I'm glad it included the HDMI cable. The first thing I did was calibrated the monitor so that I could edit some photos with Photoshop. Colors were true. Blacks were black. This is a key point for anyone who edits photos. Then I played Call of Duty online. No lag time, no lines, no blur. Having a 28" monitor makes everything look better. If you are a gamer, you need this monitor. Watching videos on YouTube and Netflix was amazing. You can tell the difference with the 4k capabilities. The details are sharp, focused.

First of all it is not an extreme in terms of being really bright or really dull. Some monitors are too high quality and strain my eyes. This one does not though and it has the perfect amount of every color or feature. If you want a monitor that is upscale for normal everyday use this is for you. Nothing has gone wrong and I have not seen any flickers or any other annoying quality. It was very easy to setup and I have no issues turning it on and off which some monitors have since you have to hold a button for three seconds (which sometimes doe not work).

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Changed my trading station! Thanks to 28" UE570 UHD Monitor, now I can have more charts up for easier trading and live feed information. Getting as much information on one screen is key in fast trading environment! I used to have 4 charts on 23" but now I can have 8 charts on this 28" monitor. The screen brightness is great that I can see the candle stick clearly as well as the screen refreshes fast that it almost makes me think that I got a faster internet or a computer. I plan to get multi screen arms so I can have all three monitors up but this one in itself may be sufficient because the real estate on this is fantastic.

i bought this product a little over a year ago and i've had great results with it. then, suddenly, a week ago it started flickering horribly. i checked all connections, made sure it wasn't overheating (unlikely in the dead of new england winter), even tried turning it on with no connections at all. the video below speaks volumes. the "standard service fee" for repairing it just out of warranty is more than half the retail cost of the device. monitors aren't supposed to be disposable one use products.

The Samsung UE570 28" monitor is a great monitor and it has many qualities : 4k, refresh rate, PIP are just a few of the qualities of this monitor. I have this connected to a Dell pc and Roku Ultra. The 4K is beautiful. I love the PIP because I can multitask ; watch ..listen and work at the same time . Just one drawback: the stand. .. the shape is a bit odd. and would stand better in a bigger size maybe a 32" or 34" would be better. The stand is a little bulky and barely fits on my desk but there are other mounting options available.

I absolutely love this monitor. I built my own computer for the first time, and I am not a computer science major. The instructions and specs on this monitor was easy to decipher, and easy to read. My computer is not compatible with the FreeSync software, but I have not seen any lag in the picture when I move the mouse, or when I press on the keyboard. I actually just bought a second monitor so that I can have two of the same size monitor. The color is superb, the size is perfect, and I love it. The only difficult thing I have found is that it can be hard to unplug the HDMI or HD cord from the monitor, since there is not a lot of room for my finger to press the release lock on the cord.

ca fait plus de 5 ans que j'ai ce moniteur après que mon père l'avait utilisé au travail depuis probablement 2015 quand ce moniteur a sorti, la resolution 4k est parfaite, (je n'aime pas les moniteurs en dessous de 4k), mais le taux de rafraichissement n'est pas le meilleur que j'ai vu: 30hz, ceci est une grande indice que ce moniteur est sorti au milieu des années 2010 mais je n'ai pas vraiment besoin de plus de 30hz dans la plupart des cas, mais les videos 60 fps a 4k peuvent apparaitre pas jolis dans certaines scenes où il y a des objets sombres qui bougent rapidement sur des fonds clairs

Wow! 4K resolution from this monitor in front of my eyes is breathtaking. I was using it for some light PC gaming and photo editing (Lightroom), and I can tell how pleasant the experience is. The default color on this monitor seems bit too cold in my eyes, but adjusting the color to my taste is very easy and simple. I would recommend anyone using 1080p monitor upgrading to Samsung UE570 monitor. It is such a great product.

The size is perfect for me. It does not eat up a lot of space and the design is sleek too. I love love love the picture and how it really brings it to life. Very clear, crisp and the color is vivid. The packaging was very good. It's compact and tight so that the screen will not get damage or scratch. 2 hdmi port at the back is a bonus and the sound of the monitor is very nice. The set up was very easy and it paired up well with my new tower. Playing game is now more exciting and watching movies and videos are very much entertaining now because of my new UHD monitor. This is the real deal and great value for your buck.

Sometimes j feel guilty becasause the images are so realistic; i feel like Im on a "work vacation". The monitors makes my work come to life with the crisp picture. It is amazing. I use 2 of them as dual screens making it 2 times more awesome. I love the easy connection steps and the compatibility of your monitors as well. From where I sit, the Samsung monitors open a new world. I dont know how I was able to work before I will never change from a samsung monitor.

