I researched on a lot of forumns and spent hrs researching which OLED TV to buy. The panel is a QD OLED, which makes the color a lot more vibrant and it pops! Upgrading from a QLED, the contrast and clarity of the S85F is amazing! The blacks are inky black the reds, cyans, purples, blues really pop! The brightness is nothing to worry about as I have to actually turn it down most of the time.The S85F really blew me away after I optimized it to my liking. I loaded up Batman The Dark Knight Rises bluray and OMG! The realism the picture quality produces is something ive honestly never experienced before its so beautiful.It still blows my away evertime I turn it on. I cant emphasize how much time I spent on researching which OLED to buy and now I know I made a great decision. If your looking to get into OLED TVs, the S85F will not disappoint ..I promise.

Great picture quality. Great for a World Cup soccer games and other sporting events. No lag. Also great for movies. Ask for the quality of the product, initial TV I got had a street of neon dots that were clearly a defect Spoke to Samsung and they performed several resets but quickly realized that it was a hardware issue. Samsung replaced the unit with another new unit quickly and had it delivered the same week. New unit is perfect and we are very happy with it. Especially love how brightness changes as sunlight in the room changes.

The panel quality is really amazing, color is brilliant and vibrant. Peak brightness is amazing and good for HDR content. The ai image engine works like a charm which upscales legacy resolution video to fit the modern look and make it smoother frame rates. When connected with external devices 2 out of 4 HDMI ports support 120hz which can provide great gaming experience. This panel is Pantone certified which content creators can use this TV as their monitor as well. This version of the Tizen OS runs pretty smoothly but still has the same issues as all other versions- when the TV runs for long periods of time, the UI may slow response for couple seconds. Overall this TV performance super great and really fits my home, love the building quality and panel performance! Highly recommend!

I followed their instructions and have the brightness at the highest setting and changed the mode to give me the lightest picture, but it still stinks. They keep telling me this is normal, but what's normal about not being able to see what is happening on your tv? Daytime scenes and sports are great which is why i gave it two stars rather than zero. I will never, ever buy a Samsung tv again. My advice is to buy any other tv. This one is terrible!

Watching movies at night is a totally new experience-the blacks are perfect, and everything just pops with color. It was super easy to set up, and the Smart TV system (Tizen OS) is quick and simple to navigate. I really appreciate the solar-powered remote; I haven't had to think about batteries once! My only small complaint is that my living room gets a lot of sun, and sometimes the screen can look a little dimmer or show reflections if I don't close the blinds. But for gaming and late-night viewing, this TV is top-notch and a great value for an OLED."

Setup was a breeze; had it up and running in like 10 minutes tops. It’s ridiculously thin, too—probably the slimmest TV I’ve ever owned. Still need to figure out a wall mount since it’s so slim, but totally worth it. The picture quality genuinely blew me away. Colors pop, blacks are actually deep black—not that weird gray I got used to on my old TV. Gaming is a huge step up thanks to the 120Hz refresh rate, making fast action look silky smooth. No more blooming issues either, which was always annoying on the LCD. I love how the built-in apps make everything easy, and the Samsung TV Plus channels are a cool bonus when I get bored of Netflix. Plus, watching HDR content now looks ridiculously good, especially since Netflix added HDR10+ support. It almost feels 3D at times; stuff on screen looks like I could just reach out and grab it. Sound-wise, it syncs perfectly with my Samsung soundbar—way more immersive than I expected. Also, props to the solar-powered remote—no more hunting for batteries, thank God. I just wish they’d bring back the dedicated HDMI input button on the remote; that’s honestly my only complaint. I seriously can’t imagine going back to a regular TV after this. If you’re on the fence, just go for it—you definitely won’t regret it.

The S85F delivers stunning picture depth and color, excellent sound, and cool software features. I have AI mode turned on to control both the picture and sound. All the colors pop on the screen and no adjustments are needed. The unboxing was easy and the TV was light enough to lift out on your own. The instant I turned on my Samsung TV, it detected Samsung SmartThings on my Samsung phone and paired it with ease. After a quick software update and my S85F TV was ready to go. While it did come with a solar remote, I find using my phone as the remote as it offers a lot of choice at my fingertips. I find myself intuitively using the mouse pad and point and click throughout the TV. There are a lot of software features. The Ambient mode turns my TV into a work of art when the TV is not in use. The built in light sensor adjust the brightness of the based on the room's lighting. While the sound sensor provides an alert on my phone if the TV picks up loud sounds. The Daily Board adds weather and the ability to record a memo on the TV. It can also turn my phone into a Karaoke Mic to sing Karaoke with the TV and provide screen mirroring with my phone. The S85F detects automatically whenever I play a game and switches to Game Mode automatically. The AI button provides additional information on the television shows that I am watching like who is the cast and suggests what to watch next.

