Galaxy Ring

Ring has been replaced twice due to sudden battery failures. You can tell because the battery life drops from about 7 days down to one to two days overnight. Extremely disappointed about the longevity of this ring for the cost. I luckily I bought the extended warranty and the second time it was replaced it was one year and one month after purchase and just outside of the warranty from Samsung. Extended warranty covered it but you had to pay a fee to get it replaced. Very expensive toy but no longevity at this point. Will not be looking at another in the near future. Aside from that when it works it does what it's supposed to do quite well.

I love this ring...Bur I keep taking it off to wash my hands, then I keep leaving it behind only to find it later in the evening... I have misplaced this ring twice. I love it other than that.

So far, so good, but it'd be better with more activity tracking like swimming and sleep apnea detection.

Yes, I took off three stars for it not collected my skin temp for my period prediction data. I used to wear a watch so I made sure I told the app to look at my ring data instead. When that didn't work, I ensured the watch was completely off. Then, I completely disconnected from my account. Still no skin temperature data in the period prediction. It is taking my skin temp overnight for sleep, as you can see by the pictures I've added. The period predictions and such were the main reason I wear this tech. I'll return the stars when they fix that. Otherwise good piece of tech that's comfortable to wear. I did buy the sizing kit prior.

So after 2 LOOONGG months of waiting for this ring because of an error on Samsungs part....I finally got it. Long story short, I like the ring....but it definitely doesn't look or feel premium. It looks and feels like plastic. I have the silver color. Initially I wanted the black but the size(13) wasn't available for purchase at the time. I really didn't know what to expect but I didn't think it would look and feel like this. It's not a deal breaker for me but just an opinion. It is very lite weight and almost don't realize I have it on. I've had it for 4 days now and it's at 78%.....from 100%. So far I like it and time will tell if it was worth it or not.

I love this ring as it does exactly what was promised. I do not have to charge it for 7-8 days. Charging only rakes a couple of hrs to do I love how it tracks my sleep in the app so now i can tell how well I am sleeping. I wear it everywhere swimming and, in the shower, or doing dishes. Samsung was great when I wanted to return my black for gold without an issues. My only complaint is I wish there were a few more larger sizes like 14 and 15 as I wanted to wear this on my index finger but had to settle for ring finger.

The long-story-short is, do not buy this ring, because it has one fatal flaw that renders it useless: battery life. I've had it for a little more than a year now, and for the first, say, 9 months, I loved this thing. It was comfortable, accurate, useful, durable. The app was excellent. But after a year... the battery capacity kept going down, down, down. Then it fell off a cliff. Now, after about 15 months, the ring doesn't hold a charge for more than a few hours. If I charge it before bed it's dead before I wake up. If you're willing to get a new ring each year, by all means order this. Otherwise, don't waste your money.

I was very pleased with my ring during the first several months of use. It performed well, and the battery life was excellent, lasting up to four days on a single charge. However, after about four months, the gold finish began to fade significantly.Now, at approximately 11 months of ownership, the battery life has declined dramatically. I currently need to charge the ring every 12 hours and often have to carry the charger with me throughout the day. This is a major disappointment considering how well it performed initially.While I appreciated the ring in the beginning, the decline in both appearance and battery performance within the first year has been frustrating

I've had my ring for ten days. Four days after purchase it scratched and silver shows through on the black. Had I known that would happen, I would've minimally ordered the silver ring since I think the ring looks cheap now. I paid too much for this to happen. The ring is also quite uncomfortable. I'm glad I can at least switch the finger I wear it on to allieve that some what. I am deeply hopeful that the app will improve as well- the app crashes frequently when I try to look at stats, despite that I am accessing it on a Galaxy S24. I've been a Samsung fan for years, but this is not my favorite samsung product.

This is definitely one of those.That's a big package on a small item. The ring packs a lot of features that I like.I personally I got it to help me track my steps And sleep since before I would always rely on my watch.And my phone and sometimes my sleep would not get counted.Since the phone would die at the middle of the night or the watch. The case being a charger as well is a huge plus since sometimes I just charge the case on weekend trips and don't have to worry about carrying an extra cable.The ring has a very good battery life as well and can go up to a week without needing charge. The only downside the ring has is that mine has is that the color has started to fade from the bottom where it normally Hits my desk or from grabbing things. Thequality is super durable and the design is very comfortable to wear.