Mostly I am running a CRM system on the Samsung Montior with about 8 or 9 tabs open and this makes the effectiveness of getting work done much better. The UHD quality is amazing and super clear. One word of advise is to make sure you do change the settings on the laptop so you can experience the full 4K UHD quality picture that this monitor puts out.

After initially running into an issue where the screen would flash on and off, i discovered that it was due to the response time setting being set to fastest. When i set it to normal, it has worked great ever since. This took me a little time to explore but really glad I did. The visual quality is top notch, and being able to play Forza Horizon 4 and Grand Theft Auto 5 in true 4k has been an absolute blast. I enjoy being able to sit on my computer due to being more aware of the controls instead of having the issues on plugging in to the big screen and sitting on my couch. It is a truly perfect. It is really exciting having something with such a pure picture. I think my husband is going to want to steal it from me any day.

Heck, I've even seen some of my friends' 1440p monitors and they don't look anywhere as good as my new Samsung LU28E570DS. It's 28". People love big TVs and Samsung was right to replicate the idea with a monitor. 28" is the perfect size that it isn't too big when you're close, and big enough that you can see it clearly from a few steps back. I recommend this monitor to anyone who wants a fantastic monitor.

overall, the display quality is below par. the image refresh rate is low (30 hz) at 4k. the specs state 60 hz at 4k when using hdmi 2 and displayport but i can confirm that it is incorrect. i tried high speed cables as well, but it doesn't support 4k at 60 hz. this results in high latency between frames and the image / text transition is not smooth. secondly, the monitor height is very low and is not adjustable. this means the center of the screen is not at eye height - another huge painpoint for me.

This Samsung delivers an amazing picture and clarity. Set up of this monitor is pretty straight forward. Once it's set up to your liking, it's performance is wonderful. You can easily view multiple windows at once at this resolution which is great for multitasking. I found the picture in picture feature which I haven't seen in a long time and it's pretty cool. I often use my Samsung 10+ to display the phone Dex desktop using picture in picture. Playing games on this monitor is like no other that I have played on everything looks so crisp. The stand is very sturdy and easy to assemble. I would definitely recommend this monitor to anyone that is looking for a 4k monitor.

It is a huge upgrade, not just the display size, but the clarity, colors, and physical appearance. The display quality is top notch, sharp, crisp and very soothing to eyes, I can use my computer for much longer now without straining my eyes. And the monitor is very sleek, and minimal design, so no complicated buttons, no bulky stand. The monitor takes up lot less space, and it actually looks so stunning on my computer table. Now my current keyboard and mouse, looks ugly, so I got to upgrade them to make it a perfect setup. I am using the monitor everyday browsing, watching youtube videos and processing my personal photos. This is a great monitor and worth every penny. I would surely recommend this monitor for a friend or family.

this would have been a great monitor but someone decided that putting a vesa mount at the top of the monitor was a good idea, solved some problem cheaply, who knows. what i know is, mounted on a dual rotating gas arm mount, this monitor continuously tilts because of the excess weight. unusable for my needs. never even got to try it as i couldn't connect it without having it swivel and bang my samsung 4k 32" monitor. ouch! :-/

I was not sure it would be that different than my 1080p monitor I was using, but I have been very impressed so far with the Samsung UE570. It has a great clear picture and a good refresh rate that seems to keep it flicker free. The UE570 is easy to install, and it come with HDMI, and Display port cables to make it ready to go right out of the box. You just have to unpack it, plug it in the supplied cable, and your up and running in less than 5 minutes. Having used it for the last couple of weeks I have been very impressed. The picture is unbelievable clear, and the details just pop off the screen. I love the wide screen, and I was not expecting picture by picture from a monitor, but this is a definite plus. Overall, this is a great 4k monitor if you are looking to upgrade. The price is great for a 28” 4k monitor, and I would definitely recommend it.

