I love that there were different colors to pick from. That may not be a huge detail for everyone but I like having the choice. And it just so happened to match my phone case color, too, so it's perfect. There's plenty of room on it for me with the 32 GB. I haven't even used a quarter of the storage space up yet and I've cleared my phone's gallery out twice with it already. If you're looking for some extra storage space I'd highly recommend considering this flash drive.

The ice-maker in my fridge, the clothes washing machine and 2 of these little guys. Used them both for less than 2 months (random stuff at half or less capacity). Then I used both to back up my WEDDING photos and HONEYMOON/TRIP TO EUROPE. Fast forward 8 months and neither will even read from any device even the one that put the data on it. Devastating to lose all of those memories. My wife still won't forgive me and refuses to use Samsung anything because of this.

Realized it was time for an upgrade since that device was 10 years old. Safe to say, quite happy with this product. Copy speeds are lightning fast and I put videos/recordings on it and view it off of my monitor/tv, which is also super smooth. Easy to carry around and does not get that warm when in use. Gets super cold to touch when it’s colder but I’m not complaining lol. Highly recommend if you need an improvement as well.

I have used several other brands and always has issues whether it was not the size it said it would be or they would be slow or just stop working and I would lose dara. I finally bit the bullet and went with the more expensive option. Now Samsung is my only option. They are what they say they are. Its reliable, easy to use and I yet to have one fail. I don't care to much about the look of it. But they are very reliable, fast and work with everything i have needed it for.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m a big fan of the **Samsung BAR Plus**, mostly because it’s one of the few flash drives that doesn’t feel like a cheap toy. The metal body is solid, looks great on a keychain, and has survived a few accidental drops (and even a coffee spill) without a scratch. It’s lightning-fast when you’re opening files or watching a movie directly off the drive, though saving large files *to* the drive takes a bit longer than I’d like. Since it’s metal, it also acts like a little radiator and gets pretty warm to the touch after a big transfer, but it hasn't caused any actual issues. If you want something durable that looks professional for your photos or schoolwork, this is it. I’m only knocking off one star because the write speeds could be peppier, but for daily use, it’s a winner.

Rozczarowałam się tymi pendrivami. Mam kilka sztuk kupionych. Mocno sie nagrzewa. Jeden z tych pendrivów postanowiłam reklamowac, bo ma 5 lat gwarancji. Chodziło o to, że predkość kopiowania była bardzo niska rzędu 2,42 MB/s, duże pliki kopiowały sie wieczność, na innych pendrovach SAMSUNGA była predkość 90 MB/s, więc stwierdziłam, że ten ma ewidentnie jakąś wadę. Serwis SAMSUNGA stwierdził, że pendrive działa prawidłowo. Jakaś porażka. Nie polecam. Zawiodłam się. Lepiej kupić jakiś dysk niż pendrive SAMSUNGA.

I've gone through a number of USBs, however this one is by far the most reliable in terms of storage, speed at which I can copy and move files and add folders within the flash drive. It is convenient, and efficient especially considering there is so much storage I'm at ease knowing I won't need to buy another for a while. It's aesthetically pleasing to the eye as well--overall a great product.

Przestał działać po niecałych dwóch tygodniach. W trakcie przesyłania plików prędkość nagle spadła do poziomu 200Kb/s i już nigdy nie wróciła do poziomu wyjściowego czyli około 18Mb/s. Po formacie prędkość wskoczyła ledwo na 4 Mb/s. Materiał, z którego został wykonany zostawia wiele do życzenia, przy wkładaniu do portu USB od razu zdziera się farba oraz bardzo szybko się nagrzewa. Jest to kolejny produkt Samsunga, który odznacza się beznadziejną jakością.

This is a great flash drive. The design allows for pocket carry. The transfer speeds are extremely fast. I purchased 20 total of these drives for restoring baseline images via acronis. The 3.1 speeds are drastically greater than the 3.0. Also, if considering purchasing the 648Gb, the speeds between the two are drastically in favor of the 128Gb version. Invest the few extra dollars in the 128Gb version for the significantly upgraded transfer speeds.

I've used this device for over a year. I used it pretty hard when I first got it. It was a drive for a Windows 10 IoT install on a Raspberry Pi 4 for almost 2 months. The drive still writes data at around 230 MB/s and reads at almost 380 MB/s consistently. On USB 2, it starts at around 300 MB/s but slows down to 6.7 MB/s and stays there for the rest of the transfer. This is a solid USB drive. Best one I've used so far.

I got thos because it was water prof if dropped and won't crack if dropped .. it runs smoothly and fast transfers even at 300 plus items at a time I say about 5 minutes or less . I have used others and those can take 15 minutes plus to transfer 300 plus files or photos. .. thos drive was also taken over seas and pass all the things I need it to.

I don't know why there are bad reviews on the USB, but I been using this USB more than 2-3 years and never had an issue. Most of parts I liked about this USB is the unbreakable material, speed of transfering files and opening USB, and it never got overheated. Depending on computer, but in my case it took me 10 second to open the USB on PC or sometimes it's less than 10 seconds.

I was tired of other brands claimed speeds only to have to wait hours for a few gb tp transfer. This one is way faster only takes a few minutes rather than hours. The flash drive is build well the metal doesn't feel like sheet metal like others. This meets like it's cast aluminum.

thought i had a good brand in samsung, but after 2 months usage, the bar plus usb flash drive failed and would not be recognized by my computers. very disappointed. the information on how to obtain warranty on the 5 year warranty policy of this item is obscure or hidden somewhere, but not on the product package and nowhere i could find on the website.

it stopped workiing after 7 months. had slow writing speeds of less than 40 mb/s in a windows laptop where its reading speeds only reached a max of about 200 mb/s. heated up by 10°c of room temperature within the first 15-20 minutes of being plugged in to a usb 3.0 port. what a waste of money.

Big disappointment. The read speed is OK, but the write speed is unbelievably poor. I get 260 MB/sec read speed. Writing is less than 60 MB/sec. Snoooooooooooze. Don't buy this product. The advertising "Up to 300MB/s Data Transfer Speed" is grossly misleading.

I took this to shambhala and swam with it on my neck for a week then played a show with in Seattle a week later, basically indestructible. I have worn in for a necklace for almost 2 years, its just works as advertised.

It worked well for only 1 month, today the recording speed was 60 mb/s, and then it dropped to 4 mb/s. Formatting the flash drive to the exFAT and NTFS file systems did not help. Speed remains low. Poor quality product.
