I love how easy it is to link with my phone and the interface is really smooth. However the picture quality is kind of that classic over glossy unrealistic samasung signature viewing experience. Too much motion blur and when you use all the feature it just looks like a home video and looses it's cinematic look. I wish this TV was a bit more like the approach that Sony takes were out of the box you get something that looks more tailored to how the content creator intended for you to see it. I can't be the only one that has said this and for years all the reviews have been the same for Samsungs tvs so I don't know why they have never changed that.

look no furhter than https://us.community.samsung.com/t5/monitors-and-memory/smart-monitor-m7-issues/m-p/1604871#m6349. i've been in search of a 4k monitor months and the m7 had features that no other manufacture offers. basically a smart tv that functions as a traditional computer monitor, the perfect complement for my desk setup. while i wouldn't recommend this product, i can't find a 4k monitor or tv with similar features; therefore, i'm willing to give it one more change. samsung has provided a refund but i'm seriously hoping the fact the m7 is out of stock means that samsung is addressing the quality issues impacting this product.

this device was great on day one. looks sharp connects to my laptop pretty seamlessly and so on. then i started to realize issues with the device over time: you cannot mount this device with anything other than the stand that is included. this has become a major issue as the stand takes up a significant amount of desk space. the sound quality is terrible, so for streaming apps and gaming, you basically will not be using this monitor. the advanced setting for sound and picture are not accessible. you will invariably discover this when everything is needing change from brightness, to resolution, to sound. i will have to buy a new monitor and sell this one.

I've had this monitor for quite sometime now and use it as my home office screen... and thank primarily to this screen... my home office is now also my den as it doubles as my Smart TV and streaming device. I did a lot of research before I bought it, and I'm very happy I bought to the point that I bought another M5 for my office and recently got my wife the M8. The sound quality is great, I haven't had the need to install any sound bar or anything. I watch all the games and stream HiRes movies all the time and of course do all my work on it. The only thing I have to warn you about is that you will never be able to look at another screen the same way.

I was completely blown away by this monitor. When I first saw the box, I thought the monitor would be too big for my desk but it fits perfectly, without feeling overwhelming. The size took a bit of getting used to from the 19" monitor that I had previously. I love the fact that I can control it with a remote to use the tv functions. The kids love watching videos and movies on it and the picture quality is very clear. The remote also has quick access buttons for Netflix and Prime, which is great because my 4 year old is able to use it. Another big plus is that the computer doesn't have to be on to use the tv functions. Overall, I'm in love with this monitor.

This 32” M7 4K UHD Smart Monitor with Streaming TV, is great. I'm glad I the 32" because its big for my desk at normal face to face proximity. I was considering getting the 43"( would have Been to big) but this is just right and then some. I use it for Working remotely and not working to Stream, my Netflix, Amazon Prime Videos, HBO Max, Hulu and MLBtv baseball games. It also suing as second screen with my Apple Mac Mini. I'm even able to login to Microsoft 365 Suite apps of MS Outlook, Powerpoint, Excel and Word. I really like and enjoy the multi-purpose of streaming downloadable apps and to Dual screen for Work and Leisure. Best investment for the year. Thanks!

i bought this monitor to replace a six-year-old display that cost 1/3 the list price of this one. one would expect that that three times the cost and six years of advancing technology would yield a product with a better picture than the product it replaces. it doesn't. this supposed hdr display had less vivid color, dimmer picture, worse viewing angles, and an overall washed out gray cast to the picture compared to the sdr display it replaced. you would think the smart monitor features would mitigate this somewhat, but i could have plugged a roku into my old display and achieved better results for substantially lower cost. and the speakers are awful too.

what a monitor! easy to install and use. i use it along with my samsung galaxy s21 and my laptop. the graphics are insane. no need to adjust anything after the initial setup. i already used the laptop for zoom meetings and it was spectacular. streaming movies was insane the sound and the display is nice for when you are in the office for long periods of time. the speed at which it works is amazingly fast and i truly can't compare it to anything else. i haven't had a monitor at home in such a long time,, this monitor can't be beaten. i recommend everyone to get it. the transition from my phone to the screen is amazing and easy. everyone needs a monitor like this!

i purchased two units that when they arrived they were doa. i was shipped two new replacements. of the two new replacements one did work as i was setting it up for my spouse. the second replacement was defective will all kinds of lines in the screen. once my wife started working on the one replacement that worked it went out after 1 hour. very disappointed. was excited to have a monitor that could be used without a connected device and could handle my mixed apple/samsung environment. samsung needs better qa on these units. i have never seen a defective rate of 20% let alone 100% in my experience. maybe i will try a similar unit again during my next monitor refresh.

This is my main PC monitor and while I use it for gaming from time to time, I also use it to stream movies and TV shows. Its picture quality is great for the price, and when it comes to gaming, this makes for a pretty good budget gaming monitor as it has "Game Mode" for your 4K / 60 Hz pleasure. The list of useful features is what impresses me for a 4K monitor at this price. Bluetooth, USB hub (which includes a USB-C port), HDMI ARC, built-in speakers, apps, screen mirroring, a remote control, etc. This very well-rounded monitor is my go-to whenever I need a screen for just about any situation. It's a great deal.

Great monitor. Can easily switch between smart TV mode to HDMI as its used while working at home. Observed a problem that when connecting via external dock, occasionally when when laptop is connected, screen doesn't show anything until hdmi is unplugged and plugged back in on the external dock. Since it has internal speakers, able to use its speakers than using laptop speakers when a laptop is connected to monitor. Also the Type C port on monitor would be better if it has charge thru as it doesn't seem to charge my laptop when connected directly. Also the PC on screen is a great feature and helps that I don't have to open my laptop and can just connect remotely

I recently bought this monitor and the display is great. If I could pick any downsides, it would be that the screen is unable to be moved around to change the viewing angle. So unless you buy a separate stand to mount it on, you're stuck with the same viewing position. The other issue I have is that I have a Samsung TV in the same room. The remotes cannot be synced to one. No matter how hard I try. If I'm turning the TV off, the monitor turns on. I haven't found a fix for this issue yet though. I use a Macbook Pro, and it connect really well through the HDMI and can also be charged through the USB C port. 4 and a half stars from me. And this came at a good price as well.

