[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The tv is a bit larger than expected and is good! The remote is very tiny - exactly half the width of a regular cellphone. The picture is good and various aspects can be adjusted. Many channels and apps are available and you can set up other apps and favorite channels. Many steps can be involved and require some practice and patience to figure out how to work some buttons. It’s good to be able to quickly return to the immediate previous channel being watched and flip back and forth during commercials. It takes some trial and error to see the info/content of the channels. The sound is fine. The stand is easy to install and the tv is lightweight.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Samsung - 55” Smart TV is a great upgrade from our old TV. We love how clear the picture is and how bright all the colors are. On some shows, the picture is so crisp and clear it looks as if we are actually on the set while the shows were filming. The smart TV aspect is great as well, we don’t need to use any additional devices in order to stream our shows. The set-up was pretty simple. We just had to create a Samsung account to be able to get the apps we wanted. We have never used a Samsung smart TV before, so learning their platform has taken some time to adapt to. Overall, we love the high-quality picture and the sound quality.

Had an electrical transformer explode at the street and the surge blew out my old tv even with a surge protector. So, I researched and found this one on sale. What an excellent tv. Was a bit of a learning curve to understand and use all the features/menus. The paper manual is in tiny print, so I went to the Samsung website and downloaded all the manuals: tv user manual, user setup, remote control and quick start up, etc. I was then able to enlarge and read them om my computer screen. Took me a couple of hours to fully explore, understand, and set all the features, but once done it became very easy and intuitive to use. For the $, tv is featured packed, excellent sound and picture. All menus and functions are smooth and relatively fast in responding and populating. I am impressed, and it takes a lot to impress me. Very pleased with this purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Getting Started: The TV was incredibly easy to setup; I was able to physically remove the unit from the box solo. Logging into streaming platforms was easy and intuitive as well, especially if you already have a Samsung account which saves all your app logins from one Samsung TV to the next. Design and Build: As an affordable model, this TV impressed me greatly. The bezel is small and accentuates the excellent picture quality. It’s not ultra thin, but I think this is a plus as it feels less fragile when moving. The legs mounts were easy to install and despite their small form factor, feel sturdy and reliable. The remote control is small and bare bones, but functional albeit a tad unresponsive at certain angles. Picture & Sound: This TV features beautiful video quality and HDR functionality, with vibrant colors and excellent contrast. Sound is good, but would certainly be enhanced with a sound bar or speaker system. Smart TV Features: There’s lots to love here. As a gamer, the Motion Xcelerator system helps enhance the refresh rate to create a smooth gaming experience. The TV also features a game mode which improves the responsiveness even more. The built in voice assistant (tested Bixby) is reliable and works well paired with a Samsung branded phone. The inclusion of Samsung Knox security is a nice addition too, and assists with protection from unauthorized apps and/or security threats which most of us don’t even think about in regards to a TV, so a definite nice touch there. Taken together with the ease of logging into apps, both bluetooth and wifi capabilities, it truly is a versatile device and could easily be used as a living room TV or even a computer monitor. Overall Experience: This TV rocks! The look, feel, and setup are top tier at this price point with noticeably good gaming performance and an excellent overall value. The weak spot is definitely the remote control, but it’s not a deal-breaker whatsoever. I highly recommend this TV.

My last TV broke (not a Samsung) and needed a new TV for my room to replace it with. I am such a fan of Samsung so it was an easy decision for me to make buying another Samsung (we already have 3 Samsung TV's and computer monitor in our house). This new one is really nice, the picture brightness and contrast is so sharp I love it. The size 43" was a perfect fit for my bedroom too. I think I can say I am a fan of Samsung and will be for a long time.

The sound system is great and the picture quality is amazing. I do feel like sometimes it is a tiny bit laggy with the control remote’s response, however, it doesn’t bother me and been using it just fine. Samsung TV's have been good products with our family so this was an incentive to stay with the same brand again this time around. I'm just not used to the remote and miss the voice command option. I am SO happy with our choice. This tv has a great picture- we did mess with the brightness and saturation a little to get what we liked based on lighting in the room and that was easy to do. The navigation among streaming services and adding apps for services is super easy. The sound quality is also really good. Our previous tv needed a sound bar but it didn’t attach to this tv. We assumed we’d need to buy a new sound bar but we’ve been watching it a week now and the sound has been great with sports and movies. I highly recommend this tv. The price point makes it an easy choice and it’s definitely worth it!

We were initially looking at a TLC with Roku because we've liked those in the past, but are really happy we went with a Samsung. The image is bright and clear and everything looks great, even older stuff. The remote is super responsive and the user interface is awesome. I love that I can use my Samsung Galaxy phone as an additional remote, which makes for a very convenient and comfortable experience. Plus, being a able to connect an Xbox controller to the TV via Bluetooth and play games without a dedicated console is amazing. Would definitely recommend this to others.

So I just got this TV delivered today and I have set it up for gaming as that is what i tend to do in my free time. One thing i noticed is that this TV does have the BT2020 color space option and ST2084 gamma option (likely due to the HDR that this TV supports). Does this TV not have Dolby Vision? If it does and I just can't seem to find it I would like to Know if it does. My Xbox Series X doesn't seem to think this TV has Dolby Vision at least.