I received the 28" UHD monitor from Samsung. First out the box all I can say is WoW…the size is perfect, slim, sexy and looks like a space monitor from the cartoon show the Jetson. Being able to adjust the monitor is great.. meaning the screen does tilt, but the stand itself does not adjust height-wise to different levels. The design is light weight and was so easy to set it up on my work station table and it frees up so much space that the fat back monitors normally takes up. Next the resolution and display quality of this beast is perfect, I know the family will be using this monitor to play all the video games but not just gaming I will definitely watch movies and use it with my firestick. Hands down when it is compared to other monitors on the market. It’s a no brainer this monitor is at the top of the list and was very easy for my decision to purchase it. I’m very happy with my purchase and 100% recommend this monitor

I use this monitor for work and I'm blown away from the level of detail it displays. I did some picture editing and watched videos to test out the picture quality. I also played a few games to compare this monitor with my old monitor. I did notice slight distortion when viewing from different angles, but the display was very sharp and crisp. J'ai mis une étoile de moins car j'aurai aimé avoir du 120Hz avec ma carte Nvidia. De nos jours les écrans devraient être compatible des deux standards d'affichages Nvidia et AMD

I have replaced the monitor once and both had the same issue so I believe it to be a design defect. Unfortunately not everyone can hear it, but if you are sensitive to high frequency noises, pass on this monitor.

j'ai cet écran, pour répondre au message de toto73, il est tout a fait possible d'utiliser 4k a 60hz via HDMI 2 (8bit) ou câble display port (8/10bit). il ne faut pas brancher le cable sur le port HDMI 1 évidemment puisque la 1ere version d'HDMI ne supporte pas 4k 60hz ce qui n'a rien a voir avec l'écran.

I gave it 4 stars performance becouse it is not ips panel, altough picture quality is very close after bit of tweaking in menu. thats only bad thing about this monitor. good: separate psu, 4k, freesync, relative cheap for 28inch, intuitive menu, nice colors, comes with dp cable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using a 1080p monitor since building my computer but recently I've wanted to step up to a 4K . This Samsung seemed to strike a good balance between price and performance so I decided to pull the trigger. Right now I'm using this together with my old monitor and the difference is night and day. Having two monitors is great but the brightness, sharpness, viewing angles, and picture quality on the 4K is amazing by comparison. I've never had another high quality monitor to compare to but so far I'm very pleased. I do a fair amount of gaming and the low response time has been great for that. No stuttering or other input lag issues. The monitor has FreeSync but I have an nVidia card so unfortunately I can't take advantage of it. My next step is to get another monitor arm so I can use the VESA mounts. Right now I've got the monitor sitting on a few books since my desk high isn't ideal. Overall I'm very happy with my purchase! The monitor has done everything I've wanted and it didn't hurt my pocket to do so!

J'ai cet écran depuis 2019 et son seul défaut c'est la fixation VESA un peut haute au dos qui l'empêche de monter aussi haut qu'un autre avec fixation au centre. Le rendu des couleurs est cool. La fréquence ne m'a jamais déçu et l'interface est intelligente.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This monitor has a good clear picture, fast refresh rate, and plenty of cool features. It was super easy to setup the monitor and mount it above the other 3 I already have. It was a VESA 75x75 mount. One of the features helps you reduce the strain on your eyes. I don't use this as Windows 10 has that feature built in now and it can be scheduled by time. Another cool feature is the picture in picture mode. I don't have a good use for this right now as it requires you to connect another HDMI cable in order to use it. I thought it would be a software picture in picture. As you can see in the photo I took of my setup, I use my computer for coding, entertainment and so much more. I really like the quality of this monitor! The picture is amazing and the images and text are super clear and defined. When I'm editing pictures, or watching movies, it feels like such a different experience on this monitor because of how clear the image is. I took one star because there is a strange buzzing sound when computer turns off screen, and the display port cable it came with was really short. All in all, this is a great monitor and I would definitely recommend it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As my workload was increased, I realized I needed a larger monitor to multi-task with less effort and less "Alt-Tabbing". My old 1080p monitor wasn't cutting it anymore and I really don't have the space for two monitors. My goal was to find a monitor that offered 4K resolution at a size that wouldn't dwarf everything else on my desk. I searched online for a week or so and finally narrowed it down to the Samsung UE570 as it offered a good price to performance ratio and it was just the right size to fit in my work area. The monitor arrived a few days after ordering and I couldn't wait to get it set up. A few minutes after opening up the box and getting everything set up, I turned on my computer and my jaw dropped as soon as I saw my desktop wallpaper. I immediately knew I made the right decision. This monitor has opened up my world to a new level of productivity since I can have multiple chat windows open, Outlook, and our service management tool all at the same time. The quality exceeded my expectations and the colors are much more brilliant than they were on my old monitor. Text is clear and easy on the eyes, pictures and graphics are exceptional too I don't game on my computer, but I can't imagine anyone being disappointed with this monitor. I highly recommend it.

