Aspectos destacados

The monitor shows pixel density comparison between 1920x1080 pixel FHD high definition and 2560x1440 pixel QHD high definition by dividing the screen into two different regions. QHD high definition shows richer, more detailed ship and planetary surfaces.

QHD

A man sits at an Odyssey G5 monitor in dim lighting, using a mouse and keyboard while wearing headphones. A blue light placed on the upper side of the bezel highlights the curvature of the monitor.

Curvatura de 1000R

A monitor which is seen from its right side shows two spaceships blasting off into space. The monitor is split in two to show the difference in display quality comparing two different refresh rates and response time, one for Samsung conventional monitor with 60Hz and 5ms and the other for Odyssey G5 with 165Hz and 1ms.

165Hz

Two monitors side by side show the same spaceship. The left side is FreeSync Off while the right side is FreeSync On, demonstrating the impact of FreeSync in preventing screen tearing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Samsung Odyssey G7 28” has exceeded my expectations. The 4K UHD display is sharp and vibrant, with excellent color accuracy and contrast. Gaming feels incredibly smooth thanks to the 144Hz refresh rate and low input lag, making it ideal for competitive play. I also appreciate the slim design, sturdy stand, and wide range of connectivity options, which make it very versatile for both work and entertainment. Even during long sessions, the Eye Saver mode helps reduce eye strain, which is a big plus. Overall, this monitor delivers top performance for gaming, streaming, and productivity. Highly recommended for anyone looking for quality and smooth gameplay.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We use this monitor exclusively for gaming. I like clean look with a thing bezel. The response rate is good colors are accurate. We mainly play on an xbox, that means we cant take advantage of some of the features exclusively available via PC gaming. The monitor gets the job done though. We purchased 2 more to complete our game room. What I did prefer it have was a better cable management system. Maybe a slot for the power brick behing it. That brick is challenging to hide. Otherwise everything else is great, it can move up and down, turn to the sides slightly. If you want a nice simple yet quality made monitor for console or PC gaming at a good price. I recommend this monitor.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Samsung Odyssey G55C 27” Curved Gaming Monitor completely changed my setup. The 1000R curve really pulls you into the action—it feels natural and easy on the eyes, especially during long sessions. The 165Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time make everything look sharp and fluid, with no screen tearing or ghosting. Colors pop, contrast is deep, and games look incredible right out of the box. The design is clean and solid, and the stand is sturdy without taking up too much desk space. Setup was quick, and I didn’t need to mess around much with settings to get a great picture. For the price, the performance and visual quality are hard to beat.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This monitor offers an impressive viewing experience. The high refresh rate ensures smooth motion, making it perfect for fast-paced action. The 4K resolution delivers stunning clarity and detail, bringing visuals to life. With HDR support, the monitor offers a wider range of colors and brightness, enhancing the overall picture quality. It's the best monitor I've ever owned. I use it for gaming and my graphic design work. I love it. If I bought another one, I would probably go for a flat one, as it is better for design work. However, this one is just fine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this monitor for gaming and watching video content. I have been extremely pleased with what I've seen so far. Refresh rate and and response time have been highly impressive while gaming, whether it be FPS or action/adventure games. HDR content is especially impressive when watching videos. Every detail is crisp and jumps right off the screen! The smart features are also a major bonus as I can just use the included remote to operate the monitor. The ability to connect external audio is a major benefit as I can bits enjoy full, vibrant sound while watching content and gaming. I'm extremely happy with this monitor and can't recommend it enough!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this product almost everyday for streaming, gaming, I watch movies on it. It's the best monitor I've ever had honestly. I've always been a huge fan of their products and always will be. Game cinematics on this monitor are ridiculous. Movie graphics as well as gaming graphics are truly next level. I've never seen such vibrant color especially when it comes to dark scenes. Usually you can't really see real detailed graphics when it's a really dark scene because it's all saturated and black. However there's no problem with that here. Absolutely love this product and I definitely would recommend it to anyone willing to listen.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For years I've been an avid gamer, mainly console. All my experience has been through a the a TV. It was only once I had kids I knew I needed an alternative and my own little space to game. The 27 Odyssey G55 ticked all the boxes for me. From the low cost to the quality of the picture for my Xbox series X and Ps5, and that's really all I needed. The curve took some getting use to as I've never used one before but the 1000R really grabs you right from the go especially with FPS games. The menu settings were a little fidgety but once I figured it out I didn't need to change it. Definitely Worth getting for casual gamers and dads.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use my monitor for all kinds of purposes - for work, school, gaming, etc.. Both my husband and I have noticed that the screen resolution was great (with the HDMI cable hookup). In a way, the presentation was even better than what was projecting on my husband's 4 year old gaming laptop. My family is loving the purchase for its affordability at a reasonable price, and a great resolution & seamless projection. A design issue that we have always had with the monitor is that the blue ON light at night does not completely go away (either blinks or stays on) and I sometimes have to physically block the light with a cover for sleepless nights... but overall this has been a very minor problem for us and the pros of owning this monitor definitely outweighed this con.