The 3D effect is extremely cool and really does add another level of immersion. Samsung has been adding new games regularly though at the time the library is not the biggest. However, you can play many many more not directly supported games in 3D through community efforts. Downsides are the performance overhead, the resolution split between two eyes playing in 3d and some ghosting with light objects on dark backgrounds. But these all come with the technology. Overall if you have the wallet, and beefy setup to take advantage of this hardware I really recommend trying this monitor. It makes me never want to play a "flat" game again.

This monitor looks outstanding in our home office and the features are incredible. I play a variety of intense and slow paced games that this monitor has no issue keeping up with since it has a 165Hz refresh rate. My games are always crisp and stutter free. The 3D features, like AI 3D video conversion and glasses-free 3D, my games and movies also come to life on the screen. Sometimes I feel like I am in my games., which is further enhanced by the spatial audio feature. The sound just wraps around me. The Reality Hub has been great feature for checking out some new games and I love that the edge lighting on the screen expands the visuals of the games.

The 27” Samsung Odyssey 3D is an impressive and interesting gaming monitor in my opinion. This glass-free 3D monitor works without compromise and does not strain my eyes. I was visually impressed by the depth of field and that there seemed to be no compromised to make it happen. Most of the games I tested in 3D seemed to work well and didn’t make my eyes ache after a few minutes of play. With the 2D video content, the Samsung Odyssey 3D uses artificial intelligence to convert it into 3D. I was extremely impressed by how well it worked. Despite being expensive, this 27” Samsung Odyssey 3D monitor worth every cents.

I got this and I was very disappointed to find only a small handful of select games even worked with the 3D feature. I was even more disappointed when I couldn't get any of those select games to work in 3D. The monitor is alright but since the 3D didn't work for me and my PC was more than capable of handling it, its just not worth it. I want to love this and I'll buy it again if they ever fix the software and make at least 50 big name title games work with the software. Even better if they just make the AI convert all games to 3D though. Here's hoping they can make this monitor the future, cause right now, they have a lot of work to do to make this thing worth the money.

I’ve been using the Odyssey G90XF for a few days now, and truthfully, it’s blown me away. The 165Hz refresh rate makes everything feel super smooth, and the 3D feature is way better than I expected - adds real depth without being a gimmick!!! Haven't been able to use it as often as I want just yet but so far, games look sharp and vibrant, and the low response time really helps in fast-paced shooters. To be honest, didn't really have much faith before trying it out but obsessed with the RGB lighting on the back - is a nice touch without being over-the-top. If you're into gaming and want something that feels a bit more next-gen, this monitor’s been a great upgrade for me.

Great 2D panel, 3D very impressive when it works. The included software is often buggy, 2D-3D conversion only works at the mercy of Nvidia's drivers(it does not work at all as of December 2025) and 3D in general only works on the current release build of windows, insider previews will break that functionality. So it is not a seamless experience. Annoyingly, auto source switch does not seem to work at all, so if you use the monitor with multiple devices, you're gonna get real familiar with the back of the monitor joystick. All in all, worth it on sale if you're technically inclined.

Me and my husband needs education,he believes Al has helped teach him security,and proper techniques to utilize the internet prpoerly,Brad sure wants to "Learn More" from Al,but he's hesitant about Al,he kinda started our car,thru the timing out,(ran backwards), but,he wants more understanding before he commits to any long term relationship, he's kinda stuck in the old times,please,Al,teach him more,he watches over me and helps with device settings,he's afraid to sign in to Samsung in his own account?You can help him before it's to late.Thank you

I'll start of with, I have barely touched playing any of the games with native support for the monitor. I've lightly dabbled with them, and there seem to be some hiccups in the three I tried, but overall a fine experience. I've mostly been using this monitor for watching 3D movies from my Blu-rays, and it's been remarkable. I've had some issues with needing to either reboot my PC, or unplug and reconnect the usb on the monitor because the eye tracking would not engage in 3D mode. Also the latest version of the software just straight up does not work for me on converting videos to 3D. Also who decided to put the menu button on the back of the monitor? It also is hard to click in two of the four directions.

