[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The fact this can be used as a streaming smart TV is amazing and makes it so versatile. Set up took only minutes using the Smart Things app. The remote is genius and innovative. The colors are vivid and bright. Animated movies look crisp and colorful. Sound is decent for being a monitor, I'm looking for some gaming speakers that will pair well with this for gaming. The streaming apps were easy to set up but we had difficulties setting up the gaming controller and console. There are many on screen tutorials. The remote battery level shows up as soon as you turn the monitor on which is very useful especially since it is rechargeable and solar!! The webcam is innovative and wireless which makes it super easy to use. The monitor lets you know your battery level when you power it on which is useful since it's a rechargeable remote. I like playing some games on this monitor but I think a higher refresh rate would be better. When family or friends visit it's great to have this monitor in our game/spare room so guests can watch streaming services.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Out of the box the screen is fairly lightweight and extremely thin. Installing the stand was simple and only needed one screw. There were several options for setup and since I was using my Samsung smartphone I was able to set up using the smart things app. This made set up extremely simple. Signing in to streaming apps was super easy. The remote is state of the art. No more batteries being replaced, easy charging port plus SOLAR!!! Seriously what a great idea!!! The remote and settings were simple to use. The ease of getting in and out was fairly easy. Plenty of tutorials if you need assistance. I was a little frustrated with trying to set up the gaming system. Tried to sync my gaming controller using Bluetooth but I could not get it to work. Tried to connect the gaming console through HDMI but could not get it to work. The colors are vibrant and sound is decent. One of the settings uses the environment to adjust settings which is pretty cool. The 32" makes it a great monitor for all my needs. The adjustable stand makes it easy to use in different locations. Since this is in our game room, we sometimes use it as a spare room and put up a blow up mattress for guests. I love that our guests can use this monitor to watch streaming apps.

The Samsung 32" Smart Monitor M8 is an aesthetically pleasing addition to anyone's home office. It has a sleek design with a then bezel that fills up the entire screen when watching tv or movies. The stand is heavy quality that supports the large screen and the stand moves both up and down and also tilts for perfect positioning. This monitor combines both a PC and a Smart TV making it a great option for a small office where one doesn't have room for both a TV and a PC monitor. The TV supports most streaming apps and comes with Samsung TV Plus for free giving you additional live tv shows and movies without a monthly subscription fee. It also comes with a remote for the TV options that also works as a mouse on the PC. The colors are vibrant and crisp with amazing detail and an anti-glare screen. The speakers are okay, but you may want to include bluetooth speakers if watching a movie for a more intense sound option. The setup was quick and easy and the stand is easy to attach to the monitor. This monitor also comes with a detachable webcam with a magnetic cover for the camera. You also have multiple port options for type C, HDMI, and USB for all devices. I highly recommend this monitor for anyone looking for a nice addition to your home office!

Once together and set on my desk I started the setup process. Samsung makes things very simple and straightforward as far as setup goes. I enjoyed this as it has so many features getting the settings right is key. The remote is really simple to use and I like that it has a solar charger built in. After my older 27" monitor broke I was excited to upgrade to the Samsung 32" Smart Monitor. I was at first excited about the size but didn't realize how much more productive I could be with the ability to have 2 browsers or other apps side by side! I love the resolution too, it allows me to get a lot more viewable areas to work with. The camera it comes with is a great addition and helps when doing video meetings. The magnetic camera cover is a nice added touch for a little more security. Once I'm done with my work day I just grab the remote and can watch TV shows and movies. I have a Samsung TV and I really do enjoy the Samsung TV Plus that the Smart Monitor has. It's got everything I need to watch some shows and chill. I hooked up to Netflix and Amazon Prime Video so using these services could be done on the Samsung monitor and share my accounts. It was great to pick up watching where I left off right at my desktop. I was given this monitor for review and have to say that overall Samsung has hit it out of the part with this monitor combining work and entertainment in one sleek and great-looking package. If you're looking for the ultimate multipurpose product that can work with you and also entertain you, this is it.

