I recently bought this monitor and the display is great. If I could pick any downsides, it would be that the screen is unable to be moved around to change the viewing angle. So unless you buy a separate stand to mount it on, you're stuck with the same viewing position. The other issue I have is that I have a Samsung TV in the same room. The remotes cannot be synced to one. No matter how hard I try. If I'm turning the TV off, the monitor turns on. I haven't found a fix for this issue yet though. I use a Macbook Pro, and it connect really well through the HDMI and can also be charged through the USB C port. 4 and a half stars from me. And this came at a good price as well.

So far enjoying it, great for the price I read in reviews that the stand is wobbly, the screw bottoms out before it can tighten down on mine, I added a spring washer and that helped. Still jiggles a little, I think that's also to do with the mass of it (being a large sized screen) and only supported in the middle on a thin largely plastic stand. But I'll likely Vesa mount it in future. I expect to have shortcuts somewhere in the design as it really punches above its weight in other areas. It has built in speakers, sure, but while that's convenient, and I appreciate the option, that is not my ideal listening experience and I have good speakers right next to it that I would like to use... So, brings me back to the audio thing! Normally, if a monitor didn't have something like that, I wouldn't care and I'd just get audio from the source device. But this is a "smart tv" / monitor. So it creates sound from the apps (Youtube/Netflix etc) - I need a way to get that. And I'm not about to buy a hifi receiver with hdmi/arc support just for this. I've heard it can tether to a bluetooth speaker... which, is a nifty sounding feature! But will result in latency as bluetooth always has, which will mean dialog that is out of sync. Also the speakers I already have sitting next to it - don't have bluetooth! Anyways. This was my surprise when I set it up. I'm debating whether to return it over thie (but there really isn't anything like it in this price range) or will research arc -> analog audio adapters in case this can help me. A strange omission! I'm conflicted as there's some awesome choices with this product!

I really WANTED to love this monitor..... I really did.....and maybe for some-one other than me, it would be great. But whilst the concept of this monitor is amazing, the execution is poor. The Good; - Excellent feature set... with heaps of connection options. - Awesome value. - Lots of detail & contrast. - It LOOKS nice.. small bezles, nice metal base... - Remote control is great and the "smart" features are really cool. Makes using the monitor feel "next gen" compared to the clunky monitor menus etc on other, traditional, monitors. The Not So Good - Viewing angles are not great... so if you are close to the screen ( normal desk at home ) you can noticeably see the picture at side of the screens degrade with the angle. I suppose would not be an issue the further back you sit... especially if you are using as TV. - Colours are not as punchy as I had hoped. - It's a bit fiddly to build... but that is only once... The Downright Awful - REALLY cheap build - whilst it looks nice, except for the metal base, the rest of it feels really cheap - in stark contrast the the Apple Thuderbolt Display I was hoping to replace with this. - The weight distribution is horrendous. The things wobbles like no tomorrow as I type. Yes, my desk is somewhat wobbly itself, but I have an Apple Thunderbolt display that I was hoping to replace with this, and in exactly the same spot, it doesn't move at all when I type. Same for my wife's 2 24' Samsung monitors on the other end of the same desk - they don't move. Truly, I could have kept it even with the other issues because the concept is so good...but I literally could not work at all....it was SO distracting and after only 15 mins, i wanted to throw it at the wall. Again, may not be an issue if some-one has a desk that is built from granite... but for me, it was a deal breaker. - USB-C didn't connect data - it would show in the inputs with a little power button symbol whenever plugged into either my Mac Mini ( Thuderbolt ), Pixelbook (USB-C 3.1) or Tab S6 .... and it would charge the pixelbook and Tab S6 but would not recognize video. Tried different cables, including a Thunderbolt 3 cable, all to no avail. Reading on forums, it would appear to be a common fault that occurs.... Not an issue if you are just going to connect via HDMI... but the main reason I wanted it was the ability to connect multiple devices to the monitor easily via a single input. Again, for some people, this may all be ok... but the Wobble and the USB-C issues were deal breakers for me!! Took back to office works the next day for a refund for the USB-C issues.

Glad i bought this. Excellent picture quality when plugged into my MacBook Air (Apple silicon) through HDMI adaptor. USB-C doest work with it unfortunately, and the machine cant power two screens at once it turns out, but i can send wirelessly through airplay. There is a little lag with this option, but less than my old 4K Dell monitor, and the picture quality is not as good and cant be changed. Wireless Netflix is great, but the web browser is a bit tricky if you dont have a keyboard plugged directly into the monitor. USB and USB-C are handy for charging, but only works when the screen is on.

I bought a new Intel Nuc Mini PC and bought this monitor as the second screen. As as new product designer and manufacturer, I appreciate good design. This is not good but great. I didn't know what SMART meant until I set it up. It's basically a Smart TV without the aerial part, but who watches TV anymore, anyway! When I turn the computer off, I can then watch anything on any of the hundreds of built in or downloadable apps, from Netflix to Youtube. Brilliant. I can even use my Smart Keyboard with it, pressing one of the other device buttons, swithcing from my computer to my monitor.
I recommended this product.

We needed an extra TV in the study but also a monitor as my laptop screen was too small. For less than half the price of the TV we were considering, we opted for this monitor instead. It has worked perfectly - haven’t missed the tuner as we didn’t have an aerial point in that room anyway and used the free to air apps to watch tv when we needed. Picture is great for documents and movies alike. Sounf could be better but for the price is reasonable. We just use the bluetooth speaker if watching a movie. A great option if you need an extra TV and monitor in a guest bedroom or study!