I’ve been using the Samsung Galaxy Ring and so far, I’m really impressed. The battery life is a big win, it lasts about 4–5 days on a single charge, even with me wearing it nonstop. I keep it on while washing dishes and showering, and it holds up well without any issues. The insights it provides are great, very similar to what I get from my smartwatch, but honestly, better in some ways since my watch usually dies in under 48 hours. Having something smaller and longer-lasting is super convenient. My only real complaint is the style. I chose the black version because it matches everything, but I do wish there were more color or design options beyond just silver and gold. It would be nice if we could customize or change the color to fit different looks. Overall, it’s a great device, functional, comfortable, and reliable. Just hoping for more style options in the future

This ring is interesting, I like the fact that samsung gives you a free sizing kit to test out the fit of the ring. I love that you can get the benefits of your sleep score and your energy score just from wearing the ring to bed. I do wish the color or sheen was more of a metallic look then a matte finish. Much nicer than wearing my galaxy watch while I sleep I have to say it's a purchase I don't regret.

I honestly love it even more than I thought I would. It has most of the same tracking features as my watch but is SOO much easier to wear. With the amazing battery life, I essentially have health tracking metrics 24 hours a day. This ring is so comfortable that I wear it all day and even to bed to gain valuable insights to my sleeping patterns.

Works very well. I like it becuase I no longer have to wear my watch 5 pro to sleep any longer since this ring records and tracks all the same vitals as my watch. Works together with the watch so there is no double recording of steps and/or other vitals when I am wearing both during the day.

Everything is excellent from tracking to Sleep quality but can improve on physical activity and workouts. It's not automatically tracking the workouts. I bought it only for activity tracking but a little disappointed on that aspect. I wish they update that in next versions.

I wear a size 7 1/2 on my ring finger so I bought a size 9 and it fits my ring finger. Hope that helps other people. The ring works just fine. I mainly use it for sleep and I get better sleep now. Love it. 5 star all the way.

Love using the ring although I have a smart watch I like to use a regular watch occasionally but the ring keeps my data going. Very comfortable and never feels exhausting to wear. Definitely try out size before since it runs different than standard rings. You may need to do a wet fit test if you have thicker knuckles and skinny fingers like me. 7 was right to go over my knuckle but fits just right on my finger. So I just use a little water to go on and off, no big deal and I feel like it's secure on my finger rather than going too big and worrying about it falling off.

It's a comfortable thing to use. good size and the color you ordered.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use the Galaxy Ring with my Galaxy Watch Ultra (2024) and Galaxy S23 Ultra so it uses very little power and acts as more of a backup when my Watch is dead or isn't providing data for whatever reason, and the ring has been helpful when used this way. The charge lasts a long time, the ring and case both charge quickly, and I prefer the portability of the Galaxy Ring + charging case setup over my old Oura Horizon Gen 3. The paint is starting to scuff off on the edges a little bit, but I expected that to happen as wear-and-tear from normal usage. Would recommend this as an addition for others already in the Samsung product ecosystem.

The Samsung ring was the perfect solution. I now wear my Samsung ring as my wedding band and only have to charge it once every 7 or 8 days. I can now get the feedback I've been missing by not wearing my watch to bed. I track my energy levels and HRV while sleeping all while being comfortable. I love my ring, it's far more comfortable to wear while sleeping to track. And just love wearing it more then my watch. It's nice to have the option to wear something less noticeable and still be able to track thing. The only thing I dislike about the ring is how quickly it's wearing i purchased black and after 1 week I can see scratches of silver coming through on the bottom side (palm side) I do remove my ring and use my watch for tracking when doing fitness activities so this is just from other everyday activities. It would be interesting to see what more samsung can do with the ring as time goes. Being able to snooze my alarm or take a photo by pinching my fingers is neat but I thought being able to pinch my fingers to forward a call would be cool too.

I love this ring. It does so much. It captures information while I sleep to then create an energy score for the day. Galaxy AI combines sleep information, heart rate, exercise, body temperature and other measurements to determine my energy score each morning. When I am not wearing my Watch 7, the Ring tracks steps and exercise also. This Ring is amazing and a great complement to my Watch. I absolutely love it. The battery lasts for days before a charge is needed. It charges quickly in the case. Buy the Ring, you wont regret it!

