphone with them and also a Smart TV and was looking at smart projectors, particularly as we moved into summer. On unboxing, I was impressed with the sleek design and also the case for the projector was a nice touch - although I think the case could be improved to include space for the remote and cord. I turned it on with a view to watching my son's favourite movie - Lion King - to test the quality and was very impressed with the ease of setting the product up with various apps and instructions installed. Setting it up was very simple. On turning the product on - it was early evening - I was very impressed with the quality of the imaging on a plain white wall and we even tried it on the roof with my son able to lie on his beanbag and watch it that way - he was very impressed! The sound quality is okay - annoyingly, it doesn't connect to my Sonos One but I do have a LG portable speaker so included that instead which provided excellent surround sound. We have been using it in the mornings for BBC News and also for the football on Amazon the other night - quality was great. The reason I can't give it 5 stars if due to price and also the fact it doesn't have Sky or Rakuten installed (obviously you would have to login) and the only way to have those on it, as far as I can see, is to mirror your TV which kind of defeats the purpose as you need to have that turned on at the same time. (If anyone has any tips please do let me know) Update 22/03/2022 - still continues to be a wonderful addition to our at home entertainment although I have noticed that when the beam is at 90 degrees, over time the beam starts to lower, thus having to put something underneath to hold it at a steady level - this could be something to improve upon. Well you simply can't compare the Freestyle to other projectors out there (despite it being very good as a projector) simply because it's so much more than just a projector. If a projector is all you're looking for then it wont match up to the competition but you will find yourself shelling out a lot more cash for those. However, if you're looking for a solid, innovative bit of kit with a plethora of uses...this is it! For the price it really is incredible. The best way to describe it is...it's a lightweight, stylish, super portable smart speaker with great sound quality and a100" high quality projector which you can watch the latest Netflix Films on built into one device...which you can even run off a power bank. On top of that you can even project cool animations for parties and that waterproof case is very slick too. The picture is clear and crisp as you'd expect of any Samsung device and the design is pretty smart too...it even comes with a little clip to stop the power cable flapping around. It's very quiet when running and it looks great in a dark room all the way up to that 100" maximum. With a projector screen that picture quality is even more crisp. I would say the controls in the menu are a bit laggy but it more than made up for this with its simple set up. You literally tilt the projector to where you want the picture (on a wall, roof or whatever) and it will position itself perfectly 96% of the time. You can tweak the kerning in the settings if need be when the surface is a bit uneven and that's easy enough to do. The initial setup did take a bit of time but you do only have to do this once. As I got used to it more I found I could even pair multiple speakers or multiple Bluetooth headsets where I wanted to enhance that movie experience or not disturb the neighbours when we had it on outdoors. Overall this is a great piece of kit that any tech enthusiast should pick up today...highly portable and perfect for an impromptu movie night or party feature wherever you may be.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited for this the Freestyle. I travel quite a bit and wanted this projector as an entertainment companion. We'll start with the good stuff: - I love that the freestyle runs a complete TV operating system. Quite often with portable projectors, they either run a stripped down OS or are missing some of the key streamings services. This has everything you need without having to plug something in a streaming stick. - It's flexible, the build in stand means you don't need a tripod to adjust it's viewing angles. - The built in speaker is actually surprisingly good. The sound is full bodied and I don't feel the need to pair a bluetooth speaker to enjoy it. - It has built in airplay which allows me to use the speaker as an airplay speaker and to cast films to the projector too. - The remote control, while simple is fully featured and does the job. - Projecting onto the ceiling is a very cool experience. Unfortunately, that's pretty much where the good stuff ends. Now onto the aspects that could be improved: - Build quality is not great. It feels cheap to the touch and on my model some of the plastic is deforming already. The hinge is also very squeaky. Not ideal for a what is a 'premium' product. - Start up is a little slow, takes maybe 15 seconds to get going. - The hinge doesn’t hold at all positions. - In the Samsung’s press material they show the freestyle being used in bright environments, I can tell you now, that isn’t going to happen. The projector simply isn't bright enough. It can only be used in very dark environments. It doesn't work well with certain coloured walls. For example, I have a light blue wall and it really doesn't work well. Much better performance on white walls. - Dark scenes in films and tv shows appear very washed out. - There are occasional autofocus issues. - Unfortunately, auto keystone does not work very well, resulting in some distorted videos. All in all, I think the Freestyle is full of potential and is one of the most innovative products in years. Unfortunately, it's simply not ready. The brightness is the number one issue and unless you live in a cave or have a perfectly pitch black room, I can't really recommend this projector to anyone.