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After months of research in order to buy my first monitor, this one in specific kept popping up time after time. I bought this product even though the price initially scared me but I'm glad I bought this product as it was not only worth the money but worth the investment. I originally bought this for gaming but in terms of productivity, this monitor is perfect especially since it has integrated speakers/mic. From the built in apps with a bass heavy speakers to a custom RGB backlight and dedicated gaming settings, this monitor really does have it all. Even though I just got this monitor a few weeks ago, I look forward to learning about the monitor more and fully customizing it to fit my needs. If you have the budget and trust samsung like I do, then this product is most definitely worth it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use my g70b 28 inch monitor for gaming with my Xbox series x and also stream movies and watch tv shows with it. I have been using the monitor ever since I got it setup was quick and easy came with a nice remote which I love and also has speakers built in with nice audio. I’ve been playing halo infinite and destiny 2 with the monitor and have noticed outstanding graphics as well as low lag and nice input for the gaming I do weather it’s 4k 60fps or 120fps there’s nothing to not love about this monitor I chose the 28 inch over the 32 inch becuase I prefer something smaller to game on as I am farsighted and it’s very easy to adjust to. I would highly recommend this monitor to any gamer whether your playing on pc, Xbox, PlayStation or even Nintendo your going to get everything you need and want for gaming out of it and then some I’m very pleased with the purchase and I know you will be to!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like this screen because it has a good quality resolution, nice back and front lights, I also like the tilt feature and the adjustable heights feature but the best thing was the price it's really great price, it would be nice to make the new generation smart and add speakers so it would be more desirable and more functional for all people rather be a gamer or none gamer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use my gaming monitor for 4k gaming. I have an high end pc rig that allows me to play games on 4k with great fps. One of the great features i love about this monitor is the game mode. It automatically switches to the appropiate rwsolutiom when playing games vs using the monitor as a tv. Quite literally plug in and play, no need to mess with settings.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I currently use it for both work and play, I have the display port running to my Gaming PC and the HDMI input running to my work computer and I’m able to easily switch between the two inputs. The settings to set up the monitor for prime display set up is easy. I love the monitor and can’t wait to dive more in depth into what it offers.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I primarily use it for gaming, and I can personally vouch for it being my favorite monitor of those I own—an Asus and an Intel monitor. But neither comes close to my G5 in refresh rate and color replication. It's a top-tier monitor for anyone looking to enter the curved monitor world without spending thousands of dollars.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The monitor has worked great for gaming with consoles and a computer. Good color accuracy i can't notice any ghosting at higher frame rates. Only issue i have had with the monitor is a weird flickering brightness when trying to use the smart monitor part of it. Speakers are loud never used them past halfway.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this monitor mainly for office work. 27-in is perfect. Not too big not too small. But don't get me wrong it's definitely great for gaming especially for the price and high refresh rate. Still trying to figure out the HDR setting. Is extremely affordable and totally worth it. Would recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Monitor works as intended on my PS5. Frame rate is really smooth, never had an issue playing COD and Fornite. Curve isn't an issue if you're on the fence about it. If you're an average gamer a couple of hours here and there this monitor will do the trick, no need to go OLED and spend the extra money.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The 27" Odyssey G55C Curved Gaming Monitor delivers an immersive experience with its 1000R curvature, WQHD resolution, and vibrant VA panel. Its 165Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time ensure smooth, fluid gameplay, complemented by AMD FreeSync Premium to eliminate screen tearing. The sleek design, HDR10 support, and crisp visuals make it ideal for gaming and multimedia use, though its HDR performance and stand adjustability are limited. Despite lacking built-in speakers and USB ports, it offers excellent value for gamers seeking performance and immersion in a mid-range monitor.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I do use my monitor for my everyday work and school of course and it perfectly true color tones are excellent, other monitors won't bash other brands, but after some time of staring at the monitors on other brands my eyes would hurt and become dry I don't know why exactly but for some reason my Samsung Odyssey monitor with its true deep coloring and soft whites I have yet to experience anything close to the discomfort I had with other brand monitors. Now I of course game I mean why else would I mostly want to get best quality monitors unless I mainly wanted best gaming experience possible. My overall performance has increased when it comes to my gaming and I can only imagine is because of Samsungs world class products. Again to go back to the vast true color tones and the absolute best you can get on the market in my opinion the refresh rate and fast actions are so clear and once you experience the as I call Sam world class excellence you can never achieve that rush of euphoria from your gaming rig again with any other brand PERIOD!!!! Thank you Samsung

