I chose to continue my Galaxy Zfold journey with the upgraded Zfold 8 Ultra! OMG this thing is Blazing fast, has insane photo quality, the AI features are great. I mean just the photo AI alone is leagues ahead of other phones. Also, the size and weight are perfect, major weight drop from the fold 5 (my last phone). Display quality amazing! I am sure there are many more features I haven't discovered yet I've only had it 2 days, but I am already impressed. The data transfer alone was so easy and fast. I can keep going but I haven't had enough time to try everything yet. Very happy Samsung fan here.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Coming from the Flip7, which i absolutely loved, I chose to go with the Fold8 Ultra due to the upgraded screen sizing and feature rich experience. The older models lacked the nativity of screen scaling across applications, but with the Fold8 Ultra, it has been long enough that most applications seamlessly transition from the standard exterior screen size to the jumbo inner screen. This phone does not disappoint. The processor keeps up with any demand you throw at the phone, and the displays are crystal clear with absolutely no noticeable crease now on the inner screen. Samsung has definitely got it right this time.

Not to mention how awesome the upgraded battery life is. The crease is significantly less visible and one UI 9 is amazing. The Galaxy AI feature is really help me with my day-to-day life especially with phone call briefings, I also never have to worry about my battery life because it's significantly longer than my fold seven. The day I got it I did not plug it in, transferred all of my files from my old phone. And then went an extra day without charging it because the battery life is so long.

I read the early prediction of a larger battery and decided that I would seriously consider the Z fold 8. As the year unfolded, I read many rumors about the 8 and, lately, the 8 ultra. I can truthfully say that I was more excited with each rumor. When I saw the drastic battery life upgrade, the next generation processor, the camera breakthrough and the AI improvement I knew I had to have the Galaxy Z fold 8 ultra. My 8 ultra with a protective case is thinner than my bare fold 5. I have now had it for two days and I am very happy with my purchase. Thank you Samsung!

The size compared to my 6 is hugely noticeable and the crease is almost gone. I've enjoyed how the almost snaps open and closed giving it a firm and sturdy feeling. Gaming and streaming on it has been great. Make sure you get a case that supports a kickstand in your favorite consuming mode (landscape or portrait). It is soooo thin (besides the camera bump). Nothing has been able to pull me away from the fold line. Excited to see the tri-fold next year!!

The display is stunning and captures content perfectly. I love the camera and ability to adjust so much being a photographer as well. This phone let's me multitask with ease and has the wide display that takes it to the next level without feeling cramped. With the OLED display and screen size it let's me edit perfectly like I invisioned it would. I can pick up small color changes with the brightness that I wouldn't even catch on my laptop! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Back when the Fold 3 came out, I chose to "sign on" to the Samsung upgrade wagon and but my phones directly from them. I do not regret it. The Fold phones are excellent. They are not the slimmest or most feature-packed available (you can get more from other eastern competitors), but they are well-thought-out, software is good to excellent, and durability has gone from acceptable to excellent as it has improved year over year. I did Fold 3>4>5>6>skip>8. I bet from now on, I'll be able to go two or three years without upgrading, and I will be perfectly happy. These phones really have no peer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I had an s24 ultra and I really liked it. It's been a solid phone. My wife got a z-fold seven last year and I was instantly jealous. I ordered this one and got it two days before I thought I was going to get it. I can't say anything bad about this phone. It's razor thin. The battery life is phenomenal, lasting longer than my s24 ultra typically does. The build quality is great the crease is barely noticeable the inside and outside screens are beautiful. Transferring the data from my one terabyte s24 to my 1 TB 8 took some time but I had almost a full phone. No major issues so far all of my apps are working and would highly recommend especially if you're not coming from a foldable already.

Speaker volume is low as with all Samsung phones. If you have small hands this is NOT the phone for you, when open it is slick and slips easily. Now this review is written by a user that has had a Z6 phone and yes its a "brick" but you pictures are larger that the Z8 and I am an artist that uses the Z6 to show off my work, and the Z8 has a much smaller screen. I'm guessing the up and coming Z Tri Fold will suit my needs better. All in all it's a great phone as is all Samsung phones.