This OLED isn't as bright as my previous QLED but that is the big difference between QLED and OLED in my opinion. It's extremely easy to setup and automatically finds anything that you attach to it, like Sky or EE box, surround sounds, playstations etc and you can then easily switch to these through the source button, anybody could setup this TV. The only thing you need to do is connect to small feet to the bottom of the TV which act as the stand. The sound of this TV is very good, does it give a surround like sound, unfortunately not but you wouldn't need the volume too high to get a crisp clear sound and there are different settings for when you listen to music etc which does enhance the sound. The remote control is very simple to use and if you want you can also connect your smartphone to it which enables you to control the TV from your phone. It has a screensaver on the TV which comes on if your on apps if you've not touched it for a while which is great for energy saving. The remote also gives options to automatically go to apps like amazon and YouTube which makes it easier. There is also a smart TV remote which is exactly the same but a lot smaller, and is solatlr powered and charges through light. All in all a high quality TV, 55 inch is a perfect fit for our front room, it's ultra slim and can be fit yo a wall and has the brackets within the box. I always say go as big as you can with a TV as long as it fits. If you do purchase this you won't be disappointed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have the S95B, S95C, and S95D flagship Samsung OLED TV's, so my expectations were tempered for the entry level S85F OLED going into it. I can honestly say my expectations were set way too low. The S85F is full of premium features that even some of my previous years' flagship models didn't ship with. The color is obviously rich and accurate, and the blacks are deep and inky, which you would expect from a Samsung OLED. But this TV includes a whole host of cutting edge smart features that it would take all day to list. I love the new UI. My previous TV's got the One UI update, but they don't implement it the way this year's TV launch with it. I love the fact that Samsung is finally using the mobile UI we all know and love in a practical way on their TV lineup. One UI is so much better than the old Tizen OS. Everything is controlled, tweaked, and accessed through pop-up windows instead of the entire screen being populated. It allows you to tweak settings without missing part of a show. I also like the integration of Samsung's Daily Board. This allows your TV to display useful info using voice commands, even when the TV is turned off. Samsung is always at the forefront of cutting edge but practical features. I'm using the S85F with my new HW-Q990F Dolby Atmos surround soundbar. The Q-Symphony function allows you to incorporate the TV's speakers as additional satellites in the surround setup. The result is an even more atmospheric soundscape. The S85F provides premium, flagship level features at the price on an entry level TV. You will not be disappointed when you put this TV in your home.

I recently purchased the Samsung 83-inch OLED TV, and the panel uniformity is excellent. The screen is remarkably clean with no noticeable dirty screen effect, banding, or tinting during normal viewing. Dark scenes appear uniform, and bright scenes maintain consistent brightness across the entire panel. Sports, movies, and gaming all look fantastic thanks to the OLED’s perfect blacks and outstanding contrast. I specifically checked for gray-screen uniformity issues and was pleased to find very minimal imperfections. This TV is absolutley jaw droppingly stunning. Clean crisp pictures with bright bold colors and the darkest darks to really allow things to pop. The picture quality is so beautiful and realistic it appears as if you're being submerged into the picture. The sound quality was also very nice ! I prefer pairing my Samsung TVs with a soundbar, but even without one attached this TV certainly can deliver! I did have to help with wall mounting. Samsung didn't include any hardware so keep this in mind. That aside though this beautiful TV will blow your mind and I couldn't recommend it more.

Its NQ4 AI Gen2 processor and 4K AI upscaling provides an outstanding 4K resolution, with great color mapping and brightness boosting. The tv is lightweight and very thin. They have put so much attention to the details in the design. There are two options for the legs installation. They could be further apart so closer in the center like the way that I installed. This way I could use the small tv table that I already have and don’t need to purchase a large table for this TV. There are even covers provided for the slots that you don’t use and I love this much attention to details. Many apps are already available on the tv so it makes it much easier to use. The remote is very thin and chargeable which I absolutely love, saves me battery. The only thing that I’m not so fond of is the design of the legs. I find them too narrow and not necessarily stable. I prefer the older designs with a bit wider legs. Other than that I love this tv.

After purchasing my new Samsung smart TV I have not been more surprised at the beautiful picture this television has. The resolution is stunning connecting. My add-ons was a breeze, and everything went seamlessly. The e-arc connection was perfect for my audio system and the sound is awesome. Since my phone is also Samsung, it took almost no time at all to set it up and get all my apps and accounts added in. Took some time to figure out how to navigate around, about a half hour, but I'm almost a pro at it now, so I can honestly say it's very intuitive. i love the depth of picture. Even old movies have a new patina to them. The colors are very vivid, enough to give you vertigo if you're not used to it. The ONLY problem I encountered is with the remote. Just can't figure out how to raise/lower volume except to mute it, so I would suggest to Samsung that they have a separate, dedicated button JUST for volume control. Had to download an unaffiliated remote app to my phone to get the volume to respond. Other than that, COMPLETELY happy with this Smart TV! UPDATE: Shoulda asked a teenager for help before posting my review. Turns out, the 'volume' bar actually moves UP AND DOWN, too. So it works fine, too. There was no user manual in the box, which would have helped with the learning curve.