the monitor would frequently and randomly just go black for a couple seconds. this is not a cable or gpu issue. i did not have this problem with any other monitor. there was also the flickering at high fps which i discovered after some research was common with this model. i also hated that this monitor came packed with samsung bloatware . more features isn't always a benefit when they aren't features that you want or need. i just wanted a gaming monitor but this is more like a smart tv that you can use as a monitor. just to access settings you have to navigate through a bunch of menu's and ads for streaming services. no thanks. i replaced it with a monitor from another brand that was both cheaper and better.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This monitor has been really great! The smart features really help by having everything in one device when using entertainment and games! I am able to connect my headphones and my Xbox controller and just play straight from the display! The downside to this would be the quality of the software, it's slow and freezes up. It's due to it being made by Samsung, they're using Tizen UI/OS. When I'm loading one app and try another it takes its sweet time loading even if it's hard wired to the router. The best feature I like about this monitor is the connectivity it has to many devices! I would recommend you check it for dead pixels before seeing up properly, I noticed that some of the monitors I've owned and seen have that.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Samsung Odyssey G5 C27G55T is a budget-friendly 1440p gaming monitor. It sits below the Samsung Odyssey G7 C32G75T in Samsung's 2020 lineup, and it's since been replaced by the Samsung Odyssey G5/G55A S27AG55. It has the basic gaming features most gaming monitors have, like a 144Hz refresh rate, native FreeSync variable refresh rate (VRR) support, and G-SYNC compatibility. It's available in various sizes, as there are 27 and 32-inch models with a 16:9 aspect ratio and an ultrawide 34-inch model. All of them feature a curved screen with an aggressive 1000R curve.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Since I bought this monitor i use it to play in my ps5 and also to watch Netflix, youtube, and many other things buying this monitor is one of the best things that has ever happened to me, before buying this monitor I wasn't going through a great situation in my life, I had a lot of problems to solve at home and I felt so empty because at that time I had almost nothing in my room I slept on the floor because I didn't have a bed but in those days thank god I had already found a job and I had that joy that I was going to be able to save money and buy the things I had always wanted since I was a little boy, everything happened little by little first I bought my bed as I had planned I bought all the things I had always wanted and to conclude my happiness I remembered the times when I was little and I only watched gameplays on youtube about games and everyone had a monitor to get the most out of the gaming experience, and from there I decided that I was going to fulfill the dream of that poor child who always wanted to have his own set of games to play and have fun, I bought the ps5 and combined it with the best technology in the world which is samsung I bought my odyssey g7

