SAMSUNG GALAXY NOTE10 LITE AND S10 LITE PRE-ORDER CAMPAIGN ("Campaign") [Online]

 

1. Introduction

a) The Samsung Galaxy Note10 Lite and S10 Lite Pre-Order Campaign ("Campaign") is organized by Samsung Malaysia Electronics (SME) Sdn. Bhd. (629186D) ("Samsung"). The terms and conditions and the Privacy Policy posted on this site will be construed as the terms and conditions ("Terms and Conditions") of this Campaign on which Samsung offers you ("Customer") access to and use of this site for the purposes of this Campaign.

b) The sale transaction in this Campaign is between the participating Online Dealer(s) (as stated below) and Customer. Samsung only provides the recommended retail price ("RRP") and guidance on this site.

c) Customer agrees to comply with all the above when accessing or using this site. The scope of this Terms and Conditions is limited to Samsung's role of hosting this site and organizing this Campaign only.

d) By participating in the Campaign and with every pre-order of Samsung Galaxy Note10 Lite or S10 Lite at participating Dealer(s), Customer will be entitled to free gift worth RM369 which consists of one (1) Samsung Galaxy Fit. (“Promotion”)

e) The combined quantity of Promotion for this Campaign for both physical stores and online stores are 8000 units and is on “first-come, first-served” basis and also subject to stock availability. For in store campaign terms and conditions, it can be found at Samsung official website.  

 

2. Campaign Mechanics

a) The following are five (5) steps for the Campaign (Online):-

Step 1: Visit Product Page

Visit any participating Online Dealer’s Pre-order page

Step 2: Make it Yours

Customer add selected product to online shopping cart and check out.
This Pre-Order campaign is exclusively for the pre-order of Galaxy Note10 Lite or S10 Lite only.

Step 3: Payment

Customer will need to pay full payment of RRP for Samsung Galaxy Note10 Lite or S10 Lite

Note: Payment is non-refundable and non-transferrable.

Step 4: Confirmation

Upon successful payment, Customer's account will be updated with the order information and tracking number.

Step 5: Delivery

Participating Online Dealer will deliver pre-ordered Samsung Galaxy Note10 Lite or S10 Lite and Free Gift within the Pre-order Collection Period which commences from 10:00am, 7 February (Friday) to 10:00pm, 23 February (Sunday).

The above is also subject to the terms and conditions set by the participating Online Dealers.

3. Duration

a) This Campaign will begin from 10:00am, 3 February 2020 (Monday) to 10:00pm, 5 February 2020 (Wednesday) (“Campaign Period”). Samsung reserves the right to shorten, extend or cancel the Campaign Period without prior notice.    

 

4. Eligibility

a) The Promotion is open to all Malaysian citizens of 18 years old and above (as at 3 February 2020) with Malaysia Identity Card; except Samsung's employees (and their immediate families), its related agencies, retailers and dealers.

b) One Customer is only entitled to pre-order one (1) unit of Samsung Galaxy Note10 Lite or S10 Lite.  

 

5. Payment

a) Customer acknowledges, understands and agrees that all transactions are between Customer and the participating online dealers only. Samsung only acts as the coordinating party and is not involved or a party of any monetary/sale and purchase of this Pre-Order transaction.

b) Customer is not allowed to cancel the Pre-Order, change the selected device color or model once Customer has successfully completed and made full payment for the transaction.

c) Payment, once made, is strictly not refundable and/or transferrable. 

 

6. Delivery

a) The delivery of free gift is to be fulfilled on the part of the participating Online Dealers and is subject to the terms and conditions of the participating Online Dealers. 

 

7. Limitation of Liability

a) To the extent permitted by applicable law, Samsung excludes all express or implied warranties, terms and conditions including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

b) Customer shall assume full responsibility in case of any accident, damage or claim resulting from participating in this Campaign.

c) Customer shall be deemed to be able to perform legally binding contract upon his/her submission of the pre-order and there shall not be any refund or costs whatsoever arising from his/her violation of the minimum age stated herein.

d) Warranty of the pre-ordered Samsung Galaxy Note10 Lite or S10 Lite is subject to standard product warranty coverage as per terms and conditions stated in the official corporate website at http://www.samsung.com/my/support/warranty. Customer is advised to check the website from time to time and stay informed for any changes on the terms and conditions of the warranty.

e) All transportation, personal costs and/or any other costs, fees and/or related expenses arising out of the collection of the phone are the Customer's sole responsibility.

 

8. Indemnity

a) Customer will fully indemnify and hold Samsung (and our affiliates and subsidiaries, and our and their respective officers, directors, employees, agents) harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable legal fees, made by himself/herself or any third party due to or arising out of his/her breach of these Terms and Conditions, improper use of the site or breach of any law or the rights of a third party.   

 

9. Privacy

a) By providing Customer's personal data, Customer is indicating that he/she has read, understood and agreed that his/her personal data will be recorded, stored or otherwise processed in accordance to Samsung's Privacy Policy available at
http://www.samsung.com/my/info/privacy.html.