It has a great design and loads of features which make it suitable to fulfill just about any need. The monitor has a sleek design with a minimalist aesthetic and very slim profile. It really does not take up a lot of space at all. It has a very clean, moderm, and elegant look to it which allows it to fit into just about any environment, whether a professional office, home workspace, or even a living area. The stand is sturdy and provides height and tilt adjustments to help it fit into any use case. The 32" 4K UHD display has a great clear image. Combined with the high resolution, the screen has enough real-estate space that I am able to split the screen up when working from home and need to have documents side by side and still clearly read them. This allowed me to consolidate the two 24" external monitors I had previously been using, so now I only need to use the Samsung. The display is packed with features, allowing me to jump back and forth between work and entertainment without missing a beat. I can easily switch to one of the streamer apps and catch up on my shows when I need a break, and then quickly switch back to work mode and continue working from laptop. The solar cell remote control is compact and I love that I never really have to worry about replacing batteries. The built-in AI Assistant conveniently allows me to complete tasks with voice commands. The integration with the Samsung platform is seamless allowing me to connect it with my Samsung account, and even link my Samsung smartphone to it with their Dex application so that I can use my phone as a computer. The detachable SlimFit webcam works really well for video conferencing. The only negatives that I have regarding the monitor are that the ergonomics aren't the greatest but are pretty suitable for most scenarios. The sound quality is also a little underwhelming, I am not an audiophile, but I think my external speaker has clearer sound, but again, for most scenarios it will work just fine. This Smart monitor is truly versatile and packs a ton of features into a small package. It's a great choice for professionals, students, and entertain enthusiasts alike satisfying a wide range of usage needs. It really does do it all!

While there is not much of a difference on the inside from the other current model, the aesthetic definitely made this worth the purchase. I also got the Book4 Ultra along with it and everything just works perfectly together. I will admit... The 4K AI upscaling claim is definitely a gimmick.. love you Samsung but I didn't notice a difference when comparing content with the other current monitor. The sound quality is decent. I do wish there was an always on display option... Like a screensaver type thing... Aside from that, this monitor is perfect

The monitor seems heavy when you look at it, yet is light to handle. Have an excellent bance when placed on the desk. The graphic quality is superb. It's OS on the smart TV works fast and apps load in a breeze. The sound quality when amplified is crisp and clear and the connection to sound bars thought Bluetooth is an easy process. Thanks for such an excellent and affordable monitor guys. Keep building the products that will set the standards for the market.

I love that my main system gets charged while using the monitor - simplifying all my previous cabling. And I love that I can use the included remote to quickly switch to the other system. At the end of the day, I love that I can switch over to Netflix of Hulu or any of a number of other streaming services to kick back and relax. It even picks up my HDHomeRun LAN-based TV antenna allowing me to watch OTA live TV. I look forward to exploring the gaming service integration where all I need to do is connect a controller and the monitor will take care of everything else - without needing a separate computer. This monitor has well exceeded my expectations!

I wasn't sure what to expect and this monitor exceeds my expectations. I've been using this monitor mainly for my primary job from home and I'm convinced this is the only monitor I'll ever need. The picture quality is amazing and I love the fact that I can use it for work and watch my favorite shows with the many Apps installed. I checked of my favorite gaining app and it was spectacular. The 4K blows my mind. The monitor pairs excellent with all my devices. I had a little trouble with the camera, but it was my error and I was able to use the webcam for video conference. This monitor designed to fit most all of working and playing needs. Again but to mention it's a Smart TV! Samsung has free movies and shows for my entire family to watch. I can't express enough that this is a great investment. The ease of setting up was flawless. I'm having no issues with the monitor on my desk. The remote is perfect and works across from another room. I highly recommend Samsung 32" Smart Monitor M8 (M80D) for customers looking for a sleek monitor with many options. You won't be disappointed.

The Samsung M8 monitor has been the best installment in my setup. The big screen and compatibility with my PC allows me to plan schedules, complete assignments, and juggle several tasks while streaming and gaming on my second monitor. When I'm not working or gaming, the M8 monitor has been the most convenient mini TV in my loft, allowing me to sit back and relax while watching my favorite shows or streamers on the huge 32in display. I highly recommend the M8 monitor to people who multitask a lot or anyone who enjoys the convenience of having an all-in-one monitor that can be used with or without a PC.