During gameplay however a television can't stand up to that of an actual computer monitor, so I've had my eye on purchasing a monitor that will work much better. The Samsung UE570 4k UHD monitor is such a great price versus other monitors of it's kind. Having this has definitely made gaming way more enjoyable. I absolutely love the response rate. Gone are the days of lag time! The overall look of this monitor is incredible. The resolution is 4x higher than full HD!! When Samsung says it provides detail that makes you feel like you're actually there, they weren't exaggerating one bit, the picture and colors are phenomenal! The picture in picture and eye saver mode features are sweet! I never thought before I would actually use the picture in picture but I don't know what I did without it before. The eye saver mode is cool too, makes me feel much better about staring at a computer screen for so long. The only things I really didn't love are the stand because it feels a bit flimsy. I also wish I was able to adjust the stand height. That is just being a bit nit picky though, you really can't beat this monitor for the price. I think it stands up well to its competitors!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Samsung UE570 is an affordable monitor with great color reproduction and detailed picture quality for work tasks with fast response time for gaming. Picture quality is top notch and colors are vivid after calibration. The response time of 1ms makes playing game virtual lag free. The monitor support AMD FreeSync technology which is a bonus. It has a picture in picture mode that allows side by side viewing so two sources can be displayed at the same time. The detailed 4k picture of the monitor makes work tasks a enjoy since you can see all the details. 4k resolution works well on the 28-inch display. Scaling on Windows 10 is only 150% and text is readable at 3 feet away. Even with all these positives, there are a few negatives. First, the stand has no height adjustment meaning you need to raise the monitor manually maybe two reams of paper. Although the Monitor does have a tilt adjustment so you can get the right angle of viewing. Second, HDR features would have been a great addition and improved black levels on the monitor. Third, Samsung needs to update the packaging and stickers on the monitor. The "New for 2016" feature sticker should be removed since this is the latest monitor version. In summary, the Samsung UE570 has a lot of positive for the price and the negatives can be overlooked. The Monitor is a great addition to my workflow.

Der Bildschirm ist billig und in 4K, das ist das einzig positive, was mir aufgefallen ist. Die Farben sind im Vergleich zu meinem anderen Bildschirm sehr blass. Zusätzlich macht die eine LED (wo man sieht ob der Monitor an oder aus ist) ein surrendes und deutlich wahrnehmbares Geräusch. Dann ist der Bildschirm sehr niedrig und man kann ihn nicht höher stellen, da braucht man dann einen Monitorständer oder eine Wandhalterung. So idiotisch wie es auch klingt, wenn man den Computer vor dem Bildschirm ausschaltet, muss man häufig mehrmals den Ein/Aus-Knopf des Bildschirms drücken, bevor die Ausschalt-Option angezeigt wird. Wer hätte gedacht, dass eine so simple Funktion so schlecht funktionieren kann? Bei meinem anderen Bildschirm habe ich keine Probleme damit. Auf weitere Probleme, die den Bildschirm teilweise unbrauchbar machten, z.B. Verbindungs-Probleme mit HDMI- und Displayport-Kabel (mehrere getestet), möchte ich nun wirklich nicht mehr eingehen. Das sind halt alles Probleme die sich summieren und einen schlechten Eindruck machen... Ich denke für 0815 Büroarbeiten ist der Bildschirm zu gebrauchen, aber ich kann ihn absolut nicht empfehlen. Habe ihn nie zum Zocken verwendet und kann in dieser Hinsicht keine Auskünfte geben. Aber allgemein würde ich eher etwas mehr Geld für einen ordentlichen Monitor ausgeben, oder einen Full HD Monitor mit so 24 Zoll kaufen.

It has two HDMI 2.0 and 1 DisplayPort connection to give you options. I say this because this larger monitor offers a nice Picture by Picture mode to increase the fun or your multitasking needs. From a personal standpoint, I have never had a monitor this large and with such a crisp picture. Earlier this year, I acquired a 27” from another company and the difference was amazing. I've done everything from 4K video streaming to gaming to productivity tools on it and it’s been wonderful. I have even done things at the same time and it’s held its own. I didn't realize how nice it would be to have a 4K monitor until now. It’s now a staple of my work-home computer setup. After extensive use, I only have a few minor issues with it. The first is the stand. It’s rather large and protrudes to the front and back a little more than say a square platform stand. With how wide it is, it makes it hard to set up on a desk. It also doesn’t swivel or move up or down. It does tilt though. I will probably mount it at some point to alleviate that issue. The next one is the control for the settings. It took some time, but I finally got used to the “joystick controller” that does it all. I would have preferred a few separated buttons for easier maneuvering. All in all, the Samsung UE570 is a great monitor. It has performed well under heavy gaming, streaming sports, and movie watching.