It's an entertainment device that can be an extension to other mobile devices but can easily stand alone. For the minimalists, a phone and The Freestyle could be all they need for a simple clean space. The professional could host a presentation in the airport, restaurant or just about anywhere. An entertainer, can play music videos or put-up digital art to fit the mood. Possibilities are literally endless with the Freestyle! The image is bright, crisp and vibrant. You'll forget you're not watching a regular TV aside from the available size. In the dark it's surprisingly bright but not washed out. With the shades open in the middle of the day images are still bright enough to enjoy it just lacks some contrast. The autofocus and image adjusts in less than 2 seconds on nearly any flat surface and at the most awkward of angles. It even works on semi-flat surfaces with different textures and colors. My girls absolutely love it, they can put images on the wall in their rooms or play area. If you want to trace an image onto the wall what better way to do it and at the size you want. My wife set it up for my daughter’s sleepover/birthday party, everyone loved using it. Especially at night watching movies on the ceiling in the hotel. A few parents already asked about it. To sum it up, The Freestyle has a bright and vibrant picture with one of the best auto focus and image adjusting sensors I've experienced. It can be used in nearly any room which is especially good on the go! Samsung’s interface is intuitive and easy to navigate with the rechargeable remote. This isn’t a gadget you’ll purchase and put to the side after a few months. I look forward to the battery, other accessories and future iterations of The Freestyle. Samsung has the opportunity to add additional colors like matte black, blue, silver yellow. Offering a form fitting hard case for travel would bump up the value out of the box. Maybe a software update to allow focus lock. There were a few occasions where dramatic changes in the color of a show would cause the unit to try an autofocus. This only happened on surfaces that weren't as reflective.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Freestyle Samsung Smart Projector setup process was easy, plug and play from the box. I did it in the daytime but it was a little disappointing in a bright setting, but you would expect this from any projector. The remote pairs automatically when you turn the Freestyle on for the first time. Its a nice small remote complete with voice assistant. The remote control contains an internal Super Capacitor, which is similar to a rechargeable battery. It can be charged by connecting it to a USB-C charger, which is handy as there's one provided with The Freestyle. Charging remote will give a red light. Once charged, the light will turn off. The design of The Freestyle is definitely very modern, the way it fits into the storage case is very snug and the build quality is definitely there, this is expected with the high price tag. The mini HDMI port is useful for connecting to games consoles and it also has a microphone toggle for people who don’t want The Freestyle listening into every conversation and want to just use it exclusively as a projector. A quick QR scan had the projector connected into SmartThings in no time, and I could easily use my phone to enable ambient backgrounds or turn on my favourite streaming services. The ability to connect Alexa is also a great feature, as I’m pretty used to using Alexa round the house and it anything that simplifies my experience is a plus. For the price I would have expected a 4K resolution, considering some flagship projectors are the same price and offer 240hz / 4k resolution. However, the picture quality and contrast is definitely nothing to be sniffed at and did surprise me. I didn’t have an external battery so I’m bound by the length of the plug at the moment, but this still got me a good 55 inch screen. I will definitely buy a battery and hope it can provide sufficient life. I noticed you can sit closer than where you would for your tv as the glare isn’t so damaging on the eyes, so it delivers a great experience. Out of the home this definitely has a good use, it’s compact, gives great three-dimensional sound and delivers a nice crisp picture, perfect for watching late night football or movies. I’m sure my sons would also love to try it out with gaming too at the 100” size! Overall, this product has definitely opened my eyes to the world of projectors and I can’t wait to use it more.