I bought this smart monitor a few ago and I must say that it does fit in both worlds just fine. I can easily do my office work and at my free time do some gaming on the same screen. While mostly I have good things to say about this product but it is lacking in the Camera quality. I love the functionality of how the camera is attached right on top of monitor whitout any extra wires but my excitement was brought down quickly by the camera quality. Certainly there is a room for improvement and this is not a bad thing. It would have been better if camera supported 4k output.

I bought this as a hybrid TV/monitor for our small condo. It is sleek and versatile. the OS is very snappy and in general it is great for this dual purpose. I haven't really used the camera, so i appreciate being able to just clip it out. The smart assistant stuff sometimes get triggered by accident which can be annoying, and the remote is also a bit on the sensitive side, but these are minor complaints, the one part of this that feels a bit lacking is the sound (and tbh it's not a huge deal) where the max volume is certainly on the lower spectrum, so if you are hoping to entertain, you may need to add a soundbar.

Almost no mid or bass, sounds thin and tinny. The detachable camera is workable, but causes some flashing on the screen occasionally when using zoom. The usb hub in the back is very low speed. It’s a fine basic functionality monitor, but not really suitable for music lovers or for accurate sound reproduction.

Its been with me reducing the pain of my 13 inch college laptop as I try to debug circuits on virtual machines, design pcbs, type out documents and so much more. At my first adult job, I got a couple of monitors but they cannot replace the M8. With its capability to connect wirelessly to my work laptop, I can work from my bed on days that I feel under the weather. Not just for work and school, I also get to use it to reminisce my childhood as it streams TV shows from those days! I still recall when I cozied up under my blanket as I watched TV all day over winter break of my senior year, something which I hadn't done since high school! It's also got plenty of health features too, making it easier for me to access training videos. I recommend this monitor to anyone!

While it is a little slow in the refresh rate it does have exceptional pixel density being a 4k monitor. The colors are also very good for movies and if you don't have speakers the built-in ones do a solid job. toller großer Monitor.... sehr zufrieden jedoch benötige ich die Smart-TV Einrichtung gar nicht, ich würde den Monitor gerne ausschließlich als Monitor nutzen und weiß nicht, wie das geht. es kommt auch jedesmal nach Start eine Meldung: "wenn Sie den Monitor mit Maus steuern möchten, geben Sie ein... usw" ich weiß nicht, wie man diese doofe Meldung grundsätzlich weg bekommt. Das nervt total.

Part of Samsung's Smart Monitor lineup that includes the Samsung Smart Monitor M7 S43BM70, it comes with the Tizen smart platform built-in, which is the same platform that Samsung's TVs use. It has a ton of apps to stream your favorite content if you don't want to use your PC, essentially making it a small TV without a tuner. It has more features than most monitors because of the smart system, and it includes a webcam. It also has a remote with a mic for voice control, and you can choose whether you want to use the Bixby or Alexa voice assistants. It's available in four different colors, but the only thing that changes is the stand and bezel color, as the back remains white no matter which version you get. Samsung released a newer version of this monitor, the Samsung Smart Monitor M8/M80C S32CM80, which has many of the same features, but you can remove the stand to wall-mount it. I love it.

One of the most useful features for me is the 90W power delivery. When coding, I often rotate the monitor 90 degrees, giving me the extra screen space I’ve always wanted. My favorite thing is that it pairs with Samsung SMART Things so I own also a Samsung washer and dryer and a dishwasher. I love that I can watch my favorite show or I can be working and it will notify me when the dishwasher load or laundry is done. This is so useful because I don't need to set a timer and then realize that the timer was wrong and need to go back to get my laundry later. Now I just load my laundry or dishwasher like normal and it will notify me when it's done.

