How to enable handwriting input on Samsung Galaxy Mobile Devices?

Composing message is never been easier. Samsung Galaxy Mobile Devices support handwriting input which allow you to use a stylus or your finger to write on the screen. Find out how to set the handwriting mode for the following models:

Please note: Steps demonstrated below are mainly for Samsung default keyboard. If you have downloaded 3rd party application for your keyboard, these steps may not be applicable

Galaxy S9 and S9+

To set handwriting in Samsung Galaxy S9/S9+ and Note9, follow these steps:

1 Tap Messages app
Tap Messages app
2 Select Compose New Message
Select Compose New Message
3 Tap Settings
Tap Settings
4 Select Languages and types
Select Languages and types
5 Tap Manage Input Languages
Tap Manage Input Languages
6 Select and enable preferred language
Select preferred language
Enabled preferred language
7 Swift keyboard to the preferred language and tap on Pen Icon.

If your Handwriting icon is not one of the default feature, click on the arrow down icon and tap on Handwriting icon. To use this feature as one of the default, drag the Handwriting icon to the top section
