I use many different devices through the week. I homeschool and have files on different devices. I often find myself wanting files somewhere other than where they are. Yes, I upload to the cloud. Uploading them works but takes time. I connected this to my laptop and copied folders almost instantly. Copying those folders to my iPad was also almost instant. This saves me so much time. This is so perfect for backups. It connects to so many devices. I am clumsy at times and won’t have to worry about this slipping out of my hand. With dust and water resistance, 9.8 ft drop resistance; I think I won’t be able to damage it without trying.

This is the best portable storage that I have used in a long time. Very durable I have carried it everywhere. The design is perfect able to grip it without with the silicone body. I have no problems connecting to any of my phones or laptop to be able to add more files to clear space on other devices. This 1TB for me holds a lot of the pictures and documents that I need but dont need right away giving me room to add more later and come back when needed. This is a ten out of ten for getting the job that I need it to do. I highly recommend and if 1TB is not enough for you, they also have it in 2TB and 4TB. Which makes it even better to fit ones needs.

The Samsung Portable SSD T7 Shield 1 TB has been a total game-changer for me. I love how incredibly fast it is, letting me zip large files around and even edit directly without any annoying lag. But honestly, the real winner is its toughness. This thing feels practically indestructible with its rugged, rubberized shell and it's even dust and water-resistant – no more babying my external drive! so i picked up one of the new samsung t7 shield drives to use when out in the field shooting photos. i love this drive as it gives me the ability to transfer files off my camera through my laptop to it quickly. the amount of speed this thing has is incredible. it didn’t quite hit the speeds that they mentioned but was able to transfer much faster than others i have tried. with the ip65 rating, i don’t have to worry about the weather getting bad or overheating because of its thermal guard. i got consistent 400-450mb/s when transferring files and is fast enough to edit off of. if you’re looking for a fast drive that you can actually work off of then this is the one for you!

I recently bought a new camera and I needed somewhere to safely store all my photos. I also needed something portable so I could quickly and conveniently move my photos on the fly. When I purchased my S24 Ultra, I was searching Samsung storage devices. That's when I came across the Samsung T7 Shield SSD. It has been a life saver and it's very quick at transferring data, especially for my needs. It's water and dust resistant, with an IP65 rating. The outer rubber shell also protects against drops. This gives me some added comfort, knowing I will be outside in the elements. I'm beyond pleased with this purchase.

I love the Samsung T7 Shield portable SSD. As a photographer I need something to quickly backup my SD cards after a shoot. I can transfer files to it in a flash from my computer and it hardly takes up any space in my bag. The T7 Shield is the perfect addition to my workflow. Such an incredile SSD drive. I recently used it to backup the photos I took on vacation, because the hotel wi-fi was too slow to upload my photos to my backup cloud service. The transfer speeds are lightning fast, so is accessing my files. This SSD is a must add and great improvement over anything I have used in the past. I have used many other portable storage devices; however this drive is amazing! It started to work as soon as I plugged it in. I wanted this to backup the pictures on my wife's phone. It hardly took any time at all to do the task. This thing is a super fast. One of the best features is its size. It can fit in your pocket. That makes it easier to use and also an item that would be used more often. Let's face it, if we have to carry it in another bag, there are times it would get forgotten. This drive's portability makes it super easy to carry. I would buy another one of these!

Well, I'm not going to win the contest but I will keep it real. The Samsung T7 falls way short of my expectations of a Samsung product. This was advertised as a plug and play for mobile devices. It's not a plug and play because the app for this product is terrible. It does nothing. Absolutely nothing. I purchased 5 of these. I kept 1 and gave the others as gifts. What i thought was a great gift ended up being a lil embarrassing. I normally brag on Samsung products but this is the worst product that I have dealt with since joining the Samsung team 20 years ago. I will stick with them, however, I hope they decide to improve this product and all supporting features which are nonexistent at this point.

