    My ATIV switches its self off when left over night either on charge or not, this is very frustrating as there is no point in using alarms when the phone switches the power off. I have read that other Samsung phones do this on android, I assume this now applies to windows phone as well. Samsung need to address this problem quickly. Has anyone found a solution for this?

    Hi White Mark, You need to perform a factory data reset. On the Applications screen, tap Settings → system → about → reset your phone → yes → yes.     If you are refering to the GDR2 update: In August 2013 my ATIV S (on Orange UK) received OS update 8.0.10327.77 Note that this OS update is minor and the new feature 'Data Sence' does not seem to install itself with the update, many forums state you must factory reset the device for the install to complete itself.

    I already have Windows Phone 8.0 GDR2 installed on my ATIV S, but today I was offered update 8.0.10328.78 which is still GDR2, not the current version GDR3. Can you let me know what the 8.0.10328.78 update is for, please?

    At the moment I don't see a way to play pictures or video to my Samsung TV, unlike my S3 which has allshare, this phone seems to have none, but supports DLNA
