Samsung cares for the
dreams of girls in India
Samsung celebrates an inspiring story of Seema Nagar, who hails from a small village of Rajasthan. She defied gender stereotype and went on to pursue training at Samsung Technical School in ITI, Jaipur. Today, she dreams big and wants to set up a ‘Service Centre’ in her village.
Samsung is committed to create a better life for the people of India through the benefits of technology. Samsung Technical Schools are testimony to that commitment. Started in 2013, today there are 20 Samsung Technical Schools across India. 10 schools are in joint collaboration between Samsung India and Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSME). 10 other schools are at ITIs in partnership with the State Governments of Delhi, Bihar, Kerala, Rajasthan and Bengal.
Samsung appoints its authorized trainers to conduct courses at these Technical Schools to provide specialized training. Students from our schools are gainfully employed across different industries and are pursuing their dreams. This is our humble contribution towards ‘Skill India’.

Meet Seema Nagar

Seema Nagar, a student of Samsung Technical School, ITI Jaipur, hails from a small village called Udaipuria in Rajasthan. Her story is a true example of how perseverance backed by proper education and training can help dreams come true. Samsung Technical School in Jaipur provided her with trade specific hands-on experience and technical knowledge, which instilled a new confidence in her. Today, Seema works with one of the largest Samsung service centres in India and is on her path to fulfil her dreams.

Anuvesh Kumar (Varanasi, UP)
Anuvesh Kumar came from a humble background. Securing a job was a clear priority. Samsung Technical School, Varanasi, helped him learn the necessary skills during the training period, which got him a job in a service centre in Varanasi. Soon he started his own service centre named Kumar Enterprises. Today, he is successfully running his venture and wants to create job opportunities for more people.

Mohammad Arif (Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh)
Arif finished his schooling in Varanasi and enrolled for the Mobile Phone Repairing Course at the Samsung Technical School, Varanasi. Arif graduated from the school in 2014 and post his training, he set up a shop called Jan Sewa Kendra. Today, Arif thanks Samsung Technical School for contributing towards expanding his knowledge about mobile devices.

Sreeja (Perumbavoor, Kerala)
Sreeja had a keen interest in mechanical tools. After her initial schooling, she joined a 3-year Diploma Programme in Instrumentation from Government Industrial Training Education, Kalamassery. After completing the course, she joined Samsung Technical School and later joined TVS electronics, Nungambakkam, Tamil Nadu as a Customer Care Officer. Thanks to her hard work, she soon got promoted to the post of Floor Ambassador. Sreeja gives credit to Samsung Technical School for enriching her knowledge base and guiding her towards a better future.

Ankit (Delhi)
Ankit spent his childhood in an orphanage in Delhi where he received basic care and his early education. He then joined a technical institute in Delhi. Here, he heard about Samsung Technical School and soon enrolled for a course. He worked hard and emerged as a topper in his class. He was later hired by one of the largest Samsung service centres as an Assistant Engineer. Today, Ankit is leading a fulfilling life, and thanks Samsung Technical School for preparing him for all the challenges and opportunities.

Satish kumar (Mirzapur, UP)
Satish dreamt of owning an AC service centre. Samsung Technical School, Varanasi helped him achieve his dreams by providing him with necessary technical and entrepreneurial skills. Today, he owns one of the busiest service centres in Varanasi called Satish Enterprises. Despite running a successful business, his constant endeavour remains to acquire more business so he can create job opportunities for people like him.