Great value monitor. Can connect to youtube, netflix, other laptops (RDP, VNC). However, it carries the same "WiFi" issue that I have with my 2017 smart TV, where WiFi seems to be struggling after turning screen off (not power off monitor) and come back on. Have to restart the monitor/TV from time to time to resolve WiFi connectivity issue. Other than that, it has been perfect so far. 32in is just nice to be used as monitor while I can watch movies from time to time. Can also connect to Bluetooth keyboard & mouse. Can connect to monitor wirelessly and via HDMI too.

The monitor is excellent performs well but has a major flaw in operation. When ever I turn on or off my Samsung TV with its controller my computer monitor switches on or off with it. The Samsung monitor remote has no influence on my TV This feature is very annoying.

It's a brilliant monitor. The display is clear, nice thin bezels frame the image nicely and the smart features (although I don't use them all) are great to have. Two things I wished it had: A 3.5mm headphone jack so you can connect speakers (without the need for bluetooth), and a brighter backlight. Also, an on/off switch would be great, so I don't need to have the remote control in reach. Even in well-lit spaces I find it a bit dark with the backlight, but the monitor is perfect for night use.
I recommended this product.

I’ve had this monitor for 13 months and I just got a dead pixel on it. I love the monitor but wish the brightness could be brighter and let’s see how the warranty process goes. The operating system on it it a bit slow at times.

Bought this specifically for the USB-C connection which turns out is not compatible with macs. My Mac recognises the monitor but the monitor does not register the mac connection.

In today’s age of planned obsolescence, one of the most important aspects of any purchase that is over looked by everyone, particularly reviewers, is the warranty. Sumsunng’s warranty for monitors is straight forward. Any defect, we come to your house (well, they send a third party tech). No “sub-pixels is greater than five”, no “send it to our service centre”. We come to your house. One call to their warranty line, no pre-registering the product online, we come to your house.

Great monitor when it works. Picture quality, brightness, resolution and relative price are an exceptional mix. But it has some terrible issues: It loses signal sometimes. When I bought it, it happened quite frequently, multiple times a day. Since then updates arrived and it only occurs a couple times a month. What I really hate about it, is switching inputs which I need to do many times during the day: it takes 6-7 clicks to switch from USB-C to HDMI while I have dedicated buttons for Netflix, Samung TV (what is that?), Prime and Disney which I never used once. One more issue is with connected USB devices: they are sometimes on when the TV is off so I can charge things off of it, then other times they are turned off when my computer goes to sleep so charging stops unexpectedly. If these things were solved, I gave the monitor 5 stars. The input selection is the worst.

Bought this for the new M1 MacBook Pro to use on a desk. Great pictures and also allowed connectivity to the MBP over USB-C Gen3.1 cable and created a USB Type A hub at the back of the unit. Very impressed. However its major letdown is the wobbly stand. When typing on my keyboard the thing shakes forward and back all the time. Will have to wall mount this baby as it drives me crazy.

Working from home has made me realize the value of screen real estate. This large, clear monitor is clear and allows me to operate with many applications at once. When I am not using it the kids can easily watch TV or plug the Nintendo switch up for a better experience. Very versatile.

Beware when buying this one, there are couple of issues: 1. If you have a Samsung TV at home and the monitor is in the same room or nearby room, when some one turn on the TV using remote, it will switch off your monitor !! I have reported this issue to the Samsung engineer, hopefully it can be improved in the next version. 2. Issues with glaring on screen when using in a bright room. My monitor is 8 meters away opposite to the window, the glaring still make me very hard to see the screen. I have a 24 inch LG monitor and a 27 inch Philips monitor next to this Samsung one, the other two have no issue with glaring. 3. The brightness can only go up to 250 cd, it's probably okay if you use it for watch YouTube etc., using for office work is not recommended in my option as the screen is too dark. There are few good thing about this monitor. The monitor has a sleek bezel and design looks great. If you are looking for a 4K screen and don't mind with the screen brightness, this one is definitely a good value for the price.

Amazing product, colours are rich and vibrant and great smart tv intervention. As a computer monitor it’s amazing and the crisp visuals really pop. The only downside is that it doesn’t have a 3.5 mm audio out but it does connect to Bluetooth audio.

This monitor has so many features. I use it with my samsung mobile for DEX and toggle between this and my windows laptop with a paired bluetooth mouse and keyboard. Its so versatile and great for playing youtube and streaming movies like netflix.

This Samsung 4K UHD Monitor is practically also a TV (Streaming Netflix and other streaming services). For a great price this displays fantastic 4K UHD quality. No issues with refresh rates for all the latest games I've tried.

Very versatile, it works as a TV, SMART TV, and Monitor. Although, would have wished it had a higher hertz rate(i.e. 144hz instead of 60hz). Delivery was on schedule.

After using the Samsung M7 smart monitor for a full year, I can confidently say it delivers excellent value despite some notable limitations. ## What Works Well The M7's standout feature is its comprehensive connectivity. The USB-C port with display alt mode is a game-changer - delivering 65W power delivery, audio, video, and USB hub functionality through a single cable. This makes it perfect for laptop users who want a clean, minimal setup. The Samsung Dex compatibility adds extra versatility for phone users. The built-in streaming apps (YouTube, Tubi, Spotify) work reliably and eliminate the need for external devices for casual entertainment. Build quality is solid overall, and the aesthetics are clean and modern. ## The Drawbacks Picture quality is where corners were cut. The older display technology shows - color accuracy is poor and viewing angles are limited, causing significant color washing when not viewed directly head-on. It's acceptable for general use but not ideal for color-critical work. The "Picture-in-Picture" feature is misleading - it only works with wireless screen sharing, not with USB-C or HDMI inputs, which severely limits its utility. Connection reliability is problematic. The monitor frequently fails to reconnect as a display device after power cycling, especially with Thunderbolt connections. Multiple power cycles are often needed to restore the connection.
