Llevo un año con esta SSD instalada en una HP 245 G8 Ryzen 3 y 16 Gb de RAM, no alcanza el maximo rendimiento que ofrece debido a la configuración de hardware, unos 900 Mb/s a lo mucho, pero me da la velocidad de carga que requiero y me ayuda a ejecutar programas muy pesados como Photoshop 2022, Office 365, power Pivot, power Query en Excel, el Sql server tambien corre sin problemas, no quiero imaginar las velocidades en un equipo configurado para una SSD de esas capacidades, ya despues experimentaré esos rendimientos,

Since I have changed my laptop ssd to this Evo 970 plus, my elitebook 840 G5 has some blocks and image affected. After return to the original SSD this problem is gone. I'm not 100% of sure if the problem is from Evo, but once nothing else was changed and the laptop works perfectly without the Evo, for sure the problem is the Evo ssd.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first m.2 NVMe SSD and I have to say it has held up over the 2-3 years that I've had it as my Primary Operating System Windows 10 Pro x64 Drive. The only Con I can honestly say, taken into account I have a bunch of Software loaded on it, is that the Load and Boot from Startup time have depreciated a quite noticeable amount. Other than that, I've had no other issues!

Hij ziet over loop der tijd welke geheugen banken slechter worden door behulp van sensoren. Je hoeft daardoor dus geen diagnostic test te doen. De kaart is makkelijk te installeren. Het is ee m key, past dus op elk moederbord. Er komt een m2 schroef bij. Je hebt een overzicht in de app van samsung magician. Je kunt daar ook benchmarks mee doen. Verder nooit problemen mee gehad. Beste ssd ever

i have had this drive for about a year and a half now... i had it for about 3 months and then i kinda messed it up in the bios. still dont know what happened. it started making hdd noises and killed itself when booting back into windows. sent it off to samsung for a repair and it has worked like nothing ever happened! 15/10 would recommend!

this is my first m.2 ssd and i love the speed as well as the fact it opens up more space in my very small micro atx case. installation is easy and though it costs more than a standard ssd the extra speed and smaller size make up for it. i looked at many other options but in the end i trusted samsung more for performance quality and longevity.

detail is hp in their infinite wisdom required an m3 screw to tie it down to the motherboard. several trips to the hardware store. but it fits fine. longer screws at store, so use a couple of bolts at the top to shorten. some people though bios update required, but not my case. bios ami f.20 11/2/2017

Zakup szybki i bez zbędnych problemów. Najszybszy dysk jaki mam (Seq. read: 3530 MB/s, Seq. write 2450 MB/s) i tak miało być. Program do migracji danych (do pobrania ze strony) poradził sobie bardzo dobrze. Jest jeszcze za wcześnie na ocenę trwałości ale po doświadczeniach z mniejszym modelem jestem pozytywnie nastawiony.

I bought this a few days ago to replace my 1TB HDD. I downloaded the Data Migration tool and cloned the drive to the new SSD. I'm only using 236 GB. But when I bench tested with the Samsung Magician, it shows only 815 MB/s Read and 790 MB/s Write. Far below what it's advertised as. Not sure what's wrong. At least it's faster than the HDD. The Diagnostic Scan in Magician says this drive does not support it.

J'ai acheté ce 970 EVO dans sa version 500go et franchement rien à redire.Tout d'abord les performances sont très bonnes:Windows 10 démarre en moins de 10 secondes, les débits sont très rapides et les programmes et les jeux se lancent super rapidement.Au niveau des températures c'est correct même si il faudra prévoir peut être un refroidisseur notamment si vous faites du montage vidéo ou le SSD aura tendance à chauffer plus . Seul bémol que je pourrais reprocher:il n'y a pas de vis intégrer pour le fixer à la carte mère,un peu dommage pour le prix.