Having been a professional photographer since the 80's, I have had my share of digital media. This is by far the fastest and most robust drive. I was able to download a 4g file in under 5 seconds. For those unfamiliar with doing things like that, that is AMAZING! Used it on location to back up the files from the days shooting. WOW! I went out on a limb and let my grandkids toss it around. Not an issue even after that. Samsung did an amazing job on this product! The drive does not get very hot even after being plugged in for hours. And yes, I was given a discount on this device in exchange for an Honest Review. I highly recommend this for anyone on the go or who just wants to get things done quickly.

The Samsung Portable SSD T7 works great for my needs. I have had to change laptops 4 times in the last few years (because they quit working), and it was challenging to make sure all my pictures and files were saved. I was able to pull all my important documents and pictures onto the SSD T7. I had no problems transferring the files and they transferred very fast. Now I have a backup and don't have to pay for extra cloud storage. It's nice to have all my pictures in one place. I received this product at a discount in exchange for my honest opinion.

I bought one of these when I got my new laptop in February. Galaxy Book 3 360. Amazing laptop and I got this on the cheap as an add on. I have not been disappointed. Nice rugged external SSD with extremely fast data transfer. Weighs almost nothing. Holds all the data I've accumulated over the years with room to spare. You can format it to be an OS installation drive, which I had to do to help a friend in a pinch, but that's a waste of it's space and capabilities. Great air gapped backup drive. When one of my sons ran out of space on his laptop, I got him one of these to migrate his files to. Problem solved. He'll probably get another one as a backup. Can't say enough about it, it's a great piece of gear to have in your laptop bag.

It is as if the Portable SSD 'IS' an original piece of ANY devices' hardware when plugged in. Any data, in every format is instantly recognized. A true 'Plug & Play' device; saves time and virtually 'hassle-free'. At the time of purchase one terabyte capacity was more than enough to store a lifetime of digital.media memory. From Pics, to Music, to Video clips--even Full-Length Movies! Ultra light-weight & Compact-design And best believe; I've dropped it on hard surfaces more than once. First Impression: Amazingly small and lightweight. First Use: I wanted this primarily for my phone as even with my sd card I was running out of space for photos and videos. This would be perfect to move anything that I didn't need on my phone for everyday use. It took me a little while to figure out how to get it synced up with my phone. I needed to download and app and watch a few videos to figure it out but once I got it, it was very simple to use. Files moved over very quickly. I also attached it to my laptop and it was very easy to use there as well. This is a great little device for the price and when you want something that you can realistically carry around with you or hold onto files that you won't necessarily need everyday.

It's very easy to connect especially through the USB, it connects directly to my laptop or my desktop. It has built-in security which makes it resistant to people trying to hack into it as well as the security suite which makes it even optimized to have better performance cooling and many other points of interest. With the type of work I do it helps knowing the security and durability of Samsung products because when you have dependable product you know that it won't get damaged. And one of the major things is losing your information or data because it might overheat or get damaged. What I've noticed with all of Samsung devices is that they have a good cooling system within it and basically it keeps all my data regulated and ready for access

I was really excited to be able to test this portable SSD Drive. I have a medium format camera with very large raw files and the images transferred to the Samsing drive flawlessly, and with lightning speed. I am very pleased with this hard drive. It's very portable and you can basically put it in your pocket. The only tiny critique would be that the rubber exterior seems to be a dust magnet. However, as long as it protects my files against water, moisture, and a potential drop, then it's worth it and I can deal with a little dust.

So I bought my Blue T7 1TB about a month or so ago. I connected to my HP desktop when I used it the first time to shoot some movies from my desktop to my T7 and holy crap...it was lightning fast! The second time I used it was to connect it to my Samsung Galaxy S24, and it was definitely fast, much faster than the good old Toshiba HDD I've had for years. Not quite as fast on the phone as it was on the desktop, but still VERY impressed. Super satisfied with the purchase. Well worth the price. I would highly recommend the product.