I was excited for all the features of this M7 4k smart monitor. Exactly what I was looking for. When I went to plug it in to turn on the power, the SCREEN IS BLACK! Absolutely nothing... I know the power is on because the red blinking lights flashes when I use the remote or press the power button. Tried everything to troublshoot but how when the screen is black/blank? I've bought many Samsung TVs and am loyal to Samsung, but I have never experienced a monitor that can not even turn on??!! Unbelievable! And now reading the recent reviews from others I am not alone. i really love these monitors. i bought two of them which it a problem because i have to always have them both on unless i unplug one. in the beginning, i thought they were too dark but after doing some settings they turn out to be beautiful. one thing i really love is the eye comfort, seeing i work directly with computer all day for work. no eyes issues or strain. i like the idea of being able to use without a computer but i use with one as it is more efficient for me. i do sometimes indulge in watching movies on this and it is wonderful. i wish i had waited to get the larger one as well. great idea samsung. is there a way to turn off without using the remote?

i spent a lot of time researching this monitor. i wanted a lot of real estate for working from home and a tv replacement solution for the guest bedroom i use as an office. this monitor has been nearly flawless. i don't have any of the concerns about screen brightness mentioned in other reviews. i have a south facing window next to my desk and i've never wished for a brighter screen; it's pretty perfect. color representation isn't perfect, but for what i do, it's fine. tv functions really well and the speakers are pretty darn good at this price point. usb-c is a huge bonus! 32" 4k display with built in power supply at this price? i am super pleased with this device.

not too big, not too small. enjoy the tv functionality. did not like my wireless mouse/keyboard usb getting stuck in the input. had to buy a new one because i literally had to rip it apart to get it out of the tv. not enjoying the usb-c connection to my laptop as the tv gets confused to whether or not i'm using my laptop, when i am. resulting in the monitor continually switching to sleep mode. picture quality is definitely not the best. samsung makes the best phone displays, yet fails at monitor display. speakers get loud! when turn on my main tv, the monitor would come as well. resulting in having to get out of bed and turning off the monitor. all in all, i like the monitor.

I absolutely love this monitor! This replaced 4 24 inch monitors use for work! Gave back a huge amount of real-estate once minted on a monitor arm, just had to find a an extended pole monitor arm (15 inch), the VESA standard made it much easier to find a good product to use. USB-C is reliable and works great with both my MacBook and my Lenovo. Plenty of input options (built in hub), and did I mention this thing is also a smart TV?!! After work, I can just pop on a movie or the show I’m watching with the remote and kick back. I love the versatility and the quality of these Samsung monitors. Samsung has really taken the time to think through every possible use! Thank you Samsung!

I bought this monitor after having to transition to working from home and allowed me to move from having 3x 23" monitors, to a single monitor. This immediately improved my desk layout, combined with the 65w charging from the USB-C, I was able to connect my laptop over a single cable. Add a wireless mouse and keyboard and it became an almost perfect setup. As a bonus, it has smart features, allowing me to jump on and watch some tv shows in my downtime. Is it perfect? No. It would be good if the USB ports functioned as a USB hub, and PIP would be a fantastic addition to allow using multiple devices being attached. For the price, it's an amazing monitor with plenty of great features.

I use this as the main monitor for my MacBook Pro and absolutely love it! The USB-C hub is an amazing feature that lets me hook my MacBook Pro (personal computer) to the HDMI, as well as my Dell laptop (work computer) to the USB-C. The USB-C is powerful enough to keep my work laptop charging and use the monitor as a second screen. The USB-C is NOT powerful enough for my MacBook Pro, but for less demanding machines, it works great! There are some minor annoying issues with the UI and the system switches inputs on me randomly from time to time, but is manageable. This is the reason for 4 stars and not 5.

What a great monitor, I have 2 of these monitors running off a MacBook Pro M1 Max Pro using a OWC Thunderbolt4 Dock and it is amazing. For me the biggest thing is clear text as I'm working at my computer most of the day. I'm not a gamer and I'm not sure the speed will be good for most gamers, but I don't think this is being sold as gamers monitor. It is a Smart Monitor and it is smart, this monitor acts like a TV (without a cable connection) so basically you have all your apps built in and connected to wifi, watcha any of your apps with out a computer being connected. Even Microsoft 360 without a computer. Highly recommend, seems to be good quality and great 4k screen and brightness.

I use my as my monitor for my mini mac, PC and Playstation 4. The ease I can go between all my devices from work to play is outstanding. the size of the monitor is perfect as well. I have my monitor on a swivel arm which is attached to my desk. With the size of the monitor being 32", I can easily movie it and adjust it to whatever I need it to be. Granted I could still do that with the stand that came with it, but I wanted more flexibility since I used this monitor for everything. Definitely recommend this monitor! It delivers on all its promises for working, streaming movies or playing video games. Settings are easy to adjust for each device. I give this monitor 5 stars easily!

It's an all around device. 4k resolution looks great, especially when gaming. Smart Features are impeccable. 75hz refresh rate makes it a bit smoother than everyday monitors. Occasionally, there is massive latency. One input with the remote would be inputted 10 seconds later, but this is very rare. Also, wireless Dex is just... strange. In order to use it, you have to hit the phone onto the side of the monitor. I use Dex virtually everyday, so I'm kind of worried my phone is just going to... break. But if you don't really care about those two things, then this is hands down best all around monitor.

i was excited for my monitor, but the screen is very dull in comparison to my other samsung monitors. ai use with my computer, but tested it without and it has great potential. i was able to use office products without the use of computer. i couldn't remote into my company but that could be because i need to understand more or get used to it. today review 3/27/21 is just the 2nd time using or testing it out. i will give more updates once i get use to it. i hope there are updates samsung can send to make it little brighter. samsung you need to pay attention to. we need it for work not movies only.

i was very excited to receive 2 of these monitors as a gift for a dual screen setup for medical school. after setting the monitors up i discovered the 1st was defective. the screen would attempt to power-on without producing a picture and would then click off. it would continue cycling through this process without ever coming on. i returned the first screen and ordered a replacement. that night, the 2nd screen stopped working and began doing the same thing as the 1st. i ended up returning both for a refund and am now shopping for replacements. very disappointed in the poor quality of these screens.