I have previously lost pictures with my laptop not working. We got this Samsung memory card and put in an external shell. It is amazing!! We were able to add all of our photographs and videos of all our vacation destinations and have room to add stuff (next destination : Thailand) The interface is very easy to use and the files are simple to access. This V-NAND Drive really is the ultimate performance champ. The physical drive Design is no larger than a stick of gum, yet has an amazing speed and storage capacity. Since it is a solid state memory storage with no moving parts, the durability is also very high. The enclosure I used is an aluminum enclosure I can hide my pocket or bad. The enclosure I am using allows me to use this drive on both OSX and Windows. I have not had any errors or slowdowns with this drive and it has performed stable and trouble free. I use is mostly to transfer large video files for editing and works flawlessly. The Samsung Magician software was helpful in getting my firmware updated and allows me to see my other internal SSD drives on my computer at the same time. I have only used about half of the 256GB of the drive yet it has shown no slowdowns or delays. Although the drive can achieve sequential read/write speeds up to 3,500/3,300 MB/s, my USB-C portable system has only allowed me to get slightly over 1100MB/s. This is not the drives fault, it is the way I am using the drive. Overall I love this drive for the small size and slim slender profile. I would highly recommend it.

Most people do not know what the difference between a SSD, M.2, and HDD are. Well, I got this for you and I will explain. So HDD (Hard Disk Drive) is one of the first drives to be created for storage properties. The way they work is kind of like a record player, there are black disks inside the case that spin and get read by needles on a stick. The faster the disks spin the faster the information is read or written depending on what you are trying to do at the time. Back around 3-4 years ago the standard speed was 7200 rotations per minute (RPM), but some cheaper computers shipped with 5400 RPM. Gamers who wanted to have a faster hard drive to have games loaded faster and games installed faster (before SSD was available) would opt for a 10,000 RPM HDD. Along came SSD, and by no means was it cheap, but, it had speeds of 10X faster than a 7200 RPM HDD. This made it very popular for gamers and high end video and photography editors. But, as all technology does, it got cheaper over time and now it is hard to find a laptop that does not ship with a 256gb or higher SSD . The way they were able to speed up the technology was to remove the spinning disks and went for a computer chip instead. It is essentially like RAM in terms of being read. Shortly after SSD came M.2 and this really only changed the way it was physically plugged into a computer, which is through a PCI-E slot. But this increased the read/write speeds as well. This hard drive I was able to use for the past two weeks is phenomenal. This boasts read/write speeds up to 3500/3300 MB/s, (compared to a HDD of 350 MB/s! with 7200 RPM). It can have up to 1TB of storage on a chip that is not much larger than a flash drive. and comes with an unheard of 5 Year Warranty. And to top it off it comes with a free software that gives user-friendly resources to let you know if there is something wrong, or, just give you information you might need or want. In conclusion, for those of you that are looking for a hard drive that is not only reliable, fast, compact, and coming from a reputable brand, but something you will know to be your first choice, then choose this 970 Evo Plus hard drive. I never thought my SSD could be the bottleneck. After I added the Samsung 970 EVO plus M2 drive, the performance improved significantly, the sep up was extremely easy. My computer boots way too fast, programs open lot quicker now, and switching programs are almost instantaneous. Just to experiment, I cut down the RAM to half size, and I did not notice any performance degradation. This is amazing. I will go ahead and switch harddrives in my other laptops with the Samsung 970 EVO plus. I would surely recommend this to anyone who wants to improve their laptop or desktop performance.

The only problem I faced was instructions. They are very vague when it comes to how to install or download the software. Finally we figured to download the Samsung magician software after calling Samsung. And it worked. Even though Samsung magician is hard to understand with no instructions in the manual. It took us a while to set the SSD with the software. But once it was installed, it worked with amazing speed. I think 250 GB is perfect for my use. I made partitions on Samsung magician for my kids photos and business. Still tons of space. It is Fast, affordable and amazing. I never thought of its speed will be that awesome. I use this SSD as my home based business. Since I spend doing 98% of my work on laptop. This 970 evo plus SSD saved my life. Thank you Samsung. Now honestly the PS4 is a great system and is fast and good with storage. But I never realized how much better could be with the Samsung 907 EVO plus M2 drive. Everything ever since has improve which is a bit mind boggling. Obviously storage is expected with 250GB but also performance, speed and gaming experience was so much better. And its quite easy to replace and set up, there are many YouTube videos out there to replace your hard drive with and SSD that have detailed step by step instructions. I would highly recommend this product to everyone not only those who want to improve gaming experience like I did but also for those who want to improve their experience on a computer.