Deep blacks that actually look black, not that washed-out dark gray you get with older TVs. It’s got a high refresh rate and barely any input lag. I plugged in my PS5 and it was like I’d been playing on the wrong screen my whole life. Firstly, the picture quality is excellent, with super vibrant colors thanks to OLED tech and Color Booster Pro. Black color is super Black. When I watch a movie or my son plays video games on TV, it gives that vibrant burst of colors. Another element that popped while watching older movies and animations was how older movies were sharp and well-defined. The AI feature in Samsung TV is just amazing for keeping up with new advancements. One of the most striking feature was the sound of the TV. Dolby Atmos and Object tracking sound made watching movies very entertaining, as it felt like we were in a movie theater and the sound was following the action on the screen. Also, I don’t have to turn the volume up or down, it just blends in seamlessly. One IU Tizen feature is easy to navigate, also Samsung has preinstalled Samsung TV for free content. I can’t stop swooning over this TV with sleek shape and high performance, along with smart features. This TV has won mine my family, and we are enjoying every minute.

I knew I needed to upgrade my TV to a faster processor to watch all my apps, and this did not disappoint. The operating system is fast and responsive, the remote (which can charge itself with light!) is simple and intuitive, and I haven't even gotten to the picture yet. It takes a little time to set up the picture the first time for the best visuals depending on what you're watching (movies, sports, video games, reality TV). The Motion Xcelerator 120Hz really helped me understand why everyone says you need 120Hz, it makes gaming motion looks crystal clear and helps you see the puck in a hockey game like you were there in person. But once you know what you need to set it to it often feels like I am in the show not watching it. Yet sometimes I still have some trouble finding the right settings for a certain show I am watching, but just by turning on AI mode I can solve that issue immediately. It takes advantage of the NQ4 AI Gen 2 Processor that automatically detects what is on the screen and optimizes settings based on the genre! I can have perfection without having to tinker. If you can add on a Samsung soundbar that syncs with the TV speakers it really feels like a bougie setup with a small spatial footprint, perfect for smaller spaces.

Unfortunately, it has been somewhat of a disappointment. Previously, I owned a Samsung TV that cost less than half of this premium tv, and I honestly cannot say that this higher-priced model delivers a significantly better experience. The picture quality—while certainly good—is not noticeably superior in terms of color, contrast, or overall vibrancy. I expected a more striking difference at this price, but the improvement is minimal at best. The same goes for sound quality, which doesn’t stand out compared to my older, less expensive model. The biggest issue, however, is with a well-known streaming app. This TV has the same frustrating connection problem that I experienced on my previous Samsung. While using this app, the screen will intermittently display a connection error. It happens often enough to be genuinely annoying and disrupts viewing. What makes this especially frustrating is that it clearly isn’t an internet problem. First, the issue never occurs on any other app. Second, we have fiber optic service with more than enough speed to support streaming, so buffering or connectivity limitations should not be a factor. Overall, for the price, I expected a more noticeable improvement in performance and a fix for known app issues. As it stands, this TV feels more like a lateral move than an upgrade, with an ongoing glitch that Samsung still hasn’t resolved.

Nice TV - very slim, great picture, good sound. No soundbar required. Easy to install. My only negative feedback is the new Samsung main menu on the TV, that now includes "progamme suggestions" menus, which can't be turned off by all accounts. It makes the main menu screen overly busy with items I do not want. TV is 5 star, but rating 4 star because of this added feature. Hoping Samsung remove this annoying feature in a forthcoming software update. My prior TV did not have this. Dear Samsung - I purchased a TV, not a customer marketing experience! Please include an option to remove this on future software update.

Bought this TV about 4 months ago now and im super happy with it! The display and resolution are great and super vivid and we still havent removed the protective film (imagine that!). Thee sound is so good that we still havent added our sound system to it (thats how good it is). The connectivity is so useful and works really well too in terms of connecting out phones to it and using the remote from our phones on the app. Love this TV! There's so many great things about it, the fact that it can tilt as well is really useful as i can watch TV when not in the living room and am atill able to see the screen.