Level Up Your Game with the Odyssey G5! Stepping into gaming monitors with the 27-inch Samsung Odyssey G51C has been a blast! The picture is vibrant and sharp – a huge upgrade. A couple of things to note: viewing angles aren't the widest, and you might see a little black smearing in dark, fast scenes. But overall? Not sure if my display is just defective (with how bad mine looks that may be the case), but the 3D mode on this monitor looks terrible. I've tried Lies of P, Silent Hill 2, as well as 2d videos with the AI 3d conversion. The games have terrible ghosting, and it looks like the monitor drops down to 480p res once in 3d. I've confirmed it's running at 3840x2160, and I've tried reinstalling the 3d odyssey hub as well as updating firmware. I've tried the monitor on 2 different gaming machines (one with a 4070 ti, one with a 3080) same issue on both

Great monitor with good connectivity 1 display port and 2x HDMI. The 4k display looks great especially when gaming in 3D. The refresh rate is 165hz which is decent but can be better. The monitor is 27 inches which is decent, if Samsung does do a revision of this monitor, they should offer the monitor in 34 in variant. Regardless the monitor is one of a kind, not that many 3D monitors available. The 3D works great with the supported games. Non-supported games will take a few modifications to get them to work, will work great after.

Its a really good gaming monitor in the price category of more pro monitors but lacking some pro functionality. The 3D function really works and it is amazing! The number of games playable in 3D is growing. The greatest strength not marketed properly is the 3D video! It looks fabulous, though could be more flexible in recognizing different 3D formats - it can only recognize half side-by-side... It can do HDR in 2D but in 3D it does only a fake HDR (SDR with increase brightness) which still looks great, but without HDR color space. Looks like HLG played on PQ monitor. The main function that it is lacking is different color space support (should be standard in this price category) and more versatile 3D recognition. Still worth the money! The 3D is truly amazing!

This monitor is the perfect addition to my office. I use it for work, home, and gaming everyday - it can handle everything! The glasses free 3D is incredible and really brings my movies and games to life - feels like they are jumping out of the screen. This is further enhanced by the AI 3D video conversion feature, since anything I want to watch is made more real. The Reality Hub option is great for finding gaming content that works with the 3D features. With dual speakers, I hear all my movies and games with even more intensity. The edge lighting is an awesome add on, making images really pop on the screen. With a 165 Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time, none of my games or movies ever lag. G-sync compatibility improves the flow of my movies and games as well.

This is my second purchase of the odyssey g90xf. One overseas and one for the mainland. This monitor is amazing. This new technology is the wave of the future and hopefully will be the definitive gaming and movie experience as we head into the future. Now we just need this technology on larger screens and tv's. Thank you samsung. Looking forward to the consistently improving hub software with updates! Easy setup, easy 2d to 3d transition when going full screen. Amazing picture quality and a solid design.

I think this monitor is the best 3d I have seen. The glasses free is so much more natural. I saw this thing in the store and the group I was with were really stunned at how good the 3d is. The 3D YouTube videos even look nice. I have it next to my Samsung 27inch OLED gaming monitor. Although it doesn’t have quite the black levels as the oled( who does) the rest of the picture is vibrant and clear. Fun for games. I wish 3d movies were available. The built in Speakers don’t have much bass but are clear sounding.

I am very happy with the monitor so far it was what I was hoping for in a glasses free experience. It isn't something I would drop a star for but I just wish it had a way to toggle into the 3d instead of relying on the software side. That being said it is performing as intended and have had it for a week now and appreciate the performance of it. I have not had any technical issues with it yet. The color and picture of the monitor are also very good. The Monitor was also very simple and quick to setup.

I got a chance to take a ride on the Samsung Odyssey 3D not knowing what to expect… and wow. The 3D is actually glasses-free and feels super immersive. I’ve been playing Khazan in 3D and it legit looks like the characters are popping out of the screen. It tracks your head movement too, so you can shift around and still stay locked in. Outside of 3D, it’s just an amazing gaming monitor. 4K, 165Hz, buttery smooth with zero ghosting — perfect for shooters and fast-paced games. Setup was easy: plugged in, installed Reality Hub, good to go. Yeah, it’s pricey, but you’re basically getting a monitor from the future. The 3D tech works way better than I thought it would. If you want something that’ll seriously wow your mates and make games feel brand new again, this is it. 100% recommend.

A very well done monitor that produces a remarkable 3-D image. Even though it is an IPS display, it produces very nice colors and has a good response time. The only thing that is currently letting this monitor down is the small amount of 3-D games that are verified by Samsung to work with this monitor. The ones that are there have really nice 3-D but Samsung will need to keep working on getting new games added to their verified list, especially new releases (maybe work with game developers to ensure 3D is considered from the beginning). Also PLEASE add a way to add 3D backwards compatibility to older games via the Samsung 3D Hub app that might not be officially verified, but so we can try playing those in 3D. That would increase the versatility and enjoyment of this monitor ten-fold.