With a footprint less than the size of a 32 oz. Yeti mug, the Freestyle offers amazing clarity, sound, and features in a projector. I am a little late to the projector game and have always dreamed about being able to bring entertainment to our backyard and on camping trips, but the idea of setting up a projector to view a washed-up image seemed like a fun party trick novelty. I think what first interested me in the Freestyle projector was that it basically had all the features of a smart TV built right in. Also, being part of the Samsung ecosystem meant that integration would be easy. The second feature that I found interesting was the compact size and portability of the projector. You can literally take this thing anywhere that you can have access to an outlet (or an external battery pack). The idea of not having a bunch of wires to plug in a computer or try and mirror my phone was very interesting to me as well. And in these instances, the Freestyle knocks it out of the park. It is not a 4K image, but even at its max 100-inch picture size, the quality of the image is fantastic. In addition, the setup was really easy, especially if you already have Samsung devices. The auto-correction and adjustment capabilities of the projector will make you easily look like an entertainment pro. I had a top-end 75-inch TV that recently went to TV heaven, and although this doesn't quite match that experience, it is pretty close at about a third of the cost. While the sound on the projector is actually quite good, it also easily connects to Bluetooth speakers to enhance the experience. You will certainly love access to all your favorite apps, which basically make the projector a smart TV on the go. The only minor downfalls I found with this projector is that when projecting on a screen, it is still washed out in the daylight, I tried a few other surfaces and had some better luck, but you could easily adjust for that in your viewing and with the SmartThings app. Inside it is much better. The other issue is that the projector does get very hot, so you definitely do not want to leave it plugged in or leave it on when you are not using it. These are both minor, and overall, this projector will significantly enhance your outside (and even inside) entertainment experience.

I struggled to get it working initially, the remote wouldn't work properly but once I charged it for a while it worked fine. My projector also didn't adjust the image to the correct shape automatically like it should. I found that auto Keystone was off in the settings. Once I turned this on it worked correctly although it still needs slight manual adjustment occasionally. The projector feels well built and like a quality bit of kit. The included USB-C power cable could be longer to allow more options for positioning the projector. It's a little disappointing not to have a Micro-HDMi cable included considering the price. I imagine Samsung expect most user's will stream content from other devices. Picture quality is excellent provided you have the right conditions. If you have a smooth, plain wall in a dark room you get sharp, bright, HD images. I've watched films, sport and Netflix and the projector has coped well with all of them. If the room isn't completely dark you can still use the projector but it's not nearly as good. The ease of setting it up makes the projector ideal for taking on the move, just turn it on and point it at a wall or ceiling and you're ready to go! The sound quality seems very good. It's no match for a surround sound system or separate speakers but has been perfectly acceptable and I haven't had to go higher than 70 on the volume scale. The software on the projector seems a little clunky. It's sometimes a bit laggy moving through menus, particularly if you are using your phone as a remote. It has all the common streaming services built in so you can just log in if you have an account which is handy. The ambient settings are a nice idea. You can set it to project "Happy Birthday" onto a surface which would be nice for parties, or you can project a fire onto the wall instead of having a real one in a fireplace! The carry case seems very solid and I'm sure it would protect the projector in a backpack or in the boot of a car. There is no space for the plug, cable and remote in the case which is a shame as these could easily get lost. Surely it would make more sense to have a slightly larger case that all the accessories fit in. Overall I'm impressed with the Freestyle. It is quite expensive for something that's probably more of a gimmick than something many people actually need but I like it nonetheless!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having had the freestyle for just over a week now, we have used it a number of times with a mix of video types. Unboxing was fairly simple, minimal packaging but at the same time it felt secure and that it wouldn't have received damage on transit. Setting up the freestyle was easy and simple, the hardest bit was getting the remote to pair, but that might have been my own stupidity. Whenever you turn it on or move where it's pointing it will auto focus and keystone without asking. The majority of the time this is accurate and on point, occasionally it does require a little adjustment, but this is more when your projecting to a non flat surface. Ive used this projector at night for a film but also in a duim but not dark room whilst watching football, both of which work well. I've always been a fan of Samsung devices so this works well with the infrastructure I already have, being able. To use the apps built in or Using Smart View with apps not found on the projector. The