He tried split screen on the TV to see if he could make it work, and he said the quality was so good he could actually see better on the split screen than he could with full screen on our old TV that was bigger. So that's a huge win. I love how easy it is to control individual apps on the TV, so we can install what we want and delete what we don't want. Plus I can parent protect every app I don't want my kids to get on individually which I love! My kids can't get on YouTube without permission anymore. The remote that controls the TV has a solar charger in it, so I don't have to change batteries anymore. The TV picture is great, but i bpught this TV because my last Samsung TV did not last 1 year, then the company they sent to fix it destroyed it while replacing the screen panel that had completely failed. After I received no help from Samsung, the warranty team, or the company sent to fix the tv, I had to replace it so I bought this TV, after a couple months the screen failed on it as well.... I do believe i will probably cease to buy any more samsung TVs after this horroble experience which does suck because I always have been a loyal Samsung fan for all of my electronics

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This new S85F 55 inch OLED TV from Samsung is awesome and is available for an awesome price. Its amazing how many features you get with this TV and the cherry on top is that its OLED so you know you'll get the best display quality on the market. Upon receiving the TV I was surprised about its weight since it was so light that a person can pick up the box by themselves without issue. Unboxing the TV is easy enough that it does not require additional help and all that's needed for setup is to install the TV legs and then just plug in the TV and its sources and voila its ready. Turning on the TV is when you're greeted with an awesome bright display that produces a picture with lifelike colors that pop out at you. The sound quality on the TV is also top notch and can get quite loud with the adaptive sound pro mode. The gaming hub is a great addition for me because I can stream games through the TV without having a dedicated PC connected for example. Also playing games on the TV is great since the goes up to 120hz for smooth 120fps gameplay. This TV is by far the best bang for the buck when it comes to OLED.

Right out of the box, the picture just pops the blacks are so deep, it's like looking into another dimension. And while I'm usually one to tinker with settings endlessly, the AI actually does a surprisingly good job. I noticed it smoothing out some of the grain in older content, which was a nice touch. The design is sleek and understated; it doesn't scream for attention, which is exactly what I wanted. It just blends into our entertainment center nicely. Sound-wise, I was prepared to immediately hook up my old soundbar, but the built-in audio is surprisingly rich and clear. It's definitely more than adequate for everyday viewing, and even for a casual movie night, it holds its own. Setup was a breeze, and it quickly recognized all our devices. While I'm not a huge gamer, my partner was impressed with how smoothly our console ran. Overall, this TV feels like a solid investment. It's not just about the pretty picture; it's the smart features and the overall seamless experience that make it a winner in my book.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Was looking to upgrade the bedroom/gaming TV from an 40" LCD to a 55" OLED and was blown away by the S85F. As the entry level model of Samsung's 2025 line-up I wasn't sure what tradeoffs I would have to make but this TV is a no compromise OLED. Samsung's entry level OLED is better than the mid-tier models from just a few years back. The brightness is great on HDR content and the contrast and deep blacks you get with an OLED make gaming even better. Very happy to not have to deal with the blooming effect of my LCD TV. The Q-Symphony works seamlessly with my Samsung soundbar and Frame speaker, adding an extra depth to surround sound movies as well as enhancing the dialogue. The 120hz HDMI support makes this an ideal gaming TV and the Samsung TV Plus channels offer a good change of pace from the streaming services when you're looking for something to watch. And with the recent HDR10+ support added to Netflix, this TV is now able to get the best HDR quality from the leading streaming service. While the solar charging is amazing, I really hope Samsung brings back the dedicated HDMI input button on their remotes.

My Samsung TV is absolutely amazing. Sometimes it's too amazing that it’s just too complicated as well. The remote’s solar charging - does not work and we’d have to plug it almost everyday to charge it.. so you can imagine a remote tied to the wall because you cant use it unless its charged.. and it easily drains too. And I’m serious about it being too amazing. Love to to know all the ins and outs of the apps - like how to use Bimby and how to add other Apps like Angel Studio. Features are endless but I dont know how to use them. Instructions on the TV are unclear.

When I opened it, it was nicely packaged, so it was easy to take out. It comes with a small remote that fits perfectly in my hand. When using it with the computer, I can easily toggle over and connect properly without any hassle. The TV has a nice, sleek design that’s not too bulky, and I like the fact that I can hang it on the wall if I want to. Talking about the OLED panel, it has pretty deep blacks, and the OLED HDR combined with deep contrast and vivid bright colors makes the display top-notch. Switching from my computer to the monitor is smooth, and I can utilize games at 120Hz, which gives me nice, smooth, and crisp visuals. It also has Dolby Atmos and Object Tracking Sound, so the sound feels vivid and immersive all around me. With 4K AI upscaling, even regular videos look sharp and nice. Plus, the Auto Game Mode helps optimize the TV for gaming automatically, saving time on setup and letting me jump straight into playing. On the entertainment side, Samsung TV Plus offers thousands of free channels for when I just want to sit back, relax, and watch something.