Samsung has another winner with this t7 shield. I don't know what more I could ask for. It's got a huge capacity in a small rugged form factor. I was able to back up my whole computer in a matter of minutes instead of hours. This drive is so much faster than my other drives. Love the fact that there are no moving parts and its the great Samsung quality i can trust with my important data. I love that they include both a USB-C cable and a legacy USB cable so it will work with any computer. I would definitely recommend this one.

I received this portable ssd memory storage when I bought my Galaxy book 3 pro 360. At first I didn't have a use for it so it sat in a drawer for a long time. Then I ended up getting a pixel phone just to take pictures on. I found that I was running out of storage on the phone quickly because it only had 128gb. What I love about the ssd is that I can plug it straight into the phone without having to use a computer to move the pictures and videos on and off. It's one of my favorite portable ssd storage devices I've ever used.

Well I keep this short and sweet, since we are all busy. My IT guy recommended this product to me based on my needs. I'd say he did his job with this one. I have 4 stores and a manufacturer plant and they all have to communicate on one platform, so when im on the go it has to stay on the go with me. Which means everytime I stop my system has to update. But the nice things it when I do go from store to store I only have to bring this and connect when I get there. It a perfect size for me, doesn't feel like im gonna break it. And im sure if I did drop it it would be okay. So, yeah it's a perfect fit. Size is great, sleek design, super fast, and well built. Oh yeah the cost didn't hurt that much either. Plan on buy at least two more. Well done and thanks, Sean S.

I love this not only for it's beige coloring that matches the interior of my car which is where it likes to spend most of its time or I guess I should say I like for it to spend most of its time seeing as it is inanimate object and wants or desires don't necessarily compute or translate... I keep all my music discographies of complete artists digital collections, movies for long trips or lil get away. And I still have enough room to handle about anything I could if necessary, smooth interaction between PC interface and Android compatibility (with proper OTC cable for your device).. it's easily removed and can be stored almost anywhere, quite the convenient lil self gifting gift I've gifted myself in some time, it's definitely in contention for the most favorites of mine

This drive is incredible. I typically use an external drive to move files to and from my phone (and DSLR camera). Since my phone is my life, I transfer everything from movies, pictures and audio in and out (especially with the limited amount of space on a typical mobile phone. While I will not hit max speeds from my phone, this drive was transferring at more than double of any other drive I have previously used. Transferring multiple gigabytes in seconds. It really makes the transfer process easier. In the picture attached you can see that I was able to transfer 28GB in about 1.5 minutes. Another great feature is the rubberized case surrounding the drive. It is really easy to grip - it won't slip put of your hands, but even if it does, it seems to be so well protected on all sides.

First off, the speed of this SSD is super quick. Read and write speeds of up to 1050/1000 MB/s let me save and transfer files often in just a few moments. The rubber exterior which contains a thermal guard, keeps it super cool as well. I have no worries of the SSD overheating. The exterior was made for durability, so I can take this SSD anywhere, like off-roading and hiking. I have been able to connect the SSD to multiple devices as it is compatible with so many types of devices.

I bought this a year ago and it works great and the data transfer rate I'd really good and works smooth and fast but the only problem is if you have a password set up for it then you need an application to enter the password and that application isn't available/working on mobile devices but is working on computers/laptops so I wasn't able to use it for my phone when I had the password security option set up and I had to disable that to transfer data between my phone and the SSD.

I recently purchased a Black Magic ATEM Extreme SDI ISO switcher. One great thing about it is that it will record an ISO file of each input plus the switched fife. Just for a quick test, I plugged in 8 devices and also plugged in my new 2 Tb T-7 drive. I hit RECORD, checked everything and went to a video shoot. I returned 8 hours later and it was still recording. I hit Stop, unplugged the T-7 and plugged it into my edit system I now have a beautiful, full length, fully synchronized file for each of the 8 inputs and the mix channel. All I can say is WOW! All I had to do for prep was to format the drive to exFat. This will drastically change my production life and make everything much more organized. I am now ordering 2 more so I'll have all 3 colors, further helping file organization. DId I already say WOW?