This replaced an LG QHD (1440p) and I've very pleased with the increased real estate. If you're looking for a monitor solely for multitasking, look at the ultrawide screens instead. This monitor is excellent for photo and video editing where the increased pixel count really matters. With font and icon scaling, this could easily be someone's primary monitor for day to day use. The color reproduction is excellent as well. I've played around with the picture in picture and picture by picture and I can say they do work. For the few that have two sources needing display on a single monitor, these features will be a huge plus. As far as the actual looks of the physical monitor, I'm very pleased. The frame is sleek and the bezel is small. An included cable management arm helps keep cords hidden. I only have two faults to this monitor-- both minor, but one slightly more frustrating. This monitor does not have any height adjustment to the stand, so those looking for a taller mount will need a riser. The other issue is that I found this display incredibly difficult to calibrate. The contrast and brightness needed significant adjustments out of the box to achieve a good picture. It seemed like more effort was needed to get a good calibration than my previous monitors. Once, I got it set, however, I was very happy with the display. Overall, I think this is a wonderful monitor with an excellent display, especially for those looking for a bit more screen real estate than a full HD or QHD display.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very nice monitor. I didn't realize how nice a 4k monitor was until now. At first it wasn't working for me as my test computer couldn't display in 4k, it was limited to 2k. Once I replaced my outdated video card in the test system, the video looked amazing. I lost some real estate going from 2 x 21" monitors to this 28" monitor, but it was worth it. It would've been nice if this was a curved display, but at 28", a flat screen is fine, though I doubt I personally would go much larger than 28" without getting a curved display. This monitor has some pretty nice features, it works with AMD Freesync, although it's not Freesync 2, and it has 1 ms response. Those two features alone make this a great gaming monitor. In addition to that, this monitor can also display from 2 different sources at the same time. It can display in a Picture By Picture (PBP) format (one source on the left side of the screen, the other source on the right half of the screen) and it can display in Picture In Picture (PIP) mode, like you would find in some TV's. The only thing I don't like about the monitor so far is the stand. it's a static stand that won't raise or lower the monitor height and won't twist from side to side without moving the whole stand. Good thing though is that the monitor has VESA mounts on the back so the stand can be replaced with something better. The inputs on the back are pretty minimal, you get 2 x HDMI inputs, 1 x Full size Display Port input and headset input. Along with those, on the back is the power port right next to the headset input and next to where the stand connects to the monitor, there is a hole for a lock. The OSD controls are also located on the back, in the lower corner, of the monitor. This monitor will get a LOT of use, I'm really going to enjoy editing my 4k videos on this monitor.

I've always been hesitant to take the leap and upgrade to a 4K monitor, I've previously only been using 900p and 1080p monitors. However when I saw that Samsung has this 4K monitor at such a great priced compared to other options, I decided to finally give it a try. I've been wanting to take full advantage of my gaming hardware anyways which is the primary use of this monitor. Being a 28 inch monitor, this was definitely the biggest one I've used so far and I was a bit worried beforehand that it might be too big. But as it turns out, the larger size is definitely a plus. In addition to that, the image quality was very good too, definitely one of the nicer 4K displays I've seen of that size. The monitor also has a lot of great features like Picture in Picture that actually works very well too. A personal plus of the monitor for me is that it turns on very quickly. It's a small feature overall but a big positive thing in my book. I've had a lot of monitors in the past that took awhile to turn on and display the image, but this one from Samsung is very quick. Overall, this monitor is definitely one of the best displays I've ever personally used especially considering the price compared to other monitors out there. I would highly recommend this monitor to anyone looking to upgrade to a 4K monitor without breaking the bank but are also looking for a trusted and reputable brand too. The only downsides I can really think of are that the out of box default settings make the monitor a little too bright for me and the contrast too high, but after some time fiddling around with the settings, I found a comfortable setting for me. There weren't really any presets that quite suited my preferences so I did have to adjust the settings manually. It's really a matter of personal preference in that case though. Aside from that, I haven't had any other issues with this monitor. I look forward to doing more 4K gaming on this monitor!