Absolutely stunning monitor. The 3d effect is amazing. You have to try it to realise how good it actually is. Just wish there was more games supported as of writing this there is about 50. Been playing about with geo 11 and trying to get games running in 3d managed to get Batman Arkham working but very jittery even with a high spec pc . Need to tinker more but the 3d effect was the best I have ever seen.. so come on Samsung can we have support similar to geo 11 to get things working on other titles 🙏

This monitor is mindblowing! When it works... Unfortunately, From time to time it is a struggle to get it to sync with the games and I am not sure if a recent update broke it but it is getting harder and harder to have the games actually launch in 3d. The front facing cameras little red light does not always come on when the 3d hub is launched and its very obvious that it isn't working as advertised. Hopefully after a few more updates and support time this will be the next go to for gaming.

The monitor technology is very cool to experience in person. The natively supported games work ok and there's a plethora of community fixes that can be played on this monitor as well! The Odyssey hub takes forever to load though. The ghosting between eyes can get bad in high contrast scenes with high separation. Only the Eco picture mode is good for 3D, otherwise you'll get bad ghosting like in this attached picture. The AI 3D conversion for videos is a neat addition for DRM free content.

So just had it for an hour, just got it up and working and the 3d is really popping, which feels crazy. I guess there's still a limited support of some games, so I hope the software updates to keep up with the hardware, but this is some really cool tech. Some software QoL changes I would like however include: 1. Being able to keep this as a side monitor instead of main monitor 2. Apparently some people have had issues with the windows scaling? The 3D on supported games is fantastic, and to not have to wear glasses is brilliant 3D movies are great too Only downside is the monitor has a glossy finish, so if you’re in a brightly lit room, you see a lot of reflections. I have to shut curtains in dark scenes to be able to see things properly (in 2d as well as 3D) Also it has a slight screen door effect on bright white content which does affect overall however doesn't interrupt too much. Overall though, 8/10

This thing is SO COOL!!!!!!!!!! The AI Conversion isn't bad at all either. It might not be as great BUT ITS STILL REALLY GOOD FOR SOME VIDEOS. I can FEEL The Pop-Out and depth to any content. One issue is that I use an RTX 3060, so the performance is impacted. I hope this can be worked on in the future, so lower end GPU's can use this masterpiece (With better performance) The quality dips a bit in 3D mode which can take some getting used to, but its not the end of the world. Still very good. I tried the Dolphin Emulator and it works SO WELL!!!!!! Absolute perfection there. For Non-3D mode, the 4K display looks EXCELLENT. Very clean and smooth. HDR also works very well, but HDR isnt supported in 3D Mode. Would definitely reccomend if you have the reccomended criterias (3080 GPU, Intel i7, the reccomended specs.)

The instructions to get this installed and functioning are non existent. While it brags about FREESYNC compatibility it has in the fine print 2D/3D AI conversion is only for NVIDA. OK fine. At least, allegedly it supports SBS content but no way to play it. If there is, where's the instructions on how to set it up? The HUB software refers to a details screen. WHERE IS IT? The software only allows to select a predefined list of a dozen titles and nothing else. There are no other options. GAMESCAN wont pick up anything. I cant watch or use anything 3D on this monitor other than the floating game boxes bc there are no instructions on how to set up a 2K DOLLAR MONITOR. ABSOLUTLEY TERRIBLE!!! I HATE THIS MONITOR. SENDING IT BACK. WAITED AND WAITED FOR IT only to have the worst experience bc they cant bother with instructions.

This is a versatile monitor that has been great for both work and play! The 27" glossy screen makes colors pop and the 4k resolution gives plenty of room for multiple apps while text is crisp and clear. I've really enjoyed watching videos in 3D and the AI conversion looks great! The built-in speakers can get quite loud which allows me to clear off my desk's speakers. I also like how the LED edge lighting casts a nice ambient glow on my desk.

The 3D effect is indeed as impressive as reported. The pop-out and depth perception in Stellar Blade are exceptional. I experienced minimal ghosting, primarily during cutscenes. While the monitor indicates a 165 fps refresh rate, during 3D operation, it consistently maintained 60 fps. I am uncertain if the 4K resolution is active during 3D viewing, but the visual clarity is remarkably sharp. Connection via the DisplayPort cable was perfect.