I got my Samsung portable ssd about 6 months ago because I was running out of room on my computer so this was the perfect option for me. I love my Samsung ssd. It's fast and reliable. With 1 terabyte of storage it can hold all my games with no problem. Plus with the added option of portability I can take it with me and don't need to download my games again when I go to my friends house. I give the Samsung 1 terabyte portable ssd 5 stars. Did I mention it was affordable.

Tough, fast, and good looking. Packs a lot of bang in a small package. Fist thing is that you will transfer files fast. I moved some large files including hundreds of pictures in just seconds! In the end that is what the T7 does. It makes large amounts of data available fast. I love the multiple USB connection options. Fast is always good. I like that it is smaller than the memory device I was using, and the blue looks great. No lags, just fast access!!!

I bought a few months back as add on storage for my S22 ultra 500gb and it comes with a THICK USB c to c cable, I tried moving videos and files back and forth with both cables and the included one makes it almost instantaneous. We were out in the pouring rain and I forgot I had it in my top pocket, it got soaked. Worried but not very as I knew it was shock and water resistant...I blew out the port and worked like a charm even wet!!!! Definitely would recommend.

I was super excited to get this, I had filled up my memory on my phone and needed something to save videos and photos to. This is amazing. It is small and super light weight. It is also very durable, being it got dropped when my kid picked up my phone as it was transferring and it went flying. No damage and still works. It works at a great speed and has a lot of memory. I would highly recommend this for anyone looking for something small yet very functional.

First, this is a very good device, 1TB storage, rugged, compact. Works with Android & Windows out of the box. My only issue was that the Android app failed to recognize the device, so I cannot comment on any functionality there. In both windows and android, the device showed up and was available as expected via explorer and my files. I tested with Windows 11 laptop and Samsung Z-Flip3 5g phone. I received this device at a discount for an honest review.

Just like the title says 😜 The rubber coating sticks to so much lint and crumbs and dust and etc., but the other side of the coin is that it doesn't slip and slide around on my desk. Plus it's small and light. My only issue is that I have issues with using it plugged directly into my phone — it's not discoverable, while my WD portable SSD has no connectivity issues. But overall for my computer and laptop, I'd get another one for my next portable SSD.

I loved my SSD. I use it to transfer files between my home and my job computer, the transfer speed is so fast I don't even realize when it's done. I recently decided to use it to storage and keep safe all my travel pictures as well since the capacity is 1TB. This feels like you can have all your life saved there. The SSD is reliable, resistant, fast, compagt, has a great design and is compatible with all my devices. I LOVE IT and would recommend it.

I've had this for a few months now. It has exceeded expectations from the beginning. The speeds are blazing fast. I connected it to my phone to transfer large Gb files out to the SSD. It was done within seconds. Then I connected it to my MacBook and transferred more data to the SSD, taking only seconds. It's extremely light and portable, fitting in my pocket easily. The rugged design and matte surface provides a nice comfortable grip. No complaints.

I have been using the Samsung T7 shield 1 TB SSD for storing my wedding photos and some of the photos and videos from my trekking in the Himalayas of Nepal. So the one I got hasn’t had any connectivity issues or any heating issues. I have not dropped it once so I don’t really know and can’t speak on the resistance, but I would hope that it stays intact. The red and white speed is as labeled. It is quite fast and it is more than enough for my case.

