Nino. EE is doing LTE 4g. In the coming weeks.

    Fatalbert 2 years ago

Based on the info released today by ee, it will run on their 4g network, which is 1800Mhz. I'm guessing, however, that that means it wont be able to run on the european 4g networks when roaming, as they are all going to be 800Mhz.

The 4G network isn't available in the region yet,if you wish to get LTE 4G network, you'll need to go to Hong Kong or the U.S to get it,but for sure, galaxy note 2 won't be releasing a 4G version in UK at the moment. Thank you

I would like to buy a Galaxy Gear for Christmas, however, it has come to my attention that it will only work on my Note 2 on android version 4.3. However, this update is not out in the UK. I was wondering if there was a release date, as I will not be able to buy the watch without this information?

That doesn't make sense. My wife and I have exactly the same model of Smartphone, a Galaxy Note II GT-N7100. She received her Android 4.3 upgrade over 2 weeks ago, I am still waiting for mine. Samsung MUST have some information about the upgrade. 1. Has Samsung released the upgrade to the UK networks? Obviously, as my wife has her upgrade. 2. Is it always the phone Network that does the upgrade? If so, then customers MUST always contact their network for more details. If Samsung do some upgrades, then which ones, and what is the status. So Samsung, what do you know?

My Note 2 has now updated to KitKat 4.4, no information from Samsung whatsoever, I just kept checking the update section on my phone after I saw that someone else said their phone had received KitKat.

My UK Note 2 has now received the KitKat 4.4 update, had no information from Samsung whatsoever when I posted on here, got the same response that you did! Check the update section on your phone and you should find it there now.

I was wondering if the Galaxy Note 2 is compatable with the UK t mobile Everything Everywhere network?

    Network • 3G: HSPA +21Mbps (HSDPA 21Mbps/HSUPA 5.76Mbps) • 4G LTE: 100Mbps/50Mbps (HSDPA 42Mbps/HSUPA 5.76Mbps)

    Describe the issue

According to the 'Tech Specs' page for the Note II here on the Samsung Website, the Note II will be compatible on 'EDGE / GPRS (850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900MHZ)'. Everything Everywhere's 4G network will run on 1800MHZ from the 15th October 2012, so my assumption will be that it will be available on 4G from the 15th October on Orange or T-Mobile. But....i'm just assuming, would be nice if Samsung themselves could confirm/deny this.

No, this isn't the LTE version - I made the mistake of getting this version (N7100), after the salesperson assured me it was 4G. Luckily I was able to get a refund. The LTE version (N7105) should be being released by the end of October in the UK.

Two answers: (a) While JellyBean does *not* offer Adobe Flash out of the box, in the UK, the BBC have an arrangement with Adobe that has extended the time it is available in the UK Play Store as it is indispensable for using iPlayer. Even if you are not UK-based, the .apk file can be found by Googling/ going to xda-developers site and installing manually ("side-loading"). The only thing to be aware of is that Adobe have stopped development of Flash on mobile devices and thus there will not be any further updates or security patches.

From what I understand Jelly Bean does not support Flash but my Jelly Bean Nexus 7 plays netflix and BBC iplayer just fine.

My five month old Galaxy Note 2 cannot pick up the stylus on half the screen. When I draw on the screen with the stylus, it only writes and reacts with the left hand side of the screen. The right hand side of the screen does not pick it up at all. It is NOT the pen, as I have tried two replacement S-Pens, and it is NOT problems with cases, as I have never used magnets or cases with my phone at all. No screen-protectors either. The screen works perfectly with fingers and non-Samsung styluses, so I can only guess it is the digitiser that is not picking up the S-pen movements on half the screen. The phone is working perfectly fine, with fingers and everything, nothing has changed. Just one half of the screen is dead, and JUST with the S-Pen..