Tried the Samsung Odyssey 3D G90XF at home—mind-blowing depth without glasses! Eye-tracking keeps the 3D stable as you move, and games like Cyberpunk 2077 feel insanely immersive. But the sweet spot’s small, and brightness drops in 3D mode. When it works, it’s magic; when it doesn’t, it’s headache city. Cutting-edge, but not perfect in my opinion. I bought this monitor, and let me say, it's pretty, really pretty. But the speakers didn't work for me, and the camera was only in black and white. The problem with the speakers apparently was something to do with my computer, but Samsung was unable help me figure it out. The camera couldn't be fixed, so they gave me a refund because the monitor is so popular they didn't have another to send me :'( I really want another!

Amazing prototype for whats to come. Not all games are supported yet obviously, but as more do the monitor will only feel that much better. It was kind of freaky at first but I got used to it rather quick. Connecting my pc was easy, and the size fit on my desk wonderfully. I can maintain high hz and play in great resolutions without compromise. Hopefully movies and etc via streaming services will be supported in future.

The monitor would be much better if the catalog of supported games would be bigger. Unfortunately my display had dead pixels otherwise it would have been 5 stars. If Samsung ever decides to make an OLED 34 inch version of this monitor, it would be an instant buy.

Overall it's an impressive device from a hardware perspective. My main points of detraction are that the software is not plug and play...there's lots of nuance to get the device to work. I'd really prefer if the panel had a matte finish instead of a glossy one. Other than that, the hardware execution is perfect. Looking forward to see what Samsung does with the software in the future.

Recived this monitor yesterday. I've been playing around with it and as a normal monitor it's great, Color, Picture, and Audio are all great. Now the downside is the 3D software is tricky to get working (it took me 2 hours just to get it installed correctly) and when it is finally working there's alot of shimmering and ghosting until you figure out the sweet spot to sit/look at it from.

The 3D technology implemented on the G90XF is the next step in immersion. It looks better than 3D glass equipped displays of the past because of the close proximity and ability to adjust where you sit relative to the monitor at will. The result is legitimate 3D immersion that had me putting my hands out in front of me to try and feel objects projecting outward from the screen. It's something you have to experience to believe. The Samsung Reality Hub extends this experience to anything with full screen support so even using the youtube app will allow you to autoconvert content to 3D which is amazing. Besides the 3D functionality though, underneath is a super high quality 4K IPS panel that is crystal clear. Motion handling is also very good with no blur or ghosting at 165hz. Overall it's an amazing monitor for both those who have never experienced 3D as well as those who have been waiting for its come back.

This monitor is truly a sight to behold. Ever since the early days of the Nintendo 3DS, I have been fascinated by glasses-free 3D. I use mine mostly for gaming, which is what I think it excels at. No stuttering, an abosloutley amazing display for games that are more about the environment, rather than maybe a PvP shooter. I do also stream a bit, it was easy with my old monitor, but having this just makes it that much better. Definitley recommended, and not overly priced, pros without the cons.

It's a really great 4k monitor and the glassfree 3d is amazing. The only downside to it is the price, need rtx 3080 and up, game compatibility and software as of writing this review. There are only 14 games available right now, but you can force other games to play in 3d if it use Unreal Engine but not all games with Unreal engine works. The reality hub don't have the feature to select and play non compatible 3d games but i got the game called (The Quarry) to work and other misc games by selecting one of the game titles like dragonball and choosing the game path exe. file to the games that you want to play. Other game that don't use Unreal Engine doesn't work like Snowdrop, Unity ect.. and I hope the Reality Hub software will get better compatibility in the future. I recommend you wait until this monitor gets cheaper with better game compatibility. If you have money lying on the floor now and want the best tech than get it ASAP.

I was able to get it to work on a handful of games, but only after installing the software 5 times. It took about 10 hours of troubleshooting to get it to work. The 2d to 3d video converter doesn't work at all. I have tried with 10 different sources, and it never works. I would say don't buy this and get a better OLED monitor that doesn't do 3D.

Amazing technology! The colors are vibrant, and the picture is very crisp. Low input lag, as one would expect from a gaming-focused monitor. The bezel is small and the monitor has a clean, professional exterior. The only drawback is the small number of compatible games (so far), but this seems to be improving day-by-day.

Reality hub shows error message "Reality Hub can only run when connected to the Samsung ODYSSEY 3D monitor (Model Code: G90XF) even though t's the only monitor connected. Update May 3rd, 2025 It's fine now after using cables included in the box. The 3D effect is fantastic almost like a hologram. Great work, Samsung!