 

10. General

a) In the event Customer have queries with regard to the Campaign, please call Samsung helpline at  1-800-22-8899 for clarification.

b) Samsung reserves the right to make amendments to the Terms and Conditions of the Campaign herein without prior notice. Customers shall also agree to the terms and conditions set out by the participating Online Dealers.

c) Samsung reserves the right to disqualify any submissions for Pre-Order in the event of violation of any of the Terms and Conditions.

d) In the event of any discrepancies between the information that Customer has submitted with regards to the Pre-Order and the information provided during collection of the Samsung Galaxy Note10 Lite or S10 Lite at the selected participating online dealer for any reasons whatsoever, Samsung shall not be responsible for any loss or costs arising from such discrepancies howsoever caused.

e) In case of any dispute, Samsung reserves the right to make the final decision and shall have the right to cancel, disqualify the order or forfeit the deposit necessarily.

f) In the event of an electronic, computer, operational and/or technical error affecting the details or pricing or quantity of the product or any promotion on the website, Samsung reserves the absolute rights to rectify such error and/or cancel any transaction which has been entered into in reliance of the said error.

g) By participating in this Pre-Order Campaign, Customer fully and unconditionally agrees to and accepts Samsung's Privacy Policy as stated above, and the Terms and Conditions.

h) By placing an order, Customer agrees to grant Samsung and their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, licensees, directors, officers, agents, independent contractors and advertising/promotion agencies the use of his/her full details submitted through Pre-Order Campaign, without further compensation, unless prohibited by law.

i) In the event of inconsistencies between the terms and conditions found elsewhere with regard to this Campaign (if any) and the Terms and Conditions herein, the latter shall prevail.

j) These Terms and Conditions herein shall be governed by the laws of Malaysia and the jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.

SAMSUNG GALAXY A71 AND A51 PRE-ORDER CAMPAIGN ("Campaign")


1. Introduction

a) The Samsung Galaxy A71 and A51 Pre-Order Campaign ("Campaign") is organized by Samsung Malaysia Electronics (SME) Sdn. Bhd. (629186D) ("Samsung"). The terms and conditions and the Privacy Policy posted on this site will be construed as the terms and conditions ("Terms and Conditions") of this Campaign on which Samsung offers you ("Customer") access to and use of this site for the purposes of this Campaign.

b) The sale transaction in this Campaign is between the participating Dealer(s) (as defined below) and Customer. Samsung only provides the recommended retail price ("RRP") and guidance on this site.

c) Customer agrees to comply with all the above when accessing or using this site. The scope of these Terms and Conditions is limited to Samsung's role of hosting this site and organizing this Campaign only.  

 

2. Promotion

a) By participating in the Campaign, Customer will be entitled to the following:-  

i) With every pre-order of Samsung Galaxy A71, customer will be entitled to free gift which consists of Protection plus (1 time Screen Protection + 1 year Extended Protection) worth RM185;

ii) With every pre-order of Samsung Galaxy A51, customer will be entitled to free gift which consists of Protection plus (1 time Screen Protection + 1 year Extended Protection) worth RM119. 

(collectively, the “Promotion”) 

b) The Promotion is limited to the first 22,000 Customer purchase at online stores/online platforms and physical stores (collectively, “Dealers”) during the Campaign Period nationwide.  Samsung reserves the right to modify the quantity at its sole discretion.  The quantity of Promotion in this Campaign is on “first-come, first-served” basis and also subject to stock availability. 

c) The redemption of Protection Plus must redeem through Samsung Redemption Portal at https://samsung-redemption.com/my-gwp/login. The free gift is on first come first serve basis and while stocks last.  All redemption must be submitted to Samsung Redemption Portal prior to 23 February
2020, failing which the redemption submission will be disqualified and considered as null and void.  Samsung shall not be liable if the Customer fails to submit the redemption.

d) The redemption is subject to verification from Samsung. The Customer will receive a Protection Plus official certificate from Samsung appointed insurance provider/ appointed insurance administrator via email. 

e) Protection Plus will take effect immediately from the date of purchase. For more information, please refer to the terms and conditions provided by the respective insurance provider/ appointed insurance administrator via email.  

 

3. Campaign Mechanics

This Pre-Order campaign is exclusively for the pre-order of Galaxy A71 or A51 only.

Step 3: Payment

Customer will need to pay full payment of RRP for Samsung Galaxy A71 or A51

Note: Payment is non-refundable and non-transferrable.

Step 4: Confirmation

Upon successful payment, Customer will receive email from Participating Dealers to update the order status.

Step 5: Delivery

Participating Dealer will deliver pre-ordered Samsung Galaxy A71 or A51 within the Pre-order Delivery Period which commences from 10:00am, 7 February (Friday) to 10:00pm, 23 February (Sunday).

7. Delivery

a) Participating Dealer will arrange delivery of the product to the Customer between 7 February 2020 to 23 February 2020 and is subject to the terms and conditions of the Participating Dealer. 

b) The Participating Dealer reserves the right to appoint a third party (3rd) party vendor or service provider to handle  the fulfilment or making available of the product and delivery of the product to the Customer.

c) The time for delivery of the product is between the Customer and Participating Dealer. Samsung shall not be liable for any delay in delivery of the product howsoever caused.

d) Samsung or Participating Dealer reserves the right to change the delivery date without prior notice.

e) To protect your interest and as record of delivery, Samsung or Participating Dealer or the appointed 3rd service provider will require the Customer or the Customer representative, as the case maybe to produce the Customer’s or Customer’s representative identity card or written authorization (if
applicable) as the service provider may require for verification upon delivery, failing which the delivery personnel have the right to refuse delivery and will return the product to Samsung or the Participating Dealer as “unclaimed”.    

 

8. Limitation of Liability

e) Samsung reserves the right to disqualify any submissions for Pre-Order or refuse any submission for Pre-Oder in our sole discretion, limit or cancel quantities purchased per person or per order. These restrictions may include orders placed by or under the same Customer’s account and/or orders that use the same billing or delivery address.  For avoidance of doubt, any cancellation of Pre-Order will not entitle the Customer to any compensation against Samsung for any losses or damages directly or indirectly that may be suffered or incurred by the Customer as a result of the cancellation.

f) In the event of an electronic, computer, operational and/or technical error affecting the details or pricing or quantity of the  product or any promotion on the website, Samsung reserves the absolute rights to rectify such error and/or cancel any transaction which has been entered into in reliance of the said error.