I've had my M8 for over a year and while it doesn't do everything perfectly, it certainly does everything well. I mostly use this screen for work, and with my job I have to have it color matched to my laptop, which took some time but once I got the match, to my surprise it might be better than my laptop screen. So it's a very sharp screen with excellent color reproduction, not to mention, it can provide power to my laptop and take video input on the same port. That's a BIG plus. I also use it for streaming shows and sometimes streaming games when I'm not working. The speakers leave a lot to be desired, but they still get the job done and when I was looking for a monitor It was very hard to find anything that had built in speakers that wasn't a TV. Would be nice to have a versa mount compatibility, but honestly the stand it comes with is great on it's own. Over all, highly recommend this Smart Monitor. If you're skeptical about the idea of having a smart monitor, give it a try and you might love it.

My intention was to get monitor size upgrade. I see a lot of potentials to improve this product even better. Lack of regular HDMI and limit USB-C ports. Lack of memory space if install more Apps. It would be nice for Apps to expand more apps such as HP Smart because it's not listed. Need to provide more information about the bluetooth keyboard/mice and the listing of apps to intergrate with the SmartCam. I'm only sad that I couldn't separate Smart Monitor remote away from Samsung TV remote and cable remote, they all are on same RF frequency which I wanted to keep it separate. A quick start up is amazing, so easy to navigate to find the settings, editing the layout on Home Hub and able to find what to look for such as to pair the bluetooth devices, Wi-Fi info, and etc that is much easier! Home Hub is nicely done, the ability to edit Home Hub would be nice addition feature. I'm so liking this huge 32" monitor that I am hooking it up to my PC that I use daily. A nicely upgrade monitor! I would recommend to someone who I think this product would benefit to use this amazing product.

Just bought it Tuesday. Set it up and the webcam will not work on the monitor . Tried everything. Service said they will send me a new cam . It feels like the design if the add on dongle either doesn't reach the pins or the cam doesn't work. The monitor just will nit see it and the cam is the reason I got the M80 instead of the lower priced model with a bit bigger screen for the buck. Not to happy. Also the color matching is a bit light on the images. Its an ok unit if the cam would work but , you buy Samsung because they are supposed good , its annoying.

First off it has a great 4K picture I can connect to my internet and watch any number of streaming apps and I can also connect to my Samsung phone and my Samsung ear buds and the speakers on this thing are great. I may never have to leave my office again. Compared to my 5 year old monitor (a different brand) it is night and day so glade I got this I’m sure there is more it will do, but for now I am happy.

I'd been just working off my laptop screen and I really needed a monitor to increase productivity. I also wanted to take advantage of the preorder deals. I considered the new G8, but didn't want to have to worry about burn in while working. After going through the initial setup, I was able to plug in my laptop to the monitor through the USB C port. It connects as well as powers the laptop, which is convenient. It reduces on cables and I can just leave the laptop charging brick in my laptop bag. I have an older Lenovo ThinkPad so I was worried there could be some compatibility or connection issues, but it just worked. As far as the monitor, it's great for programming and productivity. I can have two windows open side by side or expand some windows to full screen if needed. This is coming from working off the laptop monitor which while fine, you can really take advantage of the extra realestate. I also wanted to try the gaming hub and it works fairly well. I was able to pair my switch pro controller and tried Luna and GeForce Now. I won't get into the details with each service, but I was able to play games without too much hassle. There were some compatibility issues on some games with my controller, but that is more an issue with the pro controller. Complaints: You can't point the webcam down so it can capture a lot of space above your head. SamsungTV Plus auto starts which is annoying.

Not worth the buy if you're going to have multiple samsung devices in the same room like a Samsung Tv in your office. Also, the workspace is ineffective. I send more time connecting my laptop back to the Monitor because the easy connection to screen software is trash and I constantly get the "unable to connect to laptop. Make sure laptop is turned on and connected to network." Even though I was just using the screen. Do not buy it unless you don't plan on using it often. I wish I could just return it and go with another brand all together.

It has been perfect as a second monitor as well as for gaming. Aesthetically, the white monitor is just gorgeous and complements my light timber colour scheme. The audio is not that great so for watching Netflix for example, it is a bit on the tinny side. An external speaker will improve that for movie night. The camera whilst very very clever in how it is designed to fit well, the resolution is very low. It will not be a main camera if you need better resolution. I do wish it came with more than 1 HDMI port but I overcame that with a port splitter. Overall, I'm still super pleased as it performs both work and play functions very well.