Imagine your Smart TV and PC Monitor had a baby, that is what the Samsung Smart Monitor is! It is a monitor for your PC, but has all of the features of a Smart TV. It can connect to your wifi and you can run your favorite streaming apps directly on it! The big game changer for me is DeX support. If you're not familiar, it is a desktop mode for your Samsung smartphone. Since this Smart Monitor supports it, you can wirelessly enable DeX on your smartphone and you now have a desktop. This is amazing tech and this would be a great monitor for students. This being a Samsung display, it has wonderful colors and brightness. Lastly, it even has speakers built in! My wife and I love this monitor.

Glad i bought this. Excellent picture quality when plugged into my MacBook Air (Apple silicon) through HDMI adaptor. USB-C doest work with it unfortunately, and the machine cant power two screens at once it turns out, but i can send wirelessly through airplay. There is a little lag with this option, but less than my old 4K Dell monitor, and the picture quality is not as good and cant be changed. Wireless Netflix is great, but the web browser is a bit tricky if you dont have a keyboard plugged directly into the monitor. USB and USB-C are handy for charging, but only works when the screen is on.

I bought the 32 M7 Smart monitor to use with my work laptop and Note 10 plus. I have tested most every feature with my favorites being the Wireless Dex and built in remote desktop connection. I manage a small manufacturing company and have been testing these out in the hopes that we will soon replace all workstation with the monitors to be used with our RDS environment. The Wireless Dex is an amazing feature and comes in handy when ever I leave my laptop at the office as most all my work needs are web based apps. This means I can access them from my Note 10 and display it on my M7 with ease.

The Samsung Smart Monitor was super easy to set up. I needed an extra.monitor for work and already bought the cables and come to find out it had the cables with it! That was an awesome surprise. Set up was super easy. The sound is amazing and the picture quality is way worth it. I set it up to dual screen with my Mac computer for work. I have not figured out how go change the screen brightness/adjustments yet but it was a super easy job to do. The picture quality is very clear. The volume goes up super high. I was able to link Netflix, Hulu, Disney and a few other apps within minutes.

This Monitor is absolutely amazing. I can not say just how impressed I truly am with this Smart Monitor. This monitor has all the features of a smart tv in a smaller form, I love the fact it has 2 HDMI ports and a USB-C connection. The screen is amazing and the picture quality is out of this world So perfect. This monitor features a range of picture modes and a ultra wide game option which is awesome. I bought a new Intel Nuc Mini PC and bought this monitor as the second screen. As as new product designer and manufacturer, I appreciate good design. This is not good but great. I didn't know what SMART meant until I set it up. It's basically a Smart TV without the aerial part, but who watches TV anymore, anyway! When I turn the computer off, I can then watch anything on any of the hundreds of built in or downloadable apps, from Netflix to Youtube. Brilliant. I can even use my Smart Keyboard with it, pressing one of the other device buttons, swithcing from my computer to my monitor.

I've had a few monitors in my office/studio, but this one is my absolute favorite!! I primarily use this to hide in my studio and binge my favorite shows on Brit Box. :-) Of course, I also use it for work. I edit audio and video files for broadcast, so everything needs to be precise and easy on the eyes. I've gone through several monitors that were inferior in one way or another, so when I found my Samsung, I was so relieved. The colors are true. The resolution is exactly what I need. And it even has decent speakers in it. (However, I rarely use them as the audio is sent to my editing PC via a flawless Bluetooth signal.) It was very reasonably priced. My Samsung is one of my favorite purchases.

Using it as a third monitor, I love the ability to connect to my computers either wirelessly or by HDMI. Color and detail are better with HDMI, but using it as a third computer monitor with e-mails and documents is a lifesaver since I do not need my reading glasses as I do with the 21-inch monitor or the laptop screen. I have not explored all the capabilities of this monitor as I do not use it for gaming or for streaming, but I believe it will be a super capable monitor for those functions as well. It really has more functions than I needed, but I like all the capabilities I use.

We needed an extra TV in the study but also a monitor as my laptop screen was too small. For less than half the price of the TV we were considering, we opted for this monitor instead. It has worked perfectly - haven’t missed the tuner as we didn’t have an aerial point in that room anyway and used the free to air apps to watch tv when we needed. Picture is great for documents and movies alike. Sounf could be better but for the price is reasonable. We just use the bluetooth speaker if watching a movie. A great option if you need an extra TV and monitor in a guest bedroom or study!

So I recently got this monitor so I could extend my Surface Pro X's screen and fell in love with the usbc display option, so much. But honestly the smart features such as opening up my work desktop remotely, fine-tuning excel sheets, fluffing up the PowerPoint, and doing everything I did on my home computer now my computer can be used by my neices and nephews while I open the Xbox app and show off my gamer tag and score...and play games with my Xbox in the other room being occupied by my own lil ones. Did I mention Smart? So I'm new to the smart home scene, and could not believe my monitor can be turned on and opened to the app before I get out of my car. Sure it's midrange, but it's my smartest buy I've made.

my Monitor developed a weird picture tint exactly 1 year after purchase. there is a very strong silvery background on any video or anytime when i connect with an external source. when i play videos on samsung tv or prime video app they have the same thing. the static images in the menu look fine, but if i play any video or connect my laptop its absolutely unviewable. i have contacted samsung customer service and sent them pictures but they are extremely unhelpful. they closed the ticket without resolution. no external impact or damage...worked fine until one day it didnt.

Great value monitor. Can connect to youtube, netflix, other laptops (RDP, VNC). However, it carries the same "WiFi" issue that I have with my 2017 smart TV, where WiFi seems to be struggling after turning screen off (not power off monitor) and come back on. Have to restart the monitor/TV from time to time to resolve WiFi connectivity issue. Other than that, it has been perfect so far. 32in is just nice to be used as monitor while I can watch movies from time to time. Can also connect to Bluetooth keyboard & mouse. Can connect to monitor wirelessly and via HDMI too.

i really like the picture quality on this monitor, it is fantastic. viewing angles aren't the best but good enough. the usb-c port is great, although i wish i could do more with it such as attach a hub to add additional input types to the monitor. this doesn't seem possible. access to settings is a little less direct than i'd prefer, but no biggie. the monitor itself is very minimalist and nice looking. my biggest gripe is the monitor doesn't have pbp (picture by picture) or pip (picture in picture) for any input types or apps. it would be so much better if it did. i don't know if those features can be added, but i think it would be a good idea...a smart device without a sense of multitasking isn't all that smart.

