How to use 360 audio on your Samsung Galaxy Buds
The 360 audio feature delivers immersive surround sound, making you feel as if you are right in the middle of the action. You can also enable Head tracking, which helps automatically adjust the sound direction based on your head movements for a more realistic experience. For the best audio quality, keep your connected mobile device nearby while listening.

- With Head tracking enabled, the volume may fluctuate or one side may suddenly become louder or quieter depending on your body movements. For a more stable experience, it is recommended to use this feature in an environment with minimal movement.
- Feature availability may vary depending on the Galaxy Buds model.
- This feature is available on Galaxy phones and tablets running Android 11 (One UI 3.1) or later, and on certain Samsung TV models.

- Performance may vary depending on the surrounding wireless environment or the distance from the connected device. For the best experience, it is recommended to use them in areas with minimal wireless interference or close to your connected device.
Launch the Wearable app on the mobile device connected to your Galaxy Buds to activate 360 audio and Head tracking.
Step 1. Open Settings > Select your connected Buds.
Step 2. Tap Sound quality and effects.
Step 3. Tap 360 audio.
Step 4. Toggle the switch to activate the feature. You can also enable Head tracking to adjust the sound direction when you turn your head.
Can I change the centre point of the Head tracking soundstage?
Yes. If you turn your head and hold it in that position for more than 7 seconds while the soundstage is centred, the centre point will automatically shift to that new direction.
Head tracking stops working while I am walking with my Buds on.
This is normal operation. If you walk a certain distance while carrying your mobile device, Head tracking will automatically pause, and the soundstage will immediately return to the centre. (The feature itself remains ON).
Head tracking frequently pauses while I am on public transport (e.g., a bus).
This is normal operation. Head tracking will automatically pause during significant acceleration, turns at intersections, or when the vehicle rotates (such as on highway interchanges).
Head tracking feels significantly delayed when I move my head.
Check if the Ultra high quality (UHQ) audio feature is turned ON. When UHQ is enabled, a delay in Head tracking speed may occur as noted in the settings.
Does 360 audio turn off when the mobile device screen is OFF?
Yes. When the device screen is turned OFF, 360 audio automatically stops. However, the feature is not disabled; it will resume functioning as soon as the device screen is turned back ON.