Absolutely love this device. This portable HD is well built. When you take it out of the package you find all the cables that you need to have to use it immediately. I first used it to transfer files from my desktop computer in one office to another office. When I plugged the drive in Windows 10 Pro saw the drive and allowed use with no intervention needed. The transfer of 175GB of software from the desktop to the HD took less than 5 minutes. When I plugged it into the other computer the transfer from the HD to the desktop took about the same amount of time. The next test was transferring photos from the desktop to the HD. 10GB of photos took no time at all. I then switched cables and was able to access those photos from my Galaxy Note 20 with ease. This drive is a robust device in a small package that packs a big punch. #SamsungMemoryInsiders

I have used T7 Shield to transfer documents and media files. In addition, it works fantastic as additional storage on my PS5. Great product. As a chef I work from a moving office, bouncing between home, office and in the kitchen. Be it reworking recipes, menus, updating schedules, ect. I am able to seamlessly move from laptop, office computer, to tablet on the line while keeping my files secure, without delay between devices. Plug and go, for instant access. The quality build, allows me to feel comfortable having it in places that most other SSDs I would be hesitant about, say on a hot line around hot liquids and foods. Also perfect for back up storage. It is recommended that you have 3 back ups of all you important and vital information, 2 on different media's such as hard copy, and flash drive and 1 off site such is the cloud or SSD device stored away from home. The Samsung SSD T7 is a makes a perfect back up device not only at home but away woth plenty of room for storage.

I received the 1Tbyte T7 drive at a discounted price for my honest review. The Samsung T7 Shield 1 Tbyte solid state drive has an elegant light design, my favorite choice,a sharp blue rubber coating, but also available in two other colors and can easily fit into a pocket making it highly mobile. I connected this both with Mac and Windows operating systems via USB connection and using it for our daily backups. The drive supports direct connect USB 3.2 Gen 2 speeds and also works with USB 2. The drive comes with two cables, TypeA/TypeC mostly used on my older equipment and newer laptop typeC/TypeC. It seems to generate limited heat during an extended time of use. I love this drive and a bonus is that from the specification it was tested with a 3 meter drop and have resilience to water and dust contamination contributing to the high mobility of the device.

With video games growing in size and current gen consoles limited in disk space, I didn't want to waste precious storage on previous gen games. The Samsung T7 shield allows me to expand the storage of my console to save previous gen games and provide super fast load times compared to the previous gen console. I wasn't sure if the difference would be noticeable, but it's insanely fast and blew away my expectations. I've used external storage for this before and my cats would kick the drive off of the stand. This drive has a coat of rubber armor that not only protects it from drops, but it actually prevents my cats from being able to scoot it off with their paws. I'm so impressed with the speed, performance and durability of the T7 Shield that I intend to buy another for my PC. I received this item at a slight discount in exchange for an honest test and review.

I own a MacBook and storage is crucial for me. Because it's not much on the Mac. I appreciate samsung having the high SSD that are not only fast but gives the amount of storage space I need. Definitely impressed with the size and how compact and easy it is to use. I was able to upload files and photos with in secs unlike other hard drives on the market. Like how it comes with usb C to C and USB c to a connection wires to make things easier depending on what you have. I would recommend to family and friends since everyone likes to loose photos this would be a life saver since its small and user friendly.

I bought this item for deployment. I'm in Navy and I needed fast storage for my phone while I was deployed on my ship for over 8 months. It was super solid and it took a beating. Nothing on the ship lasts whatsoever and being able to have this and not have to worry it it would break or just stop working was a lifesaver. I would drop this on the ships hard metal floors and it would still work like brand new.

Received my SSD T7 in May and was excited to use it. But overall is kind of disappointed with this hard drive. It is just another SSD thats packed in a dust and water resistant case. The rugged build of the SSD is great and I did do a drop test from 5 ft and it still retained the data and performed as a regular hard-drive. Disappointed that after having used the Touch SSD from Samsung going back to the password based encryption and protection of the HDD data is so outdated. The encryption tool is not compatible with MAC OS Monterey. Even after updating the tool, I was not able to connect HDD. For file transfer from phone, one need to reformat at FAT32 using a Windows machine. The utility software that hard-drive comes with does not include tool to do so. Overall a very average product and not worth the price as one can easily find higher capacity external hard-drive at this price.