These 970 evo plus are even faster come with the awesome 5 year warranty and work every every time. I installed these, which was extremely easy with one screw, in clients workstations at a auto repair shop they were amazed by how fast they boot and load there application. The factory SSD installed on the laptop was fairly quick, but the Samsung 970 EVO Plus is blazing fast! No other SSD can compare. With 500MB/s Seq. Read speeds and 2,300MB/s Seq. Write speeds, it makes multitasking and video editing a breeze. On my laptop, the read speeds were well over 2 gbps! My computer booted a lot faster, applications and programs loaded way quicker, and video post processing was almost 50% faster! I was so amazed by the performance. The only downside for me would be the storage capacity. I wish I had a 500gb or 1tb SSD. My laptop only has one slot on the motherboard so if I want more storage, I would need an external harddrive or upgrade this SSD to a bigger capacity. However all in all, this is the best SSD on the market today!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had been using the Samsung Evo Plus 970 NVMe 250GB SSD for the past month. Got it to add as a boot drive for my new PC build. The box came packaged well, and doesnt have any chance of slipping from its slot while shipping. For the first week, havent finished the build yet, so started using the EVO Plus using the external Samsung X5 SSD shell, by replacing the existing hardrive that came with the package. The speeds are much better on the Evo Plus, compared to the default drive that is in the X5 with speeds over 30% to the default drive. When testing the read-speeds, it was over 2GBPS, which is the highest I had seen on all the SSD devices that I have including the NVMe SSDs. Tested the speeds with Macbook Pro 15 with TBT3 and Alienware M15 with TBT3. Mac harddrive is over 20% slower than the Evo Plus 970 NVMe SSD. With Alienware M15, the write speeds of Alienware default NVMe drive is over 600Mbps for a 16GB file while the Evo Plus stayed at around 400Mbps. But the Read speeds for the same file is over 2.6Gbps for 970 Evo Plus, but around 1.7Gbps for the default NVME on M15(but also to consider is that the 970 Evo Plus is connected via TBT3 whereas the internal drive is connected to the motherboard directly, so expect that the 970 Evo Plus will have probably higher speeds when replaced the existing NVMe on M15. When plugged into desktop, on MSI Z370-A Pro, was able to get seq read speeds almost reaching 3000Mbps and seq write speeds around 2400Mbps, which is awesome as a basic boot drive and to have games load from the drive. I also have 2 secondary drives that use Samsung 860 QVO which have good speeds for data storage and read. Only thing I missed out on when getting the drive is that I didnt consider the size of games, so since I have only 250GB drive, restricted, but planning on upgrading the motherboard to be able to get two NVMe ports to allow plugging in another 970 EVO Plus The harddrive helps with quick and fast boot of the desktop, with under 2 seconds to boot and had no issues playing AAA games on high settings(Config is i7-8700K and 16GB 3000MHZ RAM and 2070 RTX) Pros: Fast Read speeds and Write speeds Cons: Could have some better heat sink to prevent it getting a bit hot, but going to get a new MOBO with heatsink to prevent this

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My computer is fairly new, with latest processor and motherboard. I added more RAM, but I only observed minimal improvement in the performance. I never thought my SSD could be the bottleneck. After I added the Samsung 970 EVO plus M2 drive, the performance improved significantly. My computer boots way too fast, programs open lot quicker now, and switching programs are almost instantaneous. Just to experiment, I cut down the RAM to half size, and I did not notice any performance degradation. This is amazing. I will go ahead and switch harddrives in my other laptops with the Samsung 970 EVO plus. I would surely recommend this to anyone who wants to improve their laptop or desktop performance.

Uitermate tevreden met de nieuwe SSD! Plug and play installatie, ingesteld als boot-drive en mijn systeem boot in slechts enkele seconden. Het kopiëren van bestanden gaat vele malen sneller dan bij mijn vorige SSD. Aanrader, zeer blij mee!