speaker quality is good and definitely loud enough with the examples I've used it in, I can't wait to be able to use in summer in the garden for movies and sporting events. The mood lighting that comes with it isn't something I think I would use, seems a bit of a gimic but I will try it at some point. The operating system on it feels a little clunky, partly due to it not being android which I expected so it wasn't as intuitive as I would have liked, there still seems to be bits I need to learn. I guess this isn't necessarily Samsung fault, it's just not as easy to pick up. The menus and remote use seem a little laggy, although fairly straightforward. I need to learn the easy ways to get to adjustments etc. I'm not a sure it'd ever replace a TV and potentially that isn't what they're trying for anyway, and I've yet to try running it off of a battery pack to see how long it lasts. The other thing that I wanted to mention with the freestyle is the case for the projector that came with it is great for transporting it about, I just wish it had space for the remote and/or cables for its use as I find them getting chucked into a bag, with potentially for damage or loss. I'm not 100% the marketed price would get me to purchase it normally as I think it would then become a neccesity rather than a want, and I wouldn't say I needed a projector, but at a slightly cheaper price it's then a want and therefore, it's affordable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So the Samsung The Freestyle has really impressed me since it arrived and I can confidently say that it is a lot better than I expected or anticipated it would be. As always with Samsung products, the build quality is second to none, the device is light enough to be incredibly portable, but it has a sturdy weight that makes it feel that it is a premium, high quality product. It is very easy to set up, 'plug in and play', and after syncing my Samsung Account, it was all ready to go! The two areas which I was concerned about was a) Picture Quality at larger screen size and b) Picture Brightness at larger screen size; but after extensive use I was amazed with how good it was in terms of Brightness and Picture Quality, even at the 100" screen size, and instantly my concerns were gone. The remote control is a handy addition and it works in a very similar way to standard smart TV remotes and a lot of applications came pre installed. Once I was signed into the various apps, I just couldn't stop watching videos and films both on the wall and the ceiling. The fact you can take it anywhere and have a Smart TV/Cinema experience on-the-go is brilliant. The auto focus, keystone and rotation works well so no matter what angle the projector is facing my viewing surface, I have always got a perfectly straight image. It is also easy to do it manually if needed, and to navigate the picture settings is also a seamless process. Using the smart features with 'Samsung Smart Things App' is great so you don't need the packaged remote and can use your phone instead and the 'Tap View' screen sharing has also worked very well allowing easy casting of phone content on a huge screen. The speaker is great considering the size and the other capabilities of The Freestyle and it is provides you with so many options. A smart assistant, a Cinema screen experience, mood lighting, ambient lighting, a second screen for productivity, all of it gives you so many uses and you can take them wherever you go. The included carry case is fantastic, feels and looks durable and will provide great protection for the device when carrying it out and about. All in all this product has far exceeded my expectations and once you start using it, you just don't want to stop and has certainly been the eye catching talking point to others who have seen it! Been super impressed with everything about it! Certainly puts the Style in Freestyle!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited to receive this product, I really did have such high hopes. I love Samsung products and have pretty much a full house kitted out in it from Fridge Freezers to monitors, microwaves, TV's and mobile phones. So that should give you an insights into how much I wanted this product to be great. So let me just cover some of the bad points first: No integrated battery - so all of the use cases for this product for me were about portability, but without my additional battery pack it just didn't work. It feels like this should have been included. Brightness - when you use it anywhere other than a darkened room, it just wasn't bright enough for me. So I even bought a mobile projection screen to trial it outside, but I had to wait until it was so dark before I could truly enjoy it. Now don't get me wrong, with the fire on and the darkness settling in, it was a great experience but it would have been nicer to do it in the daytime. Auto adjustment: OK so this was a good and bad point. It really depended on the surface type, but I honestly found that going into the settings and manually tweaking the focus would allow me to get a clearer picture. However the convenience of the device doing it, was neat for a quick plug and play approach. Price: this is possibly one of the biggest negatives for me. The price feels excessive, lets be honest nobody "needs" this device, its a luxury item so I get it is expensive, but you could have bought a decent 50" TV, a mini projector and a decent power bank for roughly the same. So I would really struggle to justify the RRP without everything being perfect. OK now onto the good points: Portability: so if you do have a power bank that's capable of delivering the PD required 65w (which I do) it's really portable. But please see the earlier point about brightness for why this isn't always great! Setup: It was speedy and self explanatory, hardest part is logging into all of my existing streaming services on the device as I like to set unique and complex passwords for everything! Case: Nice solid case comes with it! Sound quality: It has a surprisingly good sound quality, very impressed with the range and depth of sound. The woofer handles the content well. Overall, it's the price that really takes the edge off for me. It's a good device, not great though and with it being badged at the high end of the market, I would have expected it to have been perfect. It fell short i'm afraid!