I use this drive on my PS5, it is very easy to transfer files due to the speed, i have had samsung hard drives, flash drives and a few ssds this one has got to be my favorite. 1 terabyte is enough to hold a lot of games and photos and the durability is very crazy, it resists being dropped off heights that killed other drives, but this one survives.it connects in seconds to my pc and consoles instantly.

I use my new SSD mostly for my school and work files, but also to keep my phone photos safe. I have a backup af all my files and pictures in there. It's been amazing how easy to use is this device. But not also easy, the transfer speed is surprisingly fast. I've used a lot of memory devices during the years and I can say this is the best one. I would totally recommend thIs producto to everyone.

I've enjoyed using this little beast for a while now. It had been very fast for transfer of files from my insta360 and my phone. I haven't tried it with anything else, but it was purchased for this reason so I've been happy with it. It is a very small form factor and fits easily in your pocket, can even secure it to the tripod fire longer recording. Very happy with this purchase so far!

I love this portable SSD and love that it is very secure! Having a fingerprint reader in the device itself is so convenient. I rated it 4 stars because the software can be a little finicky at times but either after an update or after a few tries the device goes back to normal. I think it's something to do with the software. Highly recommend it though. The read and write speeds are insane!

Wow! I'm really impressed with the Samsung Portable SSD T7 Shield USB 3.2 1TB drive, I was able to transfer 140gb of pictures and videos from my Galaxy S22 Ultra in a matter of minutes and not hours. I normally upload my pictures to the cloud but its nice to be able to back it up to a portable drive that you can carry with you. I would definitely recommend to family and friends.

I was so happy I was able to transfer all the pictures from my phone directly onto the hard drive, I also plugged in my old computer and downloaded all the pictures off of there too. Now I can easily get on the hard drive by plugging it into my phone or computer and access all my pictures, over a decade worth, all in one spot. So glad it had enough storage with more room to go.

I bought the Portable SSD T7 Shield USB 3.2 1TB (BEIGE) one year ago and it still functions perfectly! I've been to six concerts since purchasing and this device holds all of my concert videos, with plenty of storage to spare. There have been no signs of wear and tear even after several (accidental!) drops. Overall, one of my favorite Samsung purchases and i highly recommend!

Bought this for my wife so she can have more portable storage for her photography photos. She loves the simplicity and storage space on this SSD. I bought almost 3 months ago and I must say it has been putting up a great use ever since I got it. The only hiccup I had with the product is when I had a password on it and for some reason when trying to use the ssd on another device it didn't seem to work very well. It took a couple of minutes but I did get it back working, just a small hiccup was all.

I was looking to purchase a portable SSD when I found this portable 1TB SSD. It is rugged and what I wanted in a portable SSD. It was easy to setup and use. basically plugged it in and began using it. Based on my experience with this portable SSD, I probably will be purchasing the same one with a higher storage capacity in the next couple of months.

I bought my portable SSD earlier this year for added space to store my concert videos, and I must say, it has been a GODSEND. I love that it is truly portable and therefore easy to carry around, yet still is durable enough to protect my videos and files. I've dropped it several times (what can I say, I'm a klutz) and it's never caused any issues for me.

I have been using this for awhile now and it's absolutely fantastic. The fingerprint reader is physical security beyond a password. It has backed up our phones and computers. It's a hard copy easy to grab and keep safe for our digital identitys and just an additional way to keep our info safe and secure. I would buy again but the largest size possible.

Computers I've owned in the past turned out to tend to have Samsung hard drives in them. When it came time to make certain of data backup with an external hard drive I therefore thought of Samsung. It's like the classic drives that have been around and also very modern and efficient. It comes with software to protect it with a password.

I love my SSD. I use it for both personal and work. It's very easy to connect to and samsungs app to help protect the data stored is awesome. I save space and keep everything safe at the same time. I would definitely recommend to anyone who cares about their data's safety or their memory space. Samsung always performs above the rest!