Camera is a detachable however I always have it hooked up. Things I feel could have been different is -- for me its mainly computer use so would have preferred direct computer screen or easy switch option from computer to TV in one click in corner. Issues is if you loose remote then monitor doesnt turn on. so need to keep remote safe. Camera also needs a shortcut to get it on n off. to be frank I dont know how to access camera yet and get the max out of it. it didnt turn on couple of times for my zoom meeting. overall. I love the product and definitely will recommend. its at good price and as always samsung is best and reliable.

I connected it to an output doggle station, and I have a Nintendo Switch, PS5, PC, and standard television. It does it all looks sharp, and the gaming features it has makes my games look crisp and clean. No complaints it's very cool looking and the camera is discreet and works amazing for zoom meetings. I high recommend it for someone that wants multiple purposes.

It reminds me the old Picture in Picture capabilities of TVs in the 90's, yet way more powerful and useful in this newer work from home environment a lot of us are in. Although fairly intuitive, I wish there was more user instructions. It's sometimes very challenging to figure out how to switch between PC and TV, and trying to find out how to move the 2 half screens. Otherwise, the Picture and sound quality are amazing, like all other Samsung products!

Surprisingly light in weight for its size. Simple plug and play set up, one update required. The app is user friendly, I can use my phone to control the screen no issues and screen mirror very easily. Picture quality is amazing, sounds is 8/10 Overall would recommend this purchsseto anyone sitting on the fence.

I have been using this monitor for more than a year now and I liked the overall features and quality but the brightness adjustment is the worse, every night I try to set the brightness to zero and realize that it's at its minimum brightness. It's too bright to watch at night. Also the apps in the app store don't really get any frequent updates and some of them start to freeze. As a work monitor it is really good but the SMART TV's software is the worst.

You need to understand the letters in writing and characters on the screen with great colors, perfect illumination, an outstanding context. With its remote it makes it easy to wich between the icons that you want to pick with the easy, click of a button. You're there. This samsung monitor has been the most outstanding monitor I have yet to to use out of other ones that I have used in the past.

The big screen offers a wide angle to fit all my windows in a singular viewing port and it’s very snappy as well. I have a smart Monitor 32" and it is the worst monitor I have ever had. The color is great but the monitor will on its own switch to Portal and interferes with what ever I am trying to watch causing me to have to reset back to station. This happens right in the middle of a Ball game or the news and due to this already having several Samsung TV's and other products I no longer trust Samsung.

Sounded like a jack of all trades, master of none situation. But the Samsung M80D proved me wrong... mostly. First off, this thing is gorgeous. The 32-inch 4K screen is crisp, vibrant, and makes everything look amazing, from spreadsheets to the latest blockbuster. HDR10+ is the cherry on top, adding that extra oomph to movies and games. And speaking of games, the built-in Gaming Hub is a game-changer (pun intended!). No need to hook up a console, just grab your controller and dive into cloud gaming. It's seriously convenient. But here's where things get a little less rosy. The built-in speakers? Meh. They're fine for casual use, but if you're serious about sound, you'll want external speakers. Overall though, I'm impressed. This monitor has basically become my entertainment and productivity central. It's sleek, stylish, and packed with features. Just don't ditch your soundbar just yet.

The M8 has more premium design with a slimmer profile. Making it delightful to look at even when it is off. While on, the M8 provides a 4K UHD resolution at3840 x 2160 pixels. Simply put, it makes a spreadsheet look like art and turbo drives content creation due to the higher clarity. The smart features are BRILLANT features. I was able to remove the smart speaker in the office because the M8 works as a triggering device even with the monitor off. The built in features include apps for streaming services, internet browsing, and more. They can also connect to Samsung's SmartThings ecosystem. The M8 is designed for demanding tasks, including high-definition content creation, detailed graphical work, and professional productivity. The M8's USB-C port with power delivery, speakers and an intelligent webcam for video conferencing. I highly recommend the Samsung 32" M8.

Hard for me to believe Samsung says the broad range of connections is a plus then only have one hdmi port. Hook up cable using the one hdmi port, just have to swap things around if you want to watch a DVD??? Not very well thought out seems to me.