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] From the initial industry reviews, and the launch RRP, my expectations for the Freestyle were high. Unboxing was good. Packaging was excellent, well designed and clearly a push by Samsung to become more sustainable. The Freestyle has a reassuring build quality and remains very stable on the built-in stand no matter which angle you point it. It also has a neat power cable, simple power brick and easy connections. The travel case is good quality and is made from a sturdy plastic that breeds confidence. Unfortunately, the performance didn't match the build quality. For what is an expensive piece of AV equipment, the software and menu interface lagged significantly. Whether this is a hardware or firmware issue remains to be seen, but the menu speed was comparable to my 4 year old Samsung 4K smart TV. This was a let-down for a 2022 product. I've never owned a projector, but I do have a wide range of AV tech. Setting up, the automatic adjustment works really well with minor tweaks required on only a couple of occasions to get the picture 100% square. In the 2 weeks that we've had the Freestyle, we've tested as many types of programming as possible including sport, film and animation (tested by the 6 year old). In very low light/darkness, the picture is bright and crisp, which is the minimum I was expecting from a product of this type. The ability to easily project the image onto most surfaces is a nice touch which sets the Freestyle apart from other products (the 6 year old loved lying in bed, watching films on her ceiling!). However, in anything resembling daylight, the Freestyle is almost unusable as the brightness isn't high enough (at around 500 lumens). The picture quality was washed out and there is no situation that I would use this indoors over a comparatively priced TV. Adding to the sub-par daylight picture performance, the sound quality is very poor, made worse by the cooling fan noise. Connecting to a quality Bluetooth speaker was a work-around but takes away from the portable nature of the Freestyle. As an all-in-one device, I can see where the Freestyle could appeal to some, but this is a niche product. Those looking to replace a TV with the Freestyle will be disappointed, as will those looking to use this as a music streaming device or smart speaker. We'll use the Freestyle occasionally for 'garden cinema' in the summer, but I can't recommend this because of the RRP. It's simply too expensive for an occasional use product.

I like how it's small and portable, you can set it up in a movie room, and then you can easily pack it up and take it camping or set it up for a neighborhood outside movie night. The picture can be small or huge depending on the space you have available! You can have it set at any angle possible it seems. Sound and picture are awesome! Movies look HD, sound has a few options to choose from. If I could use the projector in my living room in the daytime I'd totally replace my TV with this projector. Unfortunately it does need to be mostly dark for a good picture. The projector provides tons of TV and movie options. We have a subscription to alot of the streaming apps that are out there so the projector is very useful to us particularly because of this. We are using this daily. Just a few of the apps that are included are, Netflix, Disney + , Samsung plus TV ( that's actually free to watch), YouTube, Discovery + , Hulu, Prime video, HBO max, paramount + , etc.. And you can connect your home cable tv. We have Spectrum cable and it includes the Spectrum TV app. Mine did not include paper directions, but I found it very easy to set up. The only problem I had at set up was the Auto focus was not working correctly. I could not get a clear picture. So when I finished the initial set up, I went into the menu and did a manual focus in the focus menu. After a few days I went back into the focus menu and tried the auto focus again and it worked great this time. I don't know if it needed updating or what, but works great now. Everything in the menu is user friendly, and easy to understand. There is an E-Manual under the support menu so you can get information on everything this projector does without contacting the company or searching online. The projector also has Bluetooth so you can hook your phone up to it or any Bluetooth device. It also has gaming mode which my partner and kids love of course, and would be great to connect our N. switch to it. I don't think it would be powerful enough for a serious gamer, but would be good for a little kid that doesn't care too much. The remote is rechargeable, I was actually really surprised when I saw that it was rechargeable with USB-C, and that's the cord it comes with. When your not using the projector you can unplug it and plug in the remote. Also if you have a Samsung tv, this remote will turn on your TV and vice versa. One con is the remote can be slow to react.

