Features

SmartThings AI Energy Mode

SmartThings AI Energy Mode

Monitor and reduce the washer’s energy use. AI Energy mode* lets you check the power consumption and estimate your electricity bill. For courses that operate in AI Energy mode**, it reduces energy use by up to 70%*** using Ecobubble™ to wash with cool water instead of warm and extra cycle time.

SmartThings AI Energy Mode SmartThings AI Energy Mode
SmartThings AI Energy Mode SmartThings AI Energy Mode

* Available on Android and iOS devices. A Wi-Fi connection and login to Samsung account are required.
** Can be applied when the selected washing temperature is 20~40°C.
*** Based on internal testing on the WW11BB944AGB model in normal usage conditions.
Results: Power consumption without AI Energy Mode = 0.539 KWh. Power consumption with AI Energy Mode = 0.145 KWh. Results may vary depending on the actual usage conditions.

Smart, gentle washing

AI Ecobubble™

Enjoy effective washing with AI Ecobubble™*. It creates bubbles that remove 24% more soil** even in cool water. It also detects the fabric type and adjusts the amount of bubbles, washing time, temperature and spin speed. So it saves up to 70% energy*** compared to washing in warm water and ensures 45.5% better fabric care****.

* AI Ecobubble™ is only activated when specific courses are selected, including Cotton, Synthetics and AI Wash with loads less than 2kg.
** Based on the Performance Lab Test report by Springboard Engineering on EMPA strips, comparing a normal detergent solution and bubble technology without mechanical action. Individual results may vary.
*** Compared to washing in warm water. Tested in accordance with IEC 60456-2010 / 4kg Wash Load / Super Eco Wash cold (WF80F5E5U4W) vs. Cotton 40°C without Ecobubble™ (WF0702WKU). Actual results may vary depending on individual use.
**** Based on an EMPA test on a 9kg model (WF906U4SAGD, Synthetics), with and without Ecobubble™. Data collected from individual tests. Actual results may vary depending on individual use.

Performance

Intelligently thorough

AI Wash

Wash clothes thoroughly* with less water and detergent. AI Wash senses the weight and softness of the fabric and the level of soiling. It then adjusts the water and detergent and the soaking, rinsing and spinning times. By analysing your washing pattern it can use less detergent**.

* Based on an AI-created algorithm. Actual results may vary depending on individual use. ** Compared to a regular Samsung auto dispenser, which is set to dispense the recommended amount of detergent. Based on the continuous analysis of the amount of detergent used in the last 10 cycles. Actual results may vary depending on individual use.

Choose to save time

QuickDrive™

Do your washing quickly. QuickDrive™ is a time-reducing option for 11 courses and, when activated, it reduces the washing time significantly*. Q-Bubble™ combines dynamic drum rotation with extra water shots to make abundant bubbles. So detergent penetrates rapidly and washes quickly and gently.

* Based on internal testing (in accordance with IEC 60456-2010) of the WW9400B cycles with the QuickDrive™ option compared to cycles without the QuickDrive™ option. Result: Wash time reduced by 12.6%-57.5%. Results may vary depending on the actual usage conditions.

Wash in 39 minutes

Super Speed

Cut your daily laundry time and get clothes thoroughly clean. Use Super Speed to wash a load in just 39 minutes*. QuickDrive™ saves time by moving clothes dynamically, while Ecobubble™ ensures powerful cleaning. The rinsing time is shortened using Speed Spray and it accelerates the spin speed.

* Based on using Super Speed at the default settings with a 5kg load.

Reduces microplastic

Less Microfiber Cycle

The Less Microfiber cycle works to make clothes shed less microplastics, which are discharged into the drain water. By adjusting the motor’s revolution speed and washing intensiveness, the Less Microfiber cycle reduces the amount of microfiber released into the drain water by up to 54%*.

* Based on testing by the Ocean Wise Plastics Lab using a 2kg load of 100% polyester hoodies, comparing the Synthetics cycle on a Samsung conventional model WW4000T and the Less Microfiber cycle on the WW7000B. Results may vary depending on the actual clothes and usage conditions.

Seamlessly stylish

SpaceMax™

Enhance your home and wash large loads with a huge 11kg capacity in a standard 600mm depth cabinet. A simple and flat design blends seamlessly with modern interiors and kitchen furniture. SpaceMax™ technology creates more space inside, so you can wash many clothes at once, including big items.

At the bottom left, SpaceMax™ feature is shown in icon. The depth of the washer drum has increased to 600mm, and the capacity has increased from 9kg to 11kg. It can wash even large duvet.

Stays looking good

Tempered Glass Door

Make sure your washing machine stays looking good for a long time, even if its Tempered Glass Door is frequently opened and touched. The strong and durable tempered glass is less likely to break or scratch compared to a plastic door. It also adds an elegant look and makes it easy to see inside.

Convenience

Save time & waste

Auto Dispense

Get great washing results with less waste and effort*. Auto Dispense automatically dispenses the right amount of detergent and fabric softener for each load. It has separate compartments for each, although both can be used for detergent, so there is no need to refill it after every wash**.