When entertaining company, I can grab my monitor and bring it into the living room, and using wireless gamepads, game with my friends in the living room using the PC in my room with the steam link smart tv app. Also, paired together with my Samsung Galaxy smartphone, I use Samsung Dex over USB C for a full desktop experience with access to all of the documents, photos, and other media on my phone, allowing me to finish work started on the go with no fuss.

I use the monitor for streaming. The built in speakers sound great in my room. I do have it with a VESA mount so I have great viewing angles from all sides. You can tell the smart features were focused on when they engineered this product. The chip allows fast changing between apps especially compared to my smart TV. It is easy to connect to over the phone app and I'm generally satisfied with my monitor. Easy connection to my MacBook over USB type-C and plenty of USB-A ports for peripherals. I don't game so I have no comment there, but it fits my uses perfectly.

I purchased this monitor for mainly gaming purposes. This monitor still suprises me with the amount of features it has. The resolution and quality allow me to play my games seamlessly. I also enjoy how, unlike most monitors, this one changes it's brightness based on it's surroundings. Besides gaming, i enjoy how it allows me to easily access streaming services. Last, but certainly not least, I truly love how I can transfer data easily using the usb port plug ins. It allows me to display things easily onto the monitor. This monitor has definitely changed the game.

i'm very happy with the m7! i'm a professional programmer, so i spend a long time staring at my monitor. i used a 27" qhd monitor previously, so i really appreciate the extra screen real estate and clarity offered by the m7's 32" 4k panel. the usb-c charging and usb hub works perfectly for me. the built-in speakers are better than my laptop's speakers, but i opted for a small all-in-one soundbar connected to the monitor's hdmi arc port, so now i also have great sound when i want to jam out while coding or relax with netflix using the monitor's smart tv features.

just got the new 16" macbook pro with max chip. my vision for updating my home office setup is to either airplay to two monitors, or thunderbolt for one and airplay for another. one monitor would be in upstairs office with wireless keyboard, mouse and the actually macbook. the other monitor would be downstairs in kitchen/office with separate keyboard and mouse. this would keep me from having to move the computer back and forth, but still have full access to everything from both locations. thinking this might be the monitor to accomplish this. any thoughts?

My Samsung monitor is awesome. I use it for work to enhance productivity. Very easy to use and connect via Bluetooth with my computer. I can move back and forth with ease on a great resolution. All my streaming apps came already built in and can watch anything that I would at home on demand. Also, the Samsung Tv feature is second to none. The Samsung Tv feature gives you over 150 movie channels and popular shows for free, all that is needed is an internet connection. Samsung is definitely my choice at work and at home for anything smart plus electronic.

I had an old computer monitor that I had been using as a second screen for a couple of years. Although it worked fine, I was looking for something that wasn't older than my little brother. While browsing I found this smart monitor and was thinking about getting the 27" model. Lucky for me, they had a sale on a bundle a few weeks later and I was able to get the 32" model along with a tablet and earbuds. I mostly use this for school and it is super nice to have a really large monitor that has enough space for multiple windows. I also use it a lot to watch sports and still have my computer handy to work on other tasks. The speakers have good enough quality to listen to music and to handle the sports, movies, and TV shows that I watch.

I use this for work and personal use (internet surfing and watching TV). It is a great picture and a really nice size. It is as big of a field that i would want. I need to move my head to.read a whole page on the screen. It would be annoying if it was any larger. I like the display quality for the price. The biggest disappointments are that it is not as plug and play as advertises and the wireless connection is not very stable. I run it through hdmi which isn't as convenient as wireless. It is just that wireless is too unstable to rely on it. I end up having to.manually connect Lastly, you will want a soundboard or speakers for audio. It doesn't have the greatest audio from the TV Overall, it's a great monitor. I love it...

The 32" M7 4K UHD Smart Monitor with Streaming TV is the right monitor I was looking for to make working from home a much better experience. The Monitor fits very well on 40" x 40" desk. The bezel is very thin making it ideal for small working offices. The resolution is also great; crisp images, the tv can adjust the colors based on what you are doing: watching TV or working on your laptop coding as I do. I recently plugged in my xbox to it and wow; I couldn't believe how beautiful the games look. Thanks to this monitor, working from home have gone to a whole another level I can work on my code, switch to youtube for a break, or play video games for a mental break! All in all, I love the monitor and I will highly recommended it.

I've been using this monitor (and smart tv) for a couple of days now and I really like the way how it works and feels! The screen is very bright with a traditionally perfect Samsung colors, bezels are really small and it kind of blends into the room surroundings! It's also nice that I don't need a separate TV in my home office. With just a press of a button I can change source to a TV and watch some TV shows. The menu and functions of the TV look and feel exactly the same as the real Samsung tv, no shortcuts. I really like it and the versatility I got!

I love this monitor I use it every day for work, trading, video editing, photos editing etc... The 32" gives you a lot of screen real-estate and you can even split it to multi task in the same screen. The USB-C port is amazingly useful to connect the display to your laptop without a need for any extra (they do include a USB-C display cable in the box along with the HDMI cable) you even can use it as a wireless display Let's not forget that with this monitor you'll get a TV embedded in the system so with a press of a button in the remote control you are in TV mode with all your favorite TV apps, features and the 4K stunning image quality I can go on and on about this monitor but I don't want to make it to long, I hope this helps

Quality - insufficient. Nice try but not really workable. Samsung : stop messing around. Monitor is not really suited for work - text is not displayed sharp (BenQ & LG are way better here) and the monitor simply lacks brightness (peaks out at 250 lm; 350 or higher is required). i moved from BenQ to Samsung and then to LG. As a TV fine, but stay away from this one as a monitor. The M8 might be better but at that price level there are probably also better alternatives. Not wanting to bash Samsung but it seems they are pulling all kinds of tricks with their displays (including the latest OLED TV). When are they going to realise that this just pushes consumers away from all their products. I cannot understand this type of marketing.

i have owned this monitor for a week now and have not been able to make use of majority of the functions mentioned. to begin with i could not even accept the terms and conditions due to what i was told was a bug. then when i go to connect my phone or laptop using airplay the monitor does not even show up even though i am connected to the same network. i have reset my phone, my laptop, and monitor and nothing seemed to fix the problem. i was able to finally connect using the usb-c cable provided with the monitor only for that to stop working 2 days later. since i have first booted up this monitor i have had problem after problem please save your money as a lot of the functions seem gimmicky. if i could have given 0 stars i would have.