As a projector with built in speaker and only one lead needed with onboard streaming services, along with it being automatically adjusted to the environment makes this a fantastic little projector for fun moments. Movie night with the kids or a sports event with your friends. But it is not a replacement for your TV. So with that in mind, the downsides, the onboard tizen software is either in need of a patch or most likely just underpowered and as such is slow, sluggish and at time 2 or 3 clicks behind, for a modern device is not expected and for a Samsung device it's unforgivable. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The moment I unboxed Freestyle, it was obvious that Samsung has a winner in their hands purely because of the simple reason, that this thing is almost the size of my coffee mug and as someone who has been toying with the idea of getting a small TV in the bedroom due to space, this was a liberated feeling. I instantly took it to my bedroom and set it up and voila, it was 100 inch amazing! Design & Connectivity: The exterior of the projector is covered with a soft rubber-like material that should offer protection against minor bumps and scratches. In terms of ports, it has a USB C for power, HDMI1.4 which supports eARC and at the top is the mic on off switch. There are three mics on the device to use with Bixby or Alexa and at the bottom is where the 360 degree speaker is and hidden behind the rubber flap is the socket to use as a table top projector. The front of the unit has a removable cap which also functions as a lamp and under it is the lens along with touch-sensitive controls for power and volume as well as a spot to tap for easily connecting smartphones. This device also supports Bluetooth 5.2, Wi-Fi 5 and airplay 2 which makes this a very versatile device. Apps, Picture & Sound: The lens has peak brightness of 550 lumens, pretty good for night time viewing and day time with curtains closed. Colours and clarity of the footage from the device is incredible considering the size and my initial worry of this just being a 1080p device were instantly quashed. The device comes with all major streaming apps like Prime video, Netflix, Apple TV, Disney etc. I tested the device with all of these and few of my 4k blu ray discs and came out feeling very good and am convinced that this can be my full time 'TV' in the bedroom. The sound quality from the device is pretty good and there is decent level of bass to satisfy most people even to use as a stand alone speaker for music. The added features under ambient mode makes this a very unique projector which can be used for various purposes including parties, wall art, calendar etc which makes this standout from competition. Gaming: As for gamers, I tested this with my Nintendo Switch, Laptop and PlayStation 5 and again came out feeling pretty impressed, till I tried it I didn't realise how fun it was to play on a 100inch screen especially multiplayer games like Mario Kart, I think this device can be a serious option for gamers because of its small footprint especially if you are struggling for space in your room for a big TV. I definitely see myself take this with me while travelling to have a standalone large screen anywhere I go and with the travel case, I won't have any worry about damaging it. Conclusion: In conclusion, it has everything I'm looking for from a standalone portable projector and with the added features like ambient mode and Samsung TV plus, there is just so much you can do on this compared to it closest competition. The compact size is a major plus as this can easily fit a small bedside table and when not being used as a projector could easily be a standalone speaker. Overall I'm thoroughly satisfied and would totally recommend this to anyone looking for a portable projector. Let me just say I loved the layout once opening the box. very organized. It’s so pretty! I love the round design and the cradle that allows you to project on any surface. The size I can already tell you makes it easier to take on the go or even to a different room if you wanted. All you need is the projector, internet, and the power cable and block that came with it. After admiring the projector, I took off the protective lens cap and the film. If you look closely to the face, you will notice the volume up and down logos that makes it easy to adjust when the remote is not in reach. Once taking out the cords it was easy to plug in. Once you plug it in and power on the projector, the remote paired instantly so I didn’t have to do it manually. I was able to log into my Samsung account using my phone which I loved. I also used the remote for setup rather than my phone though it was faster. Everything took about 10 minutes I would say if that to fully get the projector set up. I was logging in into my accounts so that