Is there any risk of short circuit if trying to charge Galaxy S7 Edge while USB is wet?

When current is flowing through the USB terminal by connecting the charger while USB port is wet, the device will block the flow of the electrical circuit by detecting the reverse signal received by the other pole and it’s there is no risk of short circuit.