I bought this in September 2023. A good monitor, with many integrated features. It doubles up as a digital tv and has built in apps like Netflix & Prime for entertainment. I use Alexa voice assistant to move move through the apps. As I also run a Samsung SmartThings hub for home automation, this monitor can be controlled from my iPhone on my SmartThings app. I use HDMI to connect the monitor to my PC and USB-C display port connection for my Dell laptop. For me, 43” big is my ideal size! Plus it is 4K. Samsung should provide us with a longer usb-c cable. Easy to assemble out of the box. I’m please with this buy and use it to remote in to work on weekdays and play adventure games on weekends. The image quality is pretty good for a VA panel.

I have actually bought 2 of these, on in 32" and one in 43" I've really enjoyed both. The 32 I primarily use for working and desktop functions and the 43 is plugged into my PS5 where I use it for mostly gaming. I do use both for streaming from time to time. However, I'm not really a fan of the Samsung streaming software. I usually use my PC or PS5 for streaming. If you find these on sale, they are very competitively priced and function pretty well. There are probably better "gaming" monitors out there, but for my laymen eyes, they work well.

This monitor has had me since I authorized the purchase. It's a TV with the specs of a PC monitor. I love how all I need to do is recline into gaming chair and just swap the input to start watching my steaming services. Yes it can be done on the PC input but streaming services are spread out. With the smart monitor capabilities, you have everything linked and ready to play just like the living room TV. It's an added bonus, let alone it's 4k and has great visual prowess. If your looking for a new PC monitor, this is well worth a look.

Great resolution for watching TV, and I also use it for work, where i write software code. It's been perfect for me since I started working at home. I love that it does double duty as a TV and monitor. I connect it wirelessly to my MacBook air and also to my Mac mini. I also use dex on my Note 20 ultra phone, and it's wireless for the Dex OS. The Netflix button and prime buttons on the remote are convenient and if i misplythe remove,i can use my phone as a remote. Overall it's great. I wish it came in White, but now it does in the M8.

I bought this monitor over a month ago and, despite the reviews here, I wanted to give it a try and, until now, it's working great! I like the settings menu and how I can mix entertainment and work. I have a set up with three screens, and I love the looks of this one in the middle of my desktop. The image and brightness are just as I need it so, no complaints about it. The only issue I have is related to the USB-C port. I have a new laptop with a USB-C port and, I plugged it into the monitor; it was working well until, one day, the monitor wasn't detecting the computer. The laptop detects the screen and its properties but, the monitor asks to turn ON the USB-C device I'm trying to connect to, so I'm looking for a solution to that.

I love how much I can do with this monitor. I can access all of the streaming platforms I use - Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, Starz, HBO - quickly and easily. The remote access feature let me check in from anywhere, so I can keep up with work and my kiddo can keep up with school. I love working from the living room, so the adaptive picture feature ensures I can easily see my screen. Using the Ultra Wide Game view gives me a great picture when I am watching my shows or sports. Since I can manage so many things from my phone, like documents and other files, I appreciate the quick and easy ability to transfer data from the phone to the monitor. The best feature is talking to the monitor - the wife and I love this feature and crack up when the kiddo uses it.

This is honestly a great product when it comes to productivity and gaming. If you are looking for a screen that is able to cater to productivity and gaming, this is the product for you. What I like about it is how everything is in one place and it's very convenient to work hard and play hard. The one thing that I don't like is how the quality of the remote is not that great. If I had to complain it would just be the quality of the remote and how it tracks a lot of magnets of fingerprints and smudges. Besides that I really don't have really bad things to say about this smart monitor. I would say this is really great for kids that are in school make you are in college it's not too cheap nor is it too expensive. You really get your money worth out of product

Hey there! So, I've been using these monitors for a while now, like 8 to 10 hours a day, and they're still going strong. I'm really happy with them, even though the price dropped after I bought them. No regrets here! I'm thinking about getting a wider monitor, but I'm not sure if I really need one. These ones are working great. Also, the smart commands on these monitors are super reliable and responsive. It makes using them a breeze. Updates are easy to manage, and I even use the second monitor in my bedroom to keep an eye on my security cameras. Plus, I can watch YouTube videos and monitor the cameras at the same time with Duo mode. All in all, I highly recommend these smart monitors. They've been great for me, and they come with a lot of cool features.

The monitor is truly a great tool. I love the easy to use smart interface and wireless connectivity. It sets up well and works with HDMI, and also the Galaxy phone devices vis DeX. I have been switching from work laptop display, to gaming laptop, to watching my phone messages seamlessly. Also, it has great audio and it's reasonably color accurate. There are a few pixel issues and I have had to buy more than one of the product but beyond that I love it. The added ability to use as a TV/Netflix hub makes it very multifuntional.

i have been in the market for a new monitor on my home desk that could also serve as a tv for my bedroom. i needed it to be good for general computer work, gaming, and tv. this monitor hits that nail on the head, excellent smart features and amazing, bright, colorful picture - with one major flaw: i cant seem to find a way to disable global illumination (pwm). this makes it impossible to see anything in dark scenes, with lots of flickering. this monitor does not seem to have an ir sensor nor does it respond to anything i've tried to get into the service menu. unless i can find a way to turn off pwm, i will be returning this otherwise dream come true monitor. i really hope samsung comes out with an update that allows you to disable this in the regular settings.

great product so far. i use this for work and personal use along with the occasional netflix. the multiple inputs allow for quick switching between my personal device and my work computer. the ability to mount to a wall or monitor arm is also great. in my case i went with a monitor arm. as others have noted the display settings can be a little tricky to figure out to prevent the display from auto dimming. i had been looking for a 4k monitor to wfh with and this one hit just the sweet spot between features and price.

