What is S Finder and how do I use it?

S Finder allows you to search your device.

Note that S Finder is available on devices running Android Marshmallow and Lollipop. This feature was replaced on newer devices by a search function available in your apps tray. You can access this search function by tapping Apps, and then clicking the search panel at the top of the screen.

The below article will show you how to access S Finder, how to add it to your panel, use it to search your device, and how to remove it.

To access S Finder:

1 Swipe your finger down from the top of the screen to bring up the notifications panel

For example, a search for 'camera', brings up the camera app, emails where the word 'camera' is mentioned, camera settings and help, and files where your camera uploads are stored.