But when I got it and unpacked it from the box and compared it in size to the galaxy 7 I was a little disappointed that it was the exact same size when unfolded. In fact it even fit into my galaxy 7 phone case. I am sure all the different uses for it makes it a great buy but it is basically the galaxy 7 in size.So if you're a heavy User with all the different software that is on it , then it is an extremely good buy. But if you're only going to use it for messaging and Internet browsing as well as using the phone and stick with what you have especially if it's a galaxy 7 fold because it's just as good.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Compared to my Fold5, the Fold8 Ultra is blazing fast and buttery smooth. Even in the light performance mode! The thinness is astonishing too. That thinness comes with a few compromises: the phone can run hot, it wobbles like crazy on flat surfaces, and it no longer supports the S Pen. It's also wider, so you can't text with one hand easily. I think it's worth those compromises for the better performance, inner screen size, and battery life.

Opening it up to the large inner screen makes streaming videos, multitasking, and browsing effortless. I love screen feels more smooth to touch and more brighter to look at. The upgrade from fold 7 is minimal. Better battery life . Smoothness. The crease cant even see now. My only wishes on next fold will be included spen support or better with include spen on the phone. It a big negative for me without it. It make the fold so much more unquie phone. The 8 has been much improved from the previous Folds. I love the lighter weight and slim design. I have enjoyed using it for reading, gaming and work purposes. The additional power and performance and ease of access make multitasking simple. On a side note, I've also had the opportunity to see the Samsung Fold 8 (Wide) and I'll be purchasing that too. I love the pocket book feel of that one as well. I wish it had a stylus for that one specificly to get it like a note tablet feel but I digress. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There's been all this hype about the new Galaxy Z Fold lately, but I chose to go with the Z Fold Ultra, and I'm extremely happy with my purchase. I primarily use my phone as a productivity device for multitasking between apps such as Zoom, Outlook, Teams, browser, etc. Not only is the foldable form factor excellent for multi-tasking, but also the taller aspect ratio ensures that the keyboard is not hiding most of the display. As someone upgrading from Z Fold 6, there are also significant upgrades in terms of overall screen size, battery life, thinness, weight, crease, and that anti-reflective display. Fold 8 seems like a better choice if your primary use case is media consumption, but for productivity, I would highly recommend Fold 8 Ultra.

The size, specs, user experience, flexibility to multitask with the inner screen, and overall design are top notch. The anti glare inner screen and upgraded cameras are the new features I am excited for the most, but the brighter screen also surprised me. I've been on the Z Fold train since the Z Fold 6 and then I ended up with the Z Fold 7, and now I have the Z Fold 8 ultra which I'm stoked about. But I'm extremely extremely disappointed that the Z Fold 7 and the Z Fold 8 ultra do not have S.Pen compatibility, that's my biggest complaint that I have and really my only complaint that I have. I'm insanely disappointed that the Z Fold 8 does not have the S.Pen support, and I'm praying that you guys will bring it back and I want an internal spot to store the s.Pen and the Z fold will be complete in my opinion.

In the end it came down to the Cameras as I have always had an Ultra since the Note 20. After 2 days with the device, I am loving the responsiveness and speed and ease that things can be accomplished. I didn't realize how much my Galaxy S 23 Ultra lagged until I started using the Z Fold 8 Ultra. Having the larger inside screen was beneficial for me to use for music lyric apps and replaces the tablet I carry. There is still a crease after it is folded several times, but I find that negligible in everything that I have used it for so far. All in all, so far at least, this may be my first foldable, but it probably won't be my last.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Upgraded from fold 7 to the fold 8 ultra mainly for bigger battery and faster charging.. both made a the upgrade worth it.. as a bonus all my 7 accessories fit since it's the same size.. the fold 8 ultra also hasn't gotten as hot during high usage.. the brighter display only really shows off with the inner display as the outer screen has only gotten to its peak brightness in adaptive mode.. doesn't get full bright manually but adaptive saves battery.. worth the upgrade for me with just the battery upgrade and faster charging

The phone is so thin! When using the outer screen you wouldn't even know it's a folding pho e. The size of the outside screen is perfect. It's the same size and aspect ratio as other normal phones. This solves all of the formatting issues I had with older models. When the phone is open its truly like having two phones side by side. Multitasking is the best its ever been when using two full apps at once.