I bought this for my small home-based school for our all-class activities and it's has worked out beautifully. I had trouble pairing it with my HP Chromebook but just got a larger laptop (Envy) and expect to pair/cast to this without trouble. It's just the right size for the classroom and I love that I can do so many things on it. The picture quality is excellent. It was easy to set-up and the remote is handy, although I got a mouse to perform typing tasks more quickly. You can type passwords, etc., with the remote but it's laborious. It's easy to switch between screens and you can bookmark favorite sites to access them more quickly. The speakers are plenty loud enough and the volume control is in very small increments to get it "just right". We love this monitor!

i know the reviews are mixed at best but i love this monitor. i have had it for 2 weeks now and it has worked great for me. screen quality, brightness, and build quality are good. i'm not very picky on monitors fyi. it has speakers, which are great. you can plug in your keyboard and mouse to it and use it with your computer. 4k is nice. it is only 60 fps but i knew that before buying. definitely recommend this monitor assuming you don't get a defective one based on some of the reviews. i also love that this monitor doubles as a smart tv. i write this review to reassure potential customers that this monitor is not crap haha. i'm sure it's not perfect but i really do love this thing (so far) and will continue to do so as long as it doesn't break down suddenly on me.

for my use-case (apple airplay and work monitor), the monitor performed perfectly! out of the box, the ui was fairly sluggish, but after updating the os, things moved a lot quicker. tizen has most apps, but for the ones that are missing, airplay shined! usb-c charges at 65w, which is enough for my xps, but my work laptop needs 87w. i did not try smartthings, wireless dex, or tap view. however, office 365 worked well (plugged in mouse/keyboard directly and via blutooth). screen share also worked with my xps. built-in speakers work better than most, but still just decent. no line-in, but there is bluetooth (plus hdmi-arc) and wifi surround. auto source switching is not great, but the remote makes it easy. poor viewing angles (va panel type) it has a sleep timer!

I am very happy to purchase this monitor. I was shopping for a monitor and this came in at the right time. 1. Connectivity is brilliant with multiple devices and smart TV is an added option with Sound connected to monitor. 2. Great sound in the monitor to take calls from monitor. 3. Screen quality and the size is very good and a needed one for a home office. 4. So far I didn't see any Performance glitch or slowness in using this monitor. 5. overall, very pleased with this monitor. the display is very nice, large, but not too large, for my desk. the streaming tv features are great! signing in to the wi-fi network is a bit of a chore with the remote but it's the easiest i've used for that purpose. a feature that is important to me but doesn't work quite right is usb-c connectivity to my macbook pro (2017). you have to do a kabuki workaround connecting via hdmi first. see youtube for the solution. after you get it working, you can select up to the full resolution - 3840x2160 (or default for display) at 60 hertz. unfortunately, the monitor "forgets" after my macbook goes to standby and you need to go through the process again. hopefully a firmware update fixes this soon - then it would be all 5-stars!

So my husband brings home a new monitor - something I didn't think we need, but he always seems to pick winners. This ended up being no different. At first I thought I was just getting the bigger screen, but the other features really took me by surprise. Being able to access our media (Youtube TV, Prime Video, etc) without the computer even on is amazing! Everything I want to watch is a couple button presses away with the same form factor remote that we use for our living room TV. For that same reason I didn't have to really learn how to use anything, it's the same familiar experience we already have there. The screen is so bright and responsive, we were able to install it quickly and I was able to use it for both my PC and for consuming media. This thing is great!

I am really pleased with this smart monitor, ot is perfect for work and entertainment. I chose to buy a 4K model and I am happy with its size and picture quality. My family uses it a lot for all kinds of video streaming services from YouTube to Disney +. I also use it with my Galaxy Z Fold2 and Wireless Dex. My only wish would be if this monitor had Samsung TV plus support natively like my other Samsung Frame or Serif TVs have. If you are looking for a great looking monitor, get yourself a Samsung Smart Monitor!

I guess I did not look close enough at the features of the monitor before purchasing. I really was not looking for a smart (tv) monitor. I was kind of under the impression the monitor would support something similar to a picture in picture feature. It started out as a bad experience. Everytime the computer would goto sleep, I would need t9.disconnect and reconnect the HDMI cable to get video back. I Finally traced the issue to my video switch. I was constantly switching between CPU's. Apparently something in this process confuses the monitor. I eliminated the switch. Then connected one CPU to HDMI 1 and another to HDMI 2. It was not near as seamless to switch CPUs, and I now need to use two keyboards. Bottom line, for the cost I'm not really happy with the monitor..

I use my Samsung monitor daily as my work monitor that I mirror my laptop so I can sit at my breakfast room table and work in the comfort of my home with a cup of coffee and with the full 32" monitor on display and alternating between the free Samsung TV channels to catch up on the news on my work breaks. The remote is easy to use and logical. The picture from the monitor to clear without pixels and the sound is of a high quality as well. I would buy this again and recommend it to friends. Bravo Samsung.

Samsung provides the latest technology and software. I have been using this for a few years now and it has always been a very good experience. I have had the opportunity to work with a company that has a lot to offer for price below any competitors. There is no comparison, the picture is beyond any other product and screen is so compatible with any program or application. The color is unbeatable and there is no other product that offers a clearer picture with blasting colors not found anywhere else.

This is a okay monitor to be honest not worth the price at all, it is 4k 60hz and regular lcd ips its like a mini tv its honestly great overall but screen quality is subpar has a about 15 dead pixels but they are too small too notice unless your up close, but the software features are cool i feel this is samsungs first attempt.. if they try again and add some more features and more powerful on devices hardware more Android friendly this could be amazing, as for a device to browse the web, its perfect..

this monitor is a step in the right direction towards a smart, hybrid device for work and entertainment. it has a 3-sided thin bezel design with a tiltable stand (vesa mount replaceable). the colors might seem a bit washed out when connected to an external device but can be adjusted in the source settings. the built-in speakers are a good option along with a hdmi-arc port for an enhanced audio quality. the usb-c port charging functionality works most of the times - occasionally switching to slow charge. dex, smartview and airplay are great for mobile connectivity. tapview has not been reliable in my experience. the smart hub has the major apps but for some reason samsung tv plus is not available which is a huge disappointment (i hope this would be added in a future software update).

