What can I do with the Air Command feature?

Air Command is the Note's feature that lets you get the most out of the S Pen. It allows you to access certain features and apps quickly and easily.

Please note: This feature is available on the Galaxy Note8, Note9 and Note10/Note10+. Availability and design might vary depending on the model type and operating system installed. For the following, a Galaxy Note9 with OS Android Pie was used as an example.

There are three ways to launch the Air Command feature:

1 If your phone is unlocked, by taking the S Pen out of your Galaxy Note the Air Command menu will open automatically.

Please note: The first time you do this, a short tutorial will appear. Follow the on-screen instructions.

2 Bring the S Pen close to the screen and press the S Pen button.
3 Tap the “Air Command” icon with your S Pen.

1 Go to “Settings”.

3 Tap “S Pen”.
4 Activate the “Floating icon” switch under “Air command”. This way the Air Command icon will appear on the screen whenever you detach the S Pen from the device.