The only momentary confusion at first was all of the papers which came in the monitor box, but I soon realized some of them were basically for the "file" and I didn't need to worry about them. I was able to get the stand attached without a problem and got to the point I turned the monitor on. WOW, what a difference between the new monitor and the old one! I can't say enough about the clarity, the color and the entire viewing area of the monitor. I used the "jog" button, on the back of the monitor to fine tune it to my desire or make adjustments to my liking. Ease of use: The control knob on the back is simplistic, and with some quick reading you can figure out how to use the various controls on it. The knob control keeps the menu short and simple, which limits the calibration but also makes it easy to adjust the brightness and contrast. Accessories: The monitor comes with a HDMI cable, a DisplayPort cable, and the power adapter. I'm not sure why they elected for a power adapter different from the usual ones, but the cable at least is quite long. Overall, the monitor has the general features you'd need in a 4K monitor. There are some deficits to the monitor that would prevent it from being even better, but this is definitely a great option when limited by budget. This monitor offers great value with only minor shortcomings in terms of product quality. While you may be served better with a different monitor if you're going for photo editing or gaming, this is great for regular and everyday use.

I'm not sure why they elected for a power adapter different from the usual ones, but the cable at least is quite long. Overall, the monitor has the general features you'd need in a 4K monitor. There are some deficits to the monitor that would prevent it from being even better, but this is definitely a great option when limited by budget. This monitor offers great value with only minor shortcomings in terms of product quality. While you may be served better with a different monitor if you're going for photo editing or gaming, this is great for regular and everyday use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been looking for a new monitor for some time to upgrade an old 23" 1080p monitor, and was trying to decide on which one to purchase. I decided to give this Samsung monitor a try, it had many of the features I was looking for at a price I couldn't resist. Samsung offers a 4K TN panel monitor with refresh rate of 60 Hz and 1 ms response time. It is LED back-lit. The monitor offers 2 HDMI and 1 Display Port connections, as well as a headphone jack. Of note, there is no mini-display port connection or USB plugs. Design of monitor: The bezel is reasonably sized, the overall monitor is lightweight. The appearance is quite clean and minimalistic, and the control knob on the back helps keep the design cleaner. The base is stable and clean in design as well. The VESA mount however is incredibly high up on the monitor, making it awkward to mount two monitors next to each other. Unless you're using a wall mount, a desk mount is not particularly viable. Picture quality: The 4K picture quality is there, but the monitor has a lot of light bleed. That makes the blacks far less pure, which depending on your use can make a difference (for example it is less than ideal for photo editing). The monitor also required a reasonable amount of calibration, which requires some knowledge to adjust (or watch a few YouTube videos). After some tweaking, the monitor colors are substantially better, blacks are darker, and overall better contrast. If you have a color calibration tool, I'm sure you could get even better outcomes. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Background - It is not uncommon for many of us to have monitors that we simply keep using because they seem to never break. That has been my base for many years and several desktop upgrades. The Samsung LU28E570DS has shown me the error of continuing down this path. I am connecting two different workstations to the same monitor for testing. The first machine is connected to an AMD RX470 via HDMI and the second is connected to an NVIDIA 1080Ti via DisplayPort. I use the toggle on the back to switch between monitor workstations. Disclosure - I received this product at a discounted price in exchange for an honest and unbiased review. Unboxing -When I first received the monitor it the box seemed a little odd. Instead of opening from the top of the box this monitor wanted you to lay the box flat and open up from the middle of the side. This was a first. It helped from a presentation perspective vs struggling to pull a monitor out vertically I was able to easily get to the large screen and lift it out with ease. From an accessory perspective it came with a full side HDMI AND full sized DisplayPort cable. This was ideal for my use case since I am running it against two different workstations. The stand was easily attached and my desk configured with this monitor. Power Up - Cabling was easy and plug and play. No additional configuration needed for either workstation connector. My first reaction after turning on the monitor shock at how bright this monitor is. The colors are vibrant and the whites are off the chart. General Use -Watching videos and playing games it feels like I have a new workstation just from this monitor. With how sharp and bright everything looked I could not wait to watch my first true 4K movie on this screen. It did NOT disappoint. Additional Thoughts - There are a couple of items I want to make others aware of with this monitor. The wall mount on the back is set at the top of screen. Depending on your mount this could pose a challenge on your desk or wall if you are replacing a monitor that was more central previously. The joystick controller takes a little time to get used to. Conclusion - I really enjoy using this monitor. Having been a multiple monitor user for as long as I can remember I may actually be able to give them up and just use this one monitor. After several weeks of using this monitor almost every day I have not come across any negative aspects. Once again Samsung has hit it out of the ballpark.