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Samsung curved gaming monitor is a fantastic piece of tech that delivers on its promises. From its quick setup to its immersive curved screen and excellent picture quality, this monitor is a solid choice for gamers and anyone seeking a visually engaging experience. Unboxing and Setup The monitor’s quick arrival was a welcome start. Setting up the stand was straightforward. Lacks adjustability, might need a monitor arm. Visual Experience The picture quality is a standout feature, delivering clear and vibrant visuals that enhance the overall gaming and viewing experience. The curve of the screen creates an immersive, almost cinematic feel, drawing you into the game world. The screen size meets expectations, and the curved screen adds a new dimension to the viewing experience. Gaming Performance In fast-paced games like Valorant, the monitor provides a smooth gaming experience, with clear and good surround audio. While the game’s smoothness is also attributed to the CPU, the monitor’s high refresh rate ensures smooth gameplay with zero lag, even during intense moments. Additional Features The monitor includes both HDMI and DisplayPort cables, offering flexibility in connectivity. It also has an audio output port for connecting headphones or speakers. Drawbacks The absence of stand adjustability may be a downside for some, potentially requiring an additional arm.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 10/10. The Samsung Odyssey G7 28" 4K has been the best non-OLED screen experience I have had, full stop. I use it for school during the day, gaming with my laptop at night, music production for my game dev company on weekends, and I keep a PS5 hooked up on HDMI for quick sessions. It handles all of it without a hiccup. Text is razor sharp at 4K, which makes readings, slides, and long docs easy on the eyes. The 144 Hz refresh with low input lag keeps shooters and racers feeling tight on my laptop, and VRR support smooths out the odd frame drop. Colors are vivid without looking cartoonish, blacks are surprisingly deep for an IPS, and HDR is punchy enough to matter. It is not OLED, yet I never worry about burn-in, and the matte finish keeps glare down in a bright room. For production work, the resolution and clean pixel structure give me room for a full DAW timeline, mixer, and plugins at once. The factory tuning is solid, and after a quick calibration the panel looks consistent across the desk. Build quality is sturdy, the stand has useful adjustments, and the OSD is quick to navigate. HDMI 2.1 lets the PS5 push 4K at high refresh in supported titles, and swapping inputs is instant. Fan noise is nonexistent, heat is minimal, and the wake behavior is reliable. After months of mixed use, the G7 has been a problem-free anchor for my setup. If you want a single 4K monitor that does everything well, this is it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Asia's monitor for my main computer in office needs. I play a lot of games on it with very high settings and it shows and it is very fast and it is a one-stop shop monitor so if you're looking into getting a monitor for gaming and an all-around home use this will be your ticket to the last model that you will ever need to get it's has professional gaming responses and the color is absolutely phenomenal and it's very crisp and won't let you down. And the size of it is just big enough for a desk but also isn't small whatsoever. And size does matter.

I've smacked em by accident countless times going by or ect which made me grit my teeth and check if they were OK...Yet thankfully they haven't stopped working. These are way better compared to other brands as I have had those small lil bumps in life cause monitors to Crack instantly and ruined...Happened 2 times til I got these and put em on a strong metal double arm desk monitor mount which allows it to freely be safe away from everything harmful to devices

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Samsung Odyssey G55c (Model LS27CG552ENXZA) is a standout choice for gamers seeking an immersive experience. With 27-inch curved display, this monitor envelops you in your favorite games, making you feel part of their story. The 1440-p resolution offers impressive visuals with sharp details and lively colors, boosting the overall gaming atmosphere. The 240Hz refresh rate ensures smooth gameplay, minimizing motion blur and providing a favorable experience in fast-paced titles or just in general. Additionally, the 1ms response time keeps actions fluid and responsive, very important for serious gamers. Design-wise, the G55C boasts a sleek aesthetic with a slim bezel and adjustable stand, to which I opted to replace not because the stand wasn't good it actually was pretty sweet with robust adjustability. I replaced my stand with a wall mount do to my cats which love to jump on the desk. Enough said on that part we know what cats like to do. The curvature of the screen is well built, providing a more natural field of view without any distortions. However, while the monitor excels in performance, the brightness levels could be higher for well-lit environments. Some users may also find the default settings require fine-tuning for the best color accuracy. Overall, the Samsung Odyssey G55C is an impressive gaming monitor that combines style, performance, and immersive technology. Its a great choice for gamers looking to elevate their experience without breaking the bank.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm an avid gamer and also a student. So when getting my new pc set up my mom decided to purchase this monitor for me and it blew my mind. Not only are the graphics insane but the resolution allows for better gameplay. I can easily switch between researching and writing essays to playing games. The larger screen allows for me to see the games better and it's the highlight of my desk. I absolutely recommend the 4k option for any gamers or anyone who is trying to design things in great detail since the resolution is so high. 10/10 product!

When it comes to this monitor, it stops at nothing to show how amazing it is. The curve allows you to see the full aspects of your surrounding area in game. It refreshes so quickly that it allows you to have flawless gameplay with no stutters or mess ups! As for the resolution. You can game to about 165 fps with games like marvel rivals and many competitive fps games reaching a total of about 200 FPS. Whether you want to have a brighter screen or a lighter one. The Samsung odyssey allows the readjust with the many settings in the menu. The game mode/HDR can allow you to adjust the settings in games about how the background blurs in real world time! The amd freesync allows you to have that effortless gameplay with your system or pc. I would recommend to anyone who’s looking to upgrade their monitor!