I do a lot of writing projects and got this monitor so I could pull up multiple sources at once for reference. It is absolutely perfect and has boosted my creativity and productivity. It’s also the perfect size for a small tv if you need to take a break and use the smart hub feature for all your favorite shows. Or even playing your favorite games in the cloud gaming portion. It’s a beast of a monitor and I have been loving it! Would highly suggest for those who like a good mix of fun and workability!

i've had this for a month and use it 8-10 hours daily. i own a samsung qled tv. my wife and i own samsung phones & tablets, a samsung bluray player, even a samsung dishwasher. so we're big fans of the brand. the usb hub is limited to 2.0 speeds. if you need to connect to storage or a gigabit ethernet adapter (for those of us who need a stable vpn connection), you'll step back more than a decade in bandwidth. i pinned all inputs into the home nav bar, but whenever my dell desktop sleeps, it disappears from the nav bar. i count 6 lcd imperfections.there are 2 clusters of dead pixels. one looks like a hyphen, the other like an apostrophe. there are also two dark spots that look like bad smudges. and they're a couple of inches apart so any windows there show both smudges at the same time.

i'm very pleased with this monitor. the monitor has excellent sound quality, streaming apps are high quality, and the remote/menu is easy to navigate. works as a wireless screen for windows, acts as a bluetooth speaker, can receive airplay, and has hdmi and usb-c ports. with the connectivity options, i was a little disappointed that google cast cannot send video from the google pixel to the screen. hopefully they consider adding this functionality in the future. i had assumed that this would be included since samsung makes android phones. my only other comment is that the included mount is fixed position -- no horizontal or vertical adjustments for a more ergonomic position. overall, i am highly impressed. it's exactly what i was looking for in a monitor at this pricepoint.

i love everything about the monitor but i bought it for the purpose of screenshare with my laptop. it worked then didnt work then worked and then just doesnt work at all. this was all in the span of the first month owning this monitor. had it fixed if im not mistaken one or two times (though i definitely contacted customer support multiple times)... the issue is it wont find my laptop wireless and i got thats a big problem for me. the first week i went insanse cuz that was the only reason why i bought it, then all of a sudden the next day it works, then i leave it for a few days then it wont connect again. this is way overdue but im just back to put in my honest experience. otherwise the monitor is amazing beautiful screen and great for other stuff like watching tv or listening to music.

i like the product a lot but as far as the processor it is kinda slow, like im scrolling through the apps and i swear this is a new product made sometime within the last year and my mom samsung tv from years ago like 2016 has a faster processor or is faster, the wifi is the same so no reason why it should lag especially when your paying a lot just for a monitor, another is why is it only 60 hz refresh rate like thats such an old refresh rate and most new monitors support nearly double no problem

It's a brilliant monitor. The display is clear, nice thin bezels frame the image nicely and the smart features (although I don't use them all) are great to have. Two things I wished it had: A 3.5mm headphone jack so you can connect speakers (without the need for bluetooth), and a brighter backlight. Also, an on/off switch would be great, so I don't need to have the remote control in reach. Even in well-lit spaces I find it a bit dark with the backlight, but the monitor is perfect for night use.

The wow factor on this monitor is amazing. I don’t even feel comfortable calling it a monitor. Obviously it has all the functions that you would want for school or work or gaming on a monitor but then you have all these built in apps that turn this thing into pure entertainment. Logged in to my YouTube TV app built in and I’m watch 4K content right on my monitor from my desk or I can use this bad boy in a spare bedroom if I have company cause the screen quality rivals and 32 inch tv. If you look at the tech specs on this you will see how fast to processor is and how this monitor would support any heavy gamer or professional needing to get their work done. I don’t have anything negative say about this monitor. It’s literally performed flawless for me and done everything I’ve needed it to do.

I love this monitor it is large and so clear. The only issue i have with my monitors is they are HDMI only no Display Port which is the most common video output on GPUs. I have two of them one off of my GPU and the other from my Motherboard. The 60hz screens are from 2015 but expected with HDMI. The monitor can be used for gaming but I do not recommend it the GPU will be bottled necked on such a slow Display. Work like spread sheets and things of that nature are perfect for this monitor.

I use this Samsung monitor for connecting to my Windows laptop via the USB-C cable included with the monitor. That single cable transfers data, video and also charges my laptop. The AM702 smart monitor also has streaming capabilities and also includes a remote control to facilitate the streaming portion: Netflix, Prime and basically any other streaming service. It has 4K resolution and looks very sharp and clear with Excel, Word and any other work program I use. I love this monitor.

My family all own Samsung Smart TVs and I was always envious but not enough to upgrade my decent but aging flatscreen TVs. When my job transitioned to remote, I took home my also decent but aging computer monitor. After deciding to get the best of both worlds with the Samsung Smart Monitor, I will never look back. i hope samsung reads this review. i recently bought the m7 and love it. once i realized the usb-c port can provide 65watts and my thin client needs only 65watts, i got a usb-c to lenovo dc adapter and it powers up! works! but.....when the monitor turns off...the thin client turns off too. so! can samsung implement an update to the m7 firmware where it turns off the monitor when not in use and leave the usb-c power on full power? that would be a evolution for next gen computer setups.

I have been using the M5 32" smart monitor. It was awesome. But, I need another monitor. So, I bought M7 32" smart monitor. Daytime, I'm using dual monitor for my work. At night, I'm watching the Netflix, Prime video and youtube in my room. I don't need the TV. At first, I'm fine with M5 (2K resolution). Even though M5 monitor is also awesome, I am using only the 4K M7 monitor for watching movies and Netflix, etc. Also, I don't need laptop charger anymore, because connecting usb-c type can charge laptop!!!, which makes my desk clean. M5 and M7 monitors have each remote controllers, but if I push the power button, these two monitors are turned on at the same time. Smart things help to control the power of two monitors separately. I'm planning to buy another 43" M7 smart monitor for TV at the living room.