I switched from the fold 7 and after one day, I can already see some improvements. The battery life has gotten better and the crease has gone down a lot. Power efficiency has improved as well. It feels lighter and the transfer was seamless. The fold 8 Ultra has definitely made changes. Lastly, with the inner display, I do not see a lot of reflection from lighting and that was always a problem for me on the previous folds. Now the inner screen is still visible when light hits it. This phone really made improvements and I can't wait to see what samsung will do next. I am glade I chose the Z fold 8 Ultra, no regrets!

My last phone was the S24 Ultra that came with a stylus and you were able to do a split screen (top&bottom). In addition to using the multiple screens I was interested in being able to watch my English Football (soccer) and the idea of having a large tablet like screen was too much to ignore! What I do miss on this phone is the S- pen but I purchased a case that came with a stylus on the back cover and so far I'm happy with that.

I use my de ice heavily for work including drafting documents, reviewing documents and engineering drawings, and taking pictures during inspections, and for personal use to play media. The Z Fold 8 Ultra has been performing wonderfully and in occasions you can really feel the updgrade. I enjoy it and although I was hesitant, I do not regret the decision, but I would love if they bring back the stylus

I chose the Fold 8 Ultra mainly due to timing because I still had my old phone to pay off. It's better than I expected. Great battery life, barely visible fold seam, and it's just a tad smaller than my S24 Ultra, which works out perfectly for me!

The fold has been one of my daily drivers for years. I remember purchasing the original fold when it first came out. It has gotten better with every generation. The camera is fantastic, the build quality has gotten better and better. I chose to upgrade to the Z Fold 8 Ultra for the upgraded battery and the utility of a larger screen both outside and inside. Multitasking is easy with this device!

Upgraded from s25U, fold 8 is an innovative device with the new wide screen. Compact and light, camera is good, and the phone is fast. I love the inner display and the anti reflective screen. Amazing phone to use and worth the upgrade. Aspects that can be improved on are, 1) hinge is still fairly visible 2) table wobble is pretty bad 3) front display should be anti reflective as well. 4) fairly expensive.

Well....they finally got it right and its a good combo device...phone + tablet. I currently have a S25 Ultra, and the new Z-Fold 8 is essentially a S25 Ultra that magically converts to a small tablet. The major difference is the fold is slightly narrower, but everything that matters is the same or better. If your on the fence, buy it. You won't regret it.

I’m still discovering new features every day, but so far I’m extremely happy with my choice. Samsung did a great job making a foldable phone that is actually useful for everyday life, work and entertainment.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose using the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra and honestly, I'm really impressed with it. The big foldable screen is the best part for me. It's great for watching videos, multitasking, browsing, and even getting some work done. The phone feels premium, runs smoothly, and Samsung has done a great job with the overall design. My only disappointment is the camera. Don't get me wrong, the camera is good, but for a phone at this price and with everything else it offers, I expected it to be even better. Samsung could definitely improve the camera quality, especially in certain lighting conditions. Other than that, I'm very happy with the phone. It's definitely a unique experience compared with a regular smartphone, and once you get used to the Fold, it's hard to go back to a normal phone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the Z Fold 8 Ultra because I wanted the largest screen with the biggest battery and best cameras. I can't believe how thin and light it is compared to my Fold 6. The crease is less noticeable and the battery life is better. I do miss the UDC and spen, but the positives outweigh those 2 misses. I appreciate the ease of transferring everything to the new phone with Smart Switch, even seamlessly moved my Watch Ultra over. If you're using a Fold 6 or older, or a non Z Fold device and your contemplating moving to a Fold 8 it's a no brainer- just do it. Nothing like having the big beautiful screen.
