How to Share Your Wi-Fi Password Without Typing It

When you need to give your Wi-Fi password to house visitors, you might occasionally forget it. Or perhaps you simply don't want to have to repeat your Wi-Fi network and password to each visitor you have over. You may share your Wi-Fi password with other Android phones using a function on your Galaxy device that only requires them to scan a QR code.

Before you try the recommendations below, be sure to check if your device's software and related apps are updated to the latest version. To update your mobile device's software, follow these steps:

Step 1. Go to Settings > Software Update.

Step 2. Tap on Download and Install.

Step 3. Follow the on-screen instructions.

Other Android phones can connect to your Wi-Fi network without needing to input your password or search for it. They only need to scan a QR code created by your Galaxy mobile.

Here's how you may locate the QR code on your device:
