How do I use the control panel on my Laundry U washing machine?

1 Power

Tap to turn the washing machine on and off.

 

  • If you do not use the control panel for 10 minutes after turning the washing machine on, it will turn itself off automatically.
  • This washing machine turns itself off after the washing cycle is complete.

Please note: you cannot tap the power button to turn the washing machine off while a cycle is in progress. You will need to pause the cycle first, then tap the power button to turn the washing machine off

2 Navigation dial

Turn the navigation dial to the left or right to navigate through the cycles and functions. As you turn the navigation dial the screen will display your selection.

3 Start / Pause

Tap and hold to start or pause the current operation.

4 Display

The display shows you information about the current cycle, the estimated time remaining, and will display an information message if a problem occurs.

5 OK

Tap to confirm your choice of function or setting.

6 Temp.

Tap to change the water temperature for your chosen cycle.

 

  • The indicator above the button shows the default or selected setting.
7 Rinse

Tap to change the rinse count for your chosen cycle.

 

  • The indicator above the button shows the default or selected setting.
8 Spin

Tap to change the spin speed for your chosen cycle.

 

  • The indicator above the button show the default or selected setting.
9 Additional function

Tap to open the additional functions menu.

 

Tap and hold for 3 seconds to open the system functions menu.

10 Smart Control

Tap to activate or deactivate the Smart Control function.

 

Tap and hold to enter pairing mode to connect to SmartThings.

 

  • When the Smart Control function is active, you can control your washing machine remotely using the SmartThings app on your smartphone or tablet.

1 Tap the power button (1) to turn on the washing machine
2 Turn the navigation dial (2) to select the cycle you want to use
3 Tap the Temp., Rinse and Spin buttons (3) to adjust the cycle settings
4 Tap the additional function button (4), then turn the navigation dial (2) to select additional functions.
5 Tap the OK button (5) to change the settings for your chosen additional function

Please note: not all cycles have additional functions available

6 Tap and hold the play / pause button (6) to begin the cycle Once the cycle has been set, the screen will display a description of the cycle, the maximum laundry load, and length of the cycle. You can also check the cycle progress, remaining cycle time, and information codes.