Ik kocht deze m.2ssd om de oude hdd die ik nog had te vervangen en ben uiterst tevreden over dit product. Van instalatie tot gebruik is het een topper. je hebt er geen kabels voor nodig plugt rechtstreeks in op je moederbord of uitbreidingskaart. Ik denk ongeveer een 10-tal keer sneller dan de oude hdd van 0 naar boot in 30s, geen ellelange wachttijden meer in mijn games en filetransfersnelheden om u tegen te zeggen. zeker een aanrader voor iedereen die wat meer respons uit zijn/haar pc wil halen

Ik heb dit product vorige week gekocht. Ik realiseerde het me toen nog niet hoe groot verschil het zou maken op mijn pc. Eerst moest ik altijd een kwartier van te voren mijn pc opstarten als ik hem wilde gebruiken en dan nog steeds bleef die afentoe sloom met files laden of in laden op een spel. Me deze ssd start ik mijn pc in 10seconden op en kan ik meteen daarna al dingen doen op mijn pc. Hij laad alles vrijwel meteen in. Echte aanrader!

Ben er erg tevreden mee want ik had daar voor heen een SSD, maar die ging na loop van tijd op en toen kocht ik deze kracht patser met meer snelheid makkelijk van 3.555 MB`s Lees snelheid, schrijven doet 2.321 neem geen ruimte in PC kast direct op het moederbord !

I have both the 960 Evo and the 970 Evo and have enjoyed both. The speed is far better then any SSD that I have owned and when it comes to dollar per performance, these drives are far better then most others out there.

Purchased this with a new motherboard. Installation was very simple. Installed Windows 10 from a USB 3.0 stick in a few minutes. During the configuration of Windows and the installation of the drivers from the motherboard application, I didn't even realize my computer was rebooting. I thought it was just the screen flickering. The reboot took 4 seconds!!!!!! Anyway, pretty awesome to have this running. I tested the speed using the Samsung Magician software and my read clocked higher than the MAX read of 3,400 MB/s and the Write was at the advertised MAX. Very pleased

Ik ben van hardeschijf en ssd naar ssd en m.2 gegaan. ik merk meteen dat het sneller is en beter ik raad iedereen aan om minimaal een ssd te hallen liefte een m.2 het voordeel van samsung is dat deze het beste getest is qua snelheid en levens duur plus je kan via de samsung magican alles goed regelen.

samsung is altijd al mijn go to merk. Niet alleen voor een SSD, maar ook voor TV, telefoon en andere elektronica. Mijn Samsung EVO 950 250GB was aan een update toe en wat extra schijfruimte was ook niet verkeerd. Uiteindelijk op de 970 terecht gekomen. En wow wat een snelheidsverschil. Daarnaast het gemak van migratie met de migratie en clone tool maakt het leven tot een waar feest. Zodra ik weer ga upgraden is Samsung de enige waar ik nog naar kijk.

Vorige maand deze M2 SSD gekocht en geïnstalleerd in mijn nieuwe high end workstation. Deze wordt voornamelijk gebruikt voor CAD en FEM werkzaamheden gebruikt. Ik heb de evo m.2 500gb laatste maand aangeschaft. Installeren was makkelijk, echter had ik wel wat moeite met het omzetten van mijn moederbord. Met de problemen (RAID) had ik een leessnelheid van 2500MB/s echter na wat aanpassingen in de BIOS kwam er een mooie 3554 MB/s uit ik ben tevreden. Even goed opletten dat je overgaat op de AHCI ipv RAID en dan zal alles perfect werken. Ik kan het iedereen aanraden wat een toppertje!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Now as my boot drive, Windows 7 loads super-fast. - very pleased. One thing though, I notice that my UEFI Bios no longer saves the hibernation data properly, so Windows complains when it is awoken from hibernation - a bit of a disappointment. This could be something to do with my ASRock Z97 Killer mobo (Bios version: P2.60, date Mar, '18), and not the Samsung NVMe M2 SSD, but it does leave me a little disappointed. Using Samsung's Data migration s/w is so easy. Transfer of my windows installation from my older SSD to this new one was easy, and it is nice to be able to see the internals and benchmark via the Magician s/w. Great product on the whole!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was curious how much faster an NVMe M.2 drive was compared to an SSD so I installed the 970 EVO 250GB NVMe in my Windows 10 Pro PC. It turned out to be twice as fast as my 860 EVO 250GB SSD. To be honest though, the SSD could boot up in under 30 seconds and the NVMe in under 15, so both times were very fast. The nice thing about an NVMe drive is that it is installed directly onto the motherboard so you don't have to bother with a SATA cable or a power cable and it makes the airflow in your PC's case that much better. I love it. Let's see how long it lasts.