* Actual results may vary depending on individual use. ** Auto Dispense holds detergent for up to 1 month of washing, based on the average of 2~3 washes per week (5kg load/standard usage). May vary depending on the washing load and settings.

Intelligent washing

AI Control

Wash laundry easily and effectively with AI Control. It personalises washing by remembering your habits, suggesting cycles* and displaying timely information. The SmartThings App** offers advice on cycles, planning and troubleshooting. It can also select the ideal drying course for a wash cycle***.

* Messages with cycle suggestions are displayed on a smartphone App. ** Available on Android and iOS devices. A Wi-Fi connection and login to Samsung account are required. *** Auto Cycle Link is only available when both the washer and dryer have AI Control and Wi-Fi connected.

Hygiene

Reduce bacteria

Hygiene Steam

Give clothes a deep and hygienic clean. Hygiene Steam releases steam from the bottom of the drum. It removes grime and 99.9% of certain bacteria* and inactivates allergens derived from house dust mites**. Hygiene Steam reduces exposure to house dust mite, cat, dog, grass pollen and fungi***.

* Based on the Intertek test report for the Hygiene Steam course. Removes 99.9% of Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli. Individual results may vary. ** Based on the Intertek test report for the Hygiene Steam course. *** Based on The British Allergy Foundation (BAF) test report for the Hygiene Steam course, Allergy UK considers that this product will, in proper use, reduce exposure to house dust mite, cat, dog, grass pollen and fungi.

Deodorise with air

Air Wash

Refresh your laundry without washing, boiling, scrubbing or using detergent. Air Wash technology deodorises garments and bedding, so they smell fresh. Unpleasant odours are removed using just super-hot air. Your clothes will seem like they have been dry-cleaned and will last a long time.

Keep the washer fresh

Drum Clean+

Keep the inside of your washer hygienically clean and fresh. Drum Clean+ removes dirt and 99.9% of certain odor-causing bacteria* in the drum by soaking, pulsating and spinning. A water jet and fast spinning also remove grime from the door gasket. And it notifies you when it needs cleaning**.

* Eliminates 99.9% of bacteria (Pseudomonas Aeruginosa) from the inside of the washer and removes dirt from the rubber gasket. Based on testing witnessed by Intertek of the Drum Clean+ cycle. ** Provides a notification after every 40 cycles.

Cleans away residue

StayClean Drawer

Stop wasting detergent and avoid the tedious task of cleaning the detergent drawer. The StayClean Drawer ensures that more of the detergent is washed away with a specially designed water flushing system. So there is less unsightly soap residue and the tray stays clean and hygienic.

SmartThings

Connect your life with SmartThings

Wi-Fi Embedded

Use your washer easily and effectively with the SmartThings App*, which enhances your washing. The Laundry Recipe recommends the appropriate wash cycle** for each load while the Laundry Planner enhances your daily schedule***. Use Auto Cycle Link**** to select an optimal drying course after a wash.

* Available on Android and iOS devices. A Wi-Fi connection and login to Samsung account required. ** The user will be solely responsible for any consequence(s) that may result, including but not limited to any damage or harm caused by incorrect information provided by the user. *** The recommended washing cycle is only based on time and may not be appropriate for the type of fabrics or stain level of the articles being washed. **** A Wi-Fi connection is required at all times, which may increase energy consumption.

SmartThings Clothing Care

Tailored care. Effortless laundry.

Enjoy personalised and efficient laundry. Clothing Care* analyses your usage** and other factors to make recommendations and customise cycles***. Using a detergent/softener’s bar code, it sets the right amount****. It also suggests courses based on care labels.

* Available on Android and iOS devices. A Wi-Fi connection and login to Samsung account required. ** Stores user data, preferences and usage patterns to suggest the most useful options. *** The user will be solely responsible for any consequence(s) that may result, including but not limited to any damage or harm caused by incorrect information provided by the user. **** This function is only available when using certain detergents and softeners registered on SmartThings database (as of December 2023).

Manage your household’s energy use anytime. SmartThings Energy* provides helpful energy efficiency tips. It also lets you monitor the energy consumption of smart appliances** in real time and compare it to the previous month. And it alerts you if your monthly targets are likely to be exceeded.

* Available on Android and iOS devices. A Wi-Fi connection and login to Samsung account required. ** SmartThings Energy currently works with around 40 Samsung home appliances that are SmartThings enabled. These include washing machines, clothes dryers, dish washers, air conditioners, air purifiers, vacuum cleaners, ovens, hoods, cooktops, microwave, TVs (from June 2022) and energy meters.

1★ — Recurring failure on a 14-month-old machine Bought the Samsung WD11DB8B85GH in March 2025. Within 14 months, the spin function has failed twice. First failure in October 2025 — belt replaced. Second failure May 2026 — technician found the gear pulley was loose, which was likely the root cause all along, meaning the October repair never actually fixed the underlying problem. Belt replaced again. For a premium washing machine that’s barely over a year old, this is unacceptable. Two service callouts, same root cause, and Samsung’s customer service takes 48 hours to respond with no urgent escalation route for a household essential. Expected much better from a machine at this price point. Would not recommend. Will be exploring replacement options and escalating to CASE.