they would be connected to make my experience with the projector and what it offered better. Once I got to the home screen, I was literally happy because it was like having a smart tv inside the projector. It offered all the great tv shows/movie apps that I enjoy as well as some games that I could play. I wondered about live tv and pressed the CC/AD and was able to find new/cartoons/music/cooking shows and so much more. The Samsung freestyle projector offers 5w full range speakers that enhances your experience. I use mine in my kitchen on our high walls and turn volume all the way up (100) and its loud. You get that full surround sound. The picture quality is magnificent. Its high quality and very clear. There are so many things you can watch on this projector. When I say it’s like a smart tv, I mean just that. So much variety on tv and movie apps. They carry 44 game apps, so many kinds of music apps and sports and other stuff. There is never a reason to not watch something. They also have Sling TV for those who don’t have cable. I’ve been watching the projector since I got it and I love it. My husband and I had date night and used the ambient selection to have a fireplace in the background with music to set the mood. (Home button then press the left button and you’ll see it in the option above media). There are a few things I truly love about using the Samsung Freestyle projector. 1. The white color and the sleek design. Its fresh, modern and very stylish. 2. I love, love, love the size of the projector. I can easily put in my purse and take it anywhere. Its very lightweight and easy to transport 3. I love that I’m able to mirror/cast and Bluetooth from my iPhone with ease thanks to airplay on projector. Its not laggy at all which was nice. 4. I love that I’m able to use voice assistant Alexia to assist me with all my needs while using the projector. It takes seconds for alexia to hear me and do as I command. No long waits. 5. I love the 360 sound that comes from the projector. Its loud and can be heard very clearly. The projector has 5w range speakers. 6. I love the streaming apps that it has. I’ll name a few Disney+, ESPN, Spotify, Netflix, Prime video, YouTube, SiriusXM and so many more. 7. Ambient must be one of the smartest things in the projector’s features. I'm able to set the mood for any occasion or upload my own pictures and use those. I love to have options. 8. I love that I can set it up in my “SmartThings” app. For those who have apple iPhone/iPad, its the “Home” app but for Samsung. Overall, I have been loving this projector. I don’t have anything bad to say about it. It has everything I could need on it. The sound is amazing and loud. The picture is perfect and clear. i was really excited about the freestyle and pre-ordered it right away. very sad to be writing this review but stay away from this thing. the software is a laggy, buggy mess - some highlights: just getting around the menu is unbelievably laggy streaming shows stutter and freeze settings either can't be changed, or don't react until you press the button multiple times somehow my brightness and gamma got bugged to huge negative values, and they can't be fixed by even a factory reset. factory reset doesn't seem to do anything except sign you out. trying to change the values manually does nothing. honestly shocked a company as large as samsung would release a product as broken as this. sincerely hope they can fix the issues with future software updates but right now - it's unusable.

Very easy to connect to wi-fi and lots of apps to use. Have got the ring doorbell to work with it. I would have given projector five stars if only could play sound through my Alecia studio using Bluetooth. So far how to connect the two for that eludes us. However alexia is connecting for other things. I can open prime movies etc. That aside I would recommend this to everyone we are very pleased with picture quality and the full screen looks spectacular at night.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using the Samsung Freestyle projector for about two weeks now and it's been amazing. The projector is about the size of a can of coffee but it is very bright and smart. The projector has the native Samsung TV software installed and can run apps for Netflix, Disney+, AppleTV, Amazing Prime Video, HBO Max, etc. There were some keystone issues in the beginning, but everything was fixed a small software update. The unit is powered over an USB C adaptor that comes with the projector. You can also plug in a miniHDMI in the port to project from your computer or streaming unit. The cable for the miniHDMI port is not included. Sound was very good for such a small unit and brightness was perfect in dim rooms. I would recommend this projector to anyone looking for a small portable unit that packs a punch in video quality.

