The vacuum itself works very well when the battery works. The battery only hold enough charge to run for 5-10 minutes maximum. Buying new batteries every 10-12 months is ridiculous.

A decent stick vac (I can live with the lack of suction compared to other vacs for the convenience) BUT the battery is useless. Runtime was low from new and now about 3 years later the vacuum is fine but the battery lasts literally 20 seconds. At the price of a new battery I might as well get something that has decent runtime rather than invest in this further. A friend bought a wertheim stick vac at the same time I bought mine and it is still working better than my Samsung did when new.

Original runtime was very poor - but after a few cycles it got better - now it has dropped down to around 1 minute on a supposedly full battery!! It has had a bit of use - but not lots - and only every couple of days for a few minutes at a time. Pretty poor battery quality for what is otherwise a good cleaner.

Went to buy a dyson and got talked into a samsung jet. BIG MISTAKE. Within 18months the battery wasn't fully charging so I wasn't getting more than 10 minutes out of it. Now it's died all together after approx 3 and a half years.