I also wish it would count my running steps when i am on the treadmill. It only calculates when I am walking on the treadmill. Other than that, I love the case, the battery life is good, it tracks my sleep, heart rate, and etc. I have a lot health issues so I see a lot of doctors. This makes doctor visits easy when I have the answers for their questions due to the ring. I really like it. I hope the next "upgrade" comes in rose gold options, lol!

Wish it had a shiny silver finish. Water proof so good for swimming. Cool features you can stop your alarm & take pictures with 2 fingers. The alarm could be dangerous if you tend to roll over & say 5 more minutes. 😂 Wish it did a little more especially for the price. Like maybe scrolling without touching the phone. If you're cooking, washing dishes, showering, just flick of your fingers and it could scroll or answer the calls, that would be nice. All in all not a bad device still messing with it to see what else I can use it for.

I use it for sleep tracking at night. I can't wear the watch sadly at night as the battery is not good for anything longer than a day. Plus, it is not comfortable to wear for me at night. The ring allows me to still track my sleep and take care of myself without the bulkiness. Its slick and subtle. I like being able to have it still track important health data that I need when I can't wear the watch. I also love that its Water resistant!!! It really has become part of my jewelry set.

G, I've been keeping up with the sleep track and the information using that data day-by-day to like. Make sure that I'm not doing too much and to just stay healthy and positive. I loved this ring at first. Battery life was extraordinary, super comfortable, doesn't wear over time in color or shine, and far easier to wear to sleep than a watch. And, obviously, the insights are great especially when paired with the watch. Sadly, it's only been 8 months and the battery life is abysmal. It used to only need recharging once every 4-5+ days, but now I'm lucky if I can get 7 hours out of it. Lots of feedback online (check reddit, etc.) about this issue with little to no support for replacement or fixing by Samsung. I've been a lifetime Samsung person and am bought into the entire ecosystem but this is a miss. Save your coins and find another ring instead.

I also have a Samsung watch so everything works seamlessly together and I can alternate between the watch and ring as needed. I had the Oura so was able to comoate the two. I like that there's no subscription and you don't have to pay a premium based on finish. The information isn't as complete or insightful as the Oura but I'm hoping this will happen in future releases. The Samsung is significantly more comfortable to wear and more attractive. The charging case is even a looker (although my partner wishes it came in black). Overall, this is a strong start for Samsung and can only expect that things will get better.

This phone has with me for a few years now.It works great no need for a new one.I'm a older person and it has helped me navigate through lots of things. The size is great.Not to heavy big enough so I can actually see most thing with out having to zoom in.The only thing I don't really care for is that I have to turn off blue tooth to listen to directions sound while driving. Don't know what Galaxy AI is but could be a new phone. I'm not phone savvy. I can mess things up pretty fast but it always works. Thank you hope this is what you wanted.

Now I own both Galaxy Watch 7 and the Galaxy Ring and I live them! The ring is great! It fits perfectly and looks very cool with that silver color. But the best thing about it, it's how convenient it is. I can use it all the time without even noticing I'm wearing it and I can go more than 7 days without charging it at all. I used to sleep with my galaxy watch, but now I cam just wear the ring and sleep without having to wear the watch. I can also take it to some activities where I would normally don't take my watch due to comfort. I also love that I can take pictures with it which is very convenient.

I've used FitBits and other Smart watches and expected this tech to upstage them. - In a way it does raise the bar due to its size, battery, and capabilities with the Samsung Health App. **It monitors and collects data**... It you're looking for anything else, its not for you. - New features like "pinch" for photos and turning off the alarm has been added, and I can see more happening as the tech gets better. - I love the minimalist design. I don't need anything else and it rarely gets in the way. It gets wet, it still works (I don't submerge it in soap or a bath/shower). Watches are great, but for those who don't use them, the Ring is honestly the best alternative and I get reminders, pings, and I'm not cumbered by other tech.

I like this ring alot. Purchased March 21 2025, it now has an issue with the battery. As I am reading these reviews I have seen several people with the same issue. Now they want 129.9 to fix it. Think ill be leaving samsung now and trying to find a new manufacturer. Pretty sad about this seeing as my phone, tablet, watch, and all 3 tvs are all samsung. I am very disappointed with this battery issue and cost.