I use the monitor as my bedroom TV and workstation monitor. I was skeptical about the brightness, To my surprise it is brighter than I thought and convenient due to antiglare feature. Having Full USB-A port makes my life easy to connect my wireless keyboard and mouse combo with my computer, TV apps and Samsung Dex without needing to setup everytime you change device. Missing google duo in the samsung tv apps. If there is a support for external camera via USB would be great add-on

This is an awesome product for work and play. As a monitor it is large enough to not need two screens and with thr USBc plug it charges my laptop. Using dex via usbc or wireless from my Samsung phone is super cool and basically makes my phone into a PC with this monitor + wireless keyboard and mouse. As a smart TV it works great for Netflix, hulu and other apps. I love it. It was a great way to utilize the space in my bedroom for an at home office without sacrificing a bedroom tv.

In today’s age of planned obsolescence, one of the most important aspects of any purchase that is over looked by everyone, particularly reviewers, is the warranty. Sumsunng’s warranty for monitors is straight forward. Any defect, we come to your house (well, they send a third party tech). No “sub-pixels is greater than five”, no “send it to our service centre”. i have been using the monitor for a week with my macbook pro m1. everything is great and works very well! i am using the usb-c connection as the only connection between my laptop and the monitor. i get 4k at 60 hz and at the same time my macbook is charging. my wifi at home is my iphone 12 where i am using it as a router -wifi tethering. the smart tv features works very well eventhough it is my iphone which is my "wifi router" the screen gets a 5/5 based on my experience

I use my smart monitor for work, school, streaming and gaming! It does it all! I connect to my laptop and PS5, I don't when ope up my laptop anymore because it's so much nicer on the smart monitor. Bixby connection is great I'll start up shows with my voice or phone with this monitor. I love the remote as well, the dedicated Netflix button is my go to, and the microphone as well, switching from one input source to another with just my voice is something I can't go back from.

I use my Samsung 32" SmartMonitor for computer use as well as streaming Hulu, Netflix, SamsungTV+, and PrimeVideo The remote is compact and allows easy switching between the 2 HDMI inputs. I also used the included USB-C cable to charge my Samsung smartphone when using the monitor and my PC. The picture quality is simply amazingly sharp and natural. The cost is not extreme and works fine in all situations. Since it is an LED monitor the energy usage is minimal for the size and quality. The ability to stream content is a major advantage. I use it also with my Bluetooth high quality headphones and the sound quality is very, very good. Samsung has created a new category of device by combining a super quality 4K resolution monitor for computer use as well as a streaming Smart TV in one unit. Bravo Samsung !

Great list of options and things to do. I primarily use this as my PC monitor. My sole reason for purchasing this monitor was due to it being large enough to multitask onscreen. 4 windows all seamlessly operating at the same time, visible, and no need to squint or resize window. As a tv this operates similar to any smart tv, ample amount of apps. As a remote desktop stand alone drive this is as slow as a 486x PC with windows 3.1, buuuut it will function in a pinch. The connectivity is fair Bluetooth, USB-C 3.0, and 2 HDMI 2(not2.1). Great amount of adjustability in picture and audio. The bad.. 60hz refresh rate, lack of audio outputs(rca, optical) and no HDMI 2.1+. Aside from the negative this is a great baseline monitor/smart TV. I would recommend this to the average person anyway, techies or gamers probably not.

I use this monitor for general at home usage in my bedroom with my computer connected to it. I love being able to control the monitor using Alexa, the great picture quality, and the built in speaker volume and general sound, although the speakers could do with more bass. Being able to use AirPlay to mirror my phone to the monitor and also being able to watch YouTube and Netflix directly on it is extremely convenient at times for when I just want to kick back and relax.

It’s not very thing you’d hope it would be , clear , bright and colorful l andddd it comes with a rechargeable remote , cool right ? I thought so too. There is 3 things I hope Samsung will consider for future models that I AM going to buy because Samsung is everything. I would like to see better sound quality from the speakers , more lows. There’s no bass , but honestly happy they even included built in speakers. The software/Menu can be confusing and it’s hard to find the inputs section, and the remote doesn’t have that button to change inputs.overall very smooth software and lots of user friendly settings otherwise , even better than my old android tv . And last really broke my heart , No Display Port ,but maybe the next model will have one . Overall happy with my purchase and haven’t regretted buying it since.

What a monitor! Easy to install and use. I use it along with my Samsung Galaxy S21 and my laptop. The graphics are insane. No need to adjust anything after the initial setup. I already used the laptop for zoom meetings and it was spectacular. Streaming movies was insane the sound and the display is nice for when you are in the office for long periods of time. The speed at which it works is amazingly fast and I truly can't compare it to anything else. I haven't had a monitor at home in such a long time, but if you compare it to another monitor from work, this monitor can't be beat. I recommend everyone to get it. The transition from my phone to the screen is amazing and easy to do all you have to do is tap the upper right corner and boom all my stuff is on screen. Everyone needs a monitor like this!

I like that it's slim, great color details and I love the refresh rate on Gaming. Very good at streaming Netflix movies with realistic images detail. Great balance of whites and black and so far I have not seen the monitor reflecting light. Perfect for use at any lighting conditions. Makes you enjoy using Visual Studio and Python. Makes software look advanced. I love the fact that it does not heat up even if used for 48hrs straight. This is a smart screen indeed!

Love the apps for streaming with great picture and sound. Super bright, I can use outside. Works great with Samsung smarthings. Please SAMSUNG add Cisco Anyconnect VPN app and this would be perfect. I mainly use this for connecting to work. I now need to use my laptop via HDMI because limited vpn apps available. Don't like that the offer case is flimsy and be no power on button- need to use remote. But I would definitely recommend and I would buy another

Pros: - sharp picture with nice colors and high contrast ratio (black areas appear black not dark grey). Cons: - "forgets" the "Dynamic Brightness" setting - each time after running an inbuilt app and then using the screen as a computer monitor it's necessary to go to the Setting menu to reset that setting - the remote control I received doesn't charge from its solar cell - automatic brightness feature doesn't work well (screen is too bright in low light settings and the feature seems to affect color temperature) - it's not possible to set the screen brightness from a Windows PC (no DDC/CI support) - slight Bluetooth audio delay? - I did not get any issues resolved by contacting Samsung Support (My M7 Smart Monitor has software version 1210. I expect some of the issues could be addressed by a software update.)
