I upgraded from my Glaxay A15 to the A17. And I miss my old phone, firstly, the A15 has a better battery, larger ram, runs faster. And doesn't take 20 years to load a youtube video or a google search. I have to regularly restart apps or my phone entirely to get it to work. And 2 entirely GB of ram for a phone 2 generations of phones better than the A15. The only difference is the camera is better

Took several goes and a large system update to get smart switch to work. I upgraded from an A13 as it had nearly maxed out storage and had got very laggy. This doubles the storage and it is less laggy but not completely instant. The camera seems especially prone to lag. Photo quality is ok but not stellar. It seems to power through the battery a bit faster than the A13 but my usage varies day to day so hard to do a fair test. My biggest dislike is there's no separate SMS app as it's gone over to Google messages which combines all messaging streams - I prefer to check different sources of messages with different frequency as a productivity tool, so I'm really annoyed about this.

I purchased the Samsung A17 5G for my wife because she was using an old Diro phone which had limited abilities and she is not technically gifted. She does use a Samsung I pad so the transition to the phone was relatively easy. The phone is easy to use and has large text with 1 tab phone contacts. Having read reviews about this phone battery life being short I can honestly say that it last a long time for the purpose it was purchased for phone calls. I suspect the short battery life may be if the phone is used for extended Internet use but for basic phone use it is fine. The price was also very good for a basic mobile phone. It can be a little slow but it is not a major problem.

I bought this phone 2 months ago. I think the battery life of the phone is little bit of short. But the camera quality is the best.my previous phone is samsungj7. Now a 17 is very easy to use. But I think it's display may be more long about 6.8 or 6.9 inches. The performance of the phone is so good but I expect more than that. Would not recommend this phone steer clear. Phone has been returned under warranty via retailer for not holding charge for any longer than half a day since we've owned it under normal use, calls txts and social media etc no online gaming etc this phone is not preforming fit for intended use amd hasn't since we bought it in February. The retailer sent phone to the samsung repair agent in another state but he repairer's verdict was there's nothing's wrong with it after a simple software check and then charged me $66 for his time and threatened to not return the phone if I didn't pay. I rang samsung warranty team for support and got the run around by them who told me nothing they can do and to deal with repair agent it all just went around in circles until after 6 weeks with no phone I was forced to pay to get a faulty phone back which still wont hold charge for a reasonable time frame, 5 hours and it's flat from %100 not being used and if it's used it can be flat in a couple of hours we have to take chargers everywhere with us just to get through the day. Absolutely disgusting customer service weve always bought samsung phones amd never had issues but I will never buy samsung again after thks experience. Phone is now back in our home after 6 weeks and a cost to look at it and its still no different. The whole experience was very draining such a waste of money with zero support from samsung. Do kit recommend this product.

Beste allemaal voorheen heb ik een A14 4G in gebruik gehad waar ik hem voor nodig had zeer tevreden ben geweest. Mijn A17 5G is veel sneller en de opslag is groter. Ik ben geen man van spelletjes en voor mijn dagelijks gebruik ben ik zeer tevreden. Ik heb al een hele tijd problemen met mijn Galaxy, en niemand weet blijkbaar een oplossing. Telkens als ik de GSM wil gebruiken, krijg ik het bericht NOODOPROEP te zien, en moet tot vervelens toe, mijn wachtwoord invullen. Is hier een oplossing voor?

Hallo Terry2, Het lijkt erop dat je met een vervelend probleem zit met je Galaxy A17 5G. Het bericht "NOODOPROEP" kan soms verschijnen als de simkaart niet goed is geplaatst of als er een onregelmatigheid is. Probeer je simkaart opnieuw te plaatsen en kijk of dat helpt. Vergeet niet dat deze smartphone ideaal is voor dagelijks gebruik, met een krachtige batterij die tot 2 dagen meegaat. Hopelijk vind je een oplossing, zodat je weer optimaal van je toestel kunt genieten! 😊

Prima telefoon, alleen jammer dat de accu best snel leegloopt; bij normaal gebruik gaat hij ongeveer 1,5 dag mee terwijl ik bij de a13 2 dagen gewend was. Verder zeer tevreden mee!.

Hoi Moes D, Fijn om te horen dat je zo tevreden bent met de Galaxy A17 5G! De batterij heeft inderdaad zijn uitdagingen, maar met zijn 5.000 mAh zou je bij normaal gebruik zo'n 2 dagen moeten kunnen halen. Probeer ook eens de eco-modus voor een langere batterijduur als je in de buurt bent van 1,5 dag. Geniet van de geweldige camera en het heldere scherm tijdens je dagelijkse gebruik! Veel plezier met je toestel! 📱