I bought the ring a little over a year ago. It worked perfectly for approximately nine months, and then the battery started lasting no longer than 24 hours. Luckily, it was still under warranty; I sent the product in, they fixed the defect, and now—four months later—the battery doesn't last more than 12 hours. I am no longer under warranty, and they are charging me a fee to repair it. I decided not to pay the fee; instead, I will take the money I would have spent to keep the ring working for a few more months and invest it in an Oura Ring. It is more expensive, but it seems to be of higher quality.

The silver one looks super cheap like you got it out of a Crack jack box. Not only does it looks cheap the health stats are way off compared to 2 other health trackers the fitbit charge 6 and garmin s70 watch. Heart rate is incredibly lower, sleep time is off, and steps are almost half of the ring is reporting. Other rings on the market look alot better then this thing can't speak to performance.

Definitely was worth the swith for me. Ib switched from the watch 4 to the ring. The watch might be for others but for me coming from the watch 4 2 to 3 days use them charge to the watch 8 one to one and a half day use them charge i tried the ring. Fixed me exactly what i need hesrt rate sensor and sleep tracker and I'm fine with the every 5-6 day charge. Case always handy, 2 and a half charges from that so i always have my necessary sensors and only have to charge my phone daily. Was kind of tired of carrying the charging cable for that around. But the ring is lighter doesn't feel like i have anything in. And it doesn't get in the way with light while I'm sleeping. Better choice for me.

I like that If I forget to charge before bed I can alternate devices and still capture some information. However, it would be nice if the battery hadn't dwindled down so quickly. It was great in the beginning I was getting 7 days use (preordered, wear it everyday), now I sometimes only get 2 days of wear before I have to charge. It is very inconsistent, some rare days I can get 4, I wear my watch everyday as well. It is also a bit large for my hand size, it would be nice if it could come in a thinner band size at some point. Overall I am happy with it, I just hope future models can overcome the battery issue.

So far it is fantastic! As well i want to thank you for I think of all the rings out there Samsung's is the only one that goes as high as a 15, which fits my fingers perfect! It's Super light weight, which I like! You set it up, put it on, and forget it! Got it as a partner with my Series 7 watch! Also the deal at the time worked for me!

I liked the ring and its tracking, However, I'm on my second and the battery is failing again and won't hold a charge for a full day anymore, just after the year mark on warranty. Both rings did the same thing, battery failure just past the one year mark. I won't be paying to repair or using the product again.

Between the battery life, monitoring, etc, this thing is absolutely amazing and will recommend it to anyone I come across. Soon will get one for my wife and will get a pair for my parents on Christmas. I've held off on getting the Oura and everyone else hoping Samsung was making one, and man you guys delivered. 10/10.

Convenient with good battery life. Easy to switch between watch and ring. The battery life is good lasts longer than the watch so getting accurate reads is easier. Waterproof makes it easier still. It's comfortable to wear and blends in with other jewelry. No complaints other than wishing there were more color options.

I pre-order since it went live. Just arrived have been wearing the sizing kit, size 11. Very light and confortable. Very happy with it. I used to wear the WHOOP 4.0, still was uncomfortable to sleep with at night. NOT any more! Overall very satisfied specially witn no Subscription is a huge plus!

Now that I have my ring I forget that it's on and I'm able to get my sleep patterns down, my heart rate, and my energy levels. Looking forward to the next level of this ring to where they add more improvements. I'm hoping for NFC touchless payments, better find my ring technology, more durability. I would also like it to make a sound and LEDs on the exterior of the Ring so if I'm talking to somebody I can see their name with LED lights or if I have a message I can see a message indicator on the ring or phone call and have a phone call indicator of the Ring you know things like that. All in all I'm very happy with this ring.

Stylish, comfortable and completely useless! I was so keen to have one, I pre-ordered it before it was released. Got it, loved it for 3 weeks (the battery lasted 5-6 days, at first). Then, 3 days, then 2 days, then only 12 hours, and now about 4 hours. I've sent it in for repair by Samsung TWICE, so far. I would have sent it back a 3rd time but got busy with hurricanes and their aftermath. I'd love to know how well or poorly I'm sleeping, but if I put a fully charged ring on at 10pm, it says I only slept 3 hours - the battery dies about 1am. Samsung has been less than helpful.

To be honest.. i even forgot i had it on numeous times. The amountnof information it tracks is unbelievable. In addition to helping me with sleeping patterns and steps it also assists with making a geeat day better for me. [When u get one you see why]