This monitor has been nothing but problems. Certain features don't even bother to work and the monitor itself spends most of its time flickering or asking me to connect it to WiFi than actually doing what it should. A non-exhaustive list of issues I've had: 1) Monitor does not input switch between devices - this has literally never worked. Tech support insists this is working as intended… 2) When waking a computer from sleep, the monitor sometimes doesn't recognize it and just insists nothing is connected. Reading the reviews, I see I am not alone with this issue. 3) The monitor interface is pretty bad. Flickers constantly and it never seems to remember any devices. Have a laptop you disconnect sometimes? Get ready to tell the monitor about it every time! Truly a low quality device marketed as something premium.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I picked this up to replace a side monitor and wanted a higher spec screen than what I had. I run a 34 uw for main display but I must admit the color accuracy on the Samsung makes me want to grab a 34 uw from them as well. The refresh rate is great for watching movies and stuff during long gaming sessions on games that don't require full attention all the time. Also great for watching a fellow player stream their screen and see what is going on.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had the monitor for a month now and can't fault it's build, features and performance when considering the price. Certainly good value. Screen is crisp and huge. I replaced 2x27" monitors and find the screen area better and more versatile from a usage perspective - often using 3 vertical window setup. My son, who plays games, loves it too, (it has a good high refresh rate ) which probably means another one for his PC soon.

Me gusta bastante.

The monitor is fine, as most monitors are, but that blinding blinking blue light is the most obnoxious thing I've ever seen. Yes I've found the power light setting in the menu, but it still blinks nonstop if the monitor is on and the computer goes to sleep or just blanks the display, as most do instead of a screensaver because it's 2025. I'd honestly return it over this if it hadn't just come free with my G95C Super Ultrawide

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this monitor for both work and play, when I tell you there's no other monitor on the market like this. Whether using it for gaming or for hours of data entry or zipping across the internet this monitor really packs a visual punch. Clean crisp graphics with no laggy features this bad boy does it all and with its bespoke design as per usual with Samsung products it would be hard to point out any lack in performance.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I primarily use the monitor when gaming and doing video editing mixed with the occasional study. It seems to want to over expose in lighting programs but gaming its adjust. The curve is quite a innovation for sure, I'd like to see them semi curved because I think that affects the view of other apps personally. No matter its helped me learn to appreciate my games in a new more immersed and centered way.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The monitor is great for gaming and watching movies. I use the monitor to play games with my brother who is far away from me. I also use the monitor to watch movies with my girlfriend. The monitor has great picture quality. The colors are bright and the picture is so clear. Literally it feels like you are inside the game or movie. I really enjoy the monitor and I would highly recommend it to anybody.

I got this monitor to play at 4K 120hz on my Xbox Series S... and it acts like it's designed NOT TO PLAY GAMES because every few minutes in my gaming sessions, the stupid screen starts flickering in a seizure-inducing manner before displaying a stupid, 999∞% totally bogus "rEsOlUtIoN nOt SuPpOrTeD" error message because of the far-worse-than-sub-optimal firmware in this piece of Korean corporate oligarchy junk. None of the software updates I've installed bothered to fix, let alone remotely address these built-in aneurism-inducing killjoy malfunctions, and in fact, the latest patch as of the writing of this justified tirade of a review, the flickering GOT MORE FREQUENT! So Samsung, either A: fix the darn bug and make it so the monitor can fulfill its intended use or if you're too lazy to fix your crap firmware, B: refund my money so I can reinvest it in a superior monitor from another brand.

Great monitor for the price range that keeps up with my gaming PC and game consoles. Smart features work great whether you want to add some music in the background or just relax and stream from a streaming platform or just some background noise with Samsung TV Plus.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Odyssey G7 Monitor has been one of the best monitors, mainly for gaming, that I have ever gotten! It really does have high resolution, better than any other monitor I've gotten, and the one thing I like the most about it is it especially runs very smooth and durable for not just my main but also my side games. I highly recommend that this is the PC for my gamers out there.

Like how it’s easy to access the ports if you want to change something out. The RBG in the back and front is a plus when you want to show it off! Then I also liked it wasn’t too heavy for my desktop arm to hold and adjust it. No complaints here! Keep it up!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
