I bought my unit in October 2021 after +-4 months I noticed water on the floor while it was washing. After closer inspection I notice water in side the door cavity that is leaking out of the door where the 2parts was pressed into eachother. A tech was dispatched but the problem was not solved. I once again logged a fault at the end of July as the amount of water entering the door cavity and then leaking out from there has dramatically increased since the first fault was reported. Today after the tech confirmed that there is no damage on any part and that it is manufacturer fault and needs to be replaced under warranty that is still active untill October 2023. We received feedback that we need to accept a quote for the door replacement as it is cosmetic. I paid R 12,000 for this masjien and due to bad build quality and a essential part as the door with no damage is seen as cosmetic I must accept liability. This is RUBBISH I have a 2 year warranty that is only void when physical damage is present. Sort this out SAMSUNG SA

I bought this in August 2022 and I have never regretted buying something so much! It broke in beginning of March 2023 not even 8 months later and I contacted them about the warranty and now have been waiting for more then 3 weeks for them to fix it. Also the part that broke is not under warranty apparently (so I had to pay now for them to fix it) but the technician they sent told me he wasn’t even sure if it was the part that was broken. I’ve also been struggling with the terrible communication and customer care from the technicians that Samsung appointed me. I personally would never buy another Samsung appliance again after everything I’ve been through. I’ve never cried so much and been under so much stress just because of a dumb over priced washing machine. That I see is now cheaper then when I bought it.

I recently purchased the washer / dryer and I love it. When doing my laundry I select my washing cycle and adjust the spinning speed, I select my dry option for 60 - 90 minutes and it always comes out dry. It does take longer to dry if you over fill the washer, but there is a drying level inside the machine that indicates where to fill for drying. The app indicates how much electricity is used for each cycle which is great. Bubble soak is amazing as it removes all stains which normal washing does not always remove. Great product
I recommended this product.

Basic wash and dry cycle takes 7 and a half hours,and doesn't always fully dry. Suggested AI does nothing. You are unable to remotely turn the washer on/off, even though it stays connected to WiFi. Seems the only helpful "smart" feature is that you can browse through the convoluted menu on your phone. Smart home integration is lackluster, as smart life only serves you data, and no useful controls. Power consumption stats aren't realtime.

Fabulous washing machine Cleans like a dream. Oh how I wish that I could make up my own cycle though, I would love to be able to select my own temp, number and length of each wash/rinse ??? Ridiculously stupid dryer function It takes up to 1/2 hour to cool down before it allows you to open the door, a nightmare if you are in a hurry, it also adds WATER!! to any drying cycle, so if you put your towels in for a quick soften, they come out wetter than when they went in. I hate to say it, but I wish women could design kitchen appliances or were consulted! This dryer was definitely designed by someone who has NO idea!! You will end up having to buy a stand alone dryer to stand next to your "washer/dryer" ... Useless!

So far, most of the reviews on the excellence of this machine has been spot on. I had an 8kg machine previously, and I can say that this 9kg machine is sufficient for a family of four, who changes clothes daily. In South Africa, we have good weather most days, so I do not need to use the dryer too much, but so far I am very impressed with how silent the dryer is. If not for the too long song at the end and the SmartThings messages, I would have forgotten I had washing in the machine. I have used the short wash (15 minutes and tested it on different types of clothing), and all the clothes still seem pretty clean to me. The best function for this machine to me is definitely the SmartThings app. It has so many more options, and the cycles really work well. I still am constantly amazed at how white my white clothes look, thanks to the Laundry recipe feature on the app; so much better than my previous LG washer and dryer. I have used the app when I was away from home and forgot to switch on the machine and that worked perfectly. My main criticism I have with this model, is that you cannot open the door if the StayConnect feature is not switched off at the end of a cycle. So the next time you want to use the app, you have to switch the StayConnect on again. Also, the long tune, which can be switched off, becomes a bit long winded after a few weeks, but at least you will know your stuff is done. One thing though, I find that if you do forget your stuff in the machine after using the dryer, it becomes seriously creased. Never picked this up with my previous machine. So you will have to remove your things immediately after drying. This model is the 2020 model, so it does not come with the Auto Dose feature. As with all washer dryer combos, these things are not too energy sufficient, so be aware of long cycles and electricity/water use. The ON button is also very sensitive. I have leaned against the machine a couple of times and it switched on. This machine is also deeper than my previous ones, and sticks out a bit under my counter.
I recommended this product.

