Galaxy Smartphones: Change the Screen resolution

Some Samsung devices with high resolution Super AMOLED displays are able to utilise different screen resolutions. The steps on this page are specific to only certain devices. If you're struggling with the size of the text on your device, please check the page on Customise Screen zoom and Font size.

Please Note: This feature is only supported by selected models - the Galaxy S8, Note8, S9, Note9 and S10 Series. 

Screen Resolution Settings:

1 Go to the Settings menu > Display.
Settings > Display
2 Tap on Screen resolution.
Tap on Screen resolution
3 Select a resolution by sliding the circle. Tap on Apply once you have selected your preferred screen resolution.

HD+ (1480x720)  

 

FHD+ (2220x1080)

 

WQHD+ (2960x1440)