The projector was easy to set up and use, the instructions were plain and easy to follow, quick, easy, and self explanatory. I was able to sign into my account with Samsung fast with no issue. The picture produced is of the greatest quality with crisp and clear display. Unmatched easy to find button to control the unit. Samsung is a leader in technology and proves it with this projector.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] easy to set up, especially being a devoted samsung user. had it up and running in under 2 minutes! took it out back and during daylight it was pretty washed out as expected, but as dusk and evening settled in, it was amazing. great sound from a small unit and the picture was fantastic! i even attempted to project a football game into an inside corner of the back of my house and in seconds it corrected the image. love this little projector so far!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] wow, this thing is an amazing piece of engineering. the freestyle projector has all the latest features; auto focus and keystone, screen mirroring and airplay, built in smart apps, etc. and the picture quality is amazing. very bright colors with crisp images and this was tested in a fully lit room. i am sure the quality only gets better with dark rooms or night time. as far as the speaker is concerned, it gets the job done and is good enough to sit through an entire movie. the volume is fairly loud and there is enough bass and treble to get through movies. the coolest part is that you can connect a bluetooth speaker of your choosing to enhance the sound and theater experience.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This projector actually blew me away. I am used to the light from a projector being annoying and not good enough to look at but this projector must have something HD or very high quality in it since it gives off an amazing view. It also self adjusts to many different screen areas which was very shocking to see in action and to see just how accurately is was able to adapt even every few seconds if you keep moving it. The fact that it is portable means I can have a screen in my bedroom or even on the ceiling! The sound loudness and quality is good enough but not amazing but it works well! The product also looks very sleek and modern and is easy to plug in and get going. It also seamlessly connects to my Samsung Smart Things app which is another reason I am slowly becoming Samsung for almost everything. For all the above reasons, this projector blew me away and deserves the highest praise.

The built in apps make it easy to watch movies or shows on the most popular streaming platforms. The brightness could be a little better but it performs well in rooms with little to no ambient light. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Freestyle is a fully portable full hd projector from Samsung. The cylindrical shape makes it so adaptable, it also gives it a full 360° to pump out its surround sound and the sound is incredible. It comes in minimal eco friendly packaging and can be set up in minutes. You literally just need to plug it in and go. , It comes preprogrammed with everything you could possibly need from Netflix, Amazon prime, Disney+ along with Alexa, Google and Bixby. I was sitting with popcorn, watching a movie within minutes of getting the projector out of the box. The picture is incredible and how it auto corrects and focuses the screen is fantastic. More than just a projector its a homebub and with an additional hdmi cable it even allows you to play your games consoles. It's been a huge success in our household and I can't wait till the weather warms up and we get to have our own movie night in our back garden.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was super excited to try this projector for tabletop gaming. I bought the light socket adapter accessory, which not only allows me to power the projector without running cables, but also allows it to be securely mounted in my ceiling without brackets or screws! I can project my battle maps down onto a white board for my tabletop campaigns, and the wireless connectivity allows me to use it as a second screen from the laptop without running cables. My players love the interactivity! And if that wasn't enough, the projector is also a full-fledged smart TV and speaker, with Bixby and Alexa functionality built in. It's so portable, I can bring it camping or to a friend's house easily. My one slight annoyance is that the auto-keystone feature doesn't seem to read the surface/angle properly without intervention, but I'm sure that can be fixed with firmware. Overall, I love it and would highly recommend it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The auto adjust doesn't work as well as I thought it would. Getting the device hooked up to a Bluetooth speaker was simple, but to selecf the projector to use the Bluetooth speaker was a whole different experience. You can't use the projector speaker alone outdoors, it is not loud enough. Overall, it is an okay device. If I would have known the mediocre of the device I would not have paid $1000. Also, 3 days after I purchased, they lowered the price AND also gave an option to receive free if you purchase a new phone. I would have much rather purchased a phone and received this free. I'm not too pleased with the whole situation, but it is what it is and I'll use it with the kids movie nights

It’s design, the lightness and size how easy it is to setup and use. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were happy to open the Samsung Freestyle Projector packaging, all necessary items for use were included. We have Samsung products in our home, so I think that helped when installing, operating the projector. We used the wall above the tv to preview the projector, as you can see in the photo. The picture was extremely clear. The auto-leveling is amazing. The ease of just placing the Samsung Freestyle on the table and the screen will auto level. perfection. We cannot wait to use this projector when the grand come over and have a movie afternoon! I'm thinking of pallets on the floor and Disney on the ceiling. We are grateful to be able to receive the Samsung Freestyle Projector to test.