I have used this SSD for around 6 months now and it is compatible with our PC and Macbook Pro. It is durable and quickly transfers data. I mostly use to to transfer large video files and photos between computers for editing and publishing. This drive has proven to be reliable and compatible with both PC and Mac using Adobe software.

I got my T7 Shield just recently and LOVE IT. I can save more photos and what not without having to pay for services and not being allowed to access until i do like Google. Plus everything i save i can have the confidence that they are safe with me. If you worty about your content on your phone or computer than you wont regret it.

I started testing this out in order to back up ,all my daughters, photos out of my phone. As soon as I plugged the device in, it began working with my device. I instantly copied everything over and all my photos are safe and secure. This device is easy to use, transfers quickly, and the device is small enough to fit in my pocket.

I have had this for more than a year and have used it regularly. It has withstood regular day to day handling and a couple of minor drops. Despite this, it has been perfectly reliable, quick and convenient to use. I would recommend this over a flash drive or memory card any day, because it is durable and can't easily be lost.

Really great external ssd . Durable. High speed transfer. Portable. I've had zero issues connecting this to my laptop, my phone, and my tablet. The drive itself would be a good product but the port for connecting your USBC cord isn't designed properly and it ejects the cord from the drive. It's so frustrating to have it disconnect on the slightest movement, not to mention the potential for loss of data. This is not a dust issue, no cord will bite in this port.

I have not lost any files videos etc.. in my experience I have not had any thermal issues. I have 3 T7s so ...

After update my MacOS to Ventura the SSD performance started to be very slow, its about a month like that and samsung and apple didnt fixed it yet. On MacOS Monterey its worked very good. I have to say that On my Windows the T7 SSD working perfectly. my Another sandisk SSD working perfectley on Ventura.

Exactly what I was looking for. Needed a large portable HD that I can plug into my tablet to transfer files and then easily plug it into a media player. This does that and then some. Transfer speeds are absolutely INSANE! Transferred 3-4gb media file in less then a minute. So much faster than micro as speeds I’m accustomed to. Not sure why they don’t make all Portable hard drives like this. It has a IP rating (it can’t be submerged under water buts it’s splash resistant and dust proof). Rubberized padding makes this item drop proof as well. I love the design. It’s rugged and durable and I like I don’t have to worry about it breaking or getting scratched. Ready out the box. It comes with duel type C cable and a type C to USB. Everything I need to transfer any file I want. I couldn’t be happier with this item It also works with Mac and Windows. I just use it with my Samsung tablet with Android Os . Also plug it into my Media player and stream movies off it. It works flawlessly.

I own the blue and the black T7 shields and i have to say they have been extremely reliable. I like the ease by which you can setup a passcode to access or just keep it open. They look nice have a grippable texture and are small and easily portable. Would definitely recommend to anyone in the market.

This device is easy to use, carry and store. I have my kids pictures and videos from when they were infants stored on this device. My kids sports highlight videos are on here and I fell they are safely backup. Even though I drop this device several times, it still work and is made tough.

Absolutely amazing storage device for my photos! Everything worked out the box, no setup necessary, and samsung magician is great for seeing the health of the device. Only gripe is the USB-C connector is loose with most cables, and you need specific cables to have it locked in well.

the so best portable SSD best portable SSD t7 Shield by Samsung is a great device I have video games from Steam installed and they run phenomenally on it even though they're not directly stored on my gaming device they are stored externally. with that being said I have noticed the only issue with this device that I seem to experience the connectivity to other USB type-c chords I have a high data transfer and would plug that in and it would work phenomenally but even the lightest top of that cord would cause it to come unplugged so unless I'm using the one provided by Samsung it doesn't seem to want to stay in the durability is really great I like the rugged design of the item however I do wish it had mounting spots I did 3D print a holder for it to attach it to my gaming device so I would have no issues and I haven't because of how Samsung is built the device had any issues with it being to hot despite adding an extra layer of I guess you can say to it as the holder. So the internal cooling seems great.
