    I am trying to install my own voice control application which I prefer to S Voice, but when I initiate it the phone reverts to S Voice. I had the app installed on my last samsung phone (S3) and it worked fine. Can you help ? Regards

    Hi Brian, You cannot remove S Voice from your Note 3 as it is an embedded application so any attempt to do so could be considered as tampering with your handset and would void your warranty. Thanks.

    To add to this discussion, no it cannot be removed however via Application Settings you can indeed disable the functionality around it. Hope this helps.

    If I could add to Samsung's helpful answer, regarding voiding of the warranty, recall that in the UK your warranty is defined and protected in statute (i.e. law) and is the responsibility of your retailer - the one with whom you have a contract - and not Samsung. Moreover, when Samsung suggests your warranty might be "voided" you should know that manufacturer or retailer T&Cs which try to limit or void warranties have no effect - the law is sovereign over corporate T&Cs and attempts by manufacturers or retailers to wriggle out of their statutory obligations are themselves null and void. It would have to be shown that any defect the subject of a warranty claim was the direct result of your "modification", only then would your warranty be any doubt and even then only in regards that particular issue.

    Further to Samsung's answer: "We believe it does not come with built in FM radio, but there are third party radio app available in the Google PLay store. You can also use internet radio." Regarding the advice about 3rd party radio apps via Google Play Store, you should be aware that nothing you can download from Google Play Store can compensate for the lack of a built in FM radio hardware. Without a built in FM radio no FM radio app can work. Internet Radio will work, but that should not be confused with FM radio.

    This phone appears to suffer with issues of overheating and rebooting. Are you planning a software release to fix this. I have installed all the latest updates as Ive only had the phone 2 days and its almost unusable like this!

    In the context of Samsung Support's answers relating to regional SIM lock, could you explain exactly the full meaning of the term "activated normally"?

    "Activated normally" means that a SIM from a provider within one of the countries on the sticker is inserted in the phone and the phone switched on. The Samsung E-Support team answer is surprising as it suggests that a Note 3 can be used, following activation, with SIMs from the home/constituency region and does not go on to say that, following activation, it can be used with SIMs from countries outside of the home region. Presumably the E-Support team answer will be updated to correct this at some point.

    Hi Martin, Activated normally is by entering a sim card into the phone from the country it was manufactured for. Once this sim card has activated this phone you can insert a sim from any other country within the constituency region EG: EU and the phone will work. Thanks.

    I dont think Samsung Galaxy Note 3 has a built in FM Radio. However, what I did was download "TuneIn" app, and I could access all the possible radio stations via the app. The app uses internet so be careful if you dont have unlimited internet access.

    Hi, the USB 3.0 option is not available after plugging in the official cable to my PC. I've looked on You Tube and its as simple as......drag down notification window, select connection type but no USB 3.0?? Any thoughts, cheers

    The Note 3 seem to have a feature that lets some SD-Compatible apps. to download directly on the SD card, whereas other SD-compatible apps. download in the device and offer one the option to move to SD card at a later stage. It is extremely irritating having apps downloading directly to the SD card without being able to stop from doing this automatically, especially for those who often swap their SD card in the phone. This means that every time the SD card is taken out or changed, one looses access to the apps loaded on that card. While this used to be quite valuable in the past, there is really no reason nowadays to move apps to the SD cards, since phone come with a large internal storage

    When I try to connect to my wifi I get an answer, something along the lines of Unable to connect service is too slow. I don't have this problem with my Note 10.1 or my Galaxy S4, although we are rural so our internet is satellite system which has a bit of a slow uptake.