They do not support the RTX 5060 ti ... yet.... its newer then the 3080 and 4070 and the same performance. this does not make sense. i am disapointed to say the least. not to mentiont ehre being a limtie dnubmer of titles supported anyway. i hope they get this supported on newer cards and, also, on mroe titles.

I am enjoying playing and watching content on this G90XF Oddisey 3D monitor, the built-in speakers sound nice and can get quite loud if needed. Haven't yet had the time to play with the 3d aspect which I know is this monitors main feature but I can already tell I will love it once I do. Been mainly playing using my PS5 and the colors on this monitor look amazing with HDR. I have also been watching movies and shows using my phones Dex and really like the speakers as they can get very loud and have great audio. The control on the back of the monitor is easy to learn and use as all settings are controlled with the one clickable stick/nub. If you plan to have the built-in LEDs from the bottom of the monitor display powered on, you will have to enable it from the the menu's as it is disable by default. To enable, navigate menu's and under "Game and edge lighting" set Lighting to ON. I have no regrets in upgrading to this monitor and I have yet to fully indulge in all its features

The 3D effect is very cool. After playing Palworld for a while with it turned on, I found it hard to go back to 2D. However, this is my first 4K monitor at 27", and it was extremely sharp when 3D was turned off. Some of that sharpness is lost when in 3D. If you have played with a 3DS game console before, the effect is very very similar. I found that it was still more enjoyable in 3D despite the loss in sharpness. With 3D turned off, the display is incredibly sharp. There are some minor lines you can see in the display, likely due to the layer that allows for 3D. However, it is not distracting/noticeable unless you are really looking for it at the edges of the screen at steep angles. It is not OLED, but the contrast is still excellent. I haven't had any issues with flickering or artifacts when G-Sync is enabled at 165Hz, something I had an issue with on a past Samsung monitor. The AI conversion from 2D to 3D is decent. It's not as good as dedicated media, but there is definitely depth.

Amazing Monitor - 165 hz refresh rate makes it easy for gaming with slow down or stuttering. Watching movies like Avatar in 3D on this monitor is nuts…not sure how Samsung built 3D technology into this monitor. You don’t need glasses to watch 3D content, superb design and build quality.

The display is certainly an interesting experience, especially with the glass-less 3D feature enabled. Overall, the display appears to perform well in regards to its picture quality and motion performance and features such as G-Sync/FreeSync capability. There can be some artifacts at off-axis viewing angles that’s likely due to the filter used for the glass-less 3D effect, but it’s otherwise a decent performing monitor. The glass-less 3D feature is the main draw and likely a primary reason for its price. While the native games are definitely mesmerizing to view, with the 2D to 3D conversion being a fascinating feature to experiment with, the very limited library makes it a tough sell. Either the library of native games and apps needs to expand - ideally sooner rather than later - or the price of the display should be adjusted to reflect the limited library. While the 2D to 3D conversion is a fun party trick, it has the hallmarks of a gimmicky feature. However, the Side-By-Side conversion does improve on some of the shortcomings of simple 2D to 3D conversion.

The vibrancy is fantastic. I do a lot of photo editing, and the color accuracy is spot-on, making the visuals incredibly punchy. The added 3D effect is a fantastic bonus for my design work.

Seriously beautiful screen. Even when I'm not using the 3D, the 4K picture is sharp, and the colors are brilliant. The fact that it can convert regular videos to 3D is just wild. Love it!

I was skeptical, but the 3D effect is unbelievably good. It works right out of the box and is super comfortable to view—no eye strain whatsoever. Easily the best monitor I've ever owned.

While the 3D is fun, I use it primarily for work, and the high resolution and responsiveness are superb. It handles spreadsheets and video calls perfectly. Excellent all-around display.

The refresh rate combined with the 4K is incredible for fast games. The 3D adds so much realism—it genuinely pulls you into the world. Absolutely phenomenal panel for serious gaming.

For RPGs and action games, this monitor transforms the experience. Everything feels deeper and more real. It's shockingly easy to toggle the 3D on and off too. Solid build quality.

I just swapped out my old screen for this, and holy cow. Everything looks way better. The 3D stuff is fun, and it works way easier than I thought it would. Totally happy with it.

I can't believe how well the glasses-free 3D works. It's crystal clear and so comfortable. Finally, 3D that doesn't feel like a chore. Best monitor upgrade this year, hands down.