I don't really like it when it makes my TV shows look fake, which they are, but sometimes it makes the shows look bad due to feeling like you're on the actual set. Very happy with this TV so far. My old TV bit the dust after a long and happy 17 years. This one is a bit bigger. Wanted a larger screen due to eye/vision issues. The resolution is nice and the brightness is perfect. Contrast is good although I do feel it could be a bit crisper at times. I haven’t watched anything on it yet that would fully demonstrate its full HD capabilities Sound is good. The only thing I am not big on is the remote. It is difficult to read and the volume buttons can be a bit tricky. I tend to accidentally mute when I am trying to turn volume up or down. A minor thing overall. I would buy this TV again.

I have to install and use CHSN for three local sports teams. I have no issues on my other tvs, installed and works. Not this TV, UN55U8000HFXZA. I have contacted support several times and was told I have to wait for their app database to update for this app on this model. It's been over 6 months! Very disappointed with Samsung not having this available.

Overall, pictures is great, but I’m disappointed in the sound output across so many different stations The auto feature on the sound output is great and should be compatible with multiple Bluetooth and/or HDMIARC without having to purchase a Samsung brand sound bar as I did not have the money to so right now unfortunately I’m stuck with a sound bar and can’t use the auto sound output feature to control the random very loud changes in volume

This Tv has very easy set up, he had this going within 10 minutes. The remote has a Netflix and Prime button. We are not very tech savvy but you don’t need to be with this. There are only two things with this tv; it does not come with the place to connect headphones, so I had to buy him wireless ones and pair them. The other thing is since it’s in another room and facing opposite wall (open concept) when I turn up or turn off one tv, sometimes it does the same to the other. It’s still an overall great tv and I’m happy he’s enjoying it.

Only thing is the remote w/the microphone icon - so you can use Bixby - was not included. I had to buy an additional one. The remote I cannot get open to change the batteries. I have watched videos, chatted with AI - nothing works. Not sure why it was made so hard to open.

This TV is great. Screen brightness and contrast is outstanding. Controls are modernized and the responsiveness is pretty quick with upscaling providing smooth screen experience. Volume is clear, with the soundstage providing great range.

The volume on my television has a reverberation whenever it is on 16 or above!!! Which is NOT a very loud volume!!! It usually occurs during laughter, crying, a loud bang something like that which happens all the time!! I have adjusted the volume as much as I am able and nothing helps! Is there anything else YOU CAN HELP ME WITH? PLEASE ADVISE!!!

The TV itself is really good quality. The price for it is not bad and the scale is perfect. Only thing is, it’s not the best when it comes to the sound system. Whenever I’m watching it, I have to put the volume at 30 so I can hear it very clearly. I wish it was better and louder for the sound/volume.

We especially like the easy downloading of data and settings from our old TV. The only hic-up was the mounting pattern on the new TV is different enough from the old TV that was will have to replace or modify the wall mount. For now we are using the legs that came with it with no complaints.

This particular model tv did not meet my expectation. The picture quality is poor, even with the dynamic settings. Nothing compared to the in that I had to replace. The picture is bright but not clear at all. Does not live up to "4k" quality. Very disappointed

I have noticed that when watching sports the scenes are crisp and sharp and it feels like you are right there in the middle of the action. The interface of the TV is easy to navigate. I enjoy how many apps you can download to watch all of my favorite shows. All in all I am pleased with this TV.

Love this Smart TV! Needed an upgrade from an old smart tv to a dependable one for our combo bedroom art studio space and this Samsung is the best! Easy to setup. Easy to get our streaming apps dowloaded. We are in our 70's and it can be scarey upgrading, but this was painless and very successful!

The 65-inch Samsung Crystal UHD U8000H has a bright, sharp picture with rich colors that make movies and sports look fantastic. The menu is easy to navigate, the apps open quickly, and I was streaming within minutes of setting it up. One thing I really appreciate is how well it upscales older content, making even non-4K shows look noticeably better. The slim design also looks great mounted on the wall and gives the room a clean, modern look. Overall, this TV offers a great balance of picture quality, performance, and value. The software on the television is a turtle in comparison to what I thought 2026 software would perform. Television offers many good games movies and applications but many can't perform under hardware specs , take multiple paid subscriptions, are not compatible but advertised, the controls feel manipulated beyond the basic haptics of a remote layout.. the television turns onto random things when powered on just depends on the day. Very strong internet connection but still choppy connection uncertain of issue Only one USB port and three HDMI ports. Give me more power and less waste.

The hookup to HDMI like Roku stick and the Samsung Blu Ray Player and even digital antenna was easy and seem less. The television display is amazing. I am a movie buff and the movies for instance that I watch are a big upgrade over old technology.

It replaced an old TV that, even though it was new, was very lacking. I love the functionality and ease of the TV. It is so easy to set up. What's really great is that you can also use your phone to control it, and you can do pretty much everything on your phone. So, you really don't need a remote, but the remote is also very easy to use. It's sleek; it has a very nice, simple design. I also really love the way the TV looks in my room; it's very flush. It looks very nice and modern. I also love the functions, such as having my apps and being able to download apps and also play games on the TV without a gaming console—it's amazing. The intuitiveness of the Samsung TV makes it understand what I want to watch. The AI built-in makes it easy for it to know, like, maybe suggesting these shows or those shows. I haven't had it long, but I already love this TV; it is so nice.
