How to register and set up your Samsung Music Studio using Samsung Sound App

Last Update date : Jun 15. 2026

The Samsung Sound app is designed to enhance the usability of Samsung audio devices, featuring seamless connectivity and an intuitive interface. It supports both single-device use and multi-device configurations, allowing users to control all connected devices through a unified grouping function. In addition, when multiple devices are grouped, the app provides Group Play and Stereo modes to further enhance the listening experience.

The Samsung Sound app is supported on the following models:

- WiFi Speaker (LS70/71H, LS50/51H, LS60D)

- 2026 Soundbar (Q-series)

Note:

  • Support for additional models will be expanded over time.
  • By Q3 2026, support will be extended to include soundbars released between 2023 and 2025.
  • 2024 models will be supported after a software update, which will be rolled out sequentially within the first half of this year.
  • Models released prior to 2023 are not supported by the Samsung Sound app and are instead supported through SmartThings.
  • The Samsung Sound app requires iOS 17.0 / Android 12 or later.
  • Screens and Images are simulated.

To connect a WiFi Speaker to a mobile device by a wireless network (Wi-Fi), the Samsung Sound app is required. It is required to have a certain higher version of OS for the smooth use of Samsung Sound. For more version information, please refer to the Samsung Sound app description in the OS-specific market.

  • Check if there is a previous Bluetooth pairing history between your mobile device and the product. If a pairing record exists, delete it and try connecting again.

With the Samsung Sound app open on your mobile device, select the WiFi Speaker that you have added. The settings menu will appear for the WiFi Speaker, and you can adjust the settings such as Volume, Sound Mode, and Equalizer.

If another user wants to control the WiFi Speaker, the device must be registered on their mobile device as well. Open the Samsung Sound app and follow the on-screen instructions to complete device registration and setup. Once the registration is finished, the WiFi Speaker can be controlled through the app.

Note: A product update is planned for later this year that will allow other users to control the WiFi Speaker without device registration, as long as their mobile device is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as the WiFi Speaker.