After having the previous model and loving it, I upgraded to this unit. I have now had 3 of these units in 5 months and all presented the same issue. Leaking. Whether it was from the add wash, the seal around the door or the door itself. The support technicians were fantastic and the after sales was great but I will unfortunately not ever purchase another Samsung washing machine after this experience. I own multiple other Samsung appliances and devices so am disappointed that this seems to be an issue with these units.

If I could give this machine a minus I would... We bought this machine 3 weeks ago and it has made a horrible noise since we got it.. We logged calls technisions came out only to tell us that it's normal. On the page where Samsung advertises this product it is marketed as quiet. Which is clearly not the case. We have tried multiple times to get assistance but Samsung just keeps on saying nothing is wrong. If you thinking of buying this machine please do not waste your money as this will be a massive loss if you do...

Absolute waste of money. Dryer is a joke. Clothes come out sopping wet after a 3hr dry cycle. Have had two different Samsung technicians come out and they can't even fix it. Ironically both technicians said to stay away from washer dryer combos because they are rubbish and give endless problems. My washer dryer combo is now just a washing machine as I have had to buy a seperate dryer (and no, the new dryer is not a Samsung)

This machine has completely put me off ever purchasing another Samsung washing machine. We've had constant issues with it from a few short months into purchase. Total waste of money. Have used the washer/dryer function once only to discover that it takes several long hours for one load to be washed and dried, and unlike my old school tumble dryer, the items come out seriously creased. The second time I attempted to use the function, the machine broke down, yet again... it's just been one issue after another.

Had this washer dryer for over a year, it does everything I need it too, it’s quite as much as it can be, auto dispenser is a life changer !!! The only reason I couldn’t give it 5 star is the fact the door does leak, I have had 5 new doors fitted and one full machine replacement through Samsung and all end up leaking . It always happens after a drum clean and will leak for a few washes after. But Samsung have been so good and replace it. I don’t want to change machine but if I could change the door to one that doesn’t have the add wash it might be what’s causing the leaks.

Bought the machine last month, combined washing and drying takes 5+ hours for a single load, who has time to do a single load for 5+ hours!!!! the laundry comes out warm and not fully dry, you still need to air dry outside to completely dry which defeats the purpose of having a washer dryer. Samsung is refusing to take back their machine which is frustrating as they sold me something not as advertised.

I bought this machine a year ago. It sounds horrible on the drying setting. Sometimes the clothes are more wet after drying, than after washing. Only difference is, now its hot and wet. Even with the child lock on,children can touch the power button and if it was on drying function, it takes foreeeeever to open. Terrible machine. Asked for a tech months ago via the 'smart' app. Never received a response. When you do a drum clean, water leaks everywhere. Its constantly asking for a drain clean, even if you just cleaned it.

I want it have 8kg washer but wasn't I quiet as I thought it would but it works well thinking about getting this one so but the design is ugly compared to the old design with and without the add wash feature t

This is a great washer dryer, so many programmes to choose from and they all wash the clothes brilliantly. The dryer is excellent too, dries clothes without a funny smell and it does not take that much longer than a separate tumble dryer would. The wi.fi connection is a great feature too. I use it more than I thought I would. I would definitely recommend this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been needing a washing machine upgrade for a while now and so glad I waited and got this one. First off I love the sleek design, it fits in well in my laundry room and would be a great feature in any space as it just looks so cool. This was very easy to install and get started. There are so many different cycles to choose from that there is sure to he something for every type of clothes or wash needed. It's easy to choose thecycle on the machine or you can do it via the app. I love how you can tweet the cycles to suit what your washing too. It clearly tells you how long is left on the cycle and if using the app it tells you what stage its on and notify you when the washing is done. I live being able to fill up the detergent and softener dispenser and then just leave it. I've not run out yet but I should be notified when it's running low so that I can be ready to add the next lot. Over all a really good purchase.

Programs that really meet your needs, extremely quiet and very solidly built. The build quality of these appliances is already well known but they seem to keep improving. With the add to wash door, no more single socks being missed!

Bought product 2 years ago but 1 day it wouldn’t switch on, on closer inspection I saw it was licking from the drain pipe and somehow this had spilled over to motherboard. Ordered a new motherboard and pump and since then we are failing to get the smart things to work, would appreciate any help…
