How do I control my smart home devices using my SmartTag?
SmartTag doesn't only help you keep track of the important things in your life, but it also provides one-click convenience for your smart home. SmartTags can be used to control various smart home devices with just a single click, allowing you to turn on the lights in your home before you've stepped through the door.
SmartTag can be part of SmartThings automations based on you pressing or holding the button. Your SmartTag must be connected to your mobile device and your mobile device must have an internet connection (Wi-Fi or mobile data) to start the automation.

Please note: you can choose between Pressed and Held. This will depend on how you want to activate your automation and allows you to set two automations to your SmartTag
You can also do this from the Automations menu found in the SmartThings app.
