[Galaxy S8/S8+] Can I use IR LED for Iris Scanner in remote control?

No,because there are different sensor requirements for IR LEDs for iris scanner and remote control.

IR LED in S8/S8+ can only be used in Iris scanning and S8/S8+ don't have IR LED for remote control